Isaiah says "come let us reason together..."

This comment room is a discussion, not a competition; which is a spirit. The opposite of reasoning is dissension.

Let us be spiritual and discerning.

I do not know Hebrew and Greek, and I appreciate those who do. I defer to their competence.

    1 Peter 1:22

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

    1 Peter 3:8

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

    Galatians 5:13

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

    1 John 3:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

    1 Thessalonians 5:25

    Brethren, pray for us.

I find it helpful to read Commentaries to see what others thought, on certain passages. In the Book of Genesis, it greatly helps to be studying out of a KJV Bible Study/Reference Bible. The ones with a CENTER OF EACH PAGE reference column.

I pause and read the references to other like references for additional information and prophecies (fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled). It takes inner resolve to do extra studying to see the Whole Picture of a certain event. THEN I ASK the Holy Spirit to teach how it applies to the Church today. I don't buy books written by individuals. We've been given God the Holy Spirit to teach us. That's one of His Ministries to the Body of Christ: teach, reprove, convict, comfort, heal, oil of joy.

    God bless us, Mishael

Why do some people try to change the bible holy bible of Jesus Christ written in hebrew is hard to find but I noticed some of the words have been removed and or replace with man's understanding or word they found to discredit the right words.can you explain

I'm not sure how all these verses prove how evil we all are? But salvation in Christ is spoken of in detail in 2 Corinthians 5 (whole chapter) and in other places in the New Testament. But let me deal with the first quote you gave which says:

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Genesis 6:5

Now Noah found an exception with God. So, it is noted that he was a just man and perfect in his generations ( Genesis 6:7-9). In fact, he was the only man worth saving.

I won't go into all the other verses you mentioned because some of them are the words of kings (not God) and some of them relate to man in general (not all men).

The brazen serpent was made so if men looked at it after being bitten he would not die. If men look to the cross and unto Jesus that man will not die. That is why Jesus likened himself to be like the brazen serpent.

Jesus was not made of sinful flesh. But the flesh is not that important. It is the remission of blood that atones for sin. Jesus as all of us, had His Fathers blood. A child is normally born with his father's blood. That is why they prove paternity with blood test.

Because Jesus had God's blood He was sinless and He shed his sinless blood to atone for our sins. This is the victory. It had little to do with his sinless flesh. Jesus had no sin. He kept himself through His whole life. He was therefore the perfect sacrifice.

Jesus couldn't stay dead because He was perfect and God gave Jesus power to lay down his life and take it up again.

We execute people for killing other people because God told us to in Genesis 9:6 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

So, yes it is just to execute a man for killing another man.

I hope this helps you to understand.

Nimrod died in a hunting accident and was alive during the time of Abraham. He wanted to have Abraham killed because of the prophecies surrounding him. When he discovered Abraham to be alive as an adult he cast Abraham and his brother into a fiery furnace. Abraham like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked in the fire and walked out of the furnace. His brother was not so fortunate.

There is nothing in Ecclesiastes that says to disobey Christ. What specifically are you talking about? In fact, nothing in the bible anywhere says to disobey Christ. I think there may be a misunderstanding.

Hello RLW, thanks for your comment, but what you said is untrue. Read Genesis 2:16-17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." - these are the words of God. You said God didn't say that, but I'm reading it with my own eyes and can't deny what I'm reading. Do you still hold this opinion that "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying..." is Eve saying it instead of the LORD God as it says?

From the day Adam ate it he was condemned to death. Today, we age and deteriorate until we die. There is no evidence that they aged prior to that. For example, Adam was created as an adult, not a baby.

There are many stories in the bible. I've read the bible many times. I never counted how many stories nor would I want to. The bible is a history of Israel and God's relationship to Israel. It spans from the beginning of time to the end of time.

    Adam,

If I may disagree, Adam was earthy, mortal from his creation. ( 1Corinthians 15:47-49). God did not say he would die, that is what Eve said. God said surely die, in Hebrew, the words "surely die" are (mo-wt to-Mut) which are similar words used twice, denoting finality. How can an immortal die? Only in the lake of fire.

Death passed from the first Adam, what death, spiritual, and eternal. We are appointed once to die because we are mortal. What is the penalty of sin is it physical or eternal death? What life do we have in Jesus the last Adam? What scripture says Adam was immortal?

May we walk in the Spirit of truth.

Brother Glenn, you are right, in this flesh NO ONE is equal to God; but when we depart this flesh the ONLY thing that remains is SPIRIT.

    John 4:14 God is Spirit.....

Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY, and ONE SPIRIT ....

Christ died for us; WE (ourselves, flesh) have to die (be destroyed) for Christ (Spirit).

1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, and the POWER of our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such a one (flesh) unto Satan for the DESTRUCTION of the flesh, that the SPIRIT MIGHT BE SAVED in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Isaiah 9:20 An he (flesh) shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he (flesh) shall eat on the left hand, and they (flesh) shall not be satisfied: they (flesh) shall eat every man the flesh of their own right hand.

Isaiah 49:26 And I (Spirit) will feed them with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and ALL FLESH shall know that I the Lord (Spirit) am thy SAVIOUR and thy REDEEMER, the mighty one of Jacob.

Ecclesiastes 4:5 The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his on flesh.

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the ABUNDANCE OF the REVELATIONS, there was given me a THORN IN THE FLESH, (which is) the messenger of Satan (flesh) to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

James T Furbert An example of God answering prayer from the heart, In 1 Samuel 1 man named Elkanah had two wives Hannah and Peninnah,Peninnah bear him children but Hannah didn't. In eastern culture if you can't bear children you are looked down on with disgrace, in verse 7 it says she wept and did not eat you think this wasn't eating at her. Verse 10 Hannah was in the temple of the lord was in bitterness of soul prayed unto the Lord and wept sore. Next verse she vowed a vow and made a commitment very specific here my affliction remember me and give me a man child and I will commit Him to you. Eli the priest marked her mouth that means to observe, then Eli thought she was drunk Hannah corrects him then the answer to her prayer verse 17 Then Eli said Go In peace and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast ask of Him. Next verse Let thine handmade find grace in thy sight, {anything given by God is grace} so the woman went her way and did eat and her countenance was no more sad. God answered in abundance, she gave birth to Samuel a prophet of the most high but, also you read in 2 Samuel 2;21 she bore three more sons and two daughters tremendous answer to prayer because God saw her Heart and new she would carry out what she vowed. Something to think about God Bless

    Hey Ronald,

Good name, we have a high priest who knows our infirmities because Jesus was tempted just like we are, but He lived a perfect life. We see in ( Daniel 9:21) the speed angels can travel, from wherever Gabriel was, even if he was in heaven before Daniel had finished his prayer Gabriel showed up. It is like time and space do not have any bounds on them. If he came from heaven, I'm not sure we could even calculate how many miles that would be.

All through the Bible, we see the power angels have and can relay visions like the angel took John many places and showed him visions in Revelation. Angels can operate in our physical realm in a physical body and the invisible realm. I agree with you, our defense is scripture as it is written, and our faith in Jesus. Jesus's name is above every name.

    God bless.

Hello, actually what God said was true: Adam died. He was immortal before, then after his sin became mortal and died. Some think he also had a spiritual death. God didn't say when he'd die, so people falsely assume it would be within an arbitrary timeframe. You also falsely assumed he would die in the garden. These are both false assumptions based on not on scripture. God bless.
  • Paul hill on Genesis 5 - 4 years ago
Adam did not die in the garden as God promised because God sacrificed an animal in his place tp clothe him.. A substitutional sacrifice.. Jesus fore runner. God was very specific, when he told Adam on the day that he ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, on that day... he would die.. The reason he did not was because an animal died in his place.

  • Ronald L Whittemore - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hi now English Sacha,

( Exodus 3:13-15) I AM THAT I AM ehyeh asher ehyeh He who becometh, I will be what I will be, and all those you listed. All of them can be a proper translation of ehyeh asher ehyeh. Moses asked God for a His name because he knew Israel would want proof that God has sent him, and if Moses could tell them Gods name it would be good. Instead, God promised them, I AM THAT I AM. He would become whatever they needed Him to become.

Just as He can do for us, your trust in the brother is well placed.

    God bless,

The Lords Prayer. Pause on each verse and add your thoughts, requests, thanks, worship, help, confession, to wear the Armor of God against enemies, power and wisdom, mercy and Grace.

In your own words, and then be silent before God and Listen with your spirit.

Precious friend, James, I would suggest Main Focus to be on this, while lying "prostrate Before God":

Is not the Solution to Confusion recognizing God's Differences Between "HIS Relationship With us," And "our fellowship with HIM!"?

God's Will, Today, Under HIS PURE GRACE? Very Simply:

    (1) God Establishes HIS Eternal Relationship With those who humbly:

believe, 100% trust, place Total faith, In The LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS Death {Precious BLOOD}, Burial, And HIS Resurrection, According To The Scriptures! ( 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) ( Ephesians 2:8-9) ( Romans 3-5)

"GRACE Through faith" In The Merits Of HIS Precious And ALL-Sufficient BLOOD Results:

All sins Forgiven, HIS Eternal Life, And, Peace With God! {This Is Eternal DELIVERANCE From the PENALTY of sin!} ETERNAL Justification First, And, THEN:

    (2) The believer SHOULD do "good works" {Which will NEVER EQUAL CHRIST's PAYMENT For the above PENALTY of sin!}, for Which we Are Created In CHRIST JESUS, to perform for HIM, having "been Called into fellowship With HIM!" Amen?:

We "work out OUR OWN salvation" {This SHOULD Be a lifetime of DELIVERANCE From the POWER of sin!} Sanctification:

(2a) Fulfil ALL Of His Law, In "ONE Word: LOVE your neighbor as yourself!" ( Galatians 5:14) ( Romans 13:8-10)

(2b) Study HIS Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, to show yourself Approved Unto God! ( 2 Timothy 2:15) - Have Plenty of examples of this, if you wish...

Eternal Results: reward {or loss} ( 1 Corinthians 3 : 7-15), ruling and reigning With CHRIST, Which Will FINALLY Be At The Judgment Day:

    (3) CHRIST's GLORIFICATION of All "members" Of HIS Body!! {This Is Eternal DELIVERANCE From the PRESENCE of sin!} Amen?

    ----------------------------------

    Conclusion:

BIG Differences Between God's Relationship And our fellowship! Correct?
