Jesus is Lord, the Word in flesh, a Divine Inspiration, and Manifestation of miracles that was born, lived, died, and resurrected in power. All so we could do greater things.

Hi all dear, now you all talk a lot again. When referring to Timothy about the treatment of church members, it does not agree with paying taxes to the Emperor / King / State. Romans 13 1 Timothy 6:10-12 ALvin Kamberi is right, and all. But The 10 commandments state the importance of what we should worship and honor. God Alone. God must have everything. Colossians 3:12-17 we have no reason to revel and wallow in the riches of the world. Not even Jesus did, though He could fully enjoy all the benefits of the world. He lived soberly and always worshiped God. Gethsemane as described in Luke 22:44 Then He strained so that he sweated blood.

But we must work with our hands

    Mark 12:17

Oh, as I wish we Christians could take care of each other, have daily conversations, have daily testimonies, have daily care for each other. Living in a collective. The model was and lives as in the time of the Acts of the Apostles. We have this web then which is a little skin of the real life we should have had :) So I thank you all every day. The apostles sold everything they had and gave to the needy. New members were added daily! Acts 2

:D In English we say woman and man. I hold that all men stand before God in truth as a Spirit with Him.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

This is an important strategist in how we should live. At that time, it was probably not men's work and women's work that we like and talk about today. We did not come to the hospital to give birth. Even then, they were equal. But then of course the evil came! Take care of yourself, and do not accept what is free, it can be dangerous.

ohh the space again :D, Jesus loves u all.

You are gods, plural. It's written on the word of God . There is only One GOD Jesus said I AmThe bred of LIFE whosoever who believe in me sahl have Eternal LIFE. GOD IS SPIRIT ... The ONLY ONE WHO Has IMORTALity in Himself By His nature, He answered Moises , I AM WHAT I AM. Jesus was acused by his felow men for acting and speaking as GOD, and revealed to John in Apocalypse thsat Jesus is the Alfa and Omega.

The Bible teaches, that GOD can give Imortality to whom HE wiches, and Jesus said the He wil ressurect all who accept Him as GOD's SON, on the last day, when Jesus shall return in Glory to give His reward.

Jesus said :- Let the dead put the dead ones in the grave, you come and follow me

jesus teaches us who accept Him as the Begotten Son OF GOD, tha we wil have imortality, being like the angels of GOD. The diference is that only GOD is worthy of Adoration. The angel on apocalypse 19 .10 declined being adored saying to John that He should instead Adore only GOD. How Great Is GOD! He is LOVE and LIGHT and LIFE, it wil take us all eternity to know WHO GOD Is and stil, it's writen on the Bible that He IS Wonderfull and we can relate and love Him, but He wil remain Wonderful for ever and ever more eternaly. The point i'm trying to bring to our attention is that extraordinary truth from Jesus own lips , that we may receive imortaslity through eating His flesh and drinking His blood, receiving His Spirit by faith on Him and the wonderful work of God transforming our mind to be like Jesus's mind as man amongst us. salvation is the bigest God's Miracle, by His Mercy and Jesus Faith as man and GOD's SON, when we accept Him as our personal savior and Master and Commander until the end of times and to die for ourselves and that He might live in us by His Spirit. men!

Hebrews 11 is a lot of people known by God who were recorded as doing great things by Faith. Samson was one of those. His mother had trouble conceiving also. He had a purpose to accomplish with his life:

God created you for a higher purpose

In the biblical book of Judges (chapters 13-16) we meet Manoah and his wife, a couple who were unable to have children until God intervened in their situation. More than that, God placed a special calling on their soon-to-be-born son, Samson, even before he had been knit together in his mother's womb.

Samson was handpicked by God to liberate God's people. Samson grew up knowing God's will for his life. His parents made sure he heard the story of how he had been chosen by God before he was born. His marching orders were made clear by the angel of the LORD who had visited his parents. Moreover, God gave him supernatural strength, so Samson had everything he needed to deliver God's people, Israel, from the oppressive hands of the Philistines (see Judges 13:5).

God chose you, and gave you a purpose before you were even born. When God created heaven and earth, he knew that one day you would find yourself right where you are at this moment. You have been created in the image of God, and you were made for a purpose.

It is totally Biblical to pray for your unborn child. God called unborn babies to be prophets for Him.

So tell her I said she is carrying a very special child. It marks a baby in such a good way to read Children's Bible stories to them. They learn the real world, and not fairy tLes.

    Gods blessing on you, Mishael

Beloved "Fred", i totally agree with you let us walk wisely, seeking to search and speak the Word of God.

Colossians Chapter 1, And forgive each other's sins, then they are forgiven. When we talk about the unforgivable sin: Are you right: And speaking against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable sin. Who can speak against? Hebrew 6:4 6:5 6:6 Hebrew 10:26-39

So we can think, do I? Do not hope so, then my work will be in vain. And i deliver up with my conscience what i have received from the Lord. Does He throw me then? Out of future hope of dwelling in heaven?

No He has infinite love, angels patience. 70 times 7 is a Heavenly number. Christians will not sin against the Holy Spirit, we believe in the growth Is from the Holy Spirit.

Does the unforgivable sin then lie in what a Christian can do? No.

Unforgivable sin is not receiving the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us. We can dream, we can see visions, we can have sensations of one thing and another in the Spirit.

BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT SPEAKS TO US, we hear so absolutely! He speaks directly to us. Who will not answer Him? He knows all. We know it when the Lord speaks to us who are Christians. Secret: Patience!

It's worse with the others who are outside. Repent and be Baptized.

It is not possible for a Christian at all to sin against the Holy Spirit, then He speaks against us and Himself. What kind of man or woman would throw away the one he has received from God? Then it must be in a state of illness where you do not know what u do. I think it's called psychosis today. Do you not think the Lord can stand against all things!

We are to rest in His Goodness, go to bed and sleep in it, knowing that He has taken control of our lives. So Good God help us all and get the freedom assured and never have distrust of Your Word or Your calling. My help comes from Heaven from God Himself, Jesus Christ who knows how to care for me, my friends, my loved ones. I put my trust in Him.

Repent and be Baptized, in Jesus name. Luke 1

Everything God created is awesome ! Dogs r highly intelligent , affectionate creatures . They r used by us as helpers in so many ways , guide dogs for blind people , police dogs , detector dogs for drugs and other chemicals , they can even detect a dead and buried body . Nothing that God created isn't beautiful .

I'm with Ronald Whittemore on this , thanks Ron for your explanation . To you Vanessa , I think that u were correctly instructed , however , I urge into read the whole Bible for yourself rather than take any of our words for it . The Bible is for every one and the more u read the more u understand , read it all , not just the New . The Old is an excellent illuminator of the New . May God bless your efforts .

Hello Quentin. As you continue to read in John chapter 10 ( John 10:22-39), you will find that the Jews wanted to enact the Law of stoning for anyone who commits blasphemy (v33); and that Law is found & enacted in Leviticus 24:10-23.

And again the Jews wanted to kill Jesus because of His further claim to divinity ( John 10:34-39). At the first, Jesus claimed that He & His Father God are One (v30) and at the second, Jesus said that He is the Son of God (v36). Both are strong claims that He & God are One in Essence & Purpose. If Jesus had just said that God had sent a special Prophet to bring God's Word to the people, He might have not been hounded as He was - but then Jesus would have lied to save His Skin, which He could never do. But even before His accusers, He remained faithful to His Father & to His Divinity in the Godhead.

The Jews constantly schemed to rid themselves of this Jesus, but Jesus' time had not arrived for His death for mankind's sins. But when they finally accused Jesus for His Claim of being God's Son ( John 19:7), they would have been extremely satisfied when Pontius Pilate finally acceded to their demand ( John 19:16) & ordered His Crucifixion. The Jews finally got rid of this Man who searched their hearts & accused them in their innermost being. Their position & wicked hearts were no longer under Divine Inspection for now, but their sin remained, as Jesus told Pilate, "he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin" (v11).

Dear "Dwight" yes really, In the preface to Luke we learn: Explained to me today that Luke is a disciple of Paul. Until now, I have believed and perceived Luke as Jesus' disciple. Gonna tell you things become obvious in their time! Good luck with the reading, and notice that the Words stay in you. God bless you and yours. Stay in the Word and the Word stays in you, Jesus loves you. Be blessed in His Holy Name, love you in Christ. Chapter 1 Luke

You may have heard, and can see for yourself, that dog spelled backwards is god. It's unfortunate that you have such disdain for one of God's creatures that demonstrates unconditional love and provides comfort to those who need it and seek it. Saying that dogs are a distraction who offer no value may be true for you but is not universally accepted. Your neighbors may prefer the company of their dogs since they are loyal to them and will not abandon them simply because they do not like others with whom they spend their time (which seems to describe your attitude). It is kind of you to reach out to your neighbors in a caring and supportive way. However, there are countless people who do not have humans who regularly engage with them on a personal level and the companionship offered by a pet is a meaningful relationship which provides them with purpose and love.

Oops Kay, I got the name wrong.

My oldest son is almost 38. He had a time during his college years and 20's where he was depressed. But he finally got a job in his field of computer science and has been very happy with that. He has increasingly had improvement on his emotional and mental state. We praise God for that! He just got married last fall to a Muslim woman. She is very sweet and kind. She is from a foreign country so could only be here in U.S. for three months and had to go back home until she gets another three month VISA. She left Jan. 1st. My son is leaving in a week to spend a month with her. We are praying that she will be able to come back with him with a new VISA. We are praying for her to have an open heart to hear the truth about Jesus and convert to Christianity. We pray that the Holy Spirit will regenerate both of them and bring them to faith in Jesus.

I know that this is long, so I thank you for bearing with me. I still have grief but I do remember to give my sons to God over and over again as I wait for His answers that I trust will be the best for my sons. Thank you for your concern. So many believers face the issue of their children falling away from the faith they once embraced. The draw of the world is so strong on these generations. So many have children who have mental problems and addictions. It is really sad that this has happened to persons who grew up in a believing household and church environment. I know that it isn't given to me to understand all of this and through it all I have found that, indeed there is a time for tears and a time for rejoicing, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing (because they are unwilling and closed off), a time to mourn, etc. But God never fails. We consecrated each of our sons to God as infants. We are waiting for the fullness of God's work in them.

Thank you so much Suze. When two of my sons became vey depressed after 9/11 and then gradually turned away from faith in God, my heart was so grieved. I cried so much and prayed amidst the tears. At one point I prayed. "Lord Jesus, I know that You love my sons more than I ever could and that You are at work in their lives 24/7 and I cannot do that, so I give them up to You and know that You hear my prayers and will answer in such a good way. These sons of mine are Your children and You do wish to save them, so I am trusting You to return them to You."

That has been my prayer and attitude for 21 years. I am praying and waiting on the Lord's answer. I look forward to the time when all of my sons will love and serve Jesus. So, I have much hope! But in the mean time, it is hard to see them suffer.

One of my sons has tried to work as a teacher but gets so mentally anxious and depressed that he has had to go on medical leave both times and not return. This time (this school year) was his second attempt as a teacher. He is now on leave and finally realizes that teaching is not best for him. Bummer that he got a master's in education and will not be using it but will be paying his loans for a long, long time. I am praying for God to lead him into a better career that will not affect him so adversely, that God will heal his mental condition, regenerate him once again and bring to him a lovely believing wife. He is 31.

My second son has been depressed most of the time since he was 14. Unlike my younger son mentioned above, he does not seek treatment. He is now living with us once again. We are happy to have him here. We are reconnecting in some good ways. But he is not very open with us. I pray that He will get treatment that will help him overcome depression disorder as God delivers him. I pray that he will move into a career that can sustain him to be on his own. I pray that God will regenerate him once again and bring to him a lovely believing wife. He is 34

Dear Lynn, I am sorry that things are so hard for you right now. It sounds like you have endured much grief and sorrow. If someone you loved committed suicide, then that is so hard to address. If so, it is important to release that person to God and His perfect judgment. Worrying about someone's eternal place robs us of the comfort and peace of trusting God. I hope you can heal from what has happened and I will pray for you tonight.

Dear heavenly Father, Lynn is so tired and tried by all that has been allowed to happen in her life and in the life of those she loves, She is in need of Your strengthening and peace. Please shower her with these and with the abundance of Your grace and mercy. Fill her heart with good thoughts and emotions that build her up. Your Holy Spirit can do this. We ask You, Holy Spirit to fill Lynn up with Your presence and gracious care. Overflow her heart with joy amidst trials and steadfastness in her faith. Uplift Lynn's soul and bring good into her life at this time. Stop all of the hurtful and negative things from happening in her life. She needs relief that only You can provide. Bring her relief. Surround her with Your protection and power so that the enemy will be thwarted and kept from her. We ask these things in the name of Your Son, Jesus, our wonderful Savior and Lord of all. Amen.

Your conclusion on taxes is utterly false. Christians pay taxes to whatever government is in authority on earth with whatever earthly money they mint under their authority that bears their image and inscription.

God is Spirit and has placed His image and inscription (His word) in our hearts not on any earthly money made by man's hands. Therefore we render our souls and worship to God and cannot render that to Ceasar or his money (or any other earthly government's leaders or money).

Joseph submitted to being registered to pay taxes at Ceasar's decree and only in so doing returned to the city of his ancestral inheritance in Israel under Moses fulfilling God's decree that Mary would give birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. I have no doubt that Mary would have given birth in Bethlehem once she received the angel announcing Christ would be conceived of the Holy Spirit in her womb. But her submission to Joseph who submitted to both angelic dreams and the lawful decree of Ceasar was absolutely critical to Joseph being remembered as having his place in the Gospel.

Law; we are told in verses 1-4 that the law is the Ten Commandments written in stone, this law binds a marriage until the partner dies, then in verse 4 ew are told we have become dead to the law, meaning the Ten Commandments in stone. Now in :6 we are delivered from the Ten Commandments in stone, and this law has died, again in :4 we are dead to the law, but in :6 the law is now dead. The Apostle Paul states the reason is for the Christian to obey the Ten Commandments in the heart, he calls this serving in the spirit. Notice, our human spirit obeys the Ten Commandments written in the heart, and this is called serving God. Yet we cannot serve God from the Ten Commandments written in stone, why not someone may ask, the reason is that we have died to that law, and that law has also died to us. Then in :7 he specifies the law we are delivered from in :6 and the law that is now dead in :6 is the law in :7 that teaches THOU SHALT NOT COVET.

    Hey Vanessa,

The word Godhead is in the KJV three times.

Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's. Godhead, os theios, meaning godlike, divine, divinity.

We see this same word in 2 Peter 1:3-4 translated divine, referring to an attribute of God, not to God Himself.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Godhead, , theiots meaning divinity, divine nature, theiotes has same meaning as theios.

Colossians 2:8-9 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead. bodily. theotes meaning deity.

My understanding, and I'm sure I am in the minority here; it refers to God's and Jesus's divine characteristics and nature. The word Godhead is used in conversation and discussion, referring to the trinity creed that I do not agree with. The divinity of Jesus the only begotten Son of God cannot be questioned. He is the beginning of creation and through Him all that is, Colossians 1:15-1 but there is many scriptures that does not support this creed.

I could post more but I hope you can use this in your study for your own understanding, not mine. Pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

    God bless,

    RLW

    Hi Richard

You mentioned Christ as the second Adam.( 1 Cor 15:45) If Jesus is the second Adam and is also God then the first Adam also had to be God.

They are both called the son of God. One was successful the other wasn't.

Alvin, see my response to Kay.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
Amen Kay. Well said. It is those who work and get paid who support the mission and work of the church to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations. Those who are married and have children have a responsibility to provide for their children with food, shelter, and necessities. It is not the governments job to do this, nor other Christians. If one is single, they are responsible to work and be paid in order to supply their needs. There is nothing wrong with living in a house or apartment. But these cost money. If someone wishes to have stable housing, they should work and get paid for their work in order to pay the rent/mortgage and all other expenses to provide for their daily needs. Expecting others to provide for your needs when you refuse to work is like stealing the labors of another. It is taking advantage of the grace and providence of God. It is presumptuous, which is a sin. Panhandling and begging when one is able to work but does not is also stealing from others labors. If you live in a modern, industrial society, one will need to work to provide for themselves. If one lives in a country where someone can live by subsistent means, growing their own food and bartering for goods, then a salary is not part of their economy, but they still need to work and produce something of value to barter.

Alvin, as Kay has pointed out from Scripture, the Bible does not teach us not to work, or have money to use for our care. Nor does it teach that it is sinful to be rich, but it does say that coveting is sinful. So if someone is jealous, envious, bitter, or thinking that someone who is rich must be made to share his wealth, that is all coveting behaviors. We are to be content in the situation we find ourselves in, but it is advisable to work to improve your economic circumstances so that you can better provide for your family and have some extra to help others.
