I made a mistake the other day...I said that there were 2 signs in the bible proving the Trinity the Kingdom...But there is a 3 rd sign in the bible proving the trinity...Its the ARK OF THE COVENANT...In the most holy place was the FATHER BETWEEN THE 2 CHERUBIM OF GLORY thus we see three 3 in the most place...And God cd not share his glory with the 2 Cherubim unless they were all 3 related...As Father Son and GRANSON...And he cd not have told Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob unless his Kingdom were a type of the Abrahamic trinity...Father son and Granson that was multiplied as the sands of the seas...When he told Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob...Thats indicative that God was gona offered up his only Son Jesus just like ABRAHAM offered up his only son Isaac Resulting in an Israel of God...I will multiply thy SEED as the stars of heaven...Thus there is gonna be an Israel of God...Its Christ that is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven...Thats y Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Which is the multiplcation of very God in humanity the H.G. The Children of PROMISE...spirits..I will pour out my spirit on ALL FLESH etc

....Thats y Jesus is saying to whom the word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods...Doncha see that God is gona be multiplied...Thats y he mentions the babes and sucklings his offspring ...The woman with Child and she that travails with Child a great company..(.An Israel of God ) is in the making...Thats y Jesus was calling for Elijah to come and turn the hearts of the Fathers to the Children in the last days...The babes and sucklings are not flesh and blood they are spirits...The H.G. THE children of the Kingdom...He is simply gona gave us a new heart and a new spirit..A new innerman...The Kingdom is gonna be within us...ok lemme go...need some coffee

The law demanded...A life for sin..."the soul that sins shall surely die"....Jesus met that demand for mankind...

God gives choices to those who want to come to church we can't make them. What they do is between them and God if they don't come. People can also fellowship at home or at church. But I chose to fellowship at church because I want to learn more from my brother's and sister, and I want them to teach me the bible. That's why I come and to learn more about others and to praise the Lord. I take piano lessons from a girl that goes to my church. I enjoy it because I get to learn more about her and her family and more about piano.

Ecclesiastes 3:14. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

    God bless.

Fred GBU...But king david was a type of king christ...When David slew the giant it was just prophetic that Christ is gonna slay hell, death and the grave...A spritual giant in our lives...This Father son relationship between DAVID AND SOLOMON is just prophetic that a father son relationship is gonna exist between Christ and his son the H.G....Just as Solomon came out of the loins of DAVID..A greater then Solomon is gonna come out of the loins of Christ Jesus which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...That is gonna build a greater temple in mans hearts...As the very kingdom of God is gonna be with in us via the words of Christ Jesus...As the scrip. says our bodies are the temple of the H.G...The Kingdom..A greater temple then Solomon's temple is on the horizon...Thats y Isaiah refers to Christ as everlasting father he is the Father of the H.G..Simply b/c the H.G cannot be born in us without his precious seed the words of the New COVENANT SOWN IN OUR HEARTS...The H.G. is a living being that has to be born in us by his words his seeds..When he breathe on them that was his words his seeds...He was propagating very God when he breathe on them...Thats y he is saying that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit which is our new innerman the H.G. He says b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds ) sorrows have filled your hearts..Then he describes a woman in travail and birth pains...We are gona birth a new innerman which is spirit the H.G...The Child of Promise...meaning th multilication of Christ. The Son of man...When God swore by his very self it was about multiplication of Christ in humanity the field being the world...God swore by his very self that he was gonna multiply Christ as the stars of heaven...Thus Christ is the Father of the H.G..As the H.G. cannot be born in us without his seed...That great Promise was about Christ seed being multiplies thus the sower and his precious seed..Thats y the Woman is giving birth. Christ is the FATHER OF HER CHILD THE H.G. IMANUEL

    Hi Stephen.

Leaven in scripture is known as sin and/or false doctrine.

    Matthew 16:8-12.

    Notice here in Leviticus 23:16-17

Israel is commanded to eat leaven on a particular day.

"Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD."

This day is called Shavuot or feast of Pentecost. "Some recognize as the birth of the Church.

The leaven here seems to suggest in a prophetic way the false doctrine that is to enter the Church.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

Thanks for the great replies. Just for the record I am NOT in a relationship. Nor am I planning to be in one. I once was happily married but apparently I was the only one. Husband left for greener pastures. The Lord is my Shepherd.

I find this very helpful indeed and I will share with my church helpers and everyone in the community. This makes things easier than flipping through pages looking up verses. Thanks.

    Hi Carol.

Black, White, Red, Brown, and sometimes blue if you mess with the wrong guy is the color of this tent we live in.

We in our carnal state identify sadly rank one another that way.

But when we are born again we should Identify one another as equal Brothers.

    God bless.

    Deuteronomy 21:22

And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

    Deuteronomy 22:26

But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

What sins are worthy of eternal death in the lake of fire? Only one that I am aware of and that is rejecting the truth God has revealed to the sinner's heart by the Holy Spirit.

    Hebrews 10:29

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

I tell those who believe Jesus is the Son of God but not God's equal that they just have a hard time understanding how God the Son and God the Father are One God because the nature of God cannot be comprehended in human terms. To illustrate how the Godhead is not something that can be described in earthly terms I like to point to Ezekiel 1 where we see a visual image of the invisible God, but not an image that can be comprehended in human terms.
  • Marke - In Reply on Genesis 1:26 - 3 years ago
God made all nations of one blood and divided the nations as He willed for His reasons. There is no sin or shame in belonging to one nation over another or one color over another. All men have the same color blood and are all descendants of the same two human parents dating back to Noah and his wife.

    Acts 17:26

    And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

The OT is full of types and shadows depicting truths that are revealed in the NT. The Greek word for "type" is translated "ensamples" in 1 Cor. 10:11. The unleavened bread of the OT was a type of the body of Jesus Christ, as alluded to in 1 Cor. 11:24.

    1 Corinthians 11:24

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Leaven in bread would represent corruption in Jesus body and we know there was no corruption in Jesus' body - hence unleavened bread has no leaven. We know leaven causes decay. This is how one rabbit described it:

"The imagery of leavening makes all the more sense when you know how leavening was done in ancient times, before the little "Red Star" packets came along. Whenever grain or flour is allowed to get moist, within a few days it will acquire a sour taste and start to ferment because of microbes in the air that cause the grain to decay."

The Bible refers to leaven as an agent of decay in 1 Cor 5:

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

    Dear Roseanna

    According to my opinion:

    1) If you are not in communion with God's children then you will probably have communion with unbelievers. That means that you are at a risk to drift towards world's way which is sinful. If you are an old person and can't go to church then there are other ways like tv, radio, internet that you can use to be with fellow christians.

    2) Two conditions are necessary for salvation.

    a. New Birth

    b. Baptized in water.

    3) Barbie's baptism is not valid. New Birth has to be done by God's Word. A baby can not understand, or believe, or repent. 1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever"

    4) God has placed an hierarchy in the Church. It is not for everybody to do everything. It has to be a pastor or an elder of the church. Now if a baby dies before being baptized then it certainly goes to Heaven.

A Christian who is walking with God can pray for anything according to the will of God and it will be given to him. But the Christian must have faith and faith is based upon the written word of God so any requests not harmonizing with God's word will not be granted by God.
  • Marke - In Reply - 3 years ago
Christians will be judged on their obedience to Christ. If Jesus is leading a person to go to church then he should go to church. If Jesus is leading a person to not go to church then that person should not go to church. Every sinner and every saint will be judged according to the word of God and the person's obedience or disobedience to the word of God. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind knowing that whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

A person who meets this definition is someone who fears God and has no will but to seek and serve God without reservation. This verse comes to mind:

    Isaiah 66:2

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

The Bible tells us that the Israelites were to eat only unleavened bread every year during Passover as a commemoration of the Exodus from Egyptian bondage. Since the children of Israel left Egypt hastily, they did not have time for the bread to rise. Deuteronomy 16:3: "Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction, because you left Egypt in haste-so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt".

In the Bible, leaven is symbolic of sin. The NT makes this very clear. ( Luke 12:1; 1 Cor. 5:6-7; Gal. 5:9) Like leaven that permeates the whole lump of dough, sin will spread in a person, a church, or a nation, eventually overwhelming and bringing its participants into its bondage. The bread that Jesus and broke would have been unleavened bread, which Christians are told to take and eat also.

I'm not sure what you mean by asking about calling Jesus the son of David, but there is this verse:

    Matthew 1:1

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

No Adam you do greatly err Paul had the H.G. But Paul said when i wd do good Evil is present with me...So with my mind i serve the law of God but with my flesh the law of sin...Adam we are involved in a warfare after we are saved and filled with the H.G...Satan keeps on fighting us even after we are saved...Jesus wants sow a good seed in us but after the GOOD SEED is sown in us...Then satan sows a tare in us...We do not get rid of Satan the tare till the harvest...Even after we are saved Satan is trying to kill us spritually...Jesus said at the harvest i will say to the reapers gather up the tares in bundles and burn them...But the HARVEST IS THE END OF THE WORLD...But gather the wheat into my barn...His kingdom

....Adam yes sin is Satan...ANYTHING not of FAITH is sin...and all sin is of the devil SATAN...As he is the God of this present world...When Jesus said you are of your Father the DEVIL thats b/c of sin...Our carnal minds is Satans Seat as Rev 2 :13..John was writing to the Angel at the Church at Pergamos and he said i know where thou DWELLEST even where SATANS SEAT IS ...In the mind of man...our carnal minds is the very enemy of God according to Romans 8 : 7...We are 2 persons the wheat and the tares make us 2 persons...thus the warfare, the 2 men in 1 bed is really just 1 person that has been bornagain thus the wheat and the tares make him 2 persons...The wheat will be taken but the tares will be burned.

....Adam Jesus plainly tells us Outta of the hearts of man proceeds ALL MANNER OF EVIL....( Satan )...That should tells ya something about our carnal minds being in rank with Satan.

.... 1ST John 3 : 8 All PEOPLE that practice SIN is of the Devil Satan, for this cause was the Son of God manifested that he might destroy the works of the Devil ( satan )....Mans carnal mind has to be renewed we all need the mind of Christ.

.....Adam.... Rev 22 : 3 John said he saw no more Curse this implies no more Adamic Nature , no more SATANS SEAT...Gbu Adam...

This could this stem from early childhood experience? We tend to attract what we expect on a sub-conscious level. Don't let others determine your own self-worth. Build yourself up by repeating relevant scriptures: What does God say about you? The Gospel reveals your value - Christ died for you; you are fearfully and wonderfully made; you are a child of God, and you are loved with an everlasting love.

Most scholars believe that the words adamah, Adam, and Edom stem from a root word with the basic meaning of "red." The word adamah could then be more literally translated "red ground," and the name Adam could be said to mean "red man" or "man from the red dirt."

When Rebekah gave birth to Jacob and Esau, we read: 24 When her time came to give birth, there were indeed twins in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. Esau becomes known as Edom from his foolish decision to trade his birthright and father's blessing for some red stew. Of course, Esau was the brother who did not inherit the father's blessing and I believe he represents the fleshly nature of man. The two brother's theme in Genesis is very interesting in this regard.

Why do some Christians choose not to witness?
  • Dorothy Healy - In Reply - 3 years ago
The Beatitudes is a carefully constructed teaching on the way of salvation and entry into the Kingdom of Heaven, and acknowledging the poverty of our spirit is where our spiritual journey begins. To be spiritually poor is to acknowledge there is something missing deep inside of us. This acknowledgment brings about the repentance necessary for salvation, and opens the door to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Following this we have blessed are those who mourn . It is the Holy Spirit that brings our internal poverty and brokenness to the surface, and the mourning we experience here can be very deep; our hearts are then prepared to encounter the comforting of the LORD, as promised - a comforting we have never before known.
