It's something that requires a serious lifelong commitment and even if we read the Bible every day for many years we won't ever know everything about it but I think that's a good thing . It's the fact that there is always something new to learn that helps to keep me interested and focussed and wanting to read it every day .

What I meant was if Romans means that we are all kept from the wrath of the entire Tribulation; then all believers are raptured beforehand. If this is true; we also need to warn against having works burn up and "making it as though through the fire" and having no reward. That could mean also literally being taken through the Tribulation fire because we were "foolish virgins"; but again I can see arguments both ways on that. In any event; predestination makes up the whole framework in Revelation as to ALL who worship the Beast taking the Mark. There is also the concept of some escaping judgment and others being saved THROUGH it; at least from failing in their faith. Backing up my theory here; we see those like Lot barely escaping; and the 3 wise men with Daniel where people went through the fire and weren't hurt; and those such as Daniel Himself; and Abraham from afar witnessing the events; along with Elijah who could be an analogy to those raptured out of trouble (and Elisha who didn't want to think about these things and those with him that insisted on looking for Elijah's body afterwards being like those foolish virgins left behind). Just a thought...

Elihu was like John the Baptist, preparing the way of the Lord who came in the final chapters of the book. God did not rebuke Elihu and once Elihu had finished preparing the way for the Lord he disappeared from the record. John the Baptist said, "He must increase and I must decrease." Once the Lord had entered John the Baptist and Elihu were no longer needed.

In the year Uzziah died Isaiah saw the Lord in a light he had never seen Him before, seeing himself in a new brighter light, causing him to repent in a way he have never before done. Christians should desire to see Jesus in a brighter light than before also, giving them greater appreciation for the Lord than they had before.

I haven't looked at these passages in some time; although it was my favorite book as a new believer. You are probably right; although chapter 7 shows the INITIAL sealing of these 144,000 probably AFTER the martyred souls of the fifth seal are seen UNDER the altar. I had thought originally that the multitude was those who were witnessed to; but it seems another option makes more sense. It isn't popular; but I believe that most of the initial martyrs are believers who are left behind. This takes into account the warnings in Luke and Revelation 3 about being worthy to escape what is coming to pass on the whole earth. Not every believer has their garments pure and unspotted as Ephesians 3 seems to indicate; and thus it would seem that those who HAVE garments are believers that need it purified by being put "through the fire" as it were. I understand the emphasis on us being saved from wrath; but we also have to take into account that people are saved during the Tribulation who are saved from the DIRECT wrath in the bowls. Also the seals are opened by Christ Himself; and Antichrist Himself is a "strong delusion" but meant to deceive those who don't LOVE the truth. (sorry for all the shouting). One thing for sure-not everyone who thinks that they are "rapture ready" or even truly saved at present will make the rapture; but a subset of those may be later. There is the obvious danger of using that theory to put off now walking in Christ.

Anyway; Rev. 14 shows that at some point (probably close or synonomous with the translation of the 2 witnesses) the 144,000 appear at the throne (not under it as I thought at first) hence they are in a sense raptured. They are; after all part of the "firstfruits". As to the multitude; the time frame is a bit hard to get-it may be the end of the Church age to allow the Jews to witness during the time of Jacob's trouble; or signify an event AFTER the 144,000 preach. Nice just to talk about this; as most have fallen asleep.

I don't believe the NT gives instructions as to how to properly observe the OT Sabbath if that is important.

I do not believe baptism is a necessary requirement for salvation.

How many times in a day can a Christian be forgiven for committing the same sin, three? Or three thousand?

    Matt. 18

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Gbu Grae...God sees everything...There is always a warfare between that which is born of the spirit and that which is born of the FLESH...Remember the dragon wanted to kill the woman that had given birth to the manchild that is gonna rule All nations...The Woman is humanity as the field is the world where the good seed will be sown...In mankinds hearts...Thus multiplication in the Spritual realm...That was the great Promise that Christ will be multiplied as the stars of heaven...But satan the red dragon hated the woman that had given birth to the manchild. Which is a perfect picture of multiplication in the spiritual realm...Her seed etc....impling her Children via the seed of Christ...Unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil Child ..Which is the H.G that Child of Promise...God Almighty's great Promise of multiplication of Christ SEED...But we see certain folks that wanna kill this doctrine of multiplication...Just as certain folks wants Kill any doctrine of multiplication of God Almighty...Even tho it was God Almighty that swore by his very self that Christ was gonna be mulltiplied as the stars of heaven...The dragon hated the woman that given birth to the manchild which is the H.G. that Child of PROMISE.

......Thats y the sower of that good seed will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity..That we might birth a baby Christ...Thats y he always refers to himself as the Son of Man...Mankinds fruit unto God...The Woman was caught up to God and to his throne...but the Dragon was cast out to the earth...But Rev. 12 : 10 The Angel says now is come salvation and the Kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ...Her baby ...Which are the babes and sucklings his Children ..Spirits...The H.G. the Children of PROMISE....There is gonna be war in heaven but the WOMAN WITH CHILD WINS...GBU GRAE...I 'm praying for you in Jesus name.

    Hi Gigi.

Thanks for replying! sorry for my delay in responding, I also have been mostly only checking in from time to time and picked up on some unfinished projects at the house.

Concerning the notion that we all will become Gods and birth the Holyspirit is a dangerous heresy in my opinion.

I agree with you 100 percent on everything you said!

That doctrine is a dangerous doctrine to hold.

And the hermeneutics he uses is also dangerous, He spiritualize everything to bend scripture to his views.

What's so dangerous is some things are allegory and types, but when you spiritualize EVERYTHING those treasures get lost and so do the truth, you're left without out Gods devine word and left with speculation and perspectives!

I debated with him about a year and a half ago. This is what I've learned.

His base doctrine derives an flawed interpretation of Exodus 3:13-15.

    "Here's his interpretation;

He says this text says God's "name" is Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

He disregard the I AM THAT I AM in vs 14.

He says this is a picture of the Trinity. ( Israel ) and he says the seed shall come though them. Christ.

But he says the church is spiritual Israel and that seed "Christ" is planted in us and we birth the Holyspirit.

This is another example of someone shaping their theology around a viewpoint and bending scripture to support it.

A year and a half ago he was presenting this but cautiously.

After the debate focusing on Exodus 3:14. he left the site for about 4 months and just returned about 2 weeks ahead of you. He would post sparingly but we paid him not much attention and the newbies ignored his strange doctrine.

Now he's the boldest he has ever been!!

I was saddened when he left the first time and asked about him.

When he came back I was happy to hear from him but later understood he held that same doctrine.

I decided not to give him Godspeed.

    God bless you sister Gigi.

A person gets saved by Believing in Jesus Christ, being baptized and repenting from sin. You seem to be forgetting the last part - Repenting from Sin!

Jesus tells the adulteress to "sin no more" and the cripple that He healed " to sin no more or something worse will happen to you."

    John 8:11

"She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

    John 5:14

"Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."

A Christian is a Christ Follower, we are to listen to Jesus and follow Him- just as He also followed His Father. God's Commandments are good, and they guide good Christians as we follow Christ, and they help us to refrain from sin.

If and when we sin, we can pray and ask God for forgiveness in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. Christ died for our sins, he DID NOT die so that we can keep sinning! Big Difference!

    Hi Steise.

My understanding concerning wisdom as a Feminine noun is meant for one to hold wisdom as something very special and to be sought after.

    Proverbs 1:3-7.

    Proverbs 4:5-13.

    God bless.

    Marke,

This simple scripture spoken by Jesus is so POWERFUL and easily separates his sheep - from the rest of the worldly flocks.

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

We have the choice, we either Love Him - or we don't!

Christ's union with believers is described as similar to the union between a husband and wife. "They two become one flesh." Paul said that in his flesh dwelleth no good thing. Apart from Christ dwelling in them, Christians cannot be good or do good because there is only one good who is God.

Sinners can become possessed by the devil but if they do not become possessed by the Holy Spirit they shall never enter heaven.

    Luke 11:24-26

    King James Version

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Tee Gray on 1 Peter 2- Read Hebrews 13 chapter. You need a good man of God (pastor/elder) that is an example & leader, a doer of the word not just say it. There are many scriptures that relate to what you ask, follow Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Geri GBU but you are not thinking in the Spritual Realm...Have ya neva read that we are gonna be married to God...And you know what a Marriage is its when 2 ppl are made 1...We are gonna be made 1 with God... Matthew 22 : 2 ...Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a great King that made a marriage for his Son...Thus we will be made 1 with God...See thats not hard to understand if we are gonna be married to God then we are gonna be made 1 with God...When Jesus said the Kingdom OF GOD is gona be with in you...there is no way we cannot be made GODS if the KINGDOM OF GOD IS GONA BEWITH IN US...Remember when Jesus spat on the ground and made clay of his spittal...He made his word ( his spittal ) one with the ground...The ground being humanity...As man is of the earth earthly...and anointed the eyes of the blindman with that clay His spittal ( his words ) ...He made a marriage of his Word and the earth... John 9 : 6 kjv...When Jesus said to whom the word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken...He knew he was gonna be married to humanity...Thats y John the bap. said he that has the bride is the bridegroom....John knew that Jesus was gona be marrried to humanity...MAKING THEM ONE...And Jesus is God the son.

.....Geri there are over 20 scriptures in the bible telling us of a marriage of God with humanity....As God so loved the world that he gave us his only Son...A new covenant saying I will know them ALL...From the least to the greatest...Thats everybody...And this know them All is an intimacy...he has to know us...That is gonna result in a birth of Christ in us...The Son of Man...( Mankinds fruit unto God ) As Paul said in Romans 7 : 4 We must be Married to God and bring forth unto God...We cannot tear that outta of the bible...Thus we will truly be married to God, We are gonna be made 1 with God...Thats y the prophets were so amazed saying what manner of love has the Father bestowed up us...ThaT we should be called the sons of God..GBU

Hello Steise. Your first paragraph interested me & would seek clarification as to where you received that information. In my Hebrew Lexicon, 'Elohim' is a Masculine Noun; 'Shekinah' is a word not found in the Bible, neither associated with the Holy Spirit; and the 'Spirit' is a Feminine Noun, depicted as 'wind, breath, spirit', but 'Holy' is a Neuter Noun. In Greek, 'Spirit', is a Neuter Noun.

'Shekinah' was first used by Jewish Rabbis in the inter-testamental period, to show to the people various aspects of God. E.g God's Presence amongst His people ( Exodus 19:16-18); the Glory of God in the Temple ( 2 Chronicles 7:1); & how God dwells in the mountain ( Psalm 68:16-18) but was never found or used from their Scriptures.

But, you're correct, that 'wisdom' is a Feminine Noun, as nouns in Hebrew (& many other languages) were given a specific gender. Is my understanding incorrect with these words, in light of what you have stated & then further developed from them? If so, what reference are you using in sharing from the original languages?

And yes, the Bible is full of mysteries that we may never fully understand this side of Heaven, but we should enjoy what we do know & subsequently learn to appreciate the Gems given to us. When our foundational Truths are clear, we can then confidently build upon them.

I have not read the Scripture instructing Christians to observe Saturdays as the new Sabbath for Christians. You quote NT verses from the gospels and Acts in reference to the Sabbath, but when God turned from the Jews to the Gentiles we find only one verse in the rest of the Bible referring to the Sabbath, and you quoted it. Here it is in context:

    Colossians 2

    14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

    21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

The message to Christians is clear. You have been saved by the blood of Christ, who blotted out OT ordinances that were contrary to us, nailing them to the tree. Therefore, Christians should no longer imagine they are under some sort of obligation to fulfill OT laws such as washings, eating meats, observing holy days and sabbaths, or the like.

God chose 12 apostles for His purposes but He did not pick the purest of the pure when He did. You might could say He scraped the bottom of the barrel to select some of them.

Likewise, when the Church age comes to an end around the time of the tribulation, or time of Jacob's trouble spoken of in Jeremiah, God will select 12,000 believing Jews from each of the 12 tribes to live through the tribulation.

The OT is a record of God's dealing with and through the Jews. The NT Gospels are a record of Jesus coming unto His own and His own receiving Him not, also Jews, but not just Jews. The book of Acts records the birth of the Church and God's transitioning from dealings with Jews to dealings with Christians.

The Epistles are written to Christians and there is not a single admonition in the Epistles directing Christians to continue the OT ordinances of keeping Sabbaths.

The Jews sometimes violated the instructions given them when warring against the enemies of God but they did not violate the ten commandments by obeying God's instructions in fighting His enemies on earth.
