I'm a United States citizen. Can I do something or is it already too late? I see the headlines and the things happening. It appears to me that a lot of people have lost their minds. I pray God forgives us, although I'm not sure how you can change the way some of these people think over here. The state of this once beautiful nation saddens me greatly. I'm honestly scared of what is about to happen. I hope it doesn't go dark on us... A nation that was first founded on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It seems that's all changed now, most people that I know don't even read the Bible like they ought to. Dark times are approaching my friends.

We see, yet we are blind.

We hear, yet we do not listen.

    We have lost it.

Amen. I agree with you. I tried to evangelize with an atheist friend and it seemed like everything backfired. He didn't fear God. I realized he felt like he was god himself and felt entitled to things and felt he deserved things and felt that morality was just whatever he wanted. I think someday when people get in the presence of God they will truly be afraid, especially when they are confronted with their own sin and evil choices. They will have no excuse and will probably weep endlessly with regret. If only some would learn sooner before its too late.

The only true reality that stops the darkness of the world from getting worse is the light of Christ Radiating out of us who choose to believe and walk in that light.

    I was always tought this:

    God is God.

    God is Jesus.

    Jesus is Jesus.

    Jesus is God.

    God is The Holy Spirit.

    Jesus is The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is The Holy Spirit.

    The Holy Spirit is God.

    The Holy Spirit is Jesus.

Since you know the whole Trinity thing. Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit.

I think this chapter in particular is a vision that Isaiah had. Sort of like when John had his vision that led to him writing Revelation.

Just a thought. I hope I got that right. I dread being a bearer of false information. Can someone check to make sure this is right?

    Hi David,

I hope you don't mean you're actually forced. If you live in the US and you take the injection that is your own choice. Yes, you can lose your job, but isn't that better than losing your life? If you're dead why would you care if you had your job another few days. There's actually a big labor shortage and easy to get a job right now. Unfortunately tens of thousands are now dead from the injection and half a million had adverse effects. Evil media and evil government are telling people to get something that has killed more than all other vaccines combined in the history of the US. A few deaths from a vaccine made it stop altogether, but now people are brainwashed into thinking tens of thousands dead is no big deal- that's multiples more than our worst terrorist attack, but people don't mind it? I won't continue, because there's so much I can say that just makes this seem so dark and so evil that it would almost have to come from a demonic source. People's families have been destroyed by this. Everything on TV about it are lies. I'm only saying this hoping it can save your life. I wish others cared more and showed more empathy towards those who can't afford to die from the injection. The injection has a higher death rate than covid and people are willingly taking the injection assuming an untested unapproved rNA thing is somehow good for them. Pray before you take it. So many people thought it would be fine and now are dead. If this comment saves one life, praise Jesus. This injection is not from God. God bless.

I believe that a pastor or teacher of Gods word,.. can be a woman, just as much ( if not more at times ! ). There were many good women pastors an teachers, in the Bible,.. Debbie was definitely,. One to be told about,.. she not only taught, but she lead the army of Israel in to battle

    Thank you sister.

It's a constant battle but I know that God is faithful and true and even though I may walk through the waters and fire he won't let me drown or get burned. It's very hard to keep patient sometimes. I'm not going to lie. I cry every day to him and will admit that because I don't want my family to fade eternal fire and brimstone but be reborn by the lambs blood of life. Thank you so much and may God continue to bless y'all

    Part 2:

Then given to hospitality. The word hospitality comes from a compound Greek word that means to love or be fond of strangers. This does not mean to pick up strangers off the street and invite them into your home. Back then, the believers who were traveling from out of town, they were referred to as strangers. And other believers were to show hospitality by opening up their homes and giving these other believers a place to stay.

And lastly, apt to teach. And it literally means have the ability to teach. An overseer, and especially a pastor, must be able to teach God's word. Not give to wine means don't even be associated with it. Filthy lucre means do not desire or be greedy of shameful gain. So a person who is put in a position of leadership in the church should not desire the material things of the world.

Verse 4 says one that ruleth well his own house. So this tells us that this is a man and he has to be married. Verse 6 says not a novice. Some interpret novice as a new believer. But the word for novice has to do with agriculture. It has to do with a sprout that is growing out of the ground. It's the condition of early seedlings popping the sprouts up. They're young in their growth. The root system hasn't developed yet, and the plant is not old enough to bear fruit or the flower.

So the scripture says not a novice, lest having been puffed up with pride he shall fall into the judgment of the devil, condemnation of the devil. There's nothing that Satan loves more than to see a believer in their weakness fall into sin, right up in front of everybody because they're a leader in the church. And what Satan does is he brings condemnation down on that person.

    Linda,

The scripture does not make any mention of seminary school, but those going in the ministry should be well learned in the scripture before assuming such a role. Many go into the ministry often fail due to a lack of sound biblical knowledge. I would like to share what the biblical qualifications are for a pastor. I'll have to do this in two parts.

    Part 1:

A pastor must meet the biblical qualifications. 1 Timothy 3:1-7 gives instruction concerning overseers (Pastors). The King James uses the word bishop. It is the word EPISKOPOS and it is where we get our word Episcopalian from. EPI is over, and SKOPOS means to scope or to see. So a pastor is an overseer.

In Acts Chapter 20, the overseer is also interchangeable with elder and with pastor. The overseer (Pastor) is responsible for the overseeing of the church to make sure it functions in the order that God has it in. But verses 1-7 gives us the qualifications of a pastor.

First of all, he must be blameless, which means unimpeachable. He must be the husband of one wife. This tells us that a pastor must be a man. The Greek text reads a little differently. It reads "a one woman man." He must be a one woman man, faithful!

He must be vigilant. That means attentive, to be watching, because Satan is always on the prowl. Then it says sober. This has to do with sober mindedness. It has nothing to do with alcohol or that type of sobriety. It means to have a frame of mind that thinks in wisdom and facts according to God.

Next: to be of good behavior. Some people would be eliminated right there. But good behavior comes from the Greek word KOSMION, like cosmetics, and it means to have an orderly lifestyle, disciplined and orderly.

When we speak/preach God's Word we are prophets(men who speak for God) as did the Old Testament prophets. Paul instructed these babes in Christ how to speak(known human tongues/languages) in the assembly/church. Please note: verse 32- states that the spirits of the prophets( not the Holy Spirit)are subject to the prophets. When we speak for God(out of His Word) we are not possessed and taken control of like demoniacs or those with an unclean spirit would be. The phenomenon in some circles called "slain in the spirit" where allegedly they claim that the Holy Spirit takes total control and the host(the person who experiences this is under the anointing of the Holy Spirit) is not possible because here in verse 32 the Holy Spirit speaks thru Paul who tells the church at Corinth they are subject to their spirits when they speak for God.

In my opinion the beast is just an incarnation of satan who does exist and I think 666 is already the number, so I personally, will watch out for anything resembling that. I don't expect to see something like godzilla trashing cities, but perhaps less obvious using some kind of technology that does just as much damage. There have been interesting movies made involving humans vs machines that could be plausible for another end-of-world scenario.

I just put out the question to see the responses-- Kenites are descendants of Cain- those who are of their father- the serpent-

Moses' FIL was not a Kenite- he lived in Kenite lands- but was of the Adamic line-Like being from, say, England and being English by blood- but living in California

And the Kenites became the scribes for the house of Judah and that is where all the misinterpretations of the Bible started

  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 13:16 - 4 years ago
    Marco,

Knowing that the Holy Spirit dwells in the lives of every believer who has been born of the Spirit, what you are saying makes perfect sense. The reason why this world is not in complete chaos right now is because there is a force that is keeping it from being in that state, and that force is God's Spirit. But once that force is removed (Christ removing His church), there will be nothing holding back the chaotic events described in the book of Revelation. While chaos is taking place on the earth, believers will be celebrating at the wedding feast prior to coming back with the Lord at His second coming.

    Thank you for your post!

My question is that listening to the teaching of the Bible it sounds so sad that if they didn't obey the Lord the punishment was always deaf why couldn't it have been a less harsh punishment than that because at the same time the Bible says that to repent and God will forgive you and that he is a forgiving God

    Resonse to Jeannie/Forgiveness,

God gave us direct commandments through his son. "And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloued Son, heare him." Listen to him, a direct commandment from God.

Jesus said, If ye love me, keep my commandments. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

The first step in wisdom is to fear the Lord. If people sought God diligently with there whole heart, they would learn of him. True love and fear would come through there heart as a spring of flowing water. Going back to the beginning the OT, beginning to end will give you knowledge but God gives you understanding.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" again a warning to acknowledge.

Forgiveness and how crucial it is, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Enter ye in at the strait gate, for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which goe in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth vnto life, and few there be that finde it.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, haue we not prophecied in thy name? and in thy name haue cast out deuils? and in thy name done many wonderfull works?

And then will I professe vnto them, I neuer knew you: Depart from me, ye that worke iniquity.

Therefore, whosoeuer heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him vnto a wise man, which built his house vpon a rocke:

First step in wisdom is to fear the LORD.

    Teresa,

Psalm 127:3 says, " Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

The word heritage in the Greek is the word KLERONOMIA which translated into English means gift.

No Adam didn't have a second wife. That question comes up often with no scripture support. Can you share if you have heard or perhaps feel otherwise?
