S Spenser , I think maybe I used too many words in order to get my point across , my point is that adding to God's words and thereby creating doubt and uncertainty ,gave the serpent (sin in the flesh ,disobedience to God's simple commandment ) , a foot in the door and he was able to lead Eve astray . Hi julie There's a study that was extensively done that the description in Rev. 12:1 Is the Exact desciption astronomically of The Star of Bethlehem in its location in the heavens that the magi saw and brought them to the messiah. The star of bethlehem was actually a massing of 4 planets in the constellation of libra. The magi were astronomers who were in depth at studying astronomy, not astrology. Psalm 19:1-6. God originally named all the heavens including constellations. There is not enough room here to get into more detail. They saw the sign in the heavens His Star He who was Born King of the Jews. Some food for thought.

Hi Ralph , you can start any where you want , the first few years of reading I just started at Genesis and read straight through to Revelation , now I read a couple of old testament books and then one new testament , I'm sure others will reply with some good advice ,it's up to you , enjoy .
