Then u have not submitted fully to God's Will for u . When we say : Thy Will be done , we have to mean it . Jesus was sinless . The Jewish leaders had no cause to kill him but they bent and twisted their law in order to kill him . Jesus didn't have to let them do that . He had power on earth to do anything that he wanted to do . He chose to submit to his Father's Will .That's what we as Christians r also supposed to do . It's not always easy for sure . But it's what we r called to .

This is a bit weird , in most languages an ass is a type of donkey , only in North America is it something else . In my Bible the word pisseth occurs a few times . We take turns in our Bible class , to read out verses from the chapter we are studying . So there are a few words that we have to read out that might make someone blush , but not us . We are all adults .

Dear "Bob", The truth is that there are three witnesses in Heaven.

It is the Spirit, the Water and the Blood. Or so: The Father, the Word and the Spirit are equal with Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:6-11 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Amen

Be blessed in His Holy Name Jesus, love u in Christ.

    An Encouragement in Christian Journey

Mark 9:41:- For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

Romans 16:13:- Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.

Who is this Rufus? Why do we consider him?

Rufus is the best example, the promise given by Jesus Christ himself is still in effect. Rufus is a Son of Simon a Cyrenian who bore Christ's cross for a while ( Mark 9:41, 15:21). It is the true and greatest joy for Simon a Cyrenian to know his Son found Christ and saved and has a notable place in Paul's Salute. ( 3 John 1:4)

Hi Sam, May Jesus bless you very much. I'm truly thankful for your faithful prayers, and particularly for praying for my mother also. Thank you.

My Nanma Margaret passed away peacefully on 6th March.

Our faithful Lord allowed me to see my beloved grandmother twice before she left.

Both my parents were able to see her also, and others from the family. Once we had all seen her, she passed in the very early hours of the next morning. I believe the Lord waited until we had all said our goodbyes.

I let my Nanma know there were people all over the world praying for her (with you and others here in mind). Your prayers have served to comfort and strengthen us during this difficult time, and I pray our Lord Jesus blesses you for the kindness you've shared with us. Thank you, Sam. I'm saying prayers for you also.

Thank you. I needed to hear encouragement to pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth , to listen to wait and rest, as I find myself getting caught up in needing answers 'now'. Thank you for the scripture references and encouragement to pray for others, and the reminder that God will protect his word.

    God bless you

Bible supports round earth. Calls it a circle: Isaiah 40:22

I've never met anyone who believes in flat earth who has travelled much, because travellers know that when you fly in one direction long enough you end up in the same starting point, because the earth is a sphere. People do this every day, so there's no mystery to it. You can also prove it by the sun setting in different times around the world. If it was flat the sun would set at the same time. Also you wouldn't have opposite seasons depending on which pole you're near. You can also just measure the shadow length and angle of a common item like a straw and be on the phone at the exact time as someone else measuring it on the opposite side of the earth. Obviously one side would be nighttime which already refutes the theory, but if it was day, the shadows are very different lengths. There's so much evidence suporting sphere earth that it's mind boggling why people can't even agree on that.

The Holy Spirit is Your Teacher

The desire for Jesus is in you already. The Bible is the Word of God. Like these following scriptures show us: with your own spoken words, ask the Holy Spirit to make His home within your heart, To be your Teacher. Thats his ministry to you. You will know He is teaching you. Open your mouth and speak: "Holy Spirit, come alongside and teach me what this passage means?"

Begin in the Gospels and stay in there until you know who Jesus is to you; what he likes; doesn't like; listen to his replies to people he met on his journeys.

    John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

    Luke 12:12

For the Holy Ghost shall TEACH you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

    2 Timothy 2:24

And the servant of the Lord must NOT strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, gentle

    1 Timothy 6:3-4

    If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRT

    Galatians 5: 22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

NOW we see through a glass, DARKLY, but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I AM KNOWN. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

God watches over His Word. We're going to meet people who oppose themselves. Sometimes more is accomplished by praying for them. Heartfelt prayer is always right. Jesus is interceding for US. King David was a man after Gods own heart. His prayers and Psalms will help you.

People's Bible Notes Commentary Ephesians 4:13

Till we all come. These offices are given in order that all may come to a goal that is named just below. They must be continued in some form until that goal is reached. In the unity of the faith. This is one of the great objects to be attained through these offices. Paul, as an apostle and a prophet, exhorts to the same end in Eph 4:2. As an apostle and prophets, he so exhorts still. Every evangelist and pastor who is under God's spirit should labor to the same end. Not only "unity of the faith", but unity of the knowledge of the Son of God is aimed at. Full unity of the faith will be found when all alike know Christ. Unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. "Unto a fullgrown man" (Revised Version). The second end to be attained is a noble manhood, fully developed, after the modes of life furnished in Christ Jesus. This must be the aim of all teaching, and of all living. If we cannot attain fully to it in the flesh, we certainly can aim at it and grow more and more into Christ's likeness.

    People's Bible Notes Commentary

    Hebrews 6:19

Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul. As an anchor holds the ship when the storms are raging, so this hope holds the soul steadfast. And which we enter into that within the veil. The veil was before the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle, but it was a type of heaven. Hence this means that the hope reaches to heaven. It is a heavenly hope.

I'm sure some others will come in later and give more light on your questions.

I searched Isaiah and couldnt find Omega, it is mentioned in the Book of Revelations; the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is mentioned only 4 times Rev 1:8,11; 21:6; 22:13. But both literally and in regards to God the Father. Means eternal. never-ending eternal life with Jesus. Omega is a math term as well as a molecular term meaning at the end. Hope this helps.

I am sorry to say, the answer is NO! you have to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and believe that Jesus died for you so you can go to live in God's Kingdom. Do you need help with some words to ask Jesus to accept you?
  • Danielle Abraham - In Reply on John 5 - 3 years ago
Good evening, my answer to you question is the significance to the describing of what John saw with his own eyes. He is describing God. God is the creation of fire. His glory is so bright that John fell at his feet and did die. Fine brass is another discription of God having the best strongest feet to stand against anything because He is King of Kings, He is mighty in all ways. Hope this helped you some. you know why John fell to his death right, because no man can go before God who has sin. After God laid His hand upon John his sins were cleansed.

Good evening, good question; how do you get over a past love? You replace that LOVE with Jesus' love for you and your love for Jesus. Pray without ceasing. 1 Thesolonians 5:17 2 corinthians 13:11-14. keep you eyes and ears upon Jesus and He wil guide you into a new life. Hope this helps you. Pray always morning noon and night. I do Bible study 3 times a week and in between I read and study. It's all about keeping yourself busy with the Lord.
  • Anointing With Oil - In Reply on Exodus 30 - 3 years ago
One of the most important things to know about anointing oil is that there is no power in the oil itself, but that the power is bestowed by GOD, and its intent is for HIS plans and purposes.

The oil is merely a natural substance that goes through a process of transformation into a Spiritual tool, using prayer to sanctify, consecrate, set it apart and make it holy unto GOD.

The Bible teaches us that the SPIRIT steps in during the act of anointing with oil, establishing GOD's objectives in a powerful way. Straight after Samuel anoints David as future king, 1 Samuel 16:13 tells us that "the SPIRIT of the LORD came mightily upon David from that day."JESUS himself describes it as such in Luke 4 verse 18: "The SPIRIT of the LORD is upon ME, because HE has anointed ME to preach the gospel to the poor.

Anointing with oil is an act of consecration, a setting apart of people, places and things for God's special purposes, making them Holy unto the Lord."Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. ( James 5:14)

Healing in conjunction with the application of anointing oil was also a directive from JESUS to HIS disciples in Mark 6 and a Spiritual weapon handed down to members of the early churches. While this custom was absent from the church for centuries, we are witnessing its comeback in modern times, with many testimonies of miraculous healing confirming that anointing oil, applied in faith, is symbolic of GOD's ability to deliver us from the claws of sin and disease.

Anointing as a sign of GOD's blessing was a regular occurrence in Biblical times, and as believers today, we don't need to limit ourselves in terms of when we may or should use anointing oil. When JESUS died for our sins the temple veil tore, granting anyone who does so in HIS NAME unlimited, unrestrained access to GOD. Being in the presence of the ALMIGHTY is what HE longs for and what we need most in this world.

My question is, are you married to this man? Is he your husband?
  • Danielle Abraham - In Reply - 3 years ago
good evening, my question is what kind of discussion are you looking for. My personal thought is the many things you have listed have one common ground. These are all sins. God forbids these sins but Jesus gives us a chance to repent and intercess for us because God knows we are all born of sin yet He loves us that much that He gave His only one and true begotten Son to die for us. Christians? not sure what question you are reffering to, could you clarify this a bit more? God bless.

It quite literally is impossible for the Earth to be flat. Flat earthers attempt to twist scripture out of context.

    Here are a few:

Matthew 4:8 Job 28:24 Job 37:3 and quite often Revelation 7:1 the four corners of the earth.

Simply an old sailors myth? Afraid the ships would fall off of the earth when the horizon line was reached. Fortunately, they just kept sailing and it never happened.

We know that science changes daily but physics plays a large role in your question.

If the earth were flat would different regions be experiencing different seasons? Winter, summer.

Do planes fly around the earth or do they go one way and then have to turn around to get back. Satellites orbiting. Different views of stars. Is New York city seen from hundreds of miles away. If the earth is flat what's on the other side. If the flat what satellite image shows the "thin ends" or sides of the earth.(its a globe, sphere, round, spinning) No NASA didn't photoshop every single image.

Let's dig in and pray fervently for the world right now. Should you feel burdened to do so. We are a few bad decisions away from seeing a "flattened earth" if you follow.

How wonderful is it to Not know all of the workings and mysteries of God.

Hopefully this helped in some manner.

Proverbs 10:31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

the froward tongue speaks against the truth Jesus' truth so therefor it will be cut out on judgement day most likely. Froward mean to be habitually disposed to disobedience or opposition to any kind of truth written in the Bible or against God's comandments.

I was taught in the original language, that

Man means both man and woman.

    "woman-means man with a womb"

    Mankind, means men and women.

I welcome comment on that per the Hebrew language that Moses used.

Curious as to who "you" is. In this forum, KJV bible, it uses the word "ass." To whom is your comment directed?

I understand your point of adding to or taking away from.

Hope that you have a blessed day today!

When you bleep out words in the Bible like, ass, you make it seem like God was swearing. People can look it up in the dictionary if they don't know what an ass is. Why make the world think God was using bad language and YOU corrected Him? You are taking words out of the Bible and woe unto you!

    Leviticus 1:16

And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:

First of all I wasn't sure what a "crop" was, so I googled it and found this definition on Wikipedia:

"A crop (sometimes also called a croup or a craw, ingluvies, or sublingual pouch) is a thin-walled expanded portion of the alimentary tract used for the storage of food prior to digestion. This anatomical structure is found in a wide variety of animals. It has been found in birds, and in invertebrate animals including gastropods (snails and slugs), earthworms, leeches, and insects.

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers says:

"His crop with his feathers.-Just as in the case of quadrupeds the skin was flayed off the victim before it was put on the altar fire, so the feathers were removed from the bird before its body was placed on the altar. This is the natural sense which is to be expected from the context, since it can hardly be imagined that the victims would be burnt with the feathers, and thus cause an intolerable smell. The rendering, however, given in the margin, "with the filth thereof," is now adopted by the greater number of expositors. As the two words filth and feathers resemble each other in Hebrew, it is probable that one of them has dropped out of the text. The maw, therefore, with its contents, as well as the feathers, were removed to the eastern side of the altar, where the ashes from the altar were thrown ( Leviticus 6:3)."

Barnes' Notes on the Bible is typical of those that go with the marginal reading:

"His crop with his feathers - The weight of authority is in favor of the marginal rendering. It is most probable that the feathers were burned with the body, and that the wings, mentioned in Leviticus 1:17, were not mutilated."

Unlike larger animals, many commentators say the small size of the offering limited what the priest could do to make these parts acceptable for the alter, so they were cast away
