The "rapture" requires faith outside of Faith, you have to believe in unsanctioned doctrines. Christian's forget that they are perpetual sinners, undeserving of a fictional lifeline. God has structure that we like to forge into our likeness.

If the first resurrection is just for the sealed elect & 24 elders, why would anyone else enter except at the second resurrection when God changes the universe to accommodate?

For people that think they will be transported to heaven BEFORE the sixth trumpet (true rapturist), before the great tribulation, to avoid a death that's been appointed to them.

( Ezekiel 21:2-6) - On the day of the Lord, both the righteous and the wicked die. No "rapture".

2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

For the people that believe they are firstfruits by virtue of their Christianity, and will be taken up in the clouds to meet Jesus ( 1 Thessalonians 4:17) need to research who the elect are, and why they are so revered.

Brother Arnold. That's a very good question which I'm sure many have thought through or have been likewise affected. If we consider the correct biblical position of the relationship between fellow brothers & sisters, then it's true, we must be vitally connected to each, yet without 'living in each other's shoes', so to speak, & ever be interested & concerned in each other's lives.

Of the early Church we read in Acts 2:41-47, that they continued very regularly in each other's company around the Word, prayers, the Lord's Table & fellowship. They also shared of their goods with each other since many were poor, thus avoiding anyone suffering & maybe losing faith. Their love for man even extended to some selling possessions so others outside the faith may not be in want. So this gives us a fairly good picture of the type of relationship that the believers were having: one of great concern for both those in Christ & those outside Christ.

Fast forward a couple thousand of years & we still see (or, should see) a similar concern for those in need, yet our culture, size of congregations, distance between peoples' homes, heavy family/work commitments, & a whole lot of other reasons, seem to impinge on believers maintaining a special closeness & involvement with each other. And somehow we do manage to keep in touch by phone (which the early believers didn't have & so a regular gathering together was important). Some might feel that the Pastor or his Assistant should be following through with their congregations - & of course, this is correct, but I think you might also be thinking of closer friendships or bonds being formed. In smaller congregations, folk easily keep in touch with each other regularly - not so much in larger ones. If you're sensing this in your Fellowship, do they have events that bring the folk together (e.g. fellowship meals, Bible studies, outreaches, etc.)? These 'extras', really help to bring others closer together & show more care for each other.

The deceitful spirits who lie in wait in the dark shadows aim to deflect God's people from the right path. Their insinuations are deceptive, manipulative, seductive, alluring. Demons allure people from a position of stability into a place of instability in an attempt to capture them in their web of lies: "poor pitiful Satan".

We must learn to expose demonic strategies. They operate in different ways in different circumstances, perpetrating error in the most advantageous way possible:

1. Error by exaggeration-truth wrapped in a lie.

2. Error by exalting a special revelation above the Word of God.

3. Astonishment that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ, and are turning to a "different gospel."

Good News!! As a blood bought child of The King, they have no authority to deceive or distract any longer than it takes you to say: I bind your works and command you to go into outer darkness. Do not return, in Jesus Name! Alleluia Amen!

Proof? You never show proof that the 2 witnesses are not the 144k, you just say "no". Why does God call the witness up to heaven and they appear in heaven as the 144k? Why is the woman in chapter 12 protected for 42 months, like the 2 witnesses, yet only the 144k are sealed?

I explain in a way where you can either agree or disagree, and you can understand the methods I used to arrive at a conclusion. Your discernment procures dangerous doctrine. I can't even agree with you on the basics. Stick with knowing that Jesus died for our benefit, unless that's wrong, too. Like Sacha says, I won't read or reply to your evil workings.

It is amazing that only Uzzah died during the incident with the Ark of God. David the King, all the priest, scribes, and elders did not say anything about correctly transporting the Ark of God. When David goes to battle, he consults God. There is no indication that he asked God or the elders, priest, scribes about this. Not pointing fingers, just stating an opinion.

I don't claim to know why, I just marvel at the mercy and grace our God and King has towards us all.

Diane and Earl; just wanted to add to the interesting discussion. The Sovereign and Just God of the universe has designed the perfect blend of a spiritual economy of freewill agency which allows man and angels to make behavioral choices which make them responsible for their eternal fate in heaven or hell. Yet, He does not allow those personal choices to override or interfere with His overall divine will.

God is infinitely merciful and fair. He would never hold people responsible at the Great White Throne Judgment is they did not have free will ( Rev. 20:11-15), nor would there be there be the Judgment Seat of Christ ( Matt. 25:31-46).

Finally, God made angels and man freewill agents because love is not genuine if it is not by choice. God wants us to freely choose to love Him the way He chose to love us in sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!

Another way I can look at is that God gives us Himself, and He is love. When I show love for Him or for my neighbor, it's not me in my human effort doing it, because my flesh might want to reach out and choke someone. But His Spirit in me is what causes me to love. What an awesome and wonderful Savior we serve!

Earl Not denying what God did but why did He do that, wasn't it to deal witha stiffnecked and unbelieving nation the one that He called out and seperated for the purpose of eventually bringing us our Messiah. We do not know why the virus came here or who did it. Non of us know. There are people that do know but we do not. I believe it was planted and will always believe that but I do not know. Other than what the Bible tells us we do not have any idea when the end of time will be. I do know that this world we live in is getting worse and worse every single day and the Bible is being fulfulled more and more every day. There are so many people that think they know more than anyone else about everything and when in fact they do not know any more than any one else does. The virus is real because I caught it or at least that is what they said in the rehab I was in after a very serious blood poison I had in my body and died twice and was brought back or at least that is what they said happened to me and was given a shot for it and I was fine. Point is the end if coming and the Bible is being fulfilled and that is as plain as the nose on your face. I hope I do not come across the wrong way I just have seen this site completly change in the last six months to so many people that think they know more than any one else does. There is also some really nice people that quote the Bible in every thing they say. I am a believer and I am a siner and I thank God every day and night for watching over me and my family all these years. Just take everything day by day and stop worring about things you have no control over and if you are a God fearing person and live by His rules and you believe that Jesus walked the face of this earth then you have nothing to worry about. Sympathy for the devil? Sympathy from who? And by the way, Satan will be rewarded. The bible tells us what Satan's reward will be after the thousand year reign of Christ. He will be cast into the lake of fire. That's his reward, and it comes from a just and righteous God!

Earl Why would God in the old Testament give command to do the things that you stated but in the Gospels and new testament say the opposite, now you might say God can do anything He Wants but thats not true God cannot lie and God cant go against His own words. Sarah Look this up and have fun, when the age of grace started it was the end of the law, therefore for the believer all days are sabbath or holy, my scripture Collosians 2: 16-23. I'm not saying don't go to Church or wherever you assemble with other christians im sharing that don't make it a legalistic thing mentally. We walk with God in our Hearts and in our minds. It's not where your at physically its where your heart and head is spiritually. and remember Romans 8: 28-39, and have a God Blessed Day.

Just because God is all knowing and may choose to know future events and just because we have limited comprehension of free will vs all knowing doesn't automatically mean that everything is a robot. We all have freewill. Even in heaven angels had freewill which explains how satan defied God and fell down. God has limited satan's power, but has allowed him to tempt and test others. Just because God allows something doesn't mean he causes it or wants things to happen. For example disasters. This is a fallen world. Adam and Even didn't have to defy God and sin, but they did. Some of that consequence has affected us, like pain and suffering in the world. God can also live in the moment like us and can change His mind. Just read the Bible where He changed His mind about destroying a city. God could have made robots of He wanted to but He loved us enough to let us choose- choose whether to love and follow Him or not. If you're a parent is it more meaningful to you if you forced your children to say 'I love you' or is it more meaningful if they say it out of their own freewill? If you understand this, then perhaps God values love and genuineness through freewill also.

Where exactly in the king james bible, does god make it perfectly clear, that he is against the rapture theory? im trying to help family, 1 at a time, to understand, we are not going to fly away? jesus is coming here! i know what ezekiel says, is there other as plain telling of it elsewhere? and if so, i have seen 130 scriptures about it, but for the newly learning,they politely throw 1st and 2cnd thessolonians at me? hence the main concern? i don't want anyone mislead or not to be able to know jesus christ from antichrist? thank you.

S spencer Interesting point how can so many people have so many different interpretations from same spirit, and have different outcomes on same point. Every body says Holy spirit tells them, aren't scripture from Holy spirit inspired by men of God, thats been the problem with the Christian church since the time of Paul. Make no mistake paul dealt with the same thing this situation is where all denominations developed. I have watched assemblies of christians divide over this, I don't believe it pleases the Father. Very well said. Jesus did not command us to go out and love the Lord thy God with all our heart, soul, and mind. Nor did He command us to love our neighbor as ourselves. And by the way, to the Jew, their neighbor would be their fellow Jew. For us Gentiles, neighbor refers to our brothers and sisters in Christ. But we're not commanded to go out and love.

That's the beauty of the Greek text. In our English bibles, we can make the argument that we are commanded to love God, and we are commanded to love our neighbor because that's what it says, right? But in the original language, (YOU WILL) love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and (YOU WILL) love your neighbor as yourself is not written in command form. It is written as a statement of fact!

The command is not for us to produce this love (Agape), because we cannot produce it. The command is "You will," meaning that once God places His Spirit in our spirit, we will love our neighbor, and we will love God with all our heart because He commanded it to happen that way, in that it will be His Spirit in us giving us the capacity to do so. So God says "you will" love. It's a statement of fact, not a command. He's telling us that once we are born of His Spirit, we will love!
