Dear "Glenda Faircloth" In Jesus Name, the free will is free if u already are a christian. If a person dont belive in Jesus Christ yet, the person dont have the understanding to live or die. And are bound to the darkness, pain, sickness and the cold word of white and black. A person is not free under the darkness, only a slave is she or he.

See it like a rebelion youth. Key word, patient, loving, caring. mm.

All ppl are only free in God.

In my life i try too be as free as posible, in Jesus.

And if someone give me the opportunity to preach the Gospel am free in the Lord Jesus. What the Holy Spirit lead me to do, pray, read. That is all who matters. We have different gifts.

My heart tell me what am free too do.

I Corintians 9. 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. Or in Galatians 5.1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Amen

First i ask ppl i meet if they belive in Jesus? Becouse no-one can Speak Jesus name if they dont. Evan the darknes know about Jesus, and they belive in Him.

Philippian's 2. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Acts 16. 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    easy

What can ppl wich for, when the God have spoken and will do what ever He want? I can say, what He already have decide.

In Jesus Name will all be saved who belives in Him, in the time when and God have decide. That is not up too us. I'll hope am getting my wrightning understanding. God bless u all in Jesus Holy Name.

But best of all i said if ppl do deliver them self too God straight, and right Now. But i cant do anything about that. We can do two things, pray and fast. in Lord Jesus Christ name.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to me. I will try reading your suggestions. I have read the 4 Gospels and am currently working my way through Acts (Which is not as easy to read for me as the Gospel's) I do not read fast and have to re-read sections alot to make sure I understand what they mean or look up definitions of words which sometimes gets me sidetracked, but I take my time because its worth the trouble. Thank you again, Bless you!

I don't know what you think of the early Church fathers, but at least two, who were contemporaries to the Apostle John: Ignatius was the Bishop of Antioch (35-107 AD) stated, "For OUR GOD, Jesus the Christ, was conceived by Mary according to God's plan" & in another writing, "Consequently all magic and every kind of spell were dissolved, the ignorance so characteristic of wickedness vanished, and the ancient kingdom was abolished, when God appeared in human form to bring the newness of eternal life".

Polycarp, Bishop of Smyrna (69-155 AD): "Now may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the eternal High Priest himself, the Son of God Jesus Christ, build you up in faith and truth and in all gentleness and in all freedom from anger and forbearance and steadfastness and patient endurance and purity, and may he give to you a share and a place among his saints, and to us with you, and to all those under heaven who will yet believe in our LORD AND GOD Jesus Christ and in his Father who raised him from the dead". And of course, there were many more after them that attested to the Divinity of Christ on Earth.

I realize that these men, though historical, have their writings & letters considered extra-biblical, which will justifiably raise eyebrows & concerns. Yet, it does point out two things: that the Deity of Christ was still believed not only through the apostolic age but into the post-apostolic age and it was not at the Nicene Council in 325 AD, which pushed for the acceptance of Trinitarian belief, which is erroneously fed to us these days. The denial of Christ's divinity stems from Gnostic thought & propagation, & sadly many Christians fall for it. Apologies for the length of this response - I have tried to deal with your points briefly, brother.

Yes, I believe Jesus was capable of committing sin as he was flesh & Satan took advantage of the weakness & susceptibility of it. But for Him to sin, would mean the receiving of a sin nature, become a failure as Adam became, & be rejected as the only acceptable Sacrifice for sins. We would never be able to attain salvation in any other way & only God could know what His Son's condition & position would be henceforth (I couldn't even begin to contemplate such a thought). But for His holiness, His resolve, & His great love for us, He thwarted Satan's attempts "on all points" of temptation pertaining to life.

To think of Jesus just as "the Divine Son of God & Name above all names without saying He is God", I believe is to seriously undermine the Nature of God in its completeness. Just because a kidney can be removed from me & transplanted to another, doesn't mean that stops being my kidney (just a weak analogy). Fortunately, I can survive on one kidney, but it will always remain my kidney that I gave to another because I was born with it & was given from my body. If Jesus (the Word) came out from God's Being, He always remains God, even as God's Spirit always remains God. What causes the confusion, is our incapability of understanding that 'three can be one' with any 'part' able to be wherever, doing whatever God prescribes for 'it'.

Thomas exclaimed to Jesus, "My Lord & my God" ( John 20:28); as well as Philippians 2:6; Colossians 2:9,10; John 10:30,33; Isaiah 7:14 cf Matthew 1:23 are some Scriptures that attest to Jesus' Divinity.

Hello Ronald. Thank you brother for your thoughtful comments & I certainly respect the spirit that you have given them in. In considering both the individual aspects of your comments as well as its overall thrust, I would say that at the first, we need to determine Jesus' position pre-incarnate & post-incarnate. On this determination, hang all our beliefs & discussions of the Godhead (i.e. the Father, the Word & the Holy Spirit).

Re: Jesus' flesh. As I read the Word, I believe that Jesus was born of God entirely pure, i.e. with flesh untarnished with sin. It could be said that his flesh was as that of Adam, pre-fall. However, Adam sinned & the sin nature & propensity to sin passed on all of us, but Jesus refused to sin, that "he was on all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" ( Hebrews 4:15b) - still in the flesh but the sin nature couldn't take hold. Some would say that Jesus was the product of the fusing of the seed of God & the seed of Mary. I would tend to disagree; if anything directly human was involved in human production, then the sin nature has to be passed on. I believe that what was placed in Mary was entirely of God & Mary was the vehicle for bringing forth a child, in fulfilment of the prophecies concerning Him.

So, when I say 'Godhead', in lieu of 'Trinity', it is to firstly avoid the naysayers, & secondly to emphasize that the Godhead cannot be complete without the Word & the Spirit being vitally connected & a part of Almighty God's Being. If the Word proceeded out from God, as even He sends forth His Spirit, then the Word made flesh must be the exact personification of God, sans the humanity & the laying aside of His Glory that "He had with (God) before the world was" ( John 17:5).

Like I mentioned in the other response. Everyone is so kind and gentle here. You see I hardly have any friends nor even brothers that I regularly keep in touch. I go to church but can feel disconnected at times because I'm always the one trying to imitate more discourse, more importance in building us up etc but maybe I am alone in this but it's fine. Jesus said this life wasn't going to be easy. For those who find this life very unpleasant like myself and the treasures of this life unpleasing I've been a target especially in the household. Jesus said man's enemy would be his household. I pray for my wife everyday and my two kids that God will save them. I tell my wife the peace that Jesus Christ gives is like no other but I can't force them. I love them and it's so hard. One of the main points is Time. All they want is my time and yet it's so hard because the time they need is consisting of movies, football, etc and I just always go back to scripture. Even when I do it I only do it for a bit because it just doesn't sit right with me. But as I'm learning and doing a study on his grace I understand that it does abound more and more and to have the fruits of the spirit is one of the key things to have. Like Andrew Murray said once we go to Christ and come to him making him our master the Holy Spirit will pour out more and more (paraphrasing) but something like that's I continue to ask for your prayers and guidance. There's so much to learn but I know he's called me for a purpose and I'm willing to lose everyone and everything and there's one of the major concerns in this family. I always think about him. I've never had this feeling. If I don't pray sing or even think of him I am terribly saddened. Please pray the by Gods mercy and grace his Holy Spirit be made manifest and they get convicted before it's to late. Have a blessed day

    Good evening

I Would like to say thank you. Everyone is so kind when I ask a question or even post something that is dear to my heart. The family of God is like no other and I'm assuming that's why Satan wants to attack us the most because we are strong with the Lord. Your words gave me tears and although I don't know where he will take me I explained to my better half after being in an argument that I was willing to lose everything and everyone for Jesus. I've been convicted in so much that I really truly honestly believe he called me for a purpose. It's hard to explain but I just strongly feel like this. I think about the Lord from morning until I go to bed. I talk to him. I pray to him. I sing to him. It's a loving relationship like no other and just pray I am in complete obedience. It's hard living in a dark world full of dishonesty, anger, malice, and sadness but as I'm uncovering 2Corinthians12:9 means so much in that sense his grace is the only thing that should be sufficient. If Jesus could sit with sinners and just smile and be humble why can't I ? I ask the Lord make me to be like you. I want to love like you do. I want to talk like you did etc etc. I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out it means a lot. I hope when we meet again we can rejoice and tell each other how we overcame it. God be with you always

    Messenger,

Thanks for sharing all of the great scripture.

I think this scripture basically summarizes what is expected of me as a Christ follower:

    Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14

13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

And again this is reiterated by Jesus Christ many years after his death in Revelation to apostle John.

    Revelation 12: 12-14

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

This is Jesus/God telling us that he will judge us in the manner above!

    God Bless.

When I first read that, I too saw the resemblances, I was told by Elders that it would be rebuilt in the historical location. I also came to realize all of the USA is not in active participation to evil.

Recently I looked up Philadelphia & the only thing mentioned was USA where The Declaration of Independence & Constitution of The United States where signed. Interesting

Precious brother Chris, a Very Warm Welcome to the family Of God!

If I may suggest Bible reading to get you Growing In GRACE, in addition to your "praying" = Ephesians, and then Romans - Philemon, Which Are God's GRACE/PEACE Love Letters Directly TO us Today, For: Consolation, Comfort, Edification, Enjoyment, Encouragement, And spiritual Building Up Of All The BLOOD-Washed "members ( saints!" ) In The Body Of CHRIST!, HIS Church, Seated In Heaven! Amen?

And after these, maybe this "study" suggestion, for further "Growth In GRACE":

    Link

Please Be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, and Edified!

    ( 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 16:25; Ephesians 1:3-9; Ephesians 3:9 = Grace/Mystery fellowship, today?)

And, Again, a Very WARM Welcome!! See you in God's Great GloryLand!!! :)

    Arnold B.,

Thanks for sharing & trusting us with your heart-felt information. I myself for several years found many movies very awkward & surprisingly inappropriate especially within family/friend settings. That may have more to do with our spiritual convictions, exposing the hidden evils & persuasions deeply enbedded. Maybe try game nights instead. Trips to beaches, parks, waterfalls, nature themed. Places you can let GOD's creation declare HIS goodness, while you speak the WORD.

    Deuteronomy 6:7, Ephesians, 5:26, 2 Corinthians 4:17

    Jesus also corrected John 5:14

Praying for you to have clear direction, discernment, wisdom & perseverance, hope & encouragement. I also pray their hearts will turn from things, words, actions & attitudes that displease the LORD & disrespect your faith, instead to things, attitudes, actions & conversations= that are pleasing to the LORD.

I have come to a place where understanding 'pure love casts out all fear' being love & trust in GOD. Hope this helps.

You are very kind Raymond . I know it's an old cliche but it's so true that if we are ever in doubt about what to do , all we need to ask is : what would Jesus do ? All the discussion about this verse and that verse , we drive ourselves and each other crazy some times . Christ is the perfect example , of love and kindness and patience and gentleness .He shows us the way . He is the Way , all we need to do is follow . Much love in Christ .

Hi Chris M , you don't have to give up your memories . The events and people that you have experienced and known have helped to make you you ! I wasn't brought up with religion so most of my family and friends were atheist and I gave them and received from them , love and fun and good happy times , ' all things work together for good to them that love God ' . It's so true , so many people , atheist , have been kind to me and helped me through my life , I now know that all these kindnesses that I received I received from God . God has always been in your life , working through your experiences and the people around you to bring you to Him . Of course once you know the Truth your priorities and outlook on life change a bit for sure , but you are still you and it's you that God loves , has always loved , and He has used the correct ways and means and life experiences and people to bring you to Him . You are an individual and God knows you better than you do and He has brought you safely through your life and taught you a million different lessons on the way , using the people around you . When I was a child my parents taught me some horrible things , but these things helped me in latter life and for sure helped me to get on the path I'm on now , which is hopefully the path to the Kingdom of God . God is always at work , everywhere . Trust in Him and rejoice in the fact that He has brought you closer to Him in the perfect way that He knew how to .
  • English Sacha - In Reply - 4 years ago
Oh Arnold , this is such a hard part of Christian life . Someone needs to write a manual on this : how to love none Christians without going crazy . It's a life long struggle . Here's how I try to do it : know when to say nothing , don't judge , be patient and kind to everyone , don't expect to be able to change people , make time to be alone with God every day , don't be too hard on yourself ,God knows your circumstances , keep a sense of humour , tell the truth about your faith to everyone who asks you about it . Patience is the key for me , it's not something that comes naturally to me so it's hard work .I comfort myself with the hope that Christ will return soon , I believe that when Christ returns , all flesh will have one last chance to accept him as their Saviour and I hope and pray that my atheist loved ones will still be alive and that they will accept him , I won't say to them 'I told you so ' though I'm sure I will be very tempted to do so . You are still human , still living in this world and still part of a family , keep the truth in your heart all day every day and talk about it when you get the chance but pick your moments , timing is crucial , you have to respect some one who tells you that they don't want to know about it . If you have a bad day , come on here and talk to us . Never forget to whom you belong and what price has been paid for your redemption .

1- what happened to all the bodies of the the 1000's that died in biblical battles?

2- if Abraham lived 175 yrs. and Sarah 127, why were their bodies considered too old to produce or bear a child?

You are replying to a comment by "Bea"

    Here's some scriptures:

    1) Ecclesiastes 3:19,20

    2) James 4:13, 14; Isaiah 43:13

(old age causes lost of strength and many other issues. weak body parts etc.

in Sarah's case, she gave birth to many children with the help

If one quotes a scripture, wouldn't it be from the word of God and

    not from men or woman.

    But if the bible is not quoted from the bible;

would wisdom still be of much value?

Jesus quoted his fathers words perfectly ( John 8). and the prophets

spoke from God ( Psalm 83:18)

Who is much wiser? Who is wiser to instruct mankind?

Sister Glenda, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Age is in YOUR favour; because, you can look back at more experiences of LIFE, than your daughter.

The SPIRIT has CAUSED you (through the CHOICES he CAUSED you to make) to have those experiences of LIFE (good and evil) because it is necessary to become like God. ( Genesis 3:22)

God KNOWS how to USE EVIL for GOOD.

God CAUSED Joseph to have a silly little dream and to tell his brothers about that dream.

God CAUSED his brothers to be envious and hate Joseph.

God CAUSED his brothers to rise up and do EVIL against their brother Joseph.

But look what THE WORD SAYS:

Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not, for I am in the place of God (where God purposed him to be).

Genesis 50:20 But as FOR YOU, you thought EVIL against me, but God meant (caused) it (evil) unto GOOD, to bring to pass, as it is this day, TO SAVE MUCH PEOPLE ALIVE.

God is STILL DOING this TODAY; Man just does't BELIEVE IT.

Did Judas have a Choice outside of what God had purposed him TO DO.( Zechariah 11:12)

Did Peter have a Choice outside of what God had purposed him TO DO (deny Jesus and flee)( Zechariah 13:7).

Did Pharaoh have a Choice outside of what God had purposed Him TO DO ( Romans 9:17).

Did David have a Choice outside of what God purposed him TO DO.

2 Samuel 24:1 And AGAIN the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he MOVED (CAUSED) David against them, to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

God PURPOSED that you are going to become the IMAGE of HIM ( Romans 8:29)( 1 Corinthians 15:49), Do you think you have a CHOICE outside of what he has purpose you TO DO.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my Spirit in you, and CAUSE you to walk in my statues (good or evil), and you shall keep my judgements, and DO THEM.

God's WAY is not man's WAY.

    Sacha.

Thankyou for the lovely comments. Like you, I have been reading the bible for a very long time, 41 years in fact. I also like to read commentaries because every now and then, I pick up a fact or two that had completely eluded me. If the commentary is not correct or unholy in any way, I rely on the Holy Spirit to give me discernment as to what to do --- usually ditch and forget. I tend not to get so carried away with the Greek & Latin meanings and leave that to other erudites who have nothing better to do. We must all focus on Jesus because he will lead us, now, and at the end.

For myself, I can never get enough of Christ and am constantly wanting to learn. God Bless you.

    Keep Looking Up.

    Hey Adam,

I would love to discuss this lovingly, I am born again and I do my best to walk in the Spirit and I pray when I study to be led by the Holy Spirit. I was in a church in my early life but not saved until my forties. I have been to many different denominations since, and from what I have seen, this creed is placed above salvation that is only through Jesus Christ and placed as the foundation of Christianity.

Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel means "God with us". Another understanding, when the first Adam sinned God could no longer dwell in man. Jesus, the last Adam, on the cross repaired what the first Adam did, God can again abode/dwell in man. In Jesus through the Holy Spirit God dwells in us, now God is with us.

John 10:30 answer, John.17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 1:1 The word was God (in the beginning) God has no beginning or end so, what beginning? Is this beginning of everything or is it a prelude to Jesus's ministry that John repeats in 1 John 1 the declaring the Messiah has come in the world? I do not believe Jesus was created. Is there anyone living that can say how Jesus was begotten? Does not a word have to be spoken before it is a word?

Philippians 2:5 answers Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. If we read a little further we see why ( Philippians 2:8-9)

I can go on but my question is; why has this creed, the trinity doctrine, developed four hundred years after Jesus by the Roman Catholic Church that is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, has become more important than the gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Do you believe if someone does not accept the trinity doctrine they are not saved and are not a Christian?

    In the love of Christ,

Recently became compelled to come to christ at the age of 55, asked Jesus to save me some years ago but didn't take time to read and develop a true relationship with him. For some reason which I have no clue I've recently been taken over with the desire to read and follow everything i can get hold of about Jesus and have been praying several times a day. Although I know I have to walk away from the world and it's ways, I am saddened and struggling because I have a lot of good memories mixed in with all the 55 years of living in the world and need to know how I can turn my back on all the fond memories even though Jesus expects it. Please help this old Reborn Sinner , Thanks

Good Afternoon/Everning (for some). May The Lord Jesus Christ be with y'all during this turbulent times.

I would like some insight if I may. I have been a Christian going on three years. And as of recently I read a book entitled Absolute Surrender by Andrew Murray which changed my life and gave a lot of clarity on what I was doing wrong in regards with living a Christian life. I know that I am a child of God and I know my purpose in life is to be an instrument of his will and to be a light that shines in the darkness. I strongly have been convicted but in seeking him more I'm studying his Grace, Love and the Fruits of The Spirit. I know if i'm made perfect in love then I have peace and that peace that passeth all understanding is in my heart with Christ my Lord. When it comes to be unequally yoked with my spouse I understand that I am to be at peace with all men and if I am then I also have fruit as we'll. I am finding it very difficult to live with my family who are unequally yoked and still share the deeds of this world. It's very hard but if I understand the word that if his grace is sufficient for me then that's all I need and also to understand that true love and pure love casts out all fear. So why do I feel bad in participating with either watching TV with her or my kids, movies, family gatherings etc.... ? I ask the Lord to show me how to love like Jesus, Talk like Jesus, Walk like Jesus, but how do I converse with family members or even friends who are in spiritual darkness? I know it says that If I am light I should have no dealings with the darkness but how can I ever lead my family or friends to Christ if I am not willing to take time to be with them. I've learned when I am in these situations I keep praying in my head and it really helps. But I love my wife and I know that Gods sovereignty was that we be together but it's hard you know and it can be very very draining. Any advice. I want to serve my God first but also share the love of Jesus. TY
