Is the term Hell the Jewish interpretation meaning the grave. I asked that because in revelations 21 God cast death and hell into hell. I see how death and the grave work together, but how can you literally cast hell into itself and maintain eternity

The victory has come and gone, leaving behind His holy presence in His word! Many wish to draw you away with an allusion not found in Him. Taking you elsewhere imagining you with some other thing!

While His children see these things, it is sure that this evil one has become weak, in that He has been revealed!

This evil one who rests on deception. He is the great deceiver!

He is right at home as many of us know! The world is his domain , He must somehow save it, for if it were to end his rest of days will be in hell!

The victory is in the power of God, and His sword is the spirit found in His word !

This the evil one cannot resist, it has gone out and will not return void! This is the victory we speak of! Found in the blood of the savior Jesus Christ.

RAY ---- ON HEBREWS 10:27. Hi Ray, this fear and trembling is because of possible devil possession. You have to fast and pray to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. You have not committed the unpardonable sin. When I was possessed I believed in the same thing. The devil wants you to believe this so he can devour you ( 1st Peter 5:8 ). Cast the devil out according to Matthew 17 : 19, 20, 21. May God Bless you for believing in all manner of the Judgements of God.

Being born again is very simple....First we must realize that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God....

    Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Sin is anything that goes against God's standards and rules...this goes from lying to thinking bad thoughts...to murder and sexual perversions..ect... God says there is a price for these sins...and that price is death...and not just our bodies dying because our bodies are only temporal on this earth...but our SOULS are eternal...so this death God speaks of is in terms of ones soul to be eternally separated from the God that created us in His image..SO Hell is the punishment for sin...

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BUT God!! Sent Jesus to pay our sin debt and it is a free gift to any that believe that Jesus died, rose, and is now at the Right Hand of the Father we also can live eternally with God..but we MUST KNOW we are sinners!! And just like a child that does something wrong seeks to be forgiven...we must seek the same from God through Jesus...with FAITH!!

    Romans 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Confess we KNOW Jesus as our Saviour!! Believe in our hearts we are sinful...but God loves us enough to have mercy on us...believe God raised Jesus up...and He WILL raise His children up as well...Jesus defeated death...God raised Him from the grave! He can give us rebirth!! IF we will just accept it! Praying God give you wisdom and understanding in this if you have never been born again!

Seeds imply a posterity, Abraham wanted a posterity, Children ( a nation ) came out of Abraham natural Israel and his seed became as the sands of the seas ,The Promise was only made to Abraham Issac and Jacob 3 Men. But these 3 men were the 1 singular Father of Israel . But they were Father Son and Granson and God Almighty tells Moses at the bush that he was the God of this Abraham Issac and Jacob and he said that was his NAME forever and my memorial to All Generations simply b/c there can not be a posterity a lineage a bloodline without Father son and Granson. Which is a metaphor for the Godhead, The very fact that we have a Father and a Son begs the question of a Granson and an Israel of God, Its God Almighty that wants a posterity , Thats y the sower ( the son ) wants to sow his Precious seed in humanity, Ya remember Jesus said that the good seed are the Children of the Kingdom , Gods Gransons via the H.G. Jesus offspring as that which is born of the spirit is spirit ya gotta realize that Jesus is not sowing any thing of this world, His seed is heavenly which is the H.G. SPIRIT Gods, to whom his Word came th living WORD it made them Gods . It became him by whom are all things to bring many sons into Glory. As David said he wd be the 1st born of many breathren which are Spirits the H.G. MANY AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN, I will multiply thy seed ( HIS OFFSPRING ) AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN A NEW INNERMAN IS GONNA BE BORN IN US VIA HIS SEED . Isaiah said he wd see his seed his offspring , He saw his seed, the H.G. WHEN HE BREATHE ON THEM, As his seed was his word his breath ,He was propagating very GOD when he breath on them . Remember God Almighty swore by himself when he made that Promise of multiplication of Christ SEED thus the sower and his seed etc Humanity is the world where he will sow his seed Thats y Jesus is saying to whom the word came it made them Gods remember God swore by himself when he made that great Promise of multiplication. Thus our new birth a new man

The Bible says that we as christians should gather ourselves with the saints! So my question is, is it mandatory that we go into the church( the building) to worship God? Because I was always taught that our bodies is the church!! And the sanctuary is just a building!

Hi Gertrude , I replied to you earlier but it must have got lost along the way , I hope you and all yours are ok , I noticed you didn't answer my question to everyone about wether or not the virus is a "sign of the times " or not ,it could be wishfull thinking on my part but I think it is , some one on here recently said that the Bible is alive and that made me tingle as that's how it's very much been for me especially this last year , I never thought that I had scales on my eyes but I must have had as I can see much more clearly now , it really feels alive to me and I'm very excited for the future , a little bit scared also as I think times are going to get tougher for most of us , if we live or die during the coming madness it doesn't matter as we know to whom we belong and where we are going , can't wait to meet you in person , Delta Dawn will be there too , big hugs in Christ .

Hi Jack. The blame that you place on the "Editors of the Bible" (or, translators), are actually in my mind, to their absolute credit for a very difficult tiring work.

Remember, they had to work through a lot of materiel, doing many comparisons against each other & of course, had to be proficient in those original languages. So, what we might see as a contradiction in the example you gave ( Acts 9:7 against Acts 22:9) because of our English words/expressions, could well be accurate by a direct translation from the original. If you check the word "voice" (as given in these verses) in the Greek, you'll find that it's the same word, "phonen". And that Gk. word is broad enough to have a meaning of: voice, sound, noise, language, applied to it. That being the case, the translators have understood that in Acts 9:7, those men heard a sound or noise but couldn't detect a language being spoken. They heard Saul talking as if into the air - they understood what he was saying, but all they heard in response was a sound.

Then please consider Deuteronomy 4:11-13. Again, the people who were gathered at the base of Mt. Sinai as Moses received the Decalogue, saw a burning mountain, thunderings, clouds & thick darkness (also Exodus 20:18). And out of that fiery mountain, the people heard "the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only (ye) heard a voice." (v12). Here, in Hebrew, the word for "voice" is 'qol', again meaning: a voice, a sound. We know that only Moses received God's Words directly which he conveyed to the people, so what then did the people hear & see?

Similarly, Acts 22:9 reveals the sound that they heard was only a sound - that the people with Saul couldn't decipher what they were hearing with any intelligible language. Paul understood as God gave him ears to hear & understand Him, but to the others, their ears were shut & they only heard noise. I hope that goes some way to sort out the confusion - if not to you, then to others.

Hello everyone, I'm having a hard time coping with what I'm seeing in the world. I'm seeing increasing oppression, especially by a political party that believes in authoritarianism and mass murder of babies and rewarding criminals while having no compassion for victims, even punishing and imprisoning them. It's really hard to comprehend and hard to deal with emotionally with such grave injustices. We are seeing the media deceiving people into believing lies instead of the truth and many people are dying unnecessarily from experimental injections. Risking death in order to avoid risking death. Unsensible things are happening that is hard to comprehend other than believing the world is under a firm grip of satan and people almost want to believe the lies and deny the truth. I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime and the voices of reason seem like only a whisper compared to the loud voices of evil. Does anyone know how a Christian should cope with this? It's at the point where if there's not any resistance to this I see a one world government taking over and mass murdering people- making Hitler look like a choir boy. I've never been one to believe in conspiracy theories, but I can't deny what is unfolding before my eyes. It's absolutely shocking to see countries that used to have morals and values just throw it all away. It's all wrapped in clever justifications that admittedly are very creative. But it seems few people realize what's truly behind the deceiving language. Can anyone relate to what I'm saying and should we all pray for revival or some kind of pushback to this or 'wait on the Lord'?

Brother Jesse. You're certainly not "rambling on". That was a spot on explanation of that verse & we all need to hear it & be reminded of it's Truth regularly - keeping our 'accounts' short with both God & man.

    Stephen,

I personally do not know what other version uses the words trespass and trespasses. It looks like you did a search of different translations but could not find the answer? The King James uses the words debts and debtors. That would be correct, as that is how it was originally written in the Greek text. It is the word OPHEILO. In Matthew 6:12, it says, "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." Again, that is a proper translation.

In the book of Philemon, Paul presented to Philemon that when you sin against God's justice system, you owe God. That's a debt. It's the same word, OPHEILO. It would be like owing on your credit card. The only difference is you can pay off your credit card debt. When we sin against God, we now are in debt to Him, and it is a debt we cannot pay. When we sin against God, we owe God. How are we going to pay the debt? Jesus came and paid the debt!

The correct translation from the original language would read "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors," as it is written in the King James. And there is a principle there in verse 12. The principle is that I'm dictating to God whether He is to forgive me for the sins that I am confessing or not, based on my forgiveness of other people and their sins. If I do not forgive them, I cannot ask God for my forgiveness. It doesn't work that way.

I'm sure I'm telling you things you probably already know. I'm just rambling on and sharing information. I would be curious to find out when it ever read trespass and why someone would have translated it that way?

    Delores,

It would be difficult in such a short space to summarize the entire chapter. I can share with you a few things and break down the outlines of the chapter for you if that helps. I can also share some key verses and some memorization verses. If there are any specific verses that you would like help on, I or someone else here might be happy to help you.

Chapter 12 can be broken down into five outlines: Verses 1-8, Eating Grain on the Sabbath, Verses 9-21, Healing on the Sabbath, Verses 22-37, Committing the Unpardonable Sin, Verses 38-45, Seeking of a Sign, and Verses 46-50, the Understanding of True Family.

Each of these five sections can be broken down separately as to the meaning of that particular section. Do you have any specific questions on any of these sections?

There are also some key verses in chapter 12. They are Matthew 12:3, which is recorded for us in 1 Samuel 21:1-6. Other key verses are Matthew 12:5, Matthew 12:7 which comes from Hosea 6:6, Matthew 12:17-21 which is the fulfillment of Isaiah 42:1-4 and Isaiah 49:3.

If you are into verse memorization, some verses to memorize in this chapter would be Matthew 12:8, Matthew 12:30-32, and Matthew 12:50.

I would love to go over the entire chapter with you but it would take more than one post. Again, if there are any particular sections or verses you would like to go over from chapter 12, please feel free to ask. I would be more than happy to share with you my understanding.

    HI Rebecca.

I agree with sister Dianne. Ephesians 2:8. For by grace are ye saved ( through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:)

I would like to add a verse or two.

1 John 2:2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation ""to every one that believeth;"" to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I suggest getting an understanding of Romans 5:1-21. Romans 6:1-23.

    and James 2:14-26.

    God bless

Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are CALLED, and CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

    Part 2.

    Wiles of the Devil.

THE GOSPEL IS WHAT SAVES!! That's where you start, spiritual growth comes afterward as you feed on the word, providing that the word you received is truth and you believe it. Your viewpoints should be shaped in this transaction. Spiritual fruit, unity, and gifts comes alone in the process. ALL WRAPPED IN LOVED. Unless you are a reprobate. 2 Corinthians 13:5.

    THERE IS THE KEY!

1 JOHN 3:10. In this the children of God are "MANIFEST", and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, NEITHER HE THAT LOVETH NOT HIS BROTHER.

IF YOU DONT CHRIST IS NOT IN YOU!

1 Corinthians 3:23-24. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

KEEP IN MIND THIS POST IS TO EXAMINE OURSELVES. MARK THOSE WHO ARE AGAINST THE FAITH, AND NOT ASSIST SATAN IN HIS WILES. BY MEASURING THE LOVE BETWEEN ONEANOTHER.

1 John 2:19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, THAT THEY MIGHT BE MADE MANIFEST THAT THEY WERE NOT ALL OF US.

Some persecute directly, some indirectly, SOME BEFRIEND EVERY PERSECUTER COME ON THE SITE!

John 15:17-20. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

    PERSECUTION

    THIS IS WITHIN OUR MIDST!

BE CAREFUL OF WHO YOU GIVE GOD SPEED TO!

    GOD BLESS

Delores Mathew 12:1-14 Going up against religious leaders at that time using scripture out of context and to there benefit and always accusing and condemning the common man. Also you better do things at the right time and the right place with there blessing. Also the chapter deals with controlling your thoughts with Gods word and what you speak. Thats some stuff, there's more there. This is not complete by any means.
