Dear "RALPH", On youtube you can find good teaching on the subject because it is not done at all in a jiffy.

I understand that the situation is exhausting and without sincerity in the case it probably will not work. These are strong forces. A lot of it is required for forgiveness because it is the mother and fathers' sin, they struggle with. They do not even know why their lives have become as they are. Homosexuals are ignorant.

I probably would not have said that a year ago, but now I do after hearing Derek Prince on youtube.

God bless us all with wisdom in His Son Jesus, love u in Christ. 1 John chapter 2 and 3.

I'm in agreement with the other respondents to you, that it was Luke, the author of the Gospel, that wrote the Book of Acts. We learn this from both Luke 1:1 and Acts 1:3,4.

In Acts, Luke is referring back to the Gospel, where he wrote the letter (Gospel) to Theophilus giving him instruction: "That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed" ( Luke 1:4). It seems that Theophilus was not only well known to Luke, but that he was also quite high up in the Roman hierarchy (we see the word "excellent" also used by Claudius Lysias, the chief captain, when addressing Governor Felix, in Acts 23:25,26). This usage indicates a person of high position & the interaction Luke has with Theophilus shows, not only a close acquaintance between the two, but possibly that Theophilus had more than just a passing interest in the Promise & Coming of the Messiah. God had His witnesses at the right places, & by a few folk, many heard the Gospel & must have been challenged greatly in their hearts.

You're right "Marke" , it's awful. That way we also go out on the time of His return. Because He must find those who are willing. Those who can do what He has predetermined. There must be doctrines for those who are not yet enlightened.

So here the believers can do a lot of good. Encourage and give birth to children in the family. 1 woman and 1 man. Do not have intercourse before marriage. The men are not without responsibility here. Of course, two people are needed. So there must be agreement. Rape is not from the Lord. In schooling, at home, young people learn good values. Like and serve God.

In the Muslim world it is forbidden, so children grow up in time and out of time. New legislative changes from each country must come into play. This is not just America. But all over the world. But unfortunately, it's like in Noah's day.

God bless us all with heavenly wisdom, so this not happen in our own family.

Stay blessed in His Holy Name Jesus, love u in Christ. 1 John 2 and 3 Chapter.

Dear "MARY L GUILFORD" Yes it's true what you say. The apostle John writes about not loving the world. 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

I received these words today, so I'm sure I did not plan this. Each and every one has his service to God. Also in a church with pictures. For everything depends on what we do with the images, they get bigger and get more attention than Jesus Christ, we know it is not from the good.

Be Blessed Sister 1 John 2:13-14

In the name of Jesus Christ, love you in Christ.

Thank you very much "Mary Bruce" it is true, I have read in 1 John 2:13-14 important words in an evil world to. In the verses before the Apostle writes about the antichrist who was already active in the world, 2010 years ago, or about.

Stay blessed in our Jesus Christ holy name He loves you.

    Genesis 19:4-11

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Homosexuality is not a good thing, although so many in the world around us insist it is. They are deceived and their support for wickedness will not end well for them.

Most people think Acts was written by Luke, Paul's traveling companion on many of his trips and work within churches Paul founded and established. It is believed Luke was a physician and therefore, well-educated.

The right thing is to pray (and ask things for) to Father God in the name of Jesus Christ.

As far as names of God are concerned you must know that every name God has has the purpose to show us a God's characteristic

So Sabaoth means Lord of Armies or powers that is the Powerful God, Eloheim means God . Adonai means Lord. Jehovah or Jahve probably means the existing God and so on . God used his names to reveal Himself to people especially in the Old Testament. Thus God's names have a discriptional purpose, they have nothing magic which when you say the Heavens open to you

The name of God in New Testament is Father, because we are reborn by God who becomes not only our God but our Father as well. God is not father to all people no matter who they are or what they believe but He is Father to reborn christians. And that is done by the Spirit of God . John 3:1-8

Hi Ralph, I too believe that people are not born homosexual. Somewhere along the line the evil one used people, ideas, and such to pervert one's sexual desires from what God created us to be. I have three sisters that are lesbians. They say, (after decades of being in this lifestyle) that they were born this way. Saying this allows homosexuals to escape somewhat from the conviction of the Holy Spirit in their conscience that their lifestyle is sinful. It allows them to have a more "settled" heart which they admitted to me was continually at unrest causing them much emotional pain and mental anguish. Saying that they were born that way puts the onus back onto God for creating them this way, thus relieving their consciences from constant guilt.

Just as Daniel pointed out from Romans chapter 1; Scripture is plain that homosexuality is a perversion of what God's design for love and sexuality. It is a very difficult lifestyle to repent of and turn away from once one begins to practice it and engage in homosexual relationships. It is a deep-seated deception that" goes to the core of one's self-perception. To turn from homosexuality requires a "death" of whom one has come to believe themselves to be. This is often insurmountable for many to overcome without the work of the Holy Spirit and a bending of the will to God's way. To re-order ones sense of self and lifestyle and relationships involving friends(who most of the time are also homosexuals) and lovers is so very difficult.

We ought to pray for those we know in this lifestyle and keep on praying, interceding for them often, and we ought to tell them the truth from God's Word and assure them of our love for them despite their sinful lifestyle. But, it is such a trial for a parent to bear. Many Christian parents relinquish what they know God's Word determines on this to accepting this lifestyle in their child, convincing themselves that their child was indeed born this way. But this really is not productive.

    Hi Wendy,

Pray to "God" there is only 1 God, and he knows who he is!

    Ephesians 4:6

"One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray he responded:

    Luke 11:2

"And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth."

Jesus asks us to pray to the God the Father, in His Jesus name:

    John 16:23

"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."

    God Bless.

Hello Mello. Yes, we see this declaration by the apostle in 1 Timothy 1:19,20 and 1 Corinthians 5:1-7. What Paul was doing, was to use Church discipline to identify & weed out those amongst them that were found to be involved in gross sin. In the first passage, Hymenaeus and Alexander were in some way affecting the Church with their blasphemous teaching. In the second, there was fornication evident in the Corinthian Church that was going unchecked & without the required discipline & correction.

When sin is evident in the Body of believers (the Church), there has to be a quick response, as it not only shames the Lord Who purchased her, but also invades & affects the whole lump (the Church), slowly destroying the faith of many. Paul, in these instances, said that the only action that should be taken when there was a refusal to repent of these sins, was to "deliver them to Satan", or, 'cast them out of the assembly, refuse them fellowship, & put them back into the world that is Satan's area of influence & control'. Satan cannot be allowed to have access in Christ's Body & those toying with sin & also wanting Christian fellowship will never influence others for good & will eventually affect the whole. Unfortunately, Church discipline today is not the strongest point in many fellowships, & often blatant sin is either disregarded or addressed without necessary action.

    Psalm 139:13-16

    13 For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother's womb.

    14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    your works are wonderful,

    I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you

when I was made in the secret place,

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

    16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;

all the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be.

America is infected with tens of millions of unsaved heathen who very forcefully support the murder of innocent infants in the womb. These unsaved savages are wicked. The Bible says the wicked are like the troubled sea...

    Isaiah 57:20

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

The wicked will not stand in the coming judgment of God when He returns to earth to judge His enemies.

    Romans 1:18-27

    18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

No one was ever born homosexual. Even youth exposed to fornication, pornography and other perversions will cause one to believe this. They'd worship the creature and not the Creator (God) and for this cause God gave them over as they are of a reprobate mind. The only cure is to be born again ( Ephesians 2:8-10)
  • Daniel - In Reply - 3 years ago
Romans chapter 1, the Apostle Paul.explains that this and what the cause is for one to act such a way. To be clear, no one is born that way and Romans 1 should clear up any confusion.

I went online to do a search "Bible verses about relationships" and got several good lists. There is a lot online that would be helpful.

A lot of what is written in the Bible is about marriage because God's goal is the marriage of Jesus to His church. However, there is also a great deal written about how we should relate to God and one another.

I would like to recommend eSword, a free to download and keep Bible study tool with many translations and commentaries. I read Lev 20 in it and read the commentary by David Guzik. That chapter is about Israel's relationship to God and avoiding idolatry and sexual impurities for men and women. These impurities are about dishonesty in our relationship to God. (Plus God gave us these rules to live by for our bodily health; another discussion entirely. His plans for us are well integrated.)

We all suffer from the pulls of the flesh although there are different pulls for every individual. They all divert us from seeking a relationship with God.

I hope that my post can be a starting point for your further studies.

Thank you Roman for your kind words. However, any thing I have that is wise and good to hear is not mine to claim, but from the LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself. Glory and honor goes to the LORD at all times.

It's always good to hear other view points on any subject matter as it pertains to Scripture. May we continue to seek God's glory and praise at all times. Any thing with hallucinogens in it would have compounded the already existing problem of sin. Ezekiel knew what was at stake and would have taken the proper steps to remain "kosher" in his preparation of the bread. Chp 4: 14-17

Have a good day Roman, may the LORD shine His face on you and yours.

Hello, sorry to respond so late. I'm a Christian, i have been a believer since 1974. I don't feel we as believers in Christ ought to crumble under the agenda of those bent on destroying our constitution of the US. This political correctness gets to the point of stupidity when we bleep the Bible. Some in Ohio say we shouldn't say hello because it has hell in it. I heard it was said Jesus' name should be illegal to say in public because it is a dangerous name to use, that was Canada. Yes His name is dangerous to devils because we cast out devils in His name. Oh, a d since when is a natural act of going to the bathroom a curse word. Americans like to put a punch behind words so we have some that we have been told are "bad words". Are they different if we use poop, dung, feces, or any other ones describing the same act. Oh and my Webster encyclopedia has only 1 definition for "crap" it says crap is "buckwheat". So when did buckwheat become a bad word? Makes one think. Were parents trying to make us "proper" or were they a little ignorant because of schools?

You are wrong because you follow the tradition of men, and not after Christ according to the scriptures of Colossians 2:8

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." you deceive the world because of the tradition of men who are philosophers or theologians who don't follow after Christ. There is no such thing about Christianity, Theology, and Trinity literally found and written in the King James Version Holy Bible Edition 1611 not even as in the scrolls and manuscripts of Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic languages of the Holy Scriptures Book.

    2 Peter 1

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

    Revelation 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
