    S. Spencer,

    I see the millennium as a cleansing period ( Ezekiel 39:12) of the sealed, one hundred forty four thousand saints, to remove and replace the current earth and heavens with the new earth and heavens. One has to follow the other for the future to exist.

    Anyone past resurrection can't sin and death has no bearing. This applies to both resurrections. After the thousand years, and the devil is let go, but he will have no place among men who received new hearts of the Spirit.

    This is just my opinion; may others have a better answer. We know from noon till 3 PM darkness fell over the land. When all of our sins were laid on the back of our glorious Savior Jesus, God had to turn his face and Jesus felt the burden and weight of our sins on His own.

    God bless,

    Hey Wesley

    The 1000 Year Kingdom will be on the earth, not in heaven, ( Revelation 11:15) It will be a time when Lord Jesus and those chosen to rule the nations with an iron rod ( Revelation 5:10). We know from ( Revelation 20:7-10), nations after the 1000 years.

    The thousand-year reign of Jesus, will be after the great tribulation of Satan, the beast and the false prophet. The second coming of Jesus with the army of angels, ( Matthew 24: 29-31) ( Mark 13: 24-27) the first resurrected saints that meet Jesus in the air, ( 1 Thessalonians 4:17) Jesus' feet land on Mount of Olives ( Zechariah 14:4)

    The beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire and the ten king's armies of the beast that came up on Jerusalem to battle are destroyed. ( Revelation 19:11-21) and Satan is chained and put in the bottomless pit.

    Then the judgment seat of Christ for those that have been chosen to reign with Him in this Millennium Kingdom. ( Revelation 20: 4-6) People will live and die during this time. and when it is over, Satan will be released and bring an army for one last battle and fire comes down and Satan is cast in the lake of fire. ( Revelation 20:7-10)

    White Throne Judgment of the rest of the dead. The goats and the sheep, "some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt", "they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. And then ( Revelation 21) The marriage and the marriage supper. Jesus said at the last supper ( Matthew 26:29) ( Mark 14:25) ( Luke 22:18) when it is new.

    The purpose of the thousand-year reign is to put this world in order and allow for the fulfillment of several promises God made with Israel, David and others.

    This is a brief view of what I see from my study, I am sure some, maybe you, will disagree and that's ok, may it cause study.

    Hi Hendrica.

    Romans 1:18-20 (KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

    Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

    For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

  • S Spencer - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hi Wesley.

    I don't believe the Millennium is where the earth is being restored, We do know from the scripture the devil will be chained during that period and loosed again,

    This is not where all of creation will be lifted from the curse of sin by Adam.

    Romans 8:22. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

    We know there will still be sin and death in the Millennium.

    I believe the restoration is where we see the new Jerusalem comes down and there's a New Heaven and New Earth.

    The devil want be able to go to and from as we see in job.

    God bless

  • Lex - 4 years ago
    If you are afraid you have fallen away because you had thoughts of unbelief and doubt, is it possible that you have not aposticized because you are worried about it? As in if you questioned your faith and felt faithless will God forgive that or are you doomed because you were not faithful when trying to research and prove to yourself that Christianity is true and felt discouraged and confused. Since then have been praying for forgiveness and understanding but according to Hebrews 6:4-6 it looks really bad. Now I am sitting at home just worried that I have unwittingly forfeited my salvation because I was scared and confused and weak in faith. This is incredibly stressful.

    Where is the verse in the KJV state. Does not nature itself teach you there is a God? May not be exact words.
  • David on Mark 12 - 4 years ago
    AJAX on Mark 12:29 You are correct.

    The term Trinity isn't in the Bible. Neither is the word Bible in the Bible. The word rapture isn't in the Bible, and neither is the word Saturday in the Bible.

    Never-the-less, the teachings of the doctrine of the Trinity do exist in the Bible. I challenge you to do your own study. Then you can explain how the Holy Spirit lives in a born again believer, the Lord Jesus stands at the right hand of the throne of God, and God the Father sits on the throne; all at the same time.

    And is still be considered as One Triune God according to Scripture. God bless you and us all as we learn more of our God, King, and soon coming Lord Jesus Christ.

    Hi Raudi.

    The Sabbath fell on the 7th day,

    Sunday was and still is the 1st day of the week, Most Christians gather on a Sunday to worship and even mid week, But we have liberty to gather and worship any day of the week, And you don't have to gather to worship, It's not something you turn off and on.

    It seems many people associate worship with the Sabbath " THEIR RESTING BECOMES THEIR RELIGION " They get offended when when they see Christians gathering on the 1st day of the week and working on the 7th day.

    I don't see anywhere in scripture where the Sabbath was given to any people other than Israel. " And that was done away with at the cross!"

    Colossians 2:14-16 (KJV) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

    Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

    However let every person do what's in their heart. ( IT WANT ADD TO CHRIST WORK ON THE CROSS )

    I think this verse applies here as well:

    " 1 Corinthians 10:23. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not."

    God bless
  • David on Mark 12 - 4 years ago
    Hi Rodney;

    God bless all the discussion and questions on this forum. Much has been said regarding the Sabbath day and its significance in our lives as children of God. However it wasn't until Moses received the 10 commandments was the law given regarding the Sabbath.

    In all of the Book of Genesis, there is no mention of the word Sabbath. My question is "What day did Adam and Eve worship on?" Did God only come into the garden on the Sabbath to walk and talk with Adam? If Adam and Eve were created on the 6th day, is it their 7th day or God's seventh day. And what would Adam and Eve be resting from?

    Remember God rested on the seventh day because He completed all of "creation." The word rested means He stopped creating. Did the Lord God do more creating on the eight day to day 13? Did He rest again on the 14th day? In Genesis 26:5 Abraham kept God's requirements, commands, decrees and laws. The verse tells us that Abraham was obedient, but it simply doesn't tell us which statutes and decrees were in effect in his day.

    The Sabbath is a reunion between Israel and God as it is said,"It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever" Exodus 31:16, 17

    No where does the Bible indicate that the Sabbath was given to anyone except the Jews. Exodus 16:28, 29

    The choice is still your own. Praying that this helps us all as we await the return of the Lord in His glory.

    What happens with transfigured Jesus Christ on earth, the heavens, during the thousand years to make the old earth and heavens pass away? More allegory and metaphoric imagery, and dust to settle.

    On this chapter Job 21, the trivia asked "How did the idea that evil people could still succeed in life, make Job feel?" the answer given is he feels afraid but I don't believe that is the correct answer for this chapter. Job speaks more in the tone of feeling sad that the evil get away with wrong doings while God's people suffer til death.
