Those two along with Moses would be the front runners according to most people, but who knows?
Here's the verse why some say Elijah and Enoch. Hebrews 9:27.
They attach Moses because of the plagues is like the plagues in Egypt.
Mose died in Deuteronomy 34:5.
God bless.
Good Question.
I'm not sure if this is the answer but We know by scripture Christ was prophesied as the savior to come into the world before the world began.
Ephesians 1:4.
1 Peter 1:19-21.
The volume of the book is written of Christ and his redemption plan.
See John 5:39.
Also " Hebrews 10:7. "
We that said your question reminds me of
Ephesians 2:6-7. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"THAT IN THE AGES TO COME" he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
This seems to imply that in the ages to come one would look back and see the love demonstrated orchestrated in these 66 books. which involves creation.
Just a perspective.
God bless.
And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
God having provided some better thing for us, THAT THEY WITHOUT US SHOULD NOT BE MADE PERFECT. Hebrews 11:39-40.
I have thought about that, too. It seems that it may be Enoch and Elijah for the reason you stated. But also, we are not told how Moses departed this world. He may have been translated also since both he and Elijah appears with Jesus at the Transfiguration.
Psalm 127 speaks of children being a blessing and happy is the man who has a quiver full of them.
I've always wondered how many arrows fill a quiver in archery.
Thank you.
There are many sins! Idolatry, Fornication, Witchcraft, Pride, etc... All of these sins fall under three areas LUST OF THE FLESH,LUST OF THE EYES, AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE | 1 John 2:16|! They are not all classified as stealing! But what they are classified as are sins against a Holy and Righteous God AND transgression of the LAW | 1 John 3:4|!
With that said ALL the sins in God's Word minus one are forgivable...The only unforgivable sin in God's eyes is denying Christ Jesus! | Matthew 10:33| Jude 1:4 | Proverbs 30| Which is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost! | Matthew 12:31| This is saying that Christ Jesus did not die on the cross and send us the Comforter! The Holy Ghost is our Comforter!
We must be born again for our sins to be washed away | John 3:7 |
I noticed one of the comments state there are "7 deadly sins" God says ALL sin causes DEATH! | Romans 5:12| It says there in Romans that death passed upon ALL men! This is our physical death...But there is DEATH beyond our physical DEATH and that is an eternity in HELL the SECOND death this is spoken of in Revelation | Revelation 20:14| This second death is for those that have not been SAVED by the Grace of God through FAITH in Christ Jesus...causing BLASPHEMY of the HOLY GHOST!
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Acts 3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
Luke 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
I feel grieved for your loss and I prayed for you just now and felt the Father speak to you that 'she is safe with me.'
I felt such warmth and love in my heart that I felt to bless you with words of encouragement.
Father God loves you so much and he welcomes you with loving arms. Yet he is ever so gentle and like the gentle waves along the beach, he calmly keeps pursuing us like a patient loving Father. I hope this message brings you warmth and comfort and that you are in peace. Heaven is a place of victory and love is everlasting. May God smile upon you today with his warmth and kindness and that you have a blessed day! :)
We certainly are never on our own ! Thank God , be blessed !
you have received many good answers. Just mention to you that the people we all meet in the world. On one day, They are ours? For the responsibility lies with the one who sees, in this case it is your responsibility. I say this in peace.
I think this is a good opportunity to and forth lift up the Lord Jesus. Just "jump" in you dear Sandra and know that the King of Kings is with you. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ be blessed with words from:
John 21. 1After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. Amen
