This would have to be True Believers falling away for it to say ["apostasy"] divorce, and (writing of divorcement).
Thank you for your post.
God Bless.
The earth will have the fullness of harvest and life during the Millennium. The vast transfer of wealth to the Temple of God and administering ruling over cities and areas of the world may correspond with places we lived in our earlier life on earth; or made appropriate for the level of service or lack thereof which we lived using our gifts and resources for the Lord at that time.
At the end of the Millennium there is the last final rebellion where the number is as the "sand of the sea" ( Revelation 20:8). Largely; that would be a campaign warning both the deception of those descendants of those who survived Armageddon have because of wicked hearts ( Jeremiah 17:9) as well as Satan being a reality since he wouldn't be seen for the 1000 years. I am a firm believer in predestination as other verses make clear; so that as now we will just be a faithful witness so that His warnings will be recieved by those who are appointed to eternal life and rejected by those not in the Lamb's Book of Life. Again; it is obvious that the Gospel as stated now will not be necessary to prove somehow that Christ is Lord. Isaiah 65:20 indicates those who die at 100 are considered accursed; and we know that during the Millennium God will swiftly deal with rebellion. Those who do wish to go against the Lord will be waiting; perhaps for many hundreds of years for the final rebellion against God; somehow thinking that Satan himself can succeed even though he failed before. No doubt Satan will have some insane explanation of where he was the 1000 years; somehow convincing everyone that he has overcome being bound by his own effort and amassed enough strength to defeat God and His people. Perhaps having God's people close by on earth rather than heaven will convince everyone that he can defeat them suddenly. We know of course how that will end.
As for now; Ephesians 6 shows how we fight spiritual warfare ( 1 Peter 5:9). Evangelism and prayer are our current mission.
Admittedly; there aren't a lot of specific verses as to what exactly we will be doing in the Millennium and eternity. I have elaborated on rewards involving ruling over more or less cities in regard to our faithfulness now; as well the scripture about David once again ruling as co-regent under Christ (see Jeremiah 30:9). The Levites are said to have some sort of role at least in the Millennium; with sacrifices in a new temple mentioned in the last few chapters of Ezekiel.
Perhaps studying Israel as a Theocracy in the past (although certainly not a perfect example) gives us some idea how we will rule and reign with Christ ( Rev. 2:26-27 but also somewhere in the O.T. mentioned as well). Isaiah 66:19-20 shows what the physical survivors will do after Armageddon in reaching distant places gathering them for worship in Jerusalem.
As Resurrected Saints interacting with earthly people; we may need to be in charge of ensuring that ceremonial purification occurs so that those in our presence not to mention in the presence of Christ won't die because of some impurity. It is hard to say how our roles will work with those who are in physical bodies still doing some sort of Temple ritual. We also will probably work out disputes; perhaps initally as a sort of cleanup crew (again with the physical survivors) after the Ezekiel 38 war (likely part of the campaign related to Armageddon).
Haven't heard from you for awhile. Welcome back on here.
This Scripture in Hebrews is difficult in respects to the danger to those who have turned from Jesus after once walking with Him. Hell is real and the destination of all who are not in Christ Jesus-even some we know and love. How much we should pray that our own faith will endure to the end and that of those we know as believers. How much we ought to pray for all whom we know who are non believers. We pray for God to provide many opportunities for us to share the gospel. There is much need amid all the evil we see and know about. So much more we do not see and know about. But God knows all and is ever working to draw people into this life of faith in Jesus.
4. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened"....."If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance".
Don't these people realize that they spit in the face of Jesus and threw away their salvation???? There's no 2nd chance for them. Many false preachers/deceivers are in the world, teaching non-Biblical nonsense. I see billions of people sliding down a greased pole to hell.
I cringe whenever I hear of "Christians" who ditched Jesus in favor of Islam, or any other "religion".
Matthew 17:5
"While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which (God) said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him."
Christians get a bad rap. They are commissioned to spread the Word that only Jesus can save humans from their sins. Christians try to warn others that if they don't repent of their sins and seek Jesus, they will go to hell.
As a Christian (but not a very good one) I'm so sick of the wicked and their in-your-face debauchery. Christians are accused of being controlling, hypocritical and hateful. It's so disheartening and exhausting to try to talk to these people. Should I grieve for anyone who knowingly rejects Jesus and dies in their sins??? I'm sure God and Jesus are broken hearted. Somewhere people got the idea that Hell will be one big party. NOT!
If there is any clear conflict observed against the Canon of Scriptures, then that writing has to be read with great care, even treated with suspicion. I always use this rule: even in the Qur'an there is much Truth to be read - but would I ever use it to gain knowledge & inspiration to live a godly life? What does this book or any apocryphal book hold for me that I can't fully receive, hold onto & depend on, than God's Word to us in the Bible?
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
This is the one and only one Rapture spoken of in the Bible. And it will be on the Last Day ( John 6:39,40,44,54), which will occur IMMEDIATELY following the Great Tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. We are currently living in the period of the Great Tribulation. The Resurrection and Rapture are simultaneous events and will initiate Judgement Day when God will execute His Final Judgement upon all those that have not become saved, destroy this sin-cursed earth, and create New Heavens and a New Earth where in ALL True Believers will live and reign with Christ eternally.
There is no future salvation program for Israel as a Nation. And there is no Future Kingdom that Christ will establish on this sin-cursed earth. The Israel that God is concerned about is the "Israel Above" made up of all True Believers (a remnant from every nation) that God will have saved throughout history and will be joint-heirs with Christ in His Eternal Kingdom ( Romans 8:17, Hebrews 11).
It would appear from Revelation 14:14 that the 144,000 standing on the heavenly Mt. Zion are indeed translated. There is no mention as with the multitude of being martyred.
Technically; there is no proof that the 144,000 aren't scattered throughout the earth rather than just in Israel. There would certainly seem to be a connection between them and the 2 prophets as they will be able to control the plagues of weather on the earth which would of course affect whatever region or area the 144,000 are ministering in.
One thing I neglected in the last posting is the fact that there is no mention of the 144,000 evangelizing to the multitude. If they do that sort of ministry; it is clear that their preservation from the plagues of God will make them stand out; as well as their exemplary character during the time of unrestrained sin. (see Revelation 7). The type of plagues and timing must be close with them and the 2 Prophets; some overlap may be present between the first and second half of the Tribulation where their ministry occurs. Sequentially; it appears they start before the Trumpet judgments and exit at the time of the sixth trumpet around when the prophets die and are resurrected (see Revelation 11:13-14).
The warnings in Matthew 24 about persecution; martyrdom; wars; etc. have a preliminary fulfillment at least for the Apostles ending around AD 70. It would seem the same pattern fits in with today and those final witnesses in Israel. Deuteronomy 4:30-31 seems to show how God will respond in the last days during the Tribulation; again only for those Israelites who truly repent. Many will no doubt follow Antichrist to their own demise.
Jesus said that not all the towns would be preached to in Israel before the Son of Man came back ( Matt. 10:23). When we look at the seventy who went out ( Luke 10:1) we see what may be a prototype; so to speak of those sent out "two by two" in the future in regard to the two prophets in Revelation. The time of Jacobs trouble in Jeremiah 30:7 shows how the Tribulation is basically for testing of the Jewish people. In light of this; we see the 144,000 also fulfilling the role and God's judgment in Matthew 25:36 seems to be dependent on how people support or don't help out those evangelists during the Tribulation.
I have stated several times the significance that by the sixth seal everyone is aware of God and His Son in heaven and their wrath that is coming. I have also stated that even if the Rapture is hidden in meaning to some; the Resurrection and resulting emptying of tombs cannot be hidden. Thence the fear of the Lord will wake some up ( Psalm 40:3); while others harden their hearts beyond hope as we see the reactions in the Trumpet judgments (where idols continue to be worshipped); and the bowl judgments where ultimately Satan is sided with by all unregenerate to fight Christ in Armageddon ( Rev. 19; Psalm 2).
Hence; we are seeing signs and wonders as in the Old Testament but we have Christians on earth. The church; however represented by kings and priests ( Rev. 5:10 and later scriptures in the same book) is separated as the Bride of Christ from the general throng of believers. THe type of gospel preached; therefore would much like Jesus preached to the spirits in 1 Peter 3:19; more of a declaration. There will be people saved; but as I see it many at least who have garments made white ( Rev. 7:14) may be lukewarm believers left behind or at the very least it is the requirement of those who wish to bear fruit at that time. Revelation 17:8 shows how predestination affects those lost; and those saved are in the Book.
..... Romans 9:8 Not all Israel is Israel that is the Children of the flesh are not the Children of God....Its only the Children of PROMISE that are counted for that good seed....Flesh and blood are not the Children of God....Thus Flesh and Blood can NOT be the SAINTS OR THE ELECT.....Its only the H.G. that are the Children of Promise....And the Israel of God....Behold i send the Promise of my Father upon you...Which was baptism of the H.G. THE ONLY Child of Promise....Thus the SAINTS are not flesh and blood but Spirits.
"His contact with His Father & His angels were separated only by position, not by relationship & possession."
God bless.
Am I mistaken on who sent the response to my post?
Thank you for your responses, and I hope you are having a wonderfully blessed day. Yes ma'am, I agree with you. We must hold fast to Gods truth and test all things spiritual and backed scripturally.
To answer your question, yes I did mean to send that message to you. As I myself , Did have an amazing and tremendously blessed experience . In which i was not worthy of. But through Gods ever abounding mercy , grace and infinite love he allowed me to experience it.
I try always to share my testimony, as I desire with all my heart that everyone know the truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . And How much he really loves us.
I know with all my heart, mind ,body and spirit,
Jesus is the way the truth and the life.
I pray the lord bless you tremendously,
And keep up the good fight.
I love you all.
First, Jesus died on the cross to give salvation and eternal life to all who Believe on Him.
Now ( Jn. 1:1-3,14) v1 Tells us "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD".
v14 Tells us "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us".
The Word was God in flesh! ( Ps. 12:6-7) v6 Tells us "The words of the LORD are pure words". v7 "Thou shalt keep them O LORD, thou shalt (preserve) them from this generation for ever". (God's promise to preserve His Words for ever).
The Word was God in flesh! ( Mt. 4:4) We should live by ((every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God)).
The Word was God in flesh! ( Prov. 30:5-6) v5 ((Every Word)) of God is pure. v6 Add thou not unto ((his words)).
The Word was God in flesh! ( Jn. 14:23-24) v23 If a man love me he will keep ((my words)) v24 "and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me".
The Word was God in flesh! ( 1 Pet. 1:23-25) v23 "by ((the word of God)), ((which liveth)) and ((abideth for ever))". v25 But ((the word of the Lord endureth for ever)), And this is ((the word)) which ((by the gospel)) is preached unto you".
Can you provide the Scripture that shows you that Jesus is not the written Word?
How about this verse? ( 2 Tim. 3:16) "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". The word (scripture) is #1124; it means a document, to write, to describe.
How would we reproof doctrine without the pure preserved written Word?
How could we correct doctrine without the pure preserved written Word?
Please study this instead of just reading (over it) Pierre. Thank you.
Blessings.
Did you mean to send this to me?
(this book) the Bible.
I agree completely there are no contradictions in the Bible, that is in the KJB. I believe modern versions may have contradictions, modern versions are not Inspired by God.
In ( Acts. 2:17-21) v17 Tells us "and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams".
This is speaking of the last days, I believe we are living the last days time period now.
These verses have to speaking of this time period if we look at ( Acts. 2:20) We see "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come".
Then if we look in the book of Revelation for this same event, it happens in ( Rev. 6:12) with the opening of the sixth seal, "and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood".
I really don't see any other way to take those words any differently than they are written in ( Acts. 2:17) "and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams".
I would like to hear your understanding of this and also what you gather from the study you spoke of.
There is nothing like being in the Word of God today, It is Alive!
Thank you again David.
God Bless.
We may not come to full understanding in terms of our individual lives; but God is faithful in all His promises which are most often expressed in covenants in the Bible. Again; it is in the context of corporate worship; being part of the armies of God; His Body etal. where our identity should be saught and expressed. My favorite saying on this is that we are going to be together for all eternity; so we should start getting along with one another now.
With our Resurrection; of course comes full restoration. We know that heaven itself has streets of gold and is adorned with all sorts of unimaginable gems on the doors and walls. We see in Isaiah how the animal kingdom is going to be restored ( Isaiah 11:6-9); how natural lives will be restored to where they were before the flood; and how we will literally rule over cities ( Luke 19:17 and surrounding verses). The fullness of the earth and harvest; as well as great material wealth also will occur starting in the Millennium. So in all these things his promises are "yea and amen" ( 2 Cor. 1:20). Those who were widows; orphans; martyrs and otherwise suffering in this life will come to a better country in the future ( Heb. 11:16).
There are also promises in terms of the fate of the wicked. Realizing what we have come from helps us now in our fallen state to humbly adore and worship God in a manner fitting for His saints. We must realize that we cannot return to Eden; in our natural state. We are crucified with Christ; therefore and part of a new and better life as Galatians 2:20 states. We are now in enemy territory; and nothing on our part can change that if we are indeed living a Godly life in Christ Jesus. We are aliens passing through; and the charms of this world should no longer bring comfort to our minds and tempt us to make a bargain in any way with the prince of this world to have a comfortable life. May we trust God in all things according to His will. ( Psalm 37:4
In my first post, I was referring to that which Jesus brought from heaven, is deity made flesh, His perfect life, His sacrifice for sins, His resurrection from death and ascension to heave. Jesus did that in His own divine power. No man can do that. That is my main point.
Perhaps this clarifies your question about my post.
Fire, and hail, and flying swords, and many waters, that all fields may be full, and all rivers, with the abundance of great waters. And they shall break down the cities and walls, mountains and hills, trees of the wood, and grass of the meadows, and their corn.
And they shall go steadfastly unto Babylon , and make her afraid. They shall come to her, and besiege her, the star and all wrath shall they pour out upon her: then shall the dust and smoke go up unto the heaven, and all they that be about her shall bewail her. And they that remain under her shall do service unto them that have put her in fear."
Revelation 18:4-9
Then I heard another voice from heaven say:
"Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues. For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
Give back to her as she has done to others; pay her back double for what she has done; mix her a double portion in her own cup. As much as she has glorified herself and lived in luxury, give her the same measure of torment and grief.
In her heart she says,
'I sit as queen I am not a widow and will never see grief.'
Therefore, her plagues will come in one day-death and grief and famine-and she will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her."
Then the kings of the earth who committed immorality and lived in luxury with her will weep and wail at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her. In fear of her torment, they will stand at a distance and cry out:
"Woe, woe to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come."
Malachi 4:2
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."
Sun is correct.
(1/2)
"Behold a horrible vision, and the appearance thereof from the east: Where the nations of the dragons of Arabia shall come out with many chariots, and the multitude of them shall be carried as the wind upon earth, that all they which hear them may fear and tremble. Also the Carmanians (Iran) raging in wrath shall go forth as the wild boars of the wood, and with great power shall they come, and join battle with them, and shall waste a portion of the land (Afghanistan) of the Assyrians.
And then shall the dragons have the upper hand, remembering their nature (Taliban); and if they shall turn themselves, conspiring together in great power to persecute them, then these shall be troubled bled, and keep silence through their power, and shall flee. And from the land of the Assyrians shall the enemy besiege them, and consume some of them, and in their host shall be fear and dread, and strife among their kings.
Behold clouds from the east and from the north unto the south, and they are very horrible to look upon, full of wrath and storm. They shall smite one upon another, and they shall smite down a great multitude of stars upon the earth, even their own star; and blood shall be from the sword unto the horse's belly, and dung of men unto the camel's hough.
And there shall be great fearfulness and trembling upon earth: and they that see the wrath shall be afraid, and trembling shall come upon them. And then shall there come great storms from the south, and from the north, and another part from the west. And strong winds shall arise from the east, and shall open it; and the cloud which he raised up in wrath, and the star stirred to cause fear toward the east and west wind, shall be destroyed (detonated). The great and mighty clouds shall be puffed up full of wrath, and the star, that they may make all the earth afraid, and them that dwell therein; and they shall pour out over every high and eminent place a horrible star.
You do not believe that some of Gods children have died and seen heaven or some have even spoke with Jesus and returned?
To minister and share the love of god they experienced and their life changing testimony .
To bear witness to our savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father?
May gods grace and peace be upon you.
Love you all.
You have SUN. It should be Son.
( Jn. 12:48) "((the word)) ((that I have spoken)), ((the same shall judge him)) in the last day".
If those pure, living Words of Jesus Christ were not written down for us in a book then how could God use those Words to judge these people righteously in the last day?
( Rev. 20:11-12) "and the books were opened" (What are these books that are opened that people are judged out of at the last day)?
These books are the Words that Jesus spoke, translated and written down in a book preserved for this generation and for ever. ( Ps. 12:6-7) also ( Prov. 30:5-6)
( 2 Pet. 1:19-21) These verses tell us how holy men of God were moved by the Holy Ghost to bring us the prophecy of the scripture, which is the preserved Word of God.
The 66 books in the KJB is that prophecy, those pure preserved Words of the LORD!
Pierre please don't just read over this, study it.
Truth matters.
