    Hey S Spencer,

It is amazing, there was 1656 years from Adam to the flood with only 7 chapters of scripture, all that was going on before the flood with the sons of God, giants and even after the flood there were giants. The description of these giants (Nephilim) and (Rephaim or Rephaites), are not just tall people. The name of these people means "terrible ones". How would we take them if they were on earth today? Call the doctor!

May we walk in the Spirit of truth.

A lot of words were written there with the goal of disobeying Jesus? I would think Christ followers would be excited to obey Christ. The Bible clearly says to be baptized. It's not complicated. Acts 2:38

Put another way, there's no downside and only upside to obeying Christ and being baptized, right? So, why all the effort to justify disobeying and convince others to do the same?

Is Nimrod mentioned in the Apocrypha? If so where?

Sister Dianne, I didn't say it was instant. Being sanctified by the words of God take our physical lifetime; but we can know TRUTH NOW of what is to come.

Brother Rick: God is ACCOUNTABLE for his CREATION. This is why before the foundations of the world were laid, Christ was predestinated to REDEEM creation.

Romans 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Romans 9:19 Thou will say unto me, why then doth he yet find fault (why does he say we sin when he is causing everything)? For who has resisted his will (no one has resisted his will, most do not BELIEVE ( Philippians 2:13) he is causing them to do HIS WILL)?

Romans 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter POWER over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel of HONOUR and another unto DISHONOUR?

Because creation was made this way ( Romans 8:20) by God, and God is ACCOUNTABLE to his CREATION, he has SENT his SON to REDEEM CREATION.

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness OF TIMES he might gather together IN ONE all things IN CHRIST .......

Man says God isn't going to be accountable to creation, but instead condemn them to Hell. God's word says he will be accountable to creation.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father SENT the SON to be SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.

BY DEFINITION you CANNOT be the saviour of the world; without, SAVING THE WORLD.

Ronald Good stuff Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Nice comment, its never a flesh and blood fight, its always against the word and Gods People. God Bless

Hi Rick the only problem with your equation is God is the only righteous, just, eternal, all knowing and all powerful and omnipresent being that being said there is no judge above God. Also the only way to God is through Jesus Christ Romans 10:9+10, your choice believe it or not. God Bless P.S. the earth did not become this way because of God 2 Corinthians 4:4-6 is your bad Guy, known as satan.

I'm in the same position as far as age. I think the strongest thing we can do is make the atmosphere of our home DIFFERENT. I do that by planning other activities that DO NOT include television or video games. Plan something. Board games are still fun. He's 8 but we still like the competition of go fishing game. :D Skip Bo, puzzles, horseshoes, Nerf target shooting in the house with big plastic drinking cups (rainy days)

We talk to each other. I never lecture him. I tell him, "hey I'm older and wiser now...ask me ANYTHING." "What do YOU think about how the world is doing these days?" "How would you change it." Stuff like that.

We pray together, "my turn then your turn". Just simple subjects and replies.

I have an Apple TV box and YouTube Premium; plus PUREFLIX (all christian movies). If your grandson leans to violence...YouTube has Christian Movies Too. Search: Revelation Station

The central theme is the Book of Revelation. There is no sex, but plenty of action. There are other movies too: Apostle Paul, Book of John, Genesis, Noah's Ark and lots more.

I have on hand, caramel popcorn and good snacks. I do ask his parents to leave the I-Pad and video games AT HOME.

Kids RETREAT into fantasy games and are cut off from their surroundings, people and what the family is doing. With some skill and your full attention, you can bring them back to the family circle. Don't ignore them or send them to another room.

We only have 18 years to impact this life. God cares very much how we do this. They need to know God hears their every prayer and request. Tell them what "request" is. Christian Programming is less violence, but if we devote our full attention to sharing time together; that is what they REALLY DESIRE. Time and hugs.

Don't lecture. Listening to what THEY COMMENT on to get clues on how to Pray for them. Get in the closet and pray for them; do some Ephesians 6, warfare prayers for all family members. Make life count.

Earl I do understand your scripture but you are saying that when we get born again we instantly think like Christ then why do we still sin, because if we had perfect spiritual minds we would have perfect spiritual thoughts and walk by the spirit perfectly, then why does it say in Romans 12:2 Renew your mind, also your Right it says let this mind be in you it doesn't say it's instant, also 2 Corinthians 10:5 bring every thought to the obedience of Christ. The apostle Paul wrote about it in Romans 7:15-23 in verse 23 he says warring against the law of my mind. There's an old saying ideas capture men not weapons. Our weapon is the word retained in our minds which is developed as we walk on the word the spirit is perfect. We still battle with the old man nature or human reasoning it must be brought to obedience by us putting on the Love of God in Christ. If this is what your saying. okay God Bless

Amen Bro. Earl Bowman i enjoy reading your post. We gotta keep the new birth in mind from that heavenly Seed . which is a Hint that we are gona birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. GOD The CHILD OF Promise ,unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in. In both case Psalms 82 and Matthew 13 he is saying something to us that is gonna result in a birth making us Gods. His words ( conversation ) are gonna initiate a BIRTH OF Christ in us which is the H.G. THE Child of Promise and the H.G is truly God. ( Emamuel ) God with us. I will KNOW them all from the least to the greatest which is an intimacy that is gonna result in a birth of Christ in us. Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name Receiveth me . The very fact that Jesus tells us the Kingdom of God is gonna be with in US Proves we are gonna be Gods . The Kingdom of God in all its GLORY IS NOTHIN LESS THEN GOD. PERIOD. The Marriage supper of the Lamb is gonna gonna make us 1 with our God which is the H.G. Emanuel God with us.

We are evil ,Genesis ch6 v5 and ch8 v21 , these are God's words . Also 1st Samuel ch16 , 2nd Kings ch6 v33 and Job Ch2 V10 . Matthew ch7 v11 , Mark ch7 v21 and John Ch2 v24&25 . The serpent isn't some kind of supernatural evil being , Jesus likens himself to the brassen serpent , if you know what that's about , why would Jesus do that ? The serpent is sinfull flesh , the brassen serpent is the fore shadow of Jesus . Jesus lived a sinless life even though he was made of the same sinfull flesh that we are , sinfull flesh was crucified , Jesus was victorious over his own sinfull flesh , this is his victory . Death is the wages if sin , Jesus couldn't stay dead because he was victorious over his own sinfull flesh in that he did no sin .James Ch1 v 12-15 . It's very simple . Why can't we accept responsibility for our sinfullness , if a murderer claimed in court that the devil made him do it , do we let him off ? We execute people , do we do that because we believe the devil made them do it or because they chose themselves to do it ? Should we execute people if they are not totally responsible for their actions ? We don't kill the devil , we kill a human . Is that any kind of justice ?

    Sister Dianne:

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be IN YOU, which was ALSO IN Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be EQUAL with God.

Romans 8:7 But the carnal mind is enmity against God .....

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that we may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Mark, Precious friend, there is NO water baptism, today, Under God's GRACE. ie:

Does God Require water baptism, today? IF yes, then, we have to find out WHICH of the Many Various "denominational traditions" is the Correct one, Correct?

However, IF God Says "NO," as I believe All Scripture Shows below, then "yes" is OUT of the question, yes?:

"Summary study" on this Important Issue:

Prophecy/Law for ISRAEL: The Twelve Were Sent to water baptize!

The TWO Main, of 12 baptisms =

    A) water, For remission of sins/induction into Israeli "priesthood!" ( Matthew 3:5-6) ( Mark 1:4) ( Luke 3:3) ( John 1:31) ( Luke 7:29-30) ( Acts 10:37) ( Matthew 28:19) ( Mark 16:16) ( Acts 2:38) ( Acts 22:16) ( Ezekiel 36:25) ( John 18:35) ( Exodus 19:6)

    +

    B) WITH The Holy Spirit, Poured Out By CHRIST, for power, signs And wonders! ( Isaiah 44:3) ( Matthew 3:11) ( Mark 1:8) ( Mark 16:17-18) ( Luke 24:49) ( Acts 2:17-18) ( Acts 2:38) ( Acts 8:15-17) ( Acts 11:16)

    Prophecy/Law

Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From Things That Differ!:

Mystery/GRACE! = our "apostle to the Gentiles" for The Body Of CHRIST:

Paul Was Not Sent to {water} baptize! Why Not?:

Today: Only ONE Baptism = "BY" The ONE Spirit = God's OPERATION,

Spiritually Identifying members In (The ONE Body Of) CHRIST!!

    ( Ephesians 4:5) ( Colossians 2:12) ( Galatians 3:27) ( Romans 6:3-4)

    ( 1 Corinthians 12:13)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conclusion: God's ONE Baptism Today? = ONE OR, EQUALS TWO?

Is it not Possible That God's Answer Of "No water baptism, for us Today," Under HIS Pure GRACE, absolutely vanquishes the {Many Severely DIVIDED denominations?} Confusion into oblivion!? Also, "...we walk By FAITH, Not by sight..." ( 2 Corinthians 5:7) Amen?

Mark, Precious friend, Please be Richly Encouraged, enlightened, exhorted, and edified!

Howard We all in your terms give in so to speak, no man except Jesus Christ ever walked perfectly by the Spirit, as Paul outlined in Romans 7:14-25 we all deal with it. On the bright side we are forgiven by God through what Jesus Christ accomplished now the challenge to walk by the spirit is doing it is written. I don't dwell on what I do not do right also Paul in Philippians 3: 13, forget the past, that doesn't mean don't learn from it, don't dwell on it. A person who does a 300 yard dash doesn't in the middle of the race turn His head to look back. Just food for thought. In the end do the best you can then Philippians 2:13.

Sister dianne, nothing is out of context. i quoted 1 timothy 5:16 and 1 corinthians 15:38. that is the resurrected body.

1 timothy 6:16 who (christ) only hath immortality (life with no end).....

1 corinthians 15:38 but god giveth it (the elect) a body.....and to every (elect) his (christ) own body.

you are the body of christ.

    he is the resurrection.

Hi , I bite my tongue so much , I start to read a post on here and I get so far into it and I just have to stop . I think some people just want to be liked and to not rock the boat so they go along with what other people say , I also think that some people don't trust their own intelligence , God is not the author of confusion , what He wants us to know He tells us , if He hasn't said it it's not for us to just make stuff up , the Bible , THE BIBLE is our teacher , there really is enough in there to keep us busy rather than excercising our own imaginations on stuff that contradicts the Bible , the Bible is our teacher , that's why God gave it to us, to help us learn about and draw closer to Him , Hosea Ch 4 is so important , and we r so easily decieved by our own proud vain sinful nature . Me too , I include myself 100 per cent , truth comes only from God and I can find Him in the Bible and no where else , the Bible is the only thing I trust .

    Saints equal with God?

I am curious to know where you encountered this concept.

To be equal with God we must first judge God's value and merit.

One quick response is that the Jews sought to stone Jesus when they perceived His claim of equality with God, as in John 5:18.

    Also look at

I John 3:20 - God is greater than our hearts

Psalm 61:2 - God is higher than us

Psalm 89:27 - God will make Christ higher than the kings of the Earth

Ecclesiastes 5:8 - God is higher than the highest

    If you will know them by their fruits, let's look to our ways;

Isaiah 55:9 - God's ways are infinitely higher than ours

Job 15:6 - We are unclean

Isaiah 64:6 - NOTHING we do could measure up to God's righteousness

That is a very big and significant thing to say, to claim anyone as an equal with God.

As a comparison, there is one very heretical sect which believes we will judge God.

Clearly, just based upon the references I have listed, their claim is not the least bit credible.

Such statements cannot stand of their own merit nor of that of their speaker.

Equality with God or standing in judgment of God would be enormous claims requiring substance to back them up.

Big claims are either big truths or big falsehoods. Not everyone can determine the difference.

You may or may not be a great theologian or an academic authority.

Even such titles wouldn't be enough for a common joe like me.

Being that this is a Biblical site, answers of that magnitude carry credibility only when they are backed by Scriptural reference.

    Otherwise;

If I wanted to debate you, it would be difficult because I don't see here where your basis is or how to clarify a dissent.

If I wanted to agree with you, well, again, your basis is not shown, so I would be at some degree of loss in composing a reply.

On any subject, but especially such a profound claim, let authority be Sola Scriptura and let Scripture interpret Scripture.

Hi Chris Here's some stuff to think about in the strongs concordance and the young's analytical biblically the word was does not exist. Now when used in the bible some times they italicized it and some times they didn't. In Genesis 1:2 It says the earth was [not italicized] without form and void and darkness was [italicized] upon the face of the deep. I'm aware that there's times when the translators are correct and sometimes they weren't. Not saying the bible is wrong translation has nothing to do with what holy men spake years ago as they were moved by holy spirit .Peter 1:20+21 Just a conversation piece. Anyone invited God Bless

Cheries Jeremiah 10 It is very interesting that you mention nimrod his name means rebel and its says he was a mighty hunter the lord the word mighty is lipene that word means in the face of or defiant before God. When you read about this guy he was absolutely defiant against the true God. In the bible the number 3 means complete God mentions therefore in context he was completely defiant. When you read about him historically he was a real piece of work and all if not most of false belief systems of the world eminated from his kingdom. I like how God intervened at the tower of babel which was part of Nimrods kingdom and broke it up. God Bless P.S. There is much more to this guy than whats written.
