Dear God, I believe in you and that your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe in His sacrifice for my sins and His resurrection from the dead. I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins and I'm deciding now to follow you. Please, come into my life through the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is in the Lord Jesus' name that I ask and receive, Amen.

The Bible says doing these things with sincerity means you are a Christian and will have eternal life in heaven.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

    1 John 5:13

Sister Barbara, it's a prophesy, look at the wheel within a wheel in the same context as:

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou has sent me.

Hello Bob, I am sorry that you may be offended in the statement that Jesus in earth was fully God and fully man. He chose to suffer afflictions and iniquities for our sin as the second Adam or man and this choice was by love because he trusted in God the Father's Mercy. The man Jesus Christ died on the Cross with the sins of all mankind and the resurrected Jesus Christ regained full Kingship in His Fullness of God, as he is also the beginning and the end of all things created. Our new man having been born in the Spirit rests in this finished work of the Lamb in peace until time is no more and the harvest is complete. It does not dishonor the Lord to refer to Jesus as God in the son, nor God in the son of man.

    Hi Earl.

    Abomination that maketh desolate.

    Your claim:

ABOMINATION THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP (both at the same time), there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days (42 months, the period of Christ ministry in the flesh, first coming).

    Your claim.

The daily sacrifice was taken away (at the same time) and the abomination that maketh desolate (sinful flesh is enmity to Spirit) set up (at the SAME TIME); at Christ death and resurrection. "YOU SAY THAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION "

Well Earl " ENTERTAINING" YOUR LOGIC, The flesh was crucified at the death of Christ. And the Spirit brought life at the resurrection. ( 3 days later )THAT'S NOT THE SAME TIME.

and THAT WHAT MAKETH DESOLATE ACCORDING TO YOUR LOGIC WOULD BE THE SPIRIT. Since it entered the temple/our bodies after the flesh was crucified. This is your interpretation of Daniel 12:11. You claim it's all spiritual.

Here's further proof why I can't accept your view on this. How do you fit these scriptures into your logic.

Daniel 9:27. And "HE" SHALL CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY FOR "ONE WEEK:" and in the midst of the week "HE" shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

    And Jesus here:

Matthew 24:15. When ye therefore shall "SEE" the abomination of desolation, SPOKEN of BY DANIEL THE PROPHET, "STAND" in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

How could this be speaking of Christ death and resurrection when Jesus lays out events, warnings and a promise of his coming immediately following in

    Mathew 24:16-51.

This is why I say spiritualizing "ALL" the text you can "Attempt to make it say anything.

    Amen !

Peter got it right when Jesus said who do you say I am ?

The Christ the son of the living God .

Why cannot people understand this ? Unbelief is a terrible thing .

    Brother Carleton:

I BELIEVE that Jesus did MAKE A CHOICE; BUT:

Philippians 2:13 For it is God (SPIRIT) that WORKETH IN YOU (in Christ, also) Both TO WILL and TO DO of his (the SPIRIT'S) good pleasure.

John 5:30 I can or MYSELF DO NOTHING: as I hear (the SPIRIT), I judge (by the SPIRIT), and my judgement (by the SPIRIT) is just; because I seek not my own will, but THE WILL of the Father (SPIRIT) which hath SENT ME.

John 10:18 No man taketh IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) from me, but I lay IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) down of myself (I can of myself do nothing). I have power (by the SPIRIT) to take IT (LIFE by SPIRIT) again. This commandment ( John 15:10) have I received of my Father.

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, into thy hands (God; SPIRIT) I commend my (the Father's) SPIRIT ( Ephesians 4:4 there is ONE BODY, and ONE SPIRIT......)( John 17:21)

Remember the bible is the words of CHRIST (the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit).

Psalms 56:11 IN GOD (SPIRIT) have I (the SON) put my trust: I (the Son) will not be afraid of what man can do to me.

Jesus gave his body of flesh for us, so we are able to never see DEATH; because SPIRIT NEVER DIES.

You MUST be born of the SPIRIT (TRUTH).

    Sister Bonnie,

Yes, I believe they are ONE.

    Jesus said the following in:

    Revelation 1:8

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

    God bless.

Because it's a different gospel and a different God and savior , not biblical , it's catholic.
  • Bob - In Reply - 4 years ago
Excellent point David , God was in Christ , this is truth , that does not make Jesus God by any means . All people that are born again God is in , that does not make them God either .

Jesse The Church of God in the Church epistles is the body of Christ which started day of pentecost in Ephesians 3:4-6 verse 6 That the Gentiles should be Fellow heirs of the same body. In the 4 Gospels all the context of when the bridegroom is mentioned the context is the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

In the Gospel of John 3:26-30 in that context Jesus Christ is called by John the Baptist the bride groom Israel that rejected him was the bride. That's my understanding.

When the Bible can not keep

People from deception, would it be fair to say the apostasy is almost complete ?

I think the arrival of anti christ is soon .

Thank God for his son and salvation in him . But it's going to be a tough road ahead for the faithful few .

Brother Earl, For a little more meditation. Just prior to God's Spirit separating Himself from the Man/God Jesus Christ, did Jesus make a choice to enter into death by trust in the Father?

    Thank you for your thoughts!

John I've seen a lot of your comments that don't make any sense the spirit reveals That God is not the author of Confusion.
  • Bob - In Reply - 4 years ago
What Bible are you reading ?

My Bible never says God the son , only the son of God .

Two different Jesus in my view !

I read the KJV , not into other versions . Thanks for your attention to truth .

Gerald Your scripture reference was given long before the deity of Christ was questioned and the context of what Paul wrote was explaining who he received the gospel from they were not believing what he was saying. He taught them the Gospel and in Galatians 3:1 Who hath hindered you that you should not obey the truth. That's the context.

( 2 Timothy 2:15)? Precious friends, please consider, if you will, this "VERY Brief" Intro!:

"Prophecy/Law" {earthly} Christ And The TWELVE apostles, gospel of the kingdom, ISRAEL prominent {past/future} - Question: Is This "God's pattern" for us today? Or:

Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From "Things That DIFFER!":

"Mystery/GRACE!" {Heavenly!} Gospel Of GRACE, Jew And Gentile "Equal!" {Current, Today!} for The Body Of CHRIST! CHRIST, And ONE apostle TO THE GENTILES!

    Is this our Godly "Pattern to follow!" ( 1 Timothy 1:16) compare: ( 1 Corinthians 4:16) ( 1 Corinthians 11:1)?

Please be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, and Edified, on your journey "Approved Unto God!" Amen?

Brother S Spencer, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

I know you believe I spiritalize every thing to much, but I believe that's were the real truth lies.

Daniel 12:11 And from the TIME the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the ABOMINATION THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP (both at the same time), there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days (42 months, the period of Christ ministry in the flesh, first coming).

I agree with you about the FIRST abomination in the temple (all physical).

I BELIEVE, the SECOND time will be in the SPIRITUAL TEMPLE (within us).

The daily sacrifice was taken away (at the same time) and the abomination that maketh desolate (sinful flesh is enmity to Spirit) set up (at the SAME TIME); at Christ death and resurrection.

Isaiah 65:4 (This verse isn't LITERAL; like the first abomination, but a shadow of the second). Which remain among the graves (dead in trespasses), and lodge in monuments (we want to be a god in our flesh), which eat swine's flesh (instead of Christ flesh) (symbolic). and broth of abominable things IS IN their vessels (WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, we are the bowls (pots or vessels) on the alter).

At the end of your comments you said the second abomination that makes desolate would be "LIKE" the first. I don't know whether you were saying the second would also be in a physical temple, or was

like the first, being a shadow.

1 Corinthians 15:46 First the natural, then the spiritual.

Food for thought; the SPIRIT reveals.
