Esau purposed to murder Jacob after Abrahams death.
And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said IN HIS HEART, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; THEN will I SLAY my brother Jacob.
Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Malachi 1:3
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Obadiah 1:18
And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.
KJV Commentary: Esau means
Hairy, Rebekah's first-born twin son ( Gen. 25:25). The name of Edom, "red", was also given to him from his conduct in connection with the red lentil pottage for which he sold his birthright (30, 31). The circumstances connected with his birth foreshadowed the enmity which afterwards subsisted between the twin brothers and the nations they founded (25:22, 23, 26). In the process of time Jacob following his natural bent, became a shepherd; while Esau, a son of the desert, devoted himself to the perilous and toilsome life of a huntsman. On a certain occasion, on returning from the chase, urged by the cravings of hunger, Esau SOLD his birthright to his brother, Jacob, who thereby obtained the covenant blessing ( Gen. 27:28, 29, 36; Heb. 12:16, 17). He afterwards tried to regain what he had so recklessly parted with, but was defeated in his attempts through the stealth of his brother ( Gen. 27:4, 34, 38). At the age of forty years, to the great grief of his parents, he "married ( Gen. 26:34, 35) two Canaanite maidens,
Esau tried to conciliate his parents ( Gen. 28:8, 9) by marrying his cousin Mahalath, the daughter of Ishmael. This led him to cast in his lot with the "Ishmaelite tribes (present day Palestinians) and driving the Horites out of Mount Seir, he settled in that region.
Peace
I can see that some question here are comming back on and on. That's becouse it is a Big confusion, for they who live in the world, and who is not in a christian community. They just use the scriptures too hold a hand over a woman. That's wrong!
We can se that in taliban and other places too.
Be blessed in the Name of Jesus Christ.
These verses never demean women as being unequal to men in God's Sight. Women always have had a wonderful & compelling position in serving their family & humanity and yes, I perceive many of our dear sisters would probably do a better job of ministering the Word than some brothers. But to twist this heavenly order in any other way only demonstrates a rejection of Scriptural direction within the Body.
variance mean..?
The word "without" here, is an older English word usage, meaning 'outside'. It is supposed to be the opposite of 'within'. We use 'within' often, but not so with, 'without'. Therefore, when Ham saw (or, observed) his father's condition, he went & told his two brothers who were 'outside' the tent. So when the brothers, knowing their father's state, approached the tent opening, they put a (large) material across their shoulders & walked backwards into the tent to cover their father & in so doing gave him due respect.
Herod wanted to murder Jesus
[The three wise men]
12 And being Warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to murder him.
Is that correct?
thanks
To kick against the goads - is a Syriac proverb, expressing an attempt that brings nothing but pain.
People's Bible Notes for Acts 9:5
Acts 9:5 Who art thou, Lord? Sure that it was a supernatural communication, though he might possibly suspect its source, he did not yet know that it came from Christ. Perhaps at times he had had misgivings that he might be wrong, but he was sincere. I am Jesus. It is not said, "the Christ", but JESUS, the crucified one against whom Saul was raging. Had the answer been "the Christ", or the Son of God, Saul might still have doubted whether this was Jesus. [It is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Omitted here by the Revised Version, but found in Acts 26:14. The idea is that he is injuring himself, like the ox that kicks back on the goads used to urge him forward.
Acts 9:5
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (goads).
Acts 22:8
And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
Acts 26:15
And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Mishael: another thing is this= Jesus always says Follow Me. He says today is the day of salvation. He's here today!
No one else is coming. If you hear his call today, follow Him.
There is a Link on the red page, Become A Christian. It's a lot to read, but I think it will answer your question. Come back, if it doesn't, ok?
You have to pray much for the servant and the bride. Trust me, internet connections rarely connect.
Instead he had to put all his faith and trust in the servant. He was rewarded with a wonderful wife whom he loved all of his days. See verse 67 :D
This tells me that our relationship with the Holy Spirit should be close. He knows where your future wife is. Prayer and communication with Holy Spirit is important. You want to be equally yoked. I especially like verse 65. She sees Isaac the first time__as in Wowie!!

Think on these things
In the middle of your statement, you said "no other time in the bible that can account for the black race." I'm not sure where you get your information from. While the Bible doesn't explain all answers to all questions we have, it does say a lot. Maybe your question is where do races come from. Two common theories exist- some believe Noah's family was diverse and spread out into different people groups from there. And others, including myself, believe God's work at the Tower of Babel included changes to culture and race, along with the already disclosed language creation and regional placement across the earth. God bless.
"Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, being an example of repentance to all generations."
I like that Enoch is considered an example of repentance to all generations. If he was a great example of repentance, he began having sins to repent of and through his repentance was transformed to become a righteous man who walked with God. This should give us all hope that we too may fully repent of our sins and be transformed to become like Christ and walk with God.
Good evening. Hope all is well in your lives. I'd like to share with everyone how my day went. I was contemplating going to a friends son birthday party because it was a Holloween theme and well I hate that holiday. I just was very apprehensive and just kept thinking and thinking. It's not until a few hours later where I went to Jeremiah 17 where it says "Blessed is he who trusteth in the Lord and who's hope is. So, I was anxious even going but when I got there I had my eyes, mind, heart set on Jesus. I had a smile on my face of joy because I know he was with me. I don't like those type of environments but I love my savior and although I am not a long time Christian and need more guidance I know he lives in me. There's no other way I would've been able to be there if it wasn't for the peace of God that he gives through his son. I wanted to share that with y'all. I let some people know what happened to me and how God has blessed me. A kid that was jumping fell and I prayed for him. God is so good. This is not to boast or I don't want it to sound like I'm being self righteous. I just wanted to express that I can't do anything without him. God bless you all. I love you. - Arnold
Israel was captured periodically because of worshipping idols. That happens all through the Bible.
This would mean reading all of the Bible.
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of HIMSELF.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
[People die naturally, or in many other ways.
Only the people who die with their names recorded in the Book Of Life, will be raised to life again. They've already been judged when they received Jesus's Salvation.
Everybody not written in the Book of Life will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgement. All good deeds, sins and refusal to receive Jesus's free gift of Salvation, will be Reviewed. The sentence of death will remain.]
Eternal life, OR Eternal death are the only choices.
