Hi Carlton From the context in Revelation concerning the 144,000 Gods Word states from 12,000 from each tribe of Israel, I.E. Rev. 4-8, the other those as the sands of the sea which cannot be numbered, the description is Rev.6:9-11 and Rev. 7: 9-17 now it does give specific time frames in revelation just descriptions of events. The description of those washed the white in the blood of the lamb gives me the understanding its talking about from pentecost age of grace, until the end of the age of grace reason you could not be washed in the blood until Jesus Christ was sacrificed, the only other people it could apply to would be people who try to believe after the church is taken up, but I'm not sure that would apply. Some really interesting stuff. Thanks for the sharing. Something else to consider as long as christians are in the world so is Christ but once we are gathered together, or resurrected no more church, question is this will it be available to be born again after Christ has gathered His Body the Church because that opens a different age? Just food for thought.

    Richard,

How could you know the heart of a true believer? Even though you are attacking my brothers and sisters in Christ and it is hard to remain silent, I will speak for myself. When I commit a sin, I don't blame Satan, even though he is the source of sin. I have myself to blame. Why? Because in my flesh, I am weak, and I give in. Every decision we make in life is based on who or what we love the most. We're faced with temptation and we have to make a decision when Satan tempts us. What are we going to do? Do we really love the Lord? Or, do we love the sin more? That's our choice. Again we make the choice based on who or what we love the most. Temptation to sin always comes from the devil. He is the source of all sin, and he deserves no credit, nor sympathy. Maybe I have missed something, but I have not seen anyone here blame the devil for their actions.

No offence, but you do not sound much like a person who is being led by God's Spirit. Again, I speak for myself. But you are accusing other believers here of being hypocrites when you have no way of knowing their hearts. Do we sin? Yes, but so do you! You say that "we are the ones that sin, and nobody else." Do you realize that your statement is excluding yourself? Do you not sin? You say "Typical humans, bs your way out of the mess you made." Well, if you are human, you're part of the mess you speak of.

I totally disagree with your last statement where you say "The thing you hate is in you, an indefinite sin maker." The sin maker you speak of is none other than Satan himself. I think every believer hates sin, or at least they should. But a true believer understands the sin principle and the source, and that source is NOT in a true believer. It is Christ that is in us, and it is Christ that we are to follow, even during times of temptation!

Even though I have myself to blame if I commit a single act of sin, I know I have an advocate with the Father. And I will never show any sympathy towards the devil!

I appreciate all you do too. I know we are ready to be Jesus's Body at this time. When I used to walk the sidewalks at night with a like-minded brother from our church; I'd think about our feet out there, walking for Jesus.

All smiles because we loved what we were doing. Even more so when people responded. On slow nights I'd give my homemade sandwiches to the homeless and listen to their testimonies.

You are such a blessing here.

    Thank you.

    OSEAS,

Let me guess, you bought your Bible in a Chinese thrift shop while a hurricane was blowing? I appreciate how you know everything and nothing at all. I don't mind being wrong, but the least you can do is reveal your end-time draft picks.
  • Mishael - In Reply - 4 years ago
I'm not Connie, but I still love that passage. I'm outside a lot, looking for God everywhere around me. I love how everything works together.

Only humans try to "re-wire" how things mesh and work. Even death.

We can hang out with him now. I guess tv, media, sports, just doesn't excite me much anymore. I do like to go bowling. I'm hoping for bowling alleys in heaven...and fishing.

    Jesus loves us!

Tell me you understand that the world has to go through anti-christ's 42 months of rule before reaching the end. You make it sound like Jesus will come at any moment, and that's just not the case. Congratulations if your seventh trumpet vision has you atop Mount Olives with Jesus and the other 143,999 saints.

Jesse that's why Jesus Christ said spirit is willing that which God Gave us is Perfect but the flesh is weak, perfect example King David had spirit upon Him but when he saw bathsheba it was bypassed so to speak. In the book of psalms David says to God take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Whats tremendous, look at Gods forgiveness this man orders the husband killed after committing adultery and after all that the Bible says David was still a man after Gods own heart. Talk about a Loving father that knows were going to blow it. Jesus Christ said it forgive 70 Times 7. God Bless

Thanks, Mountain Preacher, for sharing your testimony. That and this scripture is exactly what I needed to read this morning. Still not sure how long this unworthy feeling will last though...I feel horribly when I fall into sin, especially since I thought I was delivered, free, and would never do it again.

For consideration when I think the Spirit is Talking there's three categories it must fit. A. Gives God Glory B. Builds up or edifies body of Christ. c. Benefits the giver. Phil. 4:8

    Mishael,

Thank you for the things you share. Your heart is pure for the Lord, and your concern for the lost is quite evident, and it can only come from Him. I just read through your post and I too share your concern. I'm not sure if you ever heard Johnny Cash sing a song called Matthew 24, but that song just came to mind as I was reading your post. " Matthew 24 is knocking at the door....and there can't be too much more come to pass!" (Johnny Cash).

You are indeed a blessing to many who come here. The Lord is using you in great ways. Thank you again for everything you share!

    Misheal,

Sixth trumpet Jesus has given us the season, and the time of day that anti-christ will attack Israel. (thief)

Seventh trumpet Jesus no one knows, but anti-christ only has 1260-1335 days. (Messiah)

What does 1988 say for the rapturists?

The next event you should be looking for is ( Revelation 6:14), the sixth seal is going to crack backwards from vs 14 - vs 12.
  • Robert Necomb on Revelation 18 - 4 years ago
Look how these 2 end-time scriptures intertwine, like most all can. The description of Babylon sounds like a familiar nation, arrogant nation. The plagues initiate from the attack, and result in uncontrollable, open air, perpetuating diseases. Dead, burnt, rotting bodies will be a problem.

( Revelation 18:7) How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

( Isaiah 47:9) But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

( Revelation 18:8) Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Hello Keith. It would be difficult to find a portion to fit exactly to what you're seeking, but Proverbs chapter 31 comes to mind, of a woman (& mother) who had an exemplary testimony before her family & others. The woman mentioned (the mother of Solomon, also called Lemuel by her) hadn't passed on, but was found worthy of mention in this Book by her son.

From verses 10 to 31 we find a lot of details about this woman, but if you're seeking this information to put to writing or to speak about a departed mother, then within those verses one can find some relevant qualities worth sharing. She would not only have been a "virtuous woman of great worth" but also "one that feared the Lord" (vv 10 & 30). And to give further expression of those preeminent qualities, Solomon describes his mother as follows:

Her husband has full trust in her (v11,12); she works hard, even through the night (vv 15-19, 27); she is mindful of the needy around her (v 20); her words are of kindness & wisdom (v 26); she loves & cares so well for her family that both her husband & children call her "blessed" & praise her (vv 27,28). Of course, all these qualities would be shared in the past tense.

I hope you can glean some useful words/phrases that you can use as biblical support of a life well lived & for the Glory of God. Every blessing.

    The Word is GOD.

The two witnesses are not the 144K, neither Elijah, nor Moses, nor Enoch, as have been invented by the spirit of man.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:v.8

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Mark 9:v.49

Matthew 24:36 - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Comment: Only our Father knows the timing. The angels don't know. Jesus doesn't know.

Why do we think we can figure it out? Where were you in 1988?

Someone set a date. nothing happened. He is not going to allow anyone to call it. Period. Move along.

How about those Four Horsemen? Someone said the other day (radio). That the order of their appearances works backward. That is JESUS on the white horse. To me, that makes more sense.

The four horsemen are described as Satan's army, Conquest, War, Famine and Death.

Four figures in the Book of Revelation who symbolize the evils to come at the end of the world: They are often called the Four horsemen of the Apocalypse:

We've got War, Famine and Death (world-wide pandemics), right now. Any nations in the world do not have enough food. Fact.

    We have wars!

We need to pray for rain. My Bible says in the Book of Job, that God controls the storehouses of rain and snow. So why don't we pray for some? Like every day...

    Connie,

Jesse is correct in the explanation of Matthew 24-27....God says that anyone who not only hears Gods words and directions but also does them....is likened to a wise man...and has a FIRM foundation in which to build....we all know that the sand of the seas are washed away with every wave of water...or every gust of wind...however the ROCKS...they remain...unaffected by the water or wind....God is that ROCK...and if we chose to build our lives upon the ways of the world and not the ways of God...we will be tossed to and fro...Destroyed...left with nothing but to have to rebuild...BUT GOD...God says it does not have to be like that...we can be WISE men and build our house (lives) upon Gods' Truths

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

I was thinking the same thing today, brother. And Matthew 24:3-8 was also before me. I realize all those things mentioned (wars, famines, pestilences & earthquakes) have always happened over the centuries, but when we seen them increasing, when we see that even governments can get overwhelmed & going into increasing debt, & when people are getting confused & terrified, that maybe God is sending out further warnings that all is not well with their souls as it is also evident from these disasters.

Two things impress on my mind: are we watching for the increasing & overwhelming signs around the world & the terror in people's hearts as a result, & secondly, are we ready to share that Word of comfort & salvation to those in distress. When things go well for them & their stomachs & security are assured, interest in their spiritual needs & the Lord's salvation holds no attraction. But when distress comes, that which is beyond their control, where can they find answers? Will their hearts open, really open now, to heed the warnings & look heavenward?

I think of when our Lord went to the synagogue one Sabbath & he read from Isaiah 61:1,2: "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the MEEK; he hath sent me to bind up the BROKENHEARTED, to proclaim liberty to the CAPTIVES, and the opening of the prison to them that are BOUND; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." These are the very ones who are needing to hear God's Message, to be touched by His Hand, & to be delivered from fear & bondage. "They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick." Many continue to refuse & resist the Gospel - maybe now & in the coming days, they will be earnestly seeking answers - and indeed, we have the very answer for them - the Words of Life & Liberty. But we should indeed be watchful & in prayer, being led of His Spirit to those needy & desperate souls.

    Salutations sir,

I'm kinda new on this forum all together and I thank you for the scripture that you provided me. We are getting close to the end but that's why it's imperative for me at least to get more right with God have fellowship. Either way I have to keep letting him lead instead of me falling into feelings of despondency. Please pray for me.

    Blessings to you

I would like to thank you so much for the reply and the time that was taken in doing so my brother. As I very well know that the Holy Spirit is the one who really reveals all truth to us. The church I am attending right now is small not big but members are slowly decreasing. And although they are older folk (which I don't mind)I get the sense of spiritual laziness in this church and it hurts me to see this. If we are to take up the shield of faith and listen and obey to what Jesus said we should be concerned genuinely for the brethren. There's no fellowship outside of church and events are very very rare. Service is only on Sunday mornings and then that's it. Sure a brother can say to have lunch after but at the end of that hardly any communication is going throughout the week. One thing I struggle with and I'll admit is the fact that I am lacking in more growth especially with brothers and sisters. I don't want to take the self-righteous approach but I always make the time and effort to see how everyone is doing or what they may have learned. I may get a response here and there but no one checks on me. I may sound very "needy" (insecure) but I just will want that unity that I know one day will be restored. I tell God or even ask at times is something wrong with me that no one checks up on me but I check up on them? Do I have any fruit? Its been a struggle. I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me into a church that has Bible studies, Wednesday and Sunday night service. We need to work more fervently for the Lord. Thank you for your reply.

Adam, I think with all the country fires, continent floods, volcano eruptions in the Philippines. 9.9 and 7.1 earthquakes, plus a major dam destroyed in the aftermath (deadly flooding IN CHINA; in populated areas.... Russia is burning up. The USA is burning up and flooding. Europe.

People may come in here and not need to see arguments about THE RAPTURE. They're going to want to know how to be SAVED. :)

I'm not scolding you. I hope you know I love you in Jesus. You're my brother!

How about we brush up on how to explain The Birth Pains? Starts off manageable. Transition.

Toe Curling Pain. Transition. Pushing through Pain. (I took notes)

Look at YouTube today! Search disasters. Look at the dates. People are hurting! Their homes are gone. I myself had a fire and lost everything in 2000. Starting over is scary.

Maybe we should find the scriptures to explain what's happening; lead a lost person in a prayer...IN HERE.

This website has a link: 'Become A Christian'. We don't want to soft sell Jesus, and leave out that gnarly sin stuff. We do need a Savior. He can help us live through anything.

LOOK UP EVERY DAY :D Jesus will be coming for us IN THE CLOUDS. Or we may be sleeping... and need to have our lamps full of oil. (JOY)

Everybody read Matthew 24 and Luke 21.

Joy, peace and Love! We'll be going home soon.

  • Prophesy Happening Today - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Chris,

I've really been in prayer today, as Russia is experiencing drought and fires are decimating the landscape, as it is in USA. Fires reaching to Oregon!

Europe is under massive floods with great loss of life in several countries.

Last week China had a 9.9 quake. China had a 7.1 quake today & destroyed a major dam. It's flooding everywhere also due to a tsunami that hit them too. The pictures on YouTube are mind-boggling. Philippine island have a volcano has erupted 7 TIMES; Named TAAL.

Millions of people have left California the past 1 and half years. Antarctica is breaking up and floating away. They've found earth under it.

I think God is truly WARNING us to get ready. To tell people this is Matthew 24 on the evening news every day.

    I'm thinking of making my own tracts and placing them on car windshields at the grocery stores. Anyone can go home and look at those disasters on YouTube;

with a brief mention that all this has been prophesied in the Bible. Birth pains.

I'm wondering how much money governments think they can print up? Could the Abrahamic Accord be the start of the 7 years? Who can step in here right now and say Peace Peace??

I think our comment room needs to lean to the evangelistic comments amongst us. People in many countries may come in here wondering what's going on?

I just can't imagine people trying to act like none of this is happening.

On the other hand... what better time for a leader to be raised up with answers. Someone who says He can fix this. Someone wiser than the free-for-all that runs like a merry-go-round every day in Washington DC.

God is allowing EVERYONE to see what it's going to be like to the 10th Power, the Day After the Rapture

    Caught Up

    In the Clouds

Darkness: It is also a symbol of ignorance ( Isa. 9:2; 60:2; Matt. 6:23) and of death ( Job 10:21; 17:13), John 1:5; Isaiah 8:21-22

    Mishael
