You really need to study God's word, 1 John 1:9

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

King James Version (KJV) I think you've missed the whole point of Jesus

:-)) YOU took what the enemy meant for evil and YOU turned it FOR GOOD! Lord I'm so grateful this morning! Thank you thank you thank you :-_)

Starting my day with Ecclesiastes 11. It's a short beautiful chapter.

I wish young people (&old) could grasp the concept that whatever sins they do now, even though they repent, will still bring consequences to their lives. God is not mocked, we will reap what we sow. This is a reason to turn away from sin and NOT commit that sinful act in the first place.

Just as the serpent came to Eve he will come to you and tell you that God will forgive you, and God will forgive you if you repent, but the action will still bring consequence just as it did to Adam &Eve in the garden of Eden. They were "ashamed"when God came down to speak with them. They knew what they had done. God forgave them right?

But there are many consequences for sinning that can change the course of your life. Sin will always take you farther than you want to go and keep you longer than you want to stay.

Obey the Lords commandments and save yourself and all around you a lot of pain and heartache. Our sinful choices don't only affect us but others that are watching us. Just as doing the right thing encourages others to do the right thing. They are too watching.God bless!

As the disciples and women gathered in the upper room after Jesus ascended, tarried in prayer and expectation, the Holy Ghost, the comforter Jesus had told them would come and be in them, who is Jesus, for He told them He would be in them, cloven tongues of fire was manifested as the Holy Ghost filled each human body with power and they spoke with tongues as the Holy Ghost gave the utterance. They were born again as Jesus had told Nicodemus is essential to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This was the initial sign of the new birth. Once we are born again, Jesus lives inside us and we are enabled to pray in the Spirit in this heavenly language that Satan cannot understand. Yes, we can receive the gift of tongues, which is given to those who have been born again of the water and the Spirit, which is for the edifying of the body of Christ and also the interpretation of those tongues when the Spirit uses humans to speak to His people.

There is an initial tongue when we receive the Holy Ghost as a sign of our new birth. Paul said "I thank God I speak in tongues more than you all." He referred to praying in the Spirit, which is praying in an unknown language that can only take place by the Spirit of God. Then there is the gift of tongues given to some by God, which are messages from God to His people and the interpretation of these tongues also comes from the Holy Ghost, indwelling our human bodies. Yes, those who are filled with the Holy Ghost as the scripture says the disciples were speak with tongues today. I received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in a heavenly language as the Spirit gave me the utterance. As I continued in prayer and obedience to His Word, I prayed "in the Spirit" as Paul, for Jesus, who lives in me makes intercession for what I do not know to pray, for the Spirit of God knows everything. I have also been used by the Spirit of God to give messages in tongues and interpetation for the edifying and encouraging of the body of Christ.

Plz let me ramble a bit this morning about this Gal. 1 : 4 KJV......I can't get it outta of my mind......who is this Child that is the Heir , Now i say unto you that the HEIR as long as he is a Child differs nothin from a servant.....tho he be LORD OF ALL....This is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE that is Lord OF ALL......He is just like a servant till the time appointed of the FATHER.....Another Jesus remember Jesus our lord did no miracles till he was 30 he was like a servant ....THE H.G. is gonna be born in us via that good seed the LIVING WORD.....We are just a joint heir with the H.G. the Child of Promise....Thats y Jesus is saying that which is BORN of the spirit is spirit....Thats our new innerman that has to be born in us via his seed .....The results of the heavenly Birth....As we have borne the image of the earthly we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly..... Gal 4 : 19 ....My lil Children of whom i travail in birth AGAIN till Christ is formed in you.

.........The scripture cd not refer to this Child as LORD OF ALL if he were not the H.G. the Child of PROMISE.....Jesus's offspring BORN IN US, THE SON OF MAN...The Israel of God.....Now we are the Sons of God being we are a joint HEIR with the H.G. Who is LORD OF ALL.....This Child is the multiplication of very God being he is Spirit thus he is truly the Child of Promise......And this Child is our KING Another Christ.....And that great Promise was multiplication of Christ....

God Almighty was so passionate about this great Promise that he swore by his very self....Thus Christ is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven via his seed the seed of the sower the contents of the book in the FATHERS right hand.....but now is sealed but not for long......Read Gen. 22 : 17 then read Hebrews 6 : 13.....We are gonna have a baby . Dear Antonio James on Hebrews 3 and all the rest :).

Thanks for the reminder from the Hebrews.

1 John 3.10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Isaiah 51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him."

2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

2 Timothy 4.7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

John 5:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The house of the Lord. A place of prayer, and "you have made it a den of thieves". Christ uses His authority to show the scribes and elders where the authority lies when it comes to things of the church. So, they ask Him "by who's authority?

They want to know. They confront Christ with the same authority that they believed they had! How soon they had forgotten the ministry of John the Baptist and His authority. How soon they forgotten how the people responded to His death, that a man as this would be martyr, for His faith. How soon these who should have condemned and left off what happened to John!

So, Jesus asks them. Was the baptism off John of heaven or of men? Their response was "we cannot tell". How unfortunate that because of their blindness they would not learn the authority of Christ! Because of fear, because of unbelief they would never hear "by who's power and authority Christ did what He did!

The people knew the baptism of John. They knew His ministry, as he spoke out against king Herod! They knew because of this! That Jesus is and was who He says He is! The people knew! Because of John the Baptist!

The power of the Holy Spirit! This is the same spirit that guides and directs as a whole, people in the truth. This same spirit that guides the church! Answering their question with the same question! How powerful is the word of God!

Guided by the Holy Spirit is the authority you and I have in the church. Speaking the truth in all its purity, in and through the Lord Jesus Christ! Never forget the authority you have! In heaven and earth! Repent and be Baptized

Dear friends, as long as there is ONE person who is on earth and prays for the unbelievers. That is enough for the Light too stay.

In any case, it will not be completely dark then. The Lord has not thought too leave anyone whom He has decided will come to Him.

When we know that God had to send Jesus. Then it's because He's going to fetch the rest of His people.

There will not be complete darkness on the earth until He has moved up His ppl.

As I understand it, we are in the last days. BUT after Jesus has fetched His, there will be no more salvation. Then everything is lost. (honestly then I will not be here at least), Paul teaches us that we must work and strive for our salvation. So that we do not work in vain.

Let's put it this way. If everyone had been righteous, Jesus would not have needed to give us the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Spirit came to save the rest.

The day He comes will be awe-inspiring, for then there are no believers left on this created earth. Then He has prepared everything new for His people.

outside the dogs and adulterers and all unfair. Then it will be darkness becouse the Holy Spirit is gone forever.

God bless us all so we do not lose heart. But hold fast and have confidence in God in all things. Bless u all dear ones you are dearly bought. 1 Corintihans 17-34 and Chapter 12.

Dear all believers. A Tongue Speech can also be a message from the Lord himself. Those concerned will understand it.

You can challenge yourself, go to google translator and recognize language. There you can experience that you really have more languages in your heart than you assume. : D And its Great.

God has blessed us with all Spiritual At least to those who ask for it. Thank you Lord Jesus.

From reading the gospel accounts post resurrection Jesus appeared now and then go His disciples, but it does not seems like He stayed on earth and resided at length between the resurrection and the Ascension . When He was talking with Mary He had arisen but had not gone to the Father in heaven yet. It seems that He went into heaven shortly after meeting with Mary, but this was not the Ascension. (Which happened 40 days after He arose from the dead). So He was in heaven with the Father and Holy Spirit most of the time between His resurrection and Ascension (the 40 day period).

Perhaps when He met Mary He did not have His incorruptible body yet and needed the Father to take Him to heaven to receive it.

But others may have different ideas about this.

Thanks for asking. It makes us think more deeply about this matter.

    Dear Shelly

I just want to encourage You to lean on Jesus for all You need for salvation. Please know that God takes you jet as you are when you call on Him. I encourage you to pray, which is simply bringing our needs to God for supply and help.

Ask Him to increase your faith and open your mind, spirit, and heart to understanding His Words as you read the Bible. No one needs to have complete perfect understanding of the Bible or matters of faith to be accepted by God. We are accepted by Grace through faith in Jesus and His saving actions of suffering and dying for us and removing our sins from us. Instead of standing before God with all of our sins covering us, we are covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ as He lived a perfectly righteous life for us. I pray that your heart will be uplifted in knowing Christ and filled with joy and peace from the Holy Spirit who dwells in you.

Shelly, we hope to hear from you often on this forum. We welcome you in the name of Jesus, our Blessed Savior and Lord.

    Norman.

I meant to say a second set of humans "Wouldn't be under Adams curse ".
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Genesis 2 - 4 years ago
    Norman.

Cain had a wife before he went to dwell in Nod!

Genesis 4:16-17. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

AND CAIN KNEW HIS WIFE; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

We have no idea how old he was when he slew Abel.

And Adam and Eve could have had hundreds of kids by the time Cain slew Abel. God said be fruitful and multiply, he certainly would have gave them the ability to do it!

If God had a second set of created beings why would remove a rib out of Adam to make woman?

Lets follow the logic being presented and entertain the notion of a second set of beings created.

    1) Genesis 2:18. And the LORD God said, IT IS NOT GOOD THAT THE MAN SHOULD BE ALONE; I will make him an help meet for him.

( Now this suggests God's done with creating any other Men.)

God completed his work and rested from all he created here in Genesis 2:2.

and incase we missed it God repeats

    himself in the next verse.

Genesis 2:3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God "CREATED AND MADE."

What he do forget to make a second set of men and went back to work on the 8th day?

    THE HELP MEET.

    Genesis 2:21-22. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Now if God is going to go back to work on the 8th day what's the point in removing a rib from Adam to make Eve?

Now if there was a second set of humans they would have never died because they would be cursed by Adams sin. W

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12.

    God bless.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, and layout so many things. I have so many questions. I have such a feeling

    of doom.

I have prayed for truth and feel like I want to be with God, and know that the only way is Jesus. But I struggle to read the Bible, as I feel like I'm not understanding it. The part that says many will be lost because of lack of knowledge

really gets to me. I'm not educated, but do feel like I can see truth where others can't. But then second guess myself, wondering if it's me being brainwashed too. I know Satan is very smart and cunning.

Thanks again, may God bless you.

John 20:17 Jesus tells Mary not to hold on ,

    Thomas to touch his side.

Did he ascend in between these verses?

Or was he on earth 40 days before ascension ?
  • GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT_WHO is the 3rd Person of the Godhead - 4 years ago
Mishael Comment: the Holy Spirt determines what gift is given. Not many people will seek to receive a gift. Thats because they have a shallow knowledge of the 3rd person of the Godhead.

Search all the "SEEK" scriptures. If you really desire something from Jesus, you'll go after it with all of your strength. Learn what it is, how it operates; your Faith to obey and a seekers desire to Receive. Both parties have to yield their wills, to the desire of the Lord.

Yes, he wants to heal his followers, reveal wisdom and knowledge; you give the "rest" of your spirit speaking, to the the blessed rest of the Holy Spirit. You have to be still and silent to hear with your born again spirit.

We have to be SEEKERS OF HIM, Not An "Experience". Spirit, soul, reach out to touch the person of our adoration and worship_Jesus!

"All heaven and earth shall ADORE Him." "Seek and you shall Find".

I know in Whom I have believed, and received. You_Ask and receive.

    Ponder on 1 Corinthians 12: 29-31

Why the Gifts? Chapter 13 is your answer. Love complete. Now you see through a glass darkly
  • Richard H Priday on Isaiah 9 - 4 years ago
Apparently the attitude of the Samarians and Ephriam's descendants in verse 9 and 10 was something repeated in this nation after the destruction of the Twin Towers after 9/11. Pride of man is a very dangerous thing. We see the enemies of the Syrians followed by the Philistines (today's Palestinians are now mainly in that coastal region west of Jerusalem today). Hence what happened then will happen again; it would appear in some phase of Revelation (perhaps illustrated in the league of nations in Psalm 83 occuring BEFORE the outside perimeter of Iran; Russia and Libya; Ethiopia and Turkey attack in the Ezekiel 38 conflict). Verse 13 shows how Israel has rebelled against God and perhaps eventually against Antichrist himself "the one who smiteth them". The false prophets and final False Prophet will cause deception; hence the dread judgments of the rest of the chapter of fires; and people eating their own flesh (verse 20). Even the widows and fatherless won't be spared (verse 17). Again; the state of the people's hearts following false predictions will lead to these horrible judgments. There is always the consolation that a remnant will be saved; as some will flee to safety during the Tribulation judgments; and even a few will live physically to repopulate the earth after that time into the Millennium.
  • Richard H Priday on Isaiah 8 - 4 years ago
This chapter shows how the King of Assyria was to overtake the land before Isaiah's son was beyond toddler stage and take their wealth (verse 4). This could very well allude to the final "Assyrian" mentioned in Isaiah 10; and other passages that describe one of the names for Antichrist. As in other chapters in the book of Isaiah; judgment is clearly given due to people's lack of fear in God alone (verse 13). Verse 14 singles out both houses of Israel (likely the northern and southern Kingdoms) who reject the Rock of Christ for protection hence He becomes their enemy. The confederacy in verse 9 through 12 may very well also allude to the Tribulation where trust in the Antichrist and the confederacy of nations in the Daniel 9:27 treaty will become a trap for those trusting in this peace plan to protect them from attack. Their destruction after attacking Israel is clear in verse 9.d God's hidden status toward Israel in verse 17; and the children God has given "me" in verse 18 has been explained as a veiled reference to those raptured who were "given to Christ" as those the Father chose to be redeemed. The rest of the passage in verses 19 to 22 once again demonstrates the view of those "earth dwellers" ( Rev. 11:10; 13:8; etc). The unregenerated unprotected from the seal judgments and those to follow will curse both "their king and their God" (verse 21); much like what occurs in descriptions of the bowl judgments in Revelation.

They are as the last verse in this chapter indicates "driven to darkness". Our only hope is Christ; and we must be saved from our fallen state in THIS lifetime; once our soul separates from our body it is too late to change.
  • Richard H Priday on Isaiah 6 - 4 years ago
This scripture in verses 9 through 11 echoes the gospels where Christ states that things were told in parables so that only those who were "as a little child" would understand (see parallel verse in Mark 4:12). This passage in Isaiah is alluding to the nation of Israel in general. Verse 11 shows a diaspora in the land; perhaps indicative of Old Testament events; but certainly also indicating AD 70 and the future dispersion in the Tribulation. There will be a final remnant as verse 13 indicates of the "holy stump" which Daniel also uses to refer to God's people in the last days who remain. If we reverse the order of this chapter and now go to verses 1 through 6; we see the real cause of the problems for those who were in Israel at that time; the lack of fear of the presence of the Lord in their lives. Daniel also offers a similar plea when he realizes the plight of the Jews in Daniel 9. The seraphim and heavenly creatures in Revelation 4:6 -8 and Ezekiel chapter 1 and other places are pictures of the same 6 winged creatures (the Cherubim have 4 wings as stated in Ezekiel 1:6; and four faces (one on each side) as demonstrated here and Revelation 4:7). Anyone having a genuine vision of the Lord would respond in a similar manner; being prostrate and totally undone. Judgments will wake up some but sadly others who are unregenerate simply will be hardened further in their rebellion against God.
