    ARE THERE PROPHECIES ABOUT CREATION BECOMING ONE WITH GOD

    Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not MOSES and the PROPHETS, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

    Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him (Paul) a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the KINGDOM OF GOD, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of THE LAW OF MOSES, and out of THE PROPHETS, from morning till evening.

    Acts 28:24 And some BELIEVED the things that were spoken and some BELIEVED NOT.

    Prophecy spoken by Daniel.

    Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, BROKEN TO PIECES together, and become like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors, and the wind carried them away, and no place was found for them: and THE STONE (CHRIST) that smote the IMAGE became a GREAT MOUNTAIN, AND FILLED THE WHOLE EARTH.

    Psalms 2:8 Ask of me and I will GIVE THEE the heathen for thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

    Psalms 2:9 Thou shall BREAK THEM with a rod of iron, thou shall DASH THEM IN PIECES as a potter's vessel.

    Psalms 22:27 ALL the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

    Psalms 22:29 .....and all they that go down to the dust shall bow before thee ....

    God Bless You this PASSOVER.

    Romans 4:3

    Gabriel, I loved what you said about looking up and not looking around you! It was good to hear that today. Thank you!

    Keep the faith. God blesses us when we keep our eyes on Him, believing He will do it, and not looking around at our circumstances.

    I do believe that God is FOR marriage. It's a covenant not to be taken lightly. And no man should put asunder what the Lord has joined together. I believe it's His will to restore and bless marriages. Please continue to stay faithful and pure while you wait for her. That pleases the Father and you will also have no regrets later. The devil will try to take that from you to hinder your prayers and cause you to sin before the Lord. Stay strong!

    Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving Gabriel the strength and faith to stand in the gap for his wife Gabby and his marriage. I pray that You bless and strengthen his faith as he waits on You. Help him to be the strong spiritual leader that Gabby needs in her life. Please allow her to desire You above all, Lord, and renew her love for Gabriel. Protect them both. Please heal and restore this marriage. In Jesus name. Amen.

    Happy Easter!

    Does the bible support a women Pastor or Bishop.I know already that the bible supports women in ministering the word, just to clarify.

    Well Alex, I see that you believe that Romans 8:38,39 is Paul "addressing the whole world", when the whole chapter is clearly to Christians ONLY. With such an interpretation you give to this & most other Scriptures, there's no more that can be written that could guide you further into the Truth. So I will leave it that Alex; I was hoping that we could have had a meaningful discussion on various verses, but I see you have your own interpretations. GBU.

    Happy Easter 2022 everyone, remember that you are valuable as i will try and write to you in black and white. So pray for the spirit of wisdom right now.

    Think so well: John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

    Think of those of you who have lost loved ones in recent years, or maybe right now! These people who are in Paradise right now! (They are lifted up it says in an older edition). It means that the servant of the Lord has been given rest. And for those who are left full of sorrow and bitterness, No far from you friend! In Jesus Holy Name. The rest of us He will prune so that we can reap more souls for Him who can and said: It is finished. In Jesus name

    And we take a little jump to John 16:8-11 And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

    Pleace read it one more time! We know that here the Lord means the Holy Spirit that He was to send after He was risen from the dead.

    Of sin, because they believe not on Me;

    Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see Me no more;

    Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

    So what is true judgmental sin? It says so.

    So what does justice really mean. We are reminded of James 5:16 where it says: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. There was one answer we have several examples of justice:

    Romans 3:21-26 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

    Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: There came the answers to the other two.

    Jesse Rev 12 : 7 Speaks of WAR in heaven....Satan and his angels want to destroy the Woman that has given birth to the manchild

    And john spoke of violence in heaven...The Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

    Bur Jesus was the kingdom of God and he ate with sinners...They that be whole need not a physician but them that are sick.

    Hope this helps you in some way Jesse....GBU
  • Alex N - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Bro. Christ you are the one who does not know True Context...Jesus our lord plainly tells us they that be whole need not a physician but them that are SICK...Thats everybody simply b/c there was none Righteousness NO NOT ONE...Chris you are of the mind frame that our conduct saves us, its what he did at Calvary that is gonna save everybody...The whole world is sick...The whole world needs a Physician...Chris we have been in that time period Jesus warns us of ..a time of darkness...Remember Jesus said I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD BUT THE NITE COMES WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK...Lets look at the true context...Modern day Christianity is in Darkness simply b/c we do not have the Kingdom yet...The Book has not been opened just yet with the words of life...Remember Peter asked Jesus to whom shall we go lord thou has the words of eternal life...( the book in the right hand of the FATHER ) that he wrote with his own blood.

    ....Chris keep in mind that God so loved the whole world...What Jesus did at calvary is gona save EVERYBODY....Its everybody that needs a physician Chris...I pray that God opens your understanding...You remind me so much of the Pharisees....And our Physician has a very potent cure for our illness...its His Blood...When we yet sinners ( the whole world ) Christ died for US.

    .... Romans 8 : 38...Absolutly nothin can separate us from the Love of God....he is not speaking to just Christians...this is addressed to whole world as God so loved the world that he gave us his son...neither life nor death nor angels nor things present nor things to come nor hunger nor distress etc etc...Chris we cannot limit God when we limit God we cut him out completely...Chris Doncha remember David saw ALL the world at rest and full of his Glory...shall we tear that out .

    It says in the new and Old Testament, that all men will know God in His day yet to come .

    Every knee will bow every Eye will see Him .

    Why because the truth is Jesus paid for the sins of all , by his blood and death . So all belong to Jesus .

    But not all will believe in him and not all are written in the lambs book of life , therefor cast into the lake of fire .

    Many make the mistake of thinking what Alex is saying will get them into heaven etc . But no those that believe in Christ's life and follow him a the cost of their fleshly life and the things of the world will .

    Apostle Paul said I'm dead to the world and his own self . By the cross the power of God . To walk in newness of Life . This is what baptism is about . Dead to sin and alive unto God , through Christ .

    Jesus is Lord of all . He bought them with his blood and death .

    But many do not believe in his life and refuse to follow or obey .

    If you know the NT you should be familiar with my references .

    Concerning this passage Patrick, I believe that the Lord Jesus may have explained to His disciples that Elias (Elijah) who came, came in the spirit & power as was seen endued in the person of John the Baptist. The Angel of the Lord spoke to Zacharias (John's father) of the prophecy that was upon his coming son: Luke 1:17, "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." This was not Elijah reincarnated, but the man John the Baptist who would display the same zeal & power of words & action as did Elijah.
  • Chris - In Reply on Matthew 17 - 3 years ago
    Actually Patrick, the KJV shows the name as 'Elias' not Elisha (two different people). And Elias is another form of the name 'Elijah' (from the Hebrew, Eliyyah). So the RSV & KJV both speak of the same man, Elijah.

    Hi Lance. Lotteries or any form of gambling is not written about in the Bible, so it becomes a matter between you & God. How does the Spirit guide you or speak when you are planning to wager some money?

    Just speaking for myself & being an ex-gambler, that was one of the first areas of my life (amongst others), where I was severely dealt with by God when He drew me to Himself. I learnt about the Laws of Probability at school, yet still enjoyed the 'excitement' of anticipating a win (which of course rarely came). The lure of gambling is as potent & devastating as to the one given to excessive compulsive drinking. It has the potential to take a small monetary 'flutter' & make it into an addiction, causing a departure of any sensibility we might have had. And that is why we're encouraged "to abstain from all appearance of evil" ( 1 Thessalonians 5:22). It may not seem an 'evil' at the time, but evil has a very large mouth & appetite.

    We are to fully trust God for our monetary needs, indeed, all our needs ( Matthew 6:24-34; Hebrews 13:5) and what He does give to us to use, we must use wisely & for His Glory & benefit of others. I believe that He is pleased when the resources He gives us to use are used well, but when they are wasted in ways that almost guarantee a complete loss & ensuing breach in our spirit, He would be disappointed. Bring the matter before the Lord, think on these things & consider the consequences, dear friend.

    No , not Joel olsteen , I don't think much of him either . He focuses far to much on getting things in this life and being successful in this world . That's just my opinion , sorry if I've offended any one , I'm even sorry if I offended Joel olsteen but I have to say what I believe .
  • Grae - In Reply - 3 years ago
    The lottery is gambling . Some people consider gambling to be a sin . As Christians we are not supposed to be conformed to this world . That means that we should think about something carefully before we do it . Example : if a lot of non Christians are doing something , think about wether or not u should b doing it also . Would u find Jesus gambling at the race track ? Or in a strip club ? Or buying a lottery ticket ? If u r a Christian u need to think about these things . I know Christians who do the lottery , I'm not one of them .

    Yes ELB , I happen to be reading Romans at this time Ch 7 V 14 - 25 and continuing into Ch 8 . In Ch 7 Paul says ' For I know that in me dwelleth no good thing ' if Paul can say this then how much more readily should we confess this ! V 25 of Ch 7 : I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord . So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God ; but with the flesh the law of sin . Ch 8 V 5 - 8 : For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh ; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit . For to be carnally minded is death ; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace . Because the carnal mind is enmity against God : for it is not subject to the law of God , neither indeed can be . So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God . Romans Ch 7&8 ,two awesome chapters . The law of God being love , peace and obedience . Love God , love each other , seek peace within ourselves through Christ , seek peace with others because we love Christ and obey God . Much love in Christ .

    Dear Gigi , I object to no one's honest opinions on here , this is a place of open and Frank discussion . The only thing I object to is that inflammatory language such as ' unhealthy and devilish attitude ' . Please remember that most of the time on here we are all either commited Christians or people wanting to learn more about the Bible . When we knowingly insult each other it is the same as insulting Christ himself , we shouldn't do it and I know enough about u to know that in hindsight u probably regret the words u used because u r a Christian lady .
  • Chris - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Alex, you quoted 1 Corinthians 15:19. You seem to pick a verse & then apply it to support your belief. Please think again & re-read the passage. Paul is talking about Christians - that they should have their hope set in Christ now & in the promised resurrection. You're applying the verse to all people (saved & lost) which is a wrong understanding & application.

    Exodus 12:27. From this verse, you write that "God accepts everybody simply b/c of the Blood of the Lamb". God "passed over" only those who obeyed God & placed the blood on their doorposts & lintels. The Egyptians suffered because they didn't have the blood there. We have the Blood of Christ upon us & as testimony before the Father & so have "passed from death to life". All who reject the Gospel are like the Egyptians, not having the Blood, & the Lord will not hold them guiltless.

    Romans 8:38,39. Paul is writing about Christians being totally secure in Christ - not that unbelievers will be secured by God even in judgement. You can't apply verses speaking about believers & then force them to apply to the unsaved.

    All the Scriptures you've given with your peculiar interpretation are completely flawed. Please read them in the context that they're given & not what you want to them to say.

    Do you believe that sin can enter into heaven? And do you believe a person can be forgiven for committing blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?
