This comes from Matthew chapter 7. Jesus said in Verse 24, "Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and does them, (notice the emphasis is hearing the sayings of Jesus), He says the sayings of Mine; and does them, I will liken him to a wise man that built his house upon a rock."
And by the way the word rock used here is the word (PETRA), the same thing that Jesus told Peter, and we are going to see that in Chapter 16 where Jesus says "Upon this rock I will build my church."
It wasn't Peter! Peter is (PETROS). PETRA is a completely different word which refers to Christ. He is the PETRA. It is the designation for Christ and His word in scripture. So Jesus says that everybody that hears these saying of mine and does them will be like a wise man that built his house upon a rock and when the storm comes (which is judgment), his house will stand.
In Verses 26 and 27, Jesus is saying everybody that hears these words of mine. Jesus is making Himself the authority. He didn't say to them, I just gave you a commentary on the law. He says, everybody that listens to these words of mine, and does them. But He tells them that those who do not do them, their house is going to fall. Oh my goodness, that is not going to sit too well with the religious people who are listening to Him speak!
It is my belief that a believer is free to go wherever the Lord is leading them. There's no offence if you are following Christ!
Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the sixth seal....
Jesus is telling (not literally) the saints in the Old testament (those described in Hebrews 11) to wait a while longer and they would be glorified at his resurrection.
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
This fulfils the prophecy in:
Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible DAY OF THE LORD come.
The DAY OF THE LORD came when Christ was crucified and resurrected.
Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour was there darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
Matthew 27:51 ...And the earth did quake ....
John 19:34 ....And forthwith came there out blood...
Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened, and many bodies of the (old Testament) saints which slept AROSE,
Matthew 27:53 And came out of the grave after HIS RESURRECTION, and went into the holy city (new Jerusalem), and appeared to many.
This is the one hundred and forty four thousand that are sealed in Revelation 7.
Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
This fulfils the prophecy in:
Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away (Christ replaced it with his death) and the abomination that maketh DESOLATE (Jesus had to become your life) set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days (42 months, Christ ministry on earth).
Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
There was 45 days of silence between Christ Resurrection and Pentecost then the Holy Spirit was poured out on man (Christ second coming).

Comment: the 3 frogs in the Bible could be associated with demonic prayers of witch groups around the globe. I'm NOT going to study this because OUR faith is in Jesus Christ and non other. We all know that after the Rapture all hell is going to break loose on this world. We need to accept Jesus now. Keep your eyes pure.

Understanding the second coming is necessary to understand God's WORD.
Man teaches that the second coming is SOMEWHERE in the future.
Jesus came the FIRST TIME in the flesh; His 42 month ministry in the flesh on earth. (same 42 months in Revelation).
Jesus has ALREADY come the SECOND TIME in the form of the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit or Comforter.
This second coming has been happening since pentecost (like a thief in the night) and will culminate in His physical body appearance at the second resurrection. Everyone is LOOKING for something physical and literal when it's all being done in realm we can't see and touch. Our mind that is attuned to only the physical and literal, has to be destroyed and replaced by a mind that can understand the spiritual (the mind of Christ). Most everything is HIDDEN in the scriptures; most often the literal represents something else. We know some of these, tree of life, book of life, living water, lamb of God, river of life, etc. With the SPIRIT'S help we have to find the ones we don't know; to understand. For instance; heaven is a literal physical place; but to understand the scriptures, heaven represents MAN (where God dwells). There was war in heaven (in man). Satan was cast out of heaven (out of man). If you like mystery novels, God's Word is the best ever written.
This is what makes Revelation so difficult to understand. Look at everything as if it represents something else. But it CANNOT contradict other TRUTHS, they have to harmonise. The answer are found in other places in the scriptures.

I beg to differ that Babylon is an literal nation, with a king ( Jeremiah 50/51). Take Revelation 17, it showcases the two end-time powers, Babylon & the beast. They both fight each other and the beast emerges victorious to create a one religion, one world govt. Now look at Ezekiel 38 and how Israel (both houses) are soundly defeated by Gog. God commissions the beast to destroy His sinful people, Israel, that is a fact. It is no stretch of the imagination to see that Ezekiel 38 & Revelation 17 parallels Israel and Babylon, they are interchangeable, and both are defeated in the same manner.
Modern day Israel lost their identity and have effectively become Babylon. If the US makes a bad military decision, they bomb Russia's ally, that's a recipe for disaster. This surprise attack will be as real as WWI or WWII, and people will die by the billions. The US has no way to stop hypersonic weapons. 1 Sarmat missile can destroy a land mass the size of Texas. 1 Poseidon torpedo can bring a 150 foot tsunami wave to either coast. These weapons will be used to sink Mystery Babylon/Babylon in under 1 hour. anti-christ will control every stronghold for a time.
Have you ever read any WWII stories about devout Christian's? Some thought Hitler was antichrist, they were obviously wrong. But now, in our time, we are convinced, as they were in the 40's, that these are the end-times. Some even thought the 6 day war was going to bring about Jesus. The point is, we live in the physical world, and for us to get to where we are going, we need space and time to merge. Also, our leaders are very much aware of Biblical prophesy, they go out of their way to fulfill it to their advantage. Let's say the Bible had a completely different prophetic narrative, you'd better believe our leaders would follow that alternative narrative to the letter. Our civilization is headed towards the gates of hades, and we have front row seats.
We all have to keep digging.
The more of us digging and sharing edifies us all.
Truths just continue to be found. Sometime it is just a key that unlocks the next dig.

Oh boy, I'm having a hard time believing that the 3 evil spirits engage NOW in the last battle, BEFORE Christ returns. It is my understanding that Christ defeats the sixth trumpet beast army ( Revelation 6:13-21) at His coming.
Verse 5 refers to this battle.
To which battle is this referring.
I misspelled his last name. It is Ries. But it looks like you found him okay on the web. His testimony is powerful, as you listened to it. I'm not sure if you will find anything about his dad, but I can share a little from what I remember in his book. It's been over 10 years since I read it. But as you know, Raul grew up involved in gangs and he was a very violent person. I think the Lord had plans for him for sure. He married a Christian lady but his violent behavior eventually led to her leaving with their children. He came home from drinking and she was gone.
If I remember him saying in the book, he couldn't take that she and the kids were leaving and he was about to end his own life. He went into a rage and started smashing up everything in the house. When he went to smash the TV, it came on and it was Pastor Chuck Smith.
Anyway, he started watching Chuck Smith and ended up surrendering his life to Christ. He started his own church and his ministry took off. But his dad was a non-believer and wanted nothing to do with the Lord. This tore at Raul's heart for many years. Here he was as the Pastor of a large church leading many people to Christ, and yet he could never get through to his dad. Several years went by and Raul wanted so much for his dad to come to his church knowing that it would never happen.
But one day, totally unexpected, at the end of one of Raul's sermons, he gave an alter call for anyone wanting to come up to receive Christ. There was a long line that came up and half way through the line, his dad comes forward. The way Raul tells it in his book will make you cry. He didn't even know his dad was sitting in the congregation, and he never expected to see his dad show up, an abusive dad who wanted nothing to do with the Lord. But there he was sitting there. He came to see his son. It must have been a powerful sermon. It's so awesome how the Lord works and how powerful His word is!
I have found the teachings of OSEAS to be oddly inaccurate for my taste. When I told him who the lead tribes of the house of Israel were ( Genesis 48:12-22 emphasis on vs 19), he freaked out, calling me "evil". He is also talking about an active beast before the falling away, and another beast afterwards. Each beast has 3.5 years in antichrist's kingdom. That would be fine, except anti-christ is revealed only when he destroys Babylon, not before. There's more that rubs me wrong, but it's fair game in the open market, and par for this course.

Strongs is the oldest and one of the most highly respected concordances in all of Christendom. I would like to direct you to the Strongest Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, 21st Century Edition, in the Hebrew section, entry 3611, to the word keleb, which is the transliteration of the Hebrew word from which the word "dog" is translated in Deuteronomy 23:18. The various definitions are: "dog, by extension of a person of low status, a dead dog, an immoral person; male prostitute." I chose the definition of male prostitute because the word "dog" is used in Deuteronomy 23:18 next to the word "whore," and the simultaneous use of both terms indicates bedroom immorality. Also, there is strong contextual evidence in the preceding verse, Deuteronomy 23:17, which prohibits women from being prostitutes and males from being sodomites.
Also, if you read the post carefully, I never stated that the word dog referred to white collar crime, theft, etc. Rather, they were all listed as sources of "dirty money."
Brother, if you google "what were male prostitutes called in the Bible" you will find the words kadesh and keleb, the last of which I cited above. Also, you might want to consult online commentaries about Deuteronomy 23:18. Have a blessed day.
You are wasting your time asking God to prolong the agony. Destroying Babylon will not be saved, or put off.

John wrote these words 1900 hundred years ago. It could be another 2000 years or more until the second resurrection, NO ONE KNOWS. These words have to have the same meaning to all who read them; whatever time (1900 years ago or 2000 years from now) they themselves are in.
Babylon REPRESENTS something, it is not literal.
Judah was taken into captivity by Babylon because they LOVED the world more than they loved God.
It is no different TODAY we LOVE the world more than we love God.
We (creation) are a HARLOT OF BABYLON because we have left our FIRST LOVE (our husband, Christ) and dote on the things of the world.

I have never heard anyone teach that the word Armageddon is a compound word consisting of three parts (Air/Magog/Heddon). You're the first. It doesn't even break it down that way in the Hebrew. Revelation 16:16 tells us that the word Armageddon comes from the Hebrew tongue (language). In the Hebrew tongue, it is HAR-MEGIDDON, not AIR-MAGOG-HEDDON. HAR means valley, so my understanding would be that this is talking about the valley of MEGIDDO, a physical place on this earth where this future battle takes place. Reading through Revelation chapter 16, especially at verse 14, I see that the whole point of it all is that Satan is going through all this trouble to bring about a one world government, one world religious system, and one world economic system. It's so he can unify everybody under his control so that at the second coming of Christ, he will be in control of them to get them over to the valley of MEGIDDO to fight against the Lord at His second coming.
GOG is the word that the Jews use for all people who are the enemies of Israel. All of Israel's enemies are called GOG. MAGOG is the god, or idol of GOG. So when Satan is loosed out of his prison after the thousand year reign of Christ, he will go out and deceive the nations (GOG and MAGOG) to gather them together for one final battle.
That's my understanding. It doesn't quite match up with what you're saying. I've been following your conversation you've been having with Earl and some of the things I'm reading don't seem quite right. Either it's me just not comprehending what is being said, or the Lord is not allowing me to comprehend it for my own protection? I like to think it's the latter!
