Hi Roger. The prophet Jeremiah was also known as the 'weeping prophet' ( Jeremiah 9:1,10; Jeremiah 31:16,17) as he had an exceptionally tender heart towards his people. When we read Jeremiah chapter 9, we need to also look at chapter 8, as they are connected. The volume of their sins; sins of adultery, deceit, & idolatry which God would certainly punish & not overlook, fully gripped the prophet. His weeping ought to have alerted the people to the certainty of judgement for their follies, but they disregarded the warnings.

So his exclamation in Jeremiah 9:1: "Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!", is a picture of how he felt & the tears that would flow because of the impending slaying of his people by the Babylonian sword & then into captivity, away from their God-given land.

I agree Glenn , thankyou for answering me . I believe that the temple described is a literal one , the sacrifices made there will be for the humans because as we know where there are humans there is sin and I believe that the 'prince' is Christ . I'm guessing some will disagree with me but that's ok . Ch46 is very important , it talks about the prince worshipping the LORD in the temple . Ezekiel's visions are fantastic , every time I read them I try to picture them in my mind . Very powerful stuff .

  • WHAT ABORTION IS and WHY GOD HATES IT - 4 years ago
Moloch, also spelled Molech, a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of CHILD SACRIFICE. The name derives from combining the consonants of the Hebrew melech (king) with the vowels of boshet (shame), the latter often being used in the O.T. as a variant name for the popular god Baal.

In the Hebrew Bible, Moloch is presented as a foreign deity who was at times illegitimately given a place in Israel's worship as a result of the policies of certain apostate kings. The laws given to Moses by God expressly forbade the Jews to do what was done in Egypt or in Canaan. YOU SHALL NOT give any of your children to devote them by fire to Moloch, and so profane the name of God ( Leviticus 18:21). Yet kings such as Ahaz ( 2 Kings 16:3) and Manasseh ( 2 Kings 21:6), having been influenced by the Assyrians, are reported to have worshipped Moloch at the hilled site of Topheth, outside the walls of Jerusalem. This site flourished under Manasseh's son King Amon but was destroyed during the reign of Josiah, the reformer. "And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, that no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to Moloch" ( 2 Kings 23:10).

    Leviticus 20: 2-5

Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed (children) unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set my face against THAT MAN and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

And IF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND IN ANY WAY HIDE THEIR EYES from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a WHORING after him, to to commit whoredom with Molech.

Brother Earl. Yes, I can agree that Jesus, as the Son of God, had left aside the Glory which He had before ( John 17:5) & was subject to the Father, even for the Works He had to do on Earth. What is concerning to Thas, is why Jesus had not the knowledge of the time of His second appearing, yet showing the other attributes of the Godhead, by His miracles, His knowledge of the thoughts of people, etc. It's difficult to offer an good answer, except as you said, that Jesus "was given (knowledge only) as it is required". Yet, I would have great difficulty in interpreting "the Son" to refer to Israel, as shared by another, as the verses & context given don't compel us to use any other meaning.

Hello Patty. That's actually a difficult question to answer as there have been many attempts, over the centuries, to translate the Bible into English. Even in the first century, folk such as Bishop of Sherborne, the Venerable Bede, Abbot Aelfric, etc., made attempts to translate portions of the Bible into English. Of course, the English used then would not be legible by us today. Yet, in 1382 AD, John Wycliffe was credited with producing the first English Bible in its entirety. I've never ever seen one to read & handle it, but if you search on the Web, as I did, you can try to read it. I tried but couldn't read most of it.

Then we have William Tyndale, who in 1526 AD produced the complete New Testament in English (printed in England) & one, Miles Coverdale, finished the work in 1535 AD, printed in Antwerp, Belgium. So, it was only from the 16th & 17th Centuries that the English translations became more familiar to our reading & comprehension. And this was seen in the Tyndale Bible, the Great Bible, the Geneva Bible, & of course, our beloved King James Bible (in 1611 AD).

How can anyone not seek the KJV bible to answer the important questions of vaccines and everything this world does?

How did vaccines, DNA, and mRNA come into existence? By murder, necromancy, abominations, and unnatural sorceries that the bible warns us.

    How? Research the bible.

Science so falsely called. The bible calls science a liar, profane and vain babbling. To abstain from this.

Science sheds innocent blood to murder babies in womb. Using the dead of babies and animals to discover hidden knowledge of DNA and mRNA.

Then science uses sorceries to create unnatural animal and human hybrids and growing human kidneys in pigs. Then science uses these unnatural and unholy things to defile the temple of God within of anyone who professes to believe.

These synthetic immune systems that science creates are an abomination.

Science values no plant, animal or human life. Everything living person, animal, or plant is a disposable specimen to them.

And the Georgia Guidestones proves their evil global plot of eugenics of communism that Revelation warned us would come.

    Jeremiah 17:5 warned us.

5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord

    They trust in man.

    They turn their arm flesh.

    Their hearts depart from God.

God curses them for it too.

    We never needed vaccines.

Original antigenic sin is the truth that science tells that they know they can never heal or cure any disease or virus because as soon as a new variant or epitome exists than all those past things they claimed to heal would reoccur again.

Please - if you have ever taken one vaccine - with or without your consent - as many had these vaccines ad kids - repent to Jesus Christ for these worldy things.

And never take anothe one again.

The vile and evil things that science does is never to help life. But to control life and destroying life.

Science hates God! Satanic science wants to be God on this Earth!

Can your will replace God's will for your life.

I know that God orders our steps. My problem is my daughter and I get into a discussion every now and then about about peoples time to go. She says you are not going to die until it's your time, and I tell her that a person can hasten their death by doing stupid stuff like drugs, driving recklessly or sleeping on a train track, etc. She said well it's their time to go or they wouldn't die. I tell her no that it God will that we live our full number of days and some people choose to die early by their lifestyle. God gave us a free will and how we choose to live our life is up to us, we can live it well with Him Lord of our life or we can live for the world and pay the consequences.. The bottom line I told her she needs to search the Word for answers. I'm not sure which scripture to have her read not to confuse her. I'm just not sure, if I'm wrong, please help me to see where I fall short. I just want to please my Heavenly Father and lead my daughter in all truths not my truth. Your help is much appreciated.

  • S Spencer - In Reply on 2 Peter 2 - 4 years ago
    Hi MS Smith.

To get a better understanding on this verse we may have to take it from verse 18.

I will try to point out some important points in parentheses.

2 Peter 2:18-22. ( For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.)

While they promise them liberty, ( they themselves are the servants of corruption:) for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

( For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome,) the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I believe what we have here as shown in the parentheses we have those who have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in verse 20. However the previous verses 18 and 19, they don't seem to have ever accepted Christ.

That's why they're identified as a Dog and a Sow instead of a Son. In Luke 15:11-32. You have a Son returning home, All 3 found their way home.

In away 2 Peter 2:18-22. reminds me of Mathew 12:43-45. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, HE FINDS IT EMPTY, SWEPT, AND GARNISHED. (NO INDWELLING OF THE HG.)

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

    God bless.

    Hi Brother Fred,

I enjoy your posts very much, but I feel the need to make a few comments about things about your statement:" America is a Christian nation, built on these fundamentals of faith in the resurrection, everlasting life, and judgment of God."

We need to realize the following.

-From the beginning - We invaded this country America, killed and humiliated the local Indian inhabitants, and we stole their land, and treasure. This is really not OUR country!

-We brought slaves into the country, to be used, and then when they were finally freed, we discriminated against them, in all walks of life, for many, many years, and some forms of discrimination continue on to this day.

-We killed many of our own during the Civil War, invaded many other countries, including Vietnam, Korea, etc. killed many inhabitants, and many of our young people. Some war could be justified but most of it not.

-Dropped two (2) atom bombs in Japan, and devastated the inhabitants. This did not need to happen.

    - We continue to invade other countries to this day.

-We legalized abortion, and continue killing babies non-stop.

    -We legalized gay marriage.

    I could go on..

We should all get down on our knees and beg God for forgiveness. I will agree, there are some good christians in this country, but there has never been enough! We all need to stop lying to ourselves, we have NEVER been a good Christian nation!

    God bless.

    Hi Brother Jon.

2 Timothy 3:16-17. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

I believe we can trust Godly wisdom and being led by the spirit above psychology or philosophy or any other worldly wisdom. I believe as we grow in the spirit we become wiser in the Lord and he guides our foot steps in our spiritual walk and change our desires in the secular as well.

If psychology or philosophy have something positive for us I believe God will reveal that to us by his spirit that dwells in us. We do know God gives us a spirit of discernment.

1 Corinthians 12:10. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another "discerning of spirits;" to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

And we know that "ALL THINGS" work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

    God bless.

They do like to get us sleep deprived. They'd pin me and hold my eyelids shut; mouth. But you know what? We can scream Jesus's Name (mind) and the Lord will banish them. They levitated my bed with me in it.

A friend in my guest room felt something huge sit on the edge of his bed. He sat up but didn't see anything.

Once I learned that we can Ask God for angelic protection, I stopped being fearful. Jesus provides everything we need at any moment.

We are kings and priests; even women. All believers can walk in unmolested freedom. I spread out nets of protection over people beat down from spiritual warfare. Why? Because I knew God loves them and wants them saved and living in victory over all enemies.

Just have to obey Ephesians 6. "They are invisible". They hate the God that lives within us.

When I was going through this, the Holy Spirit got me out of bed (pneumonia) and took me to a Christian bookstore. I kinda argued because I had to buy milk for my kid and a teenager kicked out of her house. He took me to a sale table and I bought a book called 'Angels' by Charles Capps. I read it that same day. I knew I was being tormented. I prayed for angels to hang out at my house and assist me till I was well. I have never been troubled since that time. I could fill a book.

Those doing street ministry need to ask God to send angels to assist and protect. They like Gospel music, so fill your house with praise. If the teenagers are runnin with the crowd, PRAY for them. Get the demons gone and pray for God to hang with those kids. You will see little miracles every day. Always give thanks to God for His Mercy and Grace. Always.

I was doing "War Room" in my closet floor before it was a movie. All kinds of churches need to revive intercessory prayer. "Thy will be done"

If you have to get loud, go sit in the car.

Check your house top to bottom for cursed objects. Demons accuse us for that. But don't be hyper. Discern the spirits. 1 Cor. 12

Thank you Brother Fred. For more meditation, consider the Divine providence of God in allowing the formation of the United States (for a time) as a place that the True Church could become more visible from having for centuries to live far more hidden in the wilderness. A place where baptism was not required as citizenship. A place stable enough to allow the Gospel to be spread throughout the earth even towards the neighbor as love. A place that a believing member of the Kingdom of God or Body of Christ could rest as a pilgrim and stranger on their way to the far off Country. The same pilgrim and strangers can easily obey by the grace and peace at the Cross, the authorities above them as required by the Gospel. The same pilgrims can pray for the authorities to rule rightly. When these prayers are answered by the True Authority that gives providence where it pleases Him, will in return provide quietness as a witness to the believer, the believer's neighbor and all of the world.

Daniel 7:9 says "thrones were cast down" , if we were to consider this meaning, seats were set up. Seats for both Old and New Testament believers whom overcame forces of evil, kingdoms of the world, and understood and were kept spiritually safe in the church in the wilderness. True authority has one Throne and only one seated at the Throne. Lightenings and thunderings are the powers of God. How close can saved men be to this Throne, the Throne of Righteousness? As close as the New Covenant the rainbow. This rainbow is the hope and peace between God and saved men.The sea of glass is ahead of the Throne. The redeemed could stand on this sea of glass because their sins were now transparent. The light of God could pass through them completely because of the one seated at the Throne. The twenty-four elders fall down to worship him that sat on the throne. Living representations (beasts) of all of creation witness with the elders to the Truth upon the Throne as their creator too in their continued and everlasting worship saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come". The connection to the Cherubims of Genesis 3:24 which were living creatures to Ezekiel 10:20 "This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims." This chapter of Ezekiel helps to understand chapter 1 of Ezekiel where the beasts had the likeness of man, where man was the crown of God's creation in Christ Jesus.

My meditation would lean towards that these Cherubims are the beasts and are at the four corners of the earth as borders to keep men ,because God so loved the world, on the straight and narrow way towards Salvation by the One on the Throne of God, Jesus Christ.

    :)

I have met and spoken with families that live together in the body of Christ. Who are sound in faith and trust the words of Christ! Broken families are not uncommon, and blended families are more common. There is a condition of unbelief that is underscoring the lives of many. A faithless generation of leaven Jesus has warned us of. The leaven of the scribes and Pharisee. Wisdom and knowledge will be found in the beloved word of God! A country founded on the principles of the Devine providence and supernatural powers of a living God! The power of the Holy Spirit is very much alive, the church has over these last days have made light of this, even so now our gov.t rewarding the unmarried! America is a Christian nation, built on these fundamentals of faith in the resurrection, everlasting life, and judgment of God. It is vital that we share our faith in this place we live!

Sister Shawna, may CHRIST IN US grave us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Christ is the MAN ( Ephesians 5:23), we (the church) are the WOMAN ( Galatians 3:28).

Christ is the TEMPLE (church)( Revelation 21:22).

Christ (the Spirit of LIFE and TRUTH) lives IN US ( Colossians 1:27); therefore we become the TEMPLE ( 1 Corinthians 3:16), ALSO.

We (the woman) are not to teach in the church (ourselves); but, the MAN (Holy Spirit) is to be our teacher.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing (Holy Spirit) which you have received of him (Christ) abideth in you, and you need not that any man (only Christ, the Holy Spirit)) teach you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as he hath taught you, abide in him (the WORD(S) of GOD).
