Hello Dgjot Many years ago when I just got born again I worked as a frame carpenter on houses and there was

another guy there that absolutely had a hideous personality. So one day we were working together and everything

I was doing he would come behind and mess it up, so I confronted him on this and he turns and looks at me and

said I hate your father. This man never met my Physical father, then it hit me who he was talking about God. The next

day he was in my face so I calmly walked away and asked God to do something because this guy was unprofitable

to the whole situation, no one else was in the frame of the house and immediately part of it fell apart on top of this

man, two days later he came back on the job and he was a different person. If that's getting rebuked or backed off

it worked he never bothered me again.

Dear Salty, am realy sorry that the word i mention upset u in this way.

Remember we do have Jesus too look at when we dont know what to do.

Hi Dgjot I personally will go with Mark 16:17-20 it says those who believe, in my life I have had many times

the miraculous occur why its says those who believe. I've been a believer for 47 years so I'm no one special but

trust me signs miracles and wonders didn't end in the apostolic age, this the deliverance available in Christ.

I disagree with you. Miracles still happen today. I think this is the question of the day.When Jesus returns, will he find faith on the earth?

Many years ago i had some issues with some ppl. And get angry at Jesus becouse i feel that He misled me too do wrong :p. He may have done that because i wanted to do that what i did, badly it was my decision. But what i dont understand was: As fast ill begin too talk about Gods Kingdom and God Him Self and the Holy Ghost. I feel like He filled me up with grace and understanding. He was never angry at me. It eas a learning proses.

Am glad for it now, because ppl get saved.

Dear "J Parker". U have right it was many ppl on earth, and evan angels. But in the Garden Eden it was only Adam, Eve and the Lord and the serpent.

Ill hope u see the Spirit of Jesus in there too. When u do u understand that He Is. And tell us I Am. He was with the beginning of the foundation of the earth.

The confusionion are when ppl only look Adam and Eve.

From the very beginning they are really the pedigree of Jesus, if you can see that it will be profitable for you. Please remember that Adam was made of dirt, and God blows His breath into Adam who gave Adam life. But Jesus is from the Spirit, very simple explanation.

1 Corinthians 15:45

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Adam get the word from God.

That was when God close the Garden for men.

I believe the original Bible language was Greek and it's translation of meekness is strength restrained. Knowing you are in a position to do something but having the will power not to act on your position of strength. For an example a teacher having a reason to send a child to the principals office but choosing instead to speak gently to the child or ignoring the infraction so that it the child's mistake doesn't weigh on his permanent record or get him expelled.

My KJV Bible does not mention the name Jehovah once in the New Testament and only 4 times in the Old Testament. Why is that?

As the letter "J" was not invented until the 16th century why does your church translate YHWH as Jehovah and how can you be sure how the name should be pronounced and does it matter as different languages use different spelling and pronunciation?

Are you aware that the name given by an angel to his mother, Mary, for her son was Yeshua?

What does the sentence of, "God will rebuke the enemies," what does rebuke mean?

This isn't so much a Bible question but a question of how God would want me to handle a situation. I am a new Christian so not well versed in finding answers. My husband is happy with our only child and I thought I was too but now I can't help but want another baby even though we are both in the older range for having a baby me being 34 and him 48 and with covid a big concern for us especially since I would need a c section and all the risk of visiting a hospital weekly. I understand and agree whole heartedly with why we shouldn't but my desire is not going away. I have not mentioned it to my husband and have no plans to but I don't know how to get rid of the overwhelming desire to have another baby.

Dear Lord, I pray for healing upon this land. You have offered us a land rich in resources and in many places we have desecrated it. I pray for revival in this place that the scales of eyes will fall off so that people can see and follow you perhaps for the first time. Amen.

David, thank you for suggesting that the coat was referring to Jacob declaring Joseph to be the heir. That must have made is brothers feel terrible. The heir was to be the firstborn, but Jacob decided otherwise. It doesn't say when Jacob gave Joseph the coat. As a growing teen, it may have been recent so that it would fit well enough for Joseph to wear at the time his brothers stripped him (probably, in a way, stripping him of his "heirness) and placed him in the cistern. It also does not say when Joseph told of his dreams. So, we do not really know how long the brothers had "stomach" Joseph strutting around in this coat, speaking of his dreams, but perhaps, not doing much work for the family. I don't think that Joseph was all that innocent here, but he grew into a great man of God in Egypt. God had chosen him. Perhaps, He had told Jacob that already. As Joseph served as a slave in Egypt, he was brought low in order to be raised up to a very high position in the Egyptian government. Like Jacob, he was away from his family for a very long time, time for God to mature them both in their respective situations.

Hi Tersia. Could you have been referring to Ephesians 1:14 in the Good News Translation Bible? As hereunder:

"The Spirit is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will give complete freedom to those who are his. Let us praise his glory!"

This particular version of the Bible is inaccurate - a little like the Readers Digest version. I know that the GNB is easier to read however, the correct message is often not recorded correctly. The King James Version is the most accurate, with a few others coming a close second.

So the KJV states it like this: "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."

The meaning & expansion of this is: the Holy Spirit (seen in verse 13) is given to all those who have repented of their sins & put their faith in Jesus; this Spirit has come into the new follower of Christ & seals him/her (i.e. the Spirit's Presence is God's Seal of salvation marking that person as a child of God). And this seal which is "the earnest" (or, God's down-payment) of our new life in Christ (our inheritance), will always remain within the child of God until "the redemption of the purchased possession". And this means, that till the day when God calls us Home to be with Him physically in our new bodies, God's Spirit will always be with us on Earth to keep us 'sealed', guaranteeing our salvation, & to minister to us. Once we arrive to our Heavenly Home, the seal is no longer needed as our redemption (because of Christ's payment for us by His blood) is now fully complete - we're in God's Presence forever - no more earthly concerns & woes - no more temptations & sins. And this is all of God's Work, both in giving us His Son & bringing us into Glory - and for all this we can give "unto (Him) the praise of His Glory".

Don't raise your eye. Make no mistake, this planet is hell on earth, our minds become caged in with Satan precision. Seeing that the next age doesn't have drought and destruction, it's more as though we become nothing but ash and dust with no feelings, no more tears to cry, no more thoughts to think. My soul goes back to God, so why would I care about anything else? End of discussion.

It was me last year who persuaded you to stay, and now I would persuade you to go. It's not easy banging your heart against someone's ideological wall.

Titus 3:2 says to speak evil of no man, do not be brawlers, or fighters, but rather be gentle. The word gentle in the Greek text means lenient. And then shewing all meekness unto all men.

The word meekness here means to be open. It means openness, receptivity. That's one of the main words that is used in the scriptures for those who are in teaching or pastoral ministries. But meekness doesn't mean that you play the role of a doormat. It means to be open and to be receptive.

I think one of the hardest things for those in a teaching ministry is to be open and receptive because they don't know all the answers. Who does? And if someone is coming up to them to try and prove them wrong, it kind of puts them in a bad position. So, it's difficult in the human according to pride to be open and receptive to all people, but it's necessary. It is necessary for the person who is up front and is teaching, that they be more open and receptive than anybody else in the whole room.

But it should apply to all believers also. Why? Because we're all the same, and we're all on the same level. We've all learned about the Lord from down here. None of us have come from up there. If you have, I want to meet you!

So, it's showing all meekness, openness to all men. You can see that he's presenting a new lifestyle, a new kind of life. Don't complain about the earthly system. Pray for them. Be ready more for the things of the Lord. Don't speak against people. Don't fight with them. But rather be lenient, even when people are abusing you or being mean to you, just be gentle, be lenient, showing all openness and receptivity unto all men. Everybody, saved and unsaved!

And this is because of the primary characteristics of the old life in Titus 3:3, and there are seven of them.
