    Hi Patrice.

    Revelation is a remarkable book,

ans you will find there is several different views of the book.

These views mostly depends on ones hermeneutics, "the study of the general principles of biblical interpretation." A method of the way we study the Bible, considering when to take it literally, allegorically or symbolic. When studying this book it's probably best to cast away our viewpoints and start afresh.

This book is prophetic and have tons of references out of the old testament. The book of Daniel, Zechariah, Psalms, Isaiah, ect... and many more.

Before I recruit you over to my pre Millennial views I would suggest since you already started in Revelation Ch 1 through ch 12, get you a good study reference bible and study those books taking notes, Then go to 1 Thessalonians ch 4, 2 Thessalonians ch 2, Mathews ch 24 and back to Revelation Chs 1-12.

And feel free to ask questions.

    God bless.

Solomon got the earthly visible form of wisdom and all of the other things to reign over a visible people and nation of this age and in that no one will beat him.

However, the book of Ecclesiates shows that Isaiah 40:8-9 still holds true over all that Solomon was given in this visible life.

Jesus Christ has the heavenly invisible form of power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing ( Revelation 5:12) hidden in the Old Testament scriptures that Solomon was only an earthly shadow of. Christ is the substance. Christ Himself is the Word of God that is eternal and that gives the abiding eternal life that Isaiah spoke of, but that Word is hidden from all those who only seek what is under the sun. Set your mind on Him and by faith abide in Him to bear fruit rather than setting your mind on the things Solomon got that all passed away when his life ended on earth. Being super rich in the things that pass away is nothing compared to the poorest person that has the smallest treasure in heaven that is eternal. The only thing left of Solomon that has lasted is his contribution to the scriptures that reveal and point us to Christ, and that is the only thing that will last in any generations we leave behind at the end of our earthly lives and in eternal life.

Christ is King of kings who's reign for now is only revealed and proclaimed through a foolish nation and people as far as the men of this world and its wisdom are concerned, but we are born of the wisdom of God revealed only to those who are in Christ. Focus your prayers on how to live wisely among the people of God's Kingdom that stand on a sea of glass more than any earthly nation like the one Solomon reigned over or that you see tossed about by the waves of the sea today. What we see is passing away.

    Dear T. Levis,

Thank you, these are very helpful. I've not read the book of Zephaniah. Malachi and Isaiah also. After studying Ezekiel I believe I can get through Isaiah, but that is a very strong book it will take a lot of concentration. Thank you for your comments they are well met.

Thank you, a brother through Yeshua HaMashiach,

Some think Gog and Magog may mean Russia.

    Ezekiel 38:15

They come from the north of Israel and want to attack Israel.

    Continued from previous post:

The LORD SAVIOR will raise up competent GOD loving; JESUS CHRIST believers; Holy Scripture living; promise keepers; praise and worship singers; unceasing prayer warrior's; heart filled with thanksgiving Saints; sin hating; mortified, crucified, washed, and cleansed in the Precious Blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST MOST HIGH GOD; followers of the KING of GLORY; redeemed of the LORD GOD; followers of the exalted LORD of Heaven to do HIS work.

However, all this is only made possible because of our SAVIOR KING the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST. We are nothing, but in HIS infinite grace the LORD extends HIS invitation to whomsoever will to be used to accomplish HIS will on earth. Praise our most loving and "only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords" is willing to offer us peace, eternal joy, and comfort in HIM. ( 1 Timothy 6:15)

The choice before each of is simple. Are you willing to be part of this triumphant, all conquering army of GOD; or are you going to be part of the dying, unfaithful, unbelieving multitude who will be eternally separated from the Loving HOLY LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST because of a harden, unrepentant heart, darken and confused soul. 2 Corinthians 4: 3-5

"Though the return of the prosperity of the church does not come in our time, we must not despair, for it will come in God's time." Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

The LORD Shine HIS face upon us and HIS blessings declared upon us daily.

Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised. HIS counsel is righteous, true and His promises are a comfort and peace unto those who know and trust in HIM. Although HIS admonition and declaration may seem difficult and harsh; but by accepting them and following them with Godly humbleness and obedience we will be blessed. "For this is the love of GOD, that we keep HIS commandments: and HIS commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:3

By going willingly into captivity, shows humbleness, obedience, and trust in the LORD GOD. We can do this because we know the love of the LORD GOD unto us, and we know the message, and the messenger. But most of all we know the LORD our Savior and KING through the HOLY Scriptures. It is of our best interest to turn, obey and serve our KING and GOD. Even now we may despair for our current situation before our nation and the world: COVID19, Russia, Ukraine, China, N. Korea, inflation, inept leadership on all the highest level of our government (not all); the LORD will not leave us thus. Our captivity is that of our relationship with the LORD, we claim as our Saviour. The apostle Paul wrote "I therefore the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." Ephesians 4: 1

Let me just mention Hebrews 11 : 1 ...Faith is the substance of things hoped for the Evidence of things not seen..This is a perfect picture of a Spritual Pregnancy...Even in the natural when a woman is pregnant she has the substance ( her fetus ) of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen...( the fetus ) her baby . But this is something in the Spritual realm...My lil Children of whom i travail in birth till CHRIST IS FORMED IN YOU, Gal 4 : 19 ..This is the new birth..As we have born the image of the earthly we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly...Thats what the real meaning of Faith is a Spritual Pregnancy...That good seed ( his words ) is gona Form a baby Christ in US...Thats y he is saying whosoever receives one such child in MY NAME receives Me...Abraham & Sarah's Faith resulted in a Child called Issac...But Faith under the blood of the lamb is the Living WORD that good seed that is gonna result in a Greater Child of PROMISE...Which is the H.G. THAT CHILD OF Promise...

This is Gestation in the Spritual Realm as Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit this is the H.G. that Child of PROMISE...Thats y the scrip. says Faith comes by hearing his Word as his Words are the good seed that is gonna form a baby Christ in US..which is the H.G. That Child of PROMISE..That was the great Promise that when God ALMIGHTY SWORE BY HIMSELF THAT CHRIST WAS GONNABE MULTIPLIED AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN...Thus the sower and his precious seed that new Covenant..The living words of God an Israel of God living words that are gona be born in us...Jesus said his words are spirit and life and his words are his seeds,...When he breathe on them they received the H.G. VIA his seeds ( his words )...Thats when he told em of a woman in travail and Child birth....He was propagating very God when he breathe them...God swore by his very self when he made that Promise...Thats y Jesus said to whom his Words came it made them Gods...and Scrip. cannot be broken. Dear Harold Hendrickson God knows how a human life will manifest itself, He also speaks of genealogies. So a cripple from birth does not expect full healing. Nor does the person who has contracted the disease from external stresses. So here man will in a way accept his position.

When it comes to mental health, this can be quite a whole study in fact. There are probably some here on the web who have this to learn out.

When one person seeks too be fully healed, one person seeks the Lord in an urgent way. And it must be so that men will be able to see God's works come into force here on earth (pst i did not find the word i was looking for today,: p)

Personally, i believe that the longing to be healed comes from God Himself. For what does a man know about what is best for them? Our dear Paul finally wore the Lord's marks on his body! Imagine that. Galatians 6:17 And Paul had been told by the Lord, "My grace is sufficient for you." 2 Corintihans 12:9

Even i can say i thank God for everything even my frailties. For when i am humble in myself, He is near with His Good will for little me. Its nothing in me who stand against Him who is my King and Savior. God bless us all in Jesus Christ holy Name above all names, Amen

Dear "Charley" u are absolutely right. On the web are all kind of ppl. And in the world we meet all kind of ppl. But the Word of God is read out to the congregation in these churches too. And the Word it's sharper than any double-edged sword. Hebrew 4:12-13

Therefore when a man receives the word and get saved in the name of Jesus Christ. So remember that many have left Jerusalem, but not all have Jesus in their hearts. BUT they can get it by hearing the word.

Therefore we will love one another as the Lord says, Romans 12:10 for when we do, we fulfill the law in one swoop. Be patient with all people, love one another deeply forgive always, not only once a transgression in Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

So here you can see dear "Charley" that we must show patience and forgive first of all. Pray for all ppl on the world, that they will be saved! God bless us all with His understanding over everything in His time to give it. Amen Stay Blessed in His Holy Name.

In the second chapter of Hebrews , we are given a pretty clear picture of the kingdom. The revelation found in the words of Paul. How we are the children of God, born unto Him. That as the children we have been put here for a reason. We have been born for a particular task, that we might do, even now unto the children He has given us.

He succours those in the time of temptation, while we remember our Priest who has gone before us, Jesus Christ!

That Jesus was made a little lower than the angels, and became like us, so we may live free, not in bondage ,fearing death.

That we have been given the promise, even the same as Abraham! This man who's kingdom shall have no end, is yours through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Repent and be Baptized

    Hi Elizabeth.

The animals mentioned in these verses is in the Millennium, "before" the new Earth and new Heaven.

  • Alex N - In Reply - 3 years ago
Elizabeth thats a good observation about the Animals...Gods uses them as symbolic language for PPL...But the lil Child that leads is the H.G. the Child of Promise Isaiah 11 : 6....As Jesus said a lil Child is gonna lead them..And unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child etc...That mountain is the Kingdom of God ,...You are come unto mount Zion etc the Kingdom of God..Also in Acts 10 All the UNCLEAN animals in that sheet were symbolic of the Church that has been made Clean by the Blood of the LAMB...Not water baptism that Peter was commanding...And likewise All the white Horses in Rev. is just Symbolic of ppl us sinners that have been made white by the Blood of the lamb.

Many times i think about the Donkey and her Colt is just symbolic of humanity that is gonna birth a baby Christ our Colt, our Fruit unto God...The Son of Man....Unless you receive the KiNGDOM OF GOD as a lil Child...our Colt..etc...But now we are tied up in a place where 2 ways meet, The flesh and the spirit...But the disciples put their clothes on the Donkey and her colt thus the disciples answer to the Donkey and her colt ty Jesus...The Colt ( our offspring ) which is the H.G. answers to the lil Child that is gonna lead US...That which is born of the spirit is spriit jesus said...Which is the H.G. our offspring, Our COLT. The son of man.

Solomon prayed the right prayer according from a sincere heart. He did not pray according to his need or want he thought he wanted but what he knew was for the people. God saw he was not selfish and wanted to understand and judge the people right so God gave him much more than he ask for and there is not one king before nor will there be one after him who was as wise. Plus God made him super rich. He was the richest king more than his Father King David. I desire more wisdom and understanding from God it is a great thing.

Hello Tonya. Psalm 68 is a wonderful Psalm of praise & victory. King David composed it probably based on the retrieval of the Ark of the Covenant from the house of Obed-edom back to Jerusalem ( 2 Samuel 6:12), after David fought the Philistines to get to where the Ark was being stored. It was an extremely joyous time for all that the Ark was now back in Jerusalem, especially for David, who "danced before the LORD with all his might", probably ahead of a great procession of musicians & dancers.

Then to Psalm 68:11: "The LORD gave the word"; could well be the time when David enquired from the LORD, "Shall I go up to the Philistines?" (i.e. to fight against them to gain passage to recover the Ark - 2 Samuel 5:19). And the LORD said, "Go up".

"...great was the company of those that published it". There was a large group/procession of singers, musicians & dancers that helped bring home this great news of the Ark's recovery, heard by all from the noise of their celebrations (cf Psalm 68:25). And the Hebrew word that is seen for this particular company, is in the feminine gender, indicating that as was common in eastern celebrations, the women took the lead in those occasions (especially in song & dance). And remember, this was not the intimate dancing we see today on a dance floor, but dancing on the streets with joy before the Lord, stirring the hearts of the people to praise Him for this great deliverance, recovery & blessing.

The next prophetic event which will & can occur at anytime is the coming of the LORD Jesus in the clouds ( Mark 14:62), 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18. In Act 26:8 Paul ask King Agrippa why we would think it an incredible thing that God should raising the Dead. When Jesus Christ come the the earth he will bring with him the dead in Christ and they will be united with their resurrected bodies a body like unto his (Jesus's) resurrected body Philippians 3:21. We (saved) who are alive and remain shall be caught up into the clouds with the resurrected dead, and so shall we be with the LORD forever, 1 Thessalonians 4:17. When? In such an hour as ye think not Matthew 24:44.

The Bible has a number of places that speak of animals in glory.

    1. Isaiah 11:6-9

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

    2. Isaiah 65:24-25

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

    3. Revelation 19:13-14

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

There are other things that could be added to this short list. But this is a good place to start.

To expand on your point, Eli's sons definitely appear to me to be examples of Phillipians 3:18-19 with their insistence on taking the best parts of the Lord's offerings for themselves and after resisting rebuke even creating a cult of temple prostitutes leading the Lord to give them over to destruction. The loss of the Arc of the Covenant in addition to their deaths shows that their corruption of the Lord's worship brought guilt upon many more in Israel than just themselves.

    18. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
  • GiGi on Exodus 14 - 3 years ago
    .....continued.

The pillar kept the two peoples apart all night. God stood between His chosen and the enemy. He does this for us. He's "got our back", He is at our sides, and goes before us. He is above us covering us with His protection in every way. The next time I am in a fix I will remember what the Angel of the LORD and the pillar did here.

That night, Moses stretched out his rod and hands over the sea. God brought forth and strong wind from the east that caused the sea to stack up on two sides, exposing a land bridge for them to walk across. The wind was extremely strong and the land became dry for them to walk on. So, no mucking through mud or going down to the depths, but over a land bridge conveniently created by God in the past to be used at this specific time. The water was like tall walls on either side of the Israelites. God made a way where there seemed to be no way!

But there is more! In the early morning watch (2:00-6:00 a.m.) God looked out from the pillar and "troubled" the Egyptians, by making the wheels of their chariots fall off. The Egyptians were fearful, admitting the God of the Israelites fought for them. Ol' Zephon-god of the sea and storm was no match for YHWH! The Egyptians turned around to run back to the west shore from where they came. By now all of the Israelites had crossed onto the other shore. God told Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea once more so that the waters would return to its place and drown the Egyptians. The text says that the waters were returned to their normal depths from west to east, causing the Egyptians to flee right into it! Not east to west to push them back to the western shore, but from west to east to engulf them as they ran away from what God was doing with Moses.

It does not say that Pharaoh tried to cross after the Egyptians. Most likely he commanded from the shore. Every Egyptian that pursued them into the sea were drowned. The Israelites saw their dead bodies as they were washed ashore. Yeah!

  • GiGi on Exodus 14 - 3 years ago
    ..., continued

God told Moses that Pharoh's heart will be hardened once more and that he will come to pursue them in order to recapture them. But God says that He will gain honor over Pharaoh. Perhaps meaning that he will humble Pharaoh and glorify Himself to the Egyptians and the Israelites.

Pharaoh commented, "Why did we let them go?" He was not wanting to lose these people as servants so he got in his chariot and many went with him plus 600 choice chariots with the top soldiers and captains. They overtook the Israelites in their camp by the sea, striking fear in the Israelites. They cried out to YHWH and they complained to Moses saying that it would be better to stay in Egypt as slaves than to die in the wilderness. They had very little faith in Moses or God. They even said that they had told Moses to leave them alone so they can serve their Egyptian masters when Moses first came for them.

But despite their unbelief and fear, Moses stood up and boldy proclaimed that YHWH will save them so do not be afraid. He proclaimed that they will never see the Egyptians again after they experience what YHWH will do for them that day. And in an admonition he said, "The LORD will fight for you, so hold your peace. Up until now God had not told Moses how He would save the Israelites, but Moses knew that God would indeed save them.

God now instructs Moses on how He will deliver the Israelites from the Egyptians. He tells Moses to stretch out his rod over the sea and divide it. God says that the Israelites will cross the sea on dry land, but the Egyptians' hearts will be hardened and pursue the Israelites through the divide. I guess the Egyptians did not consider that the God of the Israelites had made the sea divide for the Israelites, not for them.

At this point the Angel of the LORD and the pillar moved from the front of the Israelites to the back, between them and the Egyptians. The pillar made it dark upon the Egyptians and light upon the Israelites.
