Michael M , hello , one of the first Bibles I read was a NKJ , as soon as I got an AV KJV I never looked at any other version , as far as I can remember the NKJ removes most if not all of the olde English , such as the wherefores and therefores etc and replaces some of the olde English with more modern words , I understand that it may take a while to get used to the olde style of the AV KJV but it's really not hard and you would soon get used to it , each to their own though , you must choose for yourself. Malachi wasn't rebuking the people for not tithing, but for bring polluted tithes, sick cattle, spoiled grain, etc. that was not life sustaining for the priest.

The tithe is no longer in effect because the Levitical priesthood no longer exist.

I think the strange flesh in verse 7 is the unnatural homosexual behavior that took place within Sodom and Gomorrah, not relations with angels. The bread symbolized it. Isaiah 64:8 - are you literally clay? Ezekiel 34:31 - are we a flock of sheep? Here's a simile: Matthew 10:16. 'as' sheep, 'as' serpents, 'as' wolves, which explains it's symbolic. So, when Jesus or God called humans satan were they actually satan or acting like satan? Jesus called Peter satan: Matthew 4:1. So, does that mean Peter was acting like satan or WAS satan? If he literally was satan why then did Jesus forgive him? Peter said he loved Jesus 3 times. Does satan love Jesus?
