Baal Zephon is on an island in the Straits of Tiran. It is a mountain worship center for Baal Zephon-the god of sea and storms. Migdol is a mountain watchtower west of these straits where Egyptians scouted out the land below. Along the western shore of the Sinai peninsula is a wide sandy shoreline that was used as a highway.

So, the archeological sites I googled think that Pi Hahiroth was between the Migdol tower and the Straits of Tiran (Southeast tip of Sinai peninsula). They think that Etham a plain was north of Pi Hahiroth that dead ended with mountains all around and to the shoreline. the only way out was to retrace their steps south. The Red Sea has 2 arms. The western arm is the Gulf of Suez and the eastern arm is the Gulf of Aqaba. The sea around the southern tip of the peninsula is also called the Red Sea. So, these two archeological sites came to the same conclusion about the location of these named places and the most plausible place for the Red Sea crossing.

The Israelites traveled day and night, God knew what Pharaoh would be thinking. It seems that spies must have sent back word of the Israelites meeting up with a dead end at Etham.

The Israelites had backtracked to the mouth of a bay at the southern tip of Mt. Sinai facing the island where Baal Zephon was. The other side of the strait was Midian. There is a natural raised land bridge at this strait crossing from one side to the other coastline. There are other theories about the route and location of this point. One could read up on it to see what has been researched on this topic.

Pharaoh heard that the Israelites were hemmed in. He thought that they must have been traveling without knowledge of the land and so got in a place where he could overtake them.

The Israelites did not know about this peninsula, but Moses did. More than that, God knew every hill, valley, stream, etc. He directed them with the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. When the pillar stopped, they camped.

    Please read Revelation 9, 10, Daniel 7, Matthew 24:3-51, Mark 13:5-37, Matthew 25:31-46, 2Timothy 2:3, 1 Thessalonians 4, 2Thessalonians 2

Hello Harold, Glad to meet you.

In the NT Jesus healed countless people with a variety of ailments and disabilities. When John the Baptist was in prison and asking about Jesus, Jesus' message to him was: the lame walk, the blind see, etc. He healed the blind man in John 9 and the man lowered from the roof who was lame since birth. He brought the girl back to life saying Tabitha come forth as well as Lazarus.

So, I think that anyone should pray for healing in any situation, because in Jesus actions in the NT He healed people gladly with compassion and love. He is the same yesterday, today, and always. In Paul's case, Jesus thought it best for Paul to not be healed. He may still will that some not to be healed. But, I think Paul set a good example of asking again and again.

    1Thessalonians 4:17,

Please read: Daniel 7, Zephaniah 1:15, Zephaniah 1,

    * Matthew 24:29-30, "After the tribulation" Matthew 24:3-51, Matthew 24:21,22, Matthew 26:64, Mark 13:5-37, * note Mark 13:23-27, Mark 13:19 first, Mark 14:62, Revelation 1:5-8, these all seem to be the same event; 1Corinthians 15:52, context: 1Corinthians 15:20-58, Revelation 9, has the six prior trumpet blasts then Revelation 10, also lining up with prior noted scripture of the last trumpet: Revelation 10:7, & Revelation 10:6, Revelation 10:1, Matthew 25:31-46, seems to be the end, beginning of judgement. Psalms 9:7,

    2Timothy 4:3,

    2Timothy 2:3, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13,

    Hope this is helpful

Verse 12 mentions that Eli's sons didn't know the Lord. They knew about him but they didn't come to know Him personally and they didn't let that knowledge affect them.

    Leviticus 14,

The Books of Exodus,- Leviticus, Deuteronomy & Numbers, cover very specific Laws about the appointed Priesthood only being able to receive & make the offering to GOD ALMIGHTY.

    Sorry , it's Philippians Ch 4 V 11-13 , I gave the wrong Philippians reference .
  • Grae - In Reply - 3 years ago
With respect and affection , I suppose it depends on your own personal interpretation of the words affliction and disability . Here r a few scriptures that may help , Jer Ch 32 V 27 , Exodus Ch 4 V 11 , Philippians Ch 11 V 13 , Romans Ch 8 V 18 , Psalm 73 , Prov Ch 24 V 19-22 , Prov Ch 23 V 17+18 , Proverbs Ch 24 V 29 and Hebrew Ch 2 V 10 . I believe that suffering is an essential part of our growth and development as humans and Christians . It's never much fun when u r in the thick of it , but time heals and hopefully we always learn something from it and we can b better equipped to help others in their sufferings when we have also suffered . Matt Ch 5 V 7 .

    Good Morning Gervis,

Thank you for bringing this up. First of all, I think we need to know that God has all authority over all of us. He does not force obedience nor servitude upon us. He loves us and changes us day by day to be more like Him. He tenderly cares for us and fiercely defends us. He provides for our needs even before we ask Him for this providence. He works for our benefit. In Jesus

Christ He sacrificed His life for us to redeem us.

Husbands are to imitate Jesus in regards to how to treat their wife and children and exercise the God-given authority in their families. Wives are to follow their husband's lead and trust him to be wise in His decisions. AS husband and wife, we are to submit one to another, speaking of equal regard for one another.

Psalm 121:3-4 says that God does not sleep nor slumber. He has no need of it as sleep and slumber is a human need. God is ready and active 24/7, 365 days of the year to help us, to hear our prayers, to answer, to provide for our needs, to lead us, to protect us, to accomplish His will in our lives. What a wonderful thing this is! He is always acting on our behalf!

John 2 : 23 When Jesus was in Jerusalem on the feast day many believed in him when they saw the miracles he did but Jesus did not commit himself unto them BECAUSE HE KNEW ALL MEN and needed not that any should testify of MAN for he knew what was in MAN...Jesus will not take his abode within us unless we are bornagain of that incorruptible Seed the Word of God....

.....Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child...a Birth of Christ in us via hearing his Words, His Seeds that makes us Clean ,Without Faith it is impossible to plz him...Its Faith by the living Words that forms Christ in us...My lil Children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in us...But he has to know us that when the good seed is sown in our hearts that initiates a

birth of Christ in us as a Child which is the H.G. the Child of Promise...Behold I send the Promise of my Father upon you which

is the baptism of the H.G. That Child of PROMISE.

Good Morning Heaven Peach and good to meet you.

Everyone who is a believer has the Holy Spirit within them. He regenerates us and implants faith at the time of conversion so that we can assent to the truth of the gospel and believe in Jesus. therefore, every new believer has the Holy Spirit in them and the Spirit remains within a believer throughout their life of faith in Jesus and on into eternity.

    Amen Suze,

The old points to the new, a shadow of things that would and will come, our savior Jesus Christ.

The old strengthens our faith by showing us scriptures that have been fulfilled.

Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

The old shows us that God keeps His promises.

Romans 1:2 Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures.

It shows us that Jesus is the Christ.

Acts 18:28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Matthew 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

    Both are needed.

    God bless,

Many have decided that their long-standing physical disability is an affliction. So they go through life praying instead of being healed. Please explain the difference. Even Paul Asked Lord 3 times to remove his physical ailment without success. However, the Lord kept Paul humble by not removing this physical problem. Is there a difference between affliction and disability? Thank you for any help with this.

    Reply to Chris

    Thank you for your words.

There is no mention of the sundial. Which is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY directly above us at all times.

ALL, is not written in the scriptures , Father of Lights , is not Father of ALL lights, or ALL would have been written.

The consuming light, is not all lights

the light that lighteth every man, is not all lights

The light of the world, is not all lights of the world.

And let them be for lights, in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth, and it was so.

This is not the light of the world. Is not all lights. And is not referred to as all lights.

    however I see this

All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made .

so the lights in the firmament are made by Him, It is His.

The lights through narrow windows ,

The lights in the upper room, also through Him that made all things.....

Which makes our GOD the Father of all things,

    Not just light

Much to see and hear and walk, in the Word of the LORD,

    VICTORY BELONGS TO JESUS

    peace flood your day

In John 10 : 16 Jesus is describing 2 sheepfolds but he says that the 2 sheepfolds shall be joined as one...Other sheep I have that are not of this sheep fold...But there shall be only 1 shepherd and 1 sheepfold...So if ya see 2 sheepfolds the 144,000 and the other sheepfold that cannot be Numbered...which is the stars of heaven sheepfold, That great Promise sheepfold that are gonna be as the stars of heaven...Christ Seed That cannot be numbered for multitude...They are gonna be made 1 sheepfold...Remember Jesus said if I be lifted up i will draw ALL men unto Me..ALL MEN...In Adam we all die but in Christ WE WILL ALL LIVE.

He died for Everybody...Thus his blood has to be applied to Everybody...He makes his Rain and his Sun to fall on everybody...He does not cull anybody...When he fed the multitudes he didn't cull anybody...He fed em all and did it with a Childs lunch.

Jesus wd Not teach us to forgive ALL our Debtors...If he didn't forgive ALL HIS DEBTORS HUMANITY...God so loved the world.

The Childs lunch is the H.G. .Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child . Truly i say unto you unless ya receive the KiNGDOM OF God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....Thats y the New Birth is so important...Being bornagain of an INCORRUPTIBLE SEED which is his voice his words His Seed..Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN...Mankind has to bring forth fruit unto God which is a baby Christ...the H.G. that Child of PROMISE...Thats y he has to KNOW US that when his good seed is sown in our hearts which is gona result in a Heavenly Birth...She brought forth a manchild that is gonna Rule ALL NATIONS..Thats everybody...Toda el Mundo...All the world..David saw all the world at rest and full of his GLORY...All the world.
