Basic Distinctions between Prophecy and the Mystery (C.R. Stam) - continued:

    8) Prophecy mainly concerns nations as such ( Isaiah 2:4; Ezekiel 37:21-22)

Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From "Things That DIFFER!":

    8) The Mystery Concerns individuals ( Romans 10:12-13; 2 Corinthians 5:14-17)

    9) Prophecy concerns blessings, both material and spiritual, on earth ( Isaiah 2:3-4; Isaiah 11:1-9; etc.)

    RDf

    9) The Mystery Concerns "all spiritual blessings in The Heavenlies" ( Ephesians 1:3; Colossians 3:1-3)

    10) Prophecy concerns Christ's Coming to the earth ( Isaiah 59:20; Zechariah 14:4)

    RDf

    10) The Mystery Explains Christ's absence from the earth ( Ephesians 1:20-24; Colossians 3:1-3)

    11) In prophecy, salvation by Grace through faith alone is not contemplated ( Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 23:1-3; Luke 7:29-30; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; James 2:17)

    RDf

    11) Salvation "By GRACE Through faith" Alone lies at The Very Heart Of The Mystery! ( Romans 3:21-26; Romans 4:5; Ephesians 2:8-9)

    12) The proclamation of the prophetic program committed particularly to the twelve ( Matthew 10:5-7; Acts 1:6-8; Acts 3:19-26)

    RDf

    12) The proclamation of The Mystery program committed particularly to Paul ( Ephesians 3:1-3; Ephesians 3:8-9; Colossians 1:24-27)

    13) The prophetic program revealed through many of God's servants Luke 1:70; 2 Peter 1:21)

    RDf

    13) The Mystery revealed through one man: Paul! ( Galatians 1:1; Galatians 1:11-12; Galatians 2:2; Galatians 2:7; Galatians 2:9; Ephesians 3:2-3)

    14) Old Testament writers frequently did not understand the prophecies made through them ( Daniel 12:8-10; 1 Peter 1:10-12)

    RDf

    14) Paul Both understood And longed that others might understand The Mystery revealed through him ( Ephesians 1:15-23; Ephesians 3:14-21; Colossians 1:9-10; Colossians 2:1-3)

Hello, I'm not sure what you mean by no A B C. If you mean there's no action you need to take to become a Christian, there absolutely are actions to do to become and continue to be a Christian. The definition Christianity is a Christ follower which is an action and choosing to follow Him is your active choice. The current tradition of men is to claim that doing good is bad and that doesn't come from God. Doing good is not the same as trying to follow the law to earn something. Gal 5:19-21 says not to do works of the flesh and if you do those on this list you won't inherit the kingdom of God. And the Bible clearly says to do good: Galatians 6:7-10. Matthew 5:16. James 2:14-17.

    Hi Robin,

I would like to add to the truth of what Sacha has shared and take it from verse 10.

Isaiah 55:10-13. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that ( it may give SEED to the sower, and BREAD TO THE EATER:)

SO SHALL MY WORD BE THAT GOETH FORTH OUT OF MY MOUTH: IT SHALL NOT RETURN UNTO ME VOID, BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH I PLEASE, AND IT SHALL PROSPER IN THE THING WHERETO I SENT IT.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

INSTEAD OF THE THORN SHALL COME UP THE FIR TREE, and INSTEAD OF THE BRIER SHALL COME UP THE MYRTLE TREE: and it shall be to the LORD for a name,( FOR AN EVERLASTING SIGN THAT SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF. )

Here you have an prominence on the word of God, Salvation is a revelation of God and the word of God is like rain that comes down from heaven, We should bud in response to the word and the Holyspirit in the same way the Earth responds to rain.

God's WORD WILL PROSPER AND ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH HE PLEASE!

Providing his word TRULY abides in us.

Remember the parable of the sower?

We also see the concept here in

1 Corinthians 3:6. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

The bread reminds me of Jesus saying I am that bread which came down from heaven.

John 6:33. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

These passages is also why I believe Romans 6 references fruit barring rather than lost Salvation.

Hebrews 6:7-8 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

    Wonderful passage.

    God bless.

How many times I have been ridiculed, by those of my own household! As reading and believing Paul's word I feel compelled even as him, to justify myself before others for my faith. Compelled by the love of Christ, i wish to know him more, being led by His spirit, living for Him in a time of adversity and unbelief, even among those of your own household! This example also with him, and those who are of the household of God!

Paul never experienced the adversity of a family, or the repercussions of growing and being unequally yoked, this is a condition that is found I think in many a circumstance who live together! Growing together in the gospel, I find a struggle, even as a race not only for the grace found in Christ, but the support we need for each other. Paul, expresses this same, even as He was married to the church and his followers, experiencing these same things we as head of households experience! A natural condition for all who are followers of Christ. Growing in the Love we so desperately need!

More Distinctions In God's TWO Different Programs!:

    Prophecy/Law: 15) The Two "Main" (of 12) baptismS = A) water, For remission of sins! ( Matthew 3:5-6 Mark 1:4 Luke 3:3 John 1:31 Luke 7:29-30 Acts 10:37 Matthew 28:19 Mark 16:16 Acts 2:38 Acts 22:16 Ezekiel 36:25)

    B) "WITH" The Holy Spirit, Poured Out By CHRIST, for power, signs And wonders! ( Isaiah 44:3 Matthew 3:11 Mark 1:8, 16:17-18 Luke 24:49 Acts 2:17-18, 38 Acts 8:15-17 Acts 11:16)

Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From {RDf} "Things That DIFFER!":

Mystery/GRACE!: 15) Only ONE Baptism = "BY" The ONE Spirit = God's OPERATION, Spiritually "Identifying" members In (The Body Of) CHRIST! ( Ephesians 4:5 Colossians 2:12 Galatians 3:27 Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13) 'ONE' = not two...

    Prophecy/Law: 16) Forgive others First, Then God Will Forgive! ( Matthew 6:14-15, 18:35; Mark 11:25-26; Luke 6:37)

RDf Mystery/GRACE!: 16) Forgive others Because CHRIST Has Already Forgiven us! ( Ephesians 4:32)

    Prophecy/Law: 17) Taught how/what to pray! ( Matthew 6:9; Luke 11:2)

RDf Mystery/GRACE!: 17a) we Are Exhorted to "...Make our requests known Unto God!" ( Philippians 4:6) While, At The Same Time, God "Teaches":

17b) Concerning our infirmities, we "know Not" what to pray "as we ought," But "The Spirit Intercedeth For us, According To The Will Of God!..." ( Romans 8:26)

Prophecy/Law {earthly!}: 18) "watchmen," {as CHRIST Told the Jews On the earth!}, looking for The "wicked one, the deceiving man of Sin" And "signs" ( Matthew 24)

    RDf Mystery/GRACE {Heavenly!}: 18) ambassadors {As CHRIST Told Paul, From Heaven!} Looking, Watching, & Waiting For The Holy One, The LORD JESUS CHRIST {From Heaven!} ( Romans 8:18, 19, 23, 25; 1 Corinthians 1:7; Ephesians 6:12-18; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 3:2, 4:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 5:5-11; 2 Thessalonians 3:5; Titus 2:13)

    Please Be RichlyEncouraged!

    Heavenly GRACE/Mystery fellowship, today? ( 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 16:25; Ephesians 1:3-9; Ephesians 3:9)

    Hey studying Revelation.

I agree with the study bible, the one I use has relating scripture in the middle and the scripture is half the page and commentaries on the bottom half. I love it you can study one page for hours for every time you go to another relative scripture it has more relating verses that will carry you all over the Bible.

I just listed two reasons that revelation is hard, it is made up of visions John was given and some of the visions are different, but are about the same event, but are in different parts of the book. And some things have not been revealed like the seven thunders John was told not to write and seal up.

I guess you are referring to Isaiah 24 on the upside-down, I don't see it fitting Genesis, maybe. I do agree with the last generation, whenever that will be, they may be shown what we cannot see now, if we die before it starts, we will wake up, and there we will be with Jesus.

    God bless,

    *Jehovah is a invisible Spirit.

    To illustrate:

God is not a physical or literal wind, because he created

Wind for the earth. But his Spirit is like the wind (Example: Genesis 8:1). It moves to serve his purpose.- John 4:24; Genesis 1:1,2; * Psalm 83:18

"Let us create make Men in our Image"- Genesis 1:26

He was talking to his son (Jesus Christ/Earthly Name- Luke 1:31. Michael The arch Angel/Heavenly Name Rev.12:7-12)

John 1:1-3 (Jesus Never called himself A God. But gave all Glory to his Father in heaven.- John 5:19; John 17; Matthew 22:37; Psalms 83:18)

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy (Your) face shalt (should) thou eat bread, till thou (You) return unto (to) the ground; for out of it wast (was) thou taken (taken): for dust thou (you) art (be or are), and unto (to) dust shalt thou return. (Dust you should/shall Return)

So the Dead returns to Dust. But again Jesus will judge the Dead. And resurrect the Dead. Back to their original human self. Back here on earth. John 5:28,29; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3-5

    Hope this helps

2 Timothy 3:1-7 Saids that we are living in the last days.

( Matthew 24 is a Key example of this pattern)

    How can we tell?

1 This know (Know This) also, that in the last days perilous (Dangerous) times shall (Should) come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves (Themselves), covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers (Not open to any agreement), false accusers, incontinent (lacking in restraint or control), fierce (Violent), despisers of those that are good,

    4 Traitors, heady (Rash), highminded (Proud/ Arrogant), lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power (That is from God) thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts (Various Desires)

Heaven: 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 (Will not inherit); Revelation 14:3 (Redeemed, Saved From Earth)

Please help me answer the below questions:

    1. According to the Bible, is it a sin for a Christian to wear jewelry?

    2. Is it a sin for Christian Women to put on trousers?

    3. Some Christians in our days are claiming that they died, went to hell and was rescued from hell by Jesus. Is this possible based on scriptures?

    Thank you.

The spiritual world is clearly seen, when the swine run into the sea! Spirituality, though outside the realm of reality, can destroy or exalt the creature! Man being such creature, Christ Hears his howling voice across the sea. A sound of a soul crying out ,waiting and hoping for salvation, reconciliation unto God! A soul by itself, pushed aside, alone , crying out, even across the mountains and the sea! There are many like this one. Chained with hopelessness, chained by a spirit that clings unto the very depths of mans soul. How do you see? As they stumble and fall looking for help! You cannot hear them ,for the voice that cries within, cannot escape, this evil one, keeps tied within! Watch now, as He comes , comes and speaks the word , the word even leviathan, and the wales of the sea can hear. This one the power of only His words move the heaven and earth. Watch now, your redemption draws nigh, repent and be baptized, In the name of the Father ,Son, and Holy Spirit!

With China and Russia helping out the descendants of Ishmael; giving this for that, I believe we will see the Antichrist's Kingdom forming. I believe there will be a time of politics before Iran launches their nuke. I wonder how Antichrist will stop that? He has an extensive end time plan for humanity. So does GOD!

I watched a 1hr44min movie on YouTube that can be watched to see what the end times MAY look like WHEN ALL THE PROPHESIES BEGIN TO BE FULFILLED: one world currency, one world religion, being commanded to take shots and marks, starvation. Study the Four Horsemen. It's proof the Bible is true and modern.

Christians are going to see the beginnings of it. It may encourage us to evangelize people we love. Afghanistan has served to unite Arabs against Israel. Maybe.

The name of that movie, type: Revelation Station Tribulation MOVIE. I believe when events prophesied happen, that a lot of people will believe and pray the prayer. Go have a look.

But you know what? God has given us all exposure to the Bible (Ten Commandments and other movies) by every means. It was shocking that one old atheist got Bible, Prayer, pledge of Allegiance to the flag kicked out of schools in 1962. Abortion legalized in 1973. Tuitions are huge because 20% of college entrants were killed in the womb. That means less taxpayers to pay taxes.

We did this. By doing nothing we became complicit. The only thing we possess that is valuable is our VOTE. Look at how that turned out. :( We can't fix this. The End Times are here.

This Holiday Season, may we boldly stand up to bless the meal and fellowship, AND GIVE AN ALTAR CALL. Help them pray the prayer.

It's on this website, on the red link page 'BECOME A BELIEVER'. Maybe read some of Matthew 24 or Luke 21, to them. Recognize the Signs of the Times we are living in Now.

Time is speeding up. The hourglass is dwindling.

Don't fear faces, heckling. Be brave.

I give up. Everyone wants their spin on the Book of Genesis. I reckon alot of people will hate going to have to take the Genesis 101 class when we get to heaven.

A lot of really wonderful stories don't get commented on, because we are bent on explaining rampant immorality of the first family.

Or, poor ole Noah who came home dead tired, had a bit too much wine, fell asleep at the table nude.and then the children walked in on that.

    So be it.

I'll be over in the New Testament with Jesus. Its through his life, and his leadership that we're going to live out eternity. He is the GOSPEL, and that's what we are to preach to unbelievers. GOOD MASTER, WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

The sad thing is, you've not learned the really gigantic truth of what was accomplished in Genesis, after Adam lost his mandate. Adam was the First Human Being. At that time Jesus is the Son of God; The Word.

Adam failed and satan stole the mandate. He had the power over death. The Godhead already had a plan in place.

It wasn't until Abraham obeyed God and lifted his knife to sacrifice his beloved son, God knew this man would not withhold anything from God.

The plan was in place while the generations of mankind flew by until it was time for Messiah to be born. He lived 30 years as Human. He was anointed and for 3 years HE WAS THE SON OF MAN! We saw the love he had for His Father. He spoke with reverence. His Father always said, This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

A time would come when the Father would have to turn His face aside, as his son was accused by men, judged guilty, sentenced, betrayed by those he would die for, tortured, crucified. God had to put the penalty for our sins on Jesus. A HUMAN DIED FOR HUMANKIND. The plan was successful. SATAN WAS DEFEATED. DOMINION PLUS AUTHORITY RESTORED To Jesus; that He gave to His Believers. Us. We have the keys. Do we use them? Ohmaybe Adam can help us? Or Eve?

JESUS IS THE VICTORIOUS LORD. Alleluia

May the Lord God of peace and comfort bless all on this forum. May His face shine continuously upon you. The Lord's arm is not shorten that He cannot bless. His righteousness is upon us through His Son, the Anointed one. His healing is all who call on HIm. His peace is upon us because of His Precious Blood that was shed on the Cross of Calvary for all who trust in Him.

May our country's leadership call on the Lord for wisdom and courage to turn to your Word. May we pray with boldness and fervor that will glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Chronicles 7:14, 15
