Not that I could say much you don't already know you are much older and wiser than me (that didn't go too well either)
Better leave while I'm ahead.
Seems strange coming from me but I am actually hopeful in some ways on this subject; I suppose I mentioned a couple things.
You understand I am not being glib about immorality but saying a child can still be a blessing. It brings some people together who finally decide to get married; others not although they still can be good parents.
Guess it is nice you have your family and such to continue God's work of bearing children and being fruitful. If I knew you I'd bring some young folk to hear your wisdom but I guess since you're clear across the country and anonymous that ain't happening.
Ok have a blessed night (guess it's still light out there)

My question in regard to verse
Revelation 20:12
How many books were opened?
Where is the reference to sins we have committed?
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12-13
God will judge personal sin. THE "LEFT HAND PROPLE"
The Bible is clear that individuals who practice sin will be judged. For example, there's a large laundry list of sin in Romans 1:29-31.
(29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,"
(30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,"
(31)Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:"
Paul clearly states that God will judge those who practice those things.
Romans 2:2
"But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things."
Romans 2:3
"And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Revelation 21:8
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
This portion of scripture
also gives us a list of those who practice sins and what will become of them.
Likewise, Hebrews tells us God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
Hebrews 13:4
"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."
To top it all off, Jesus himself says the one who rejects Him will be judged.
John 12:48
"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, THE SAME SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY.
So the conclusion is unavoidable-God is Good
So anyway I guess the definition here is taking action above and beyond what is respectable but it ties into our mindset that is prone to wander. I could tie this into faith vs works in that if we try to do things that are legalistic and such it is a sort of ordinance that we add on to God's instructions; also if we don't help others then our faith is dead as James brings out. So I guess I am broadening things beyond going in excess of God's standards and also saying when we don't do enough; that is not technically the definition but I am saying that we need to be in communion with God so that He truly knows us.
Oh yeah the other example was Paul's attempt to go into Bithynia and the Spirit said twice no then a vision redirected him to Macedonia. Now if he hadn't been walking in the Spirit he would have glibly gone there and perhaps his life prematurely ended; we don't know God's logic here. I guess I am saying that men presume that they know things and only rely on their human understanding and not realize that the Word is the living Word and a relationship needs to occur with the living God or they can't be enlightened; and of course we also have to avoid the other extreme of all sorts of extrabiblical "revelations"; crtainly if they disagree with scripture.
I guess that's all on this subject for now.
I presume so anyway... :)
Cheap emoje.
Agape.
As I was saying...
I put my hand on my belly and very deeply realized that I would never, unless God gave me a miracle pregnancy, be thrilled to know I was pregnant, to feel the baby move within me, to birth a beautiful baby, nourish a baby at the breast or go through all the wonders of infancy-adulthood with another child.
Perhaps not many see things the way I do. I am pretty aware of having a minority view on this subject from when I was first married, even among believers. But I am glad that I never embrace artificial birth control.
That being said. I think that this topic is so "everyday" in our society that very few really give it much thought about its morality or whether it honors God or not. I shared this in hopes that some would be led to take this choice to the Lord for their marriage and seek His truth and guidance. That is what I did in my teens. Being surrounded by the pro-birth control people of my generation, I did seek the Lord in prayer and in learning how methods worked in regards to supporting conceived life or not, and in honoring the way God created in women the fertility cycle that prepared her body each cycle to become pregnant, receive a newly conceived child into the uterine lining, sustain the baby throughout the pregnancy, and give birth to a new baby that God created and blessed the mother and father with.
I was different from most people my age at the time. I was not easily sway by the prevailing mindset of my peers. I was really decisive about what I would do in most things, but especially for my future as a wife and mother. What God would have me think and do was really foremost in my mind to a great degree and so I resisted the many moral pitfalls that most young people chose to engage in in my youth. I was not perfect, of course, and have many things that I needed to confess and be forgiven of as well as do an about-face. But I am thankful for the nearness of God and His wise counsel to me.
God helps us all.
I am sure that I'm missing some stuff here but in the New Testament with Ananias and Sapphira they probably were presumptious on God's grace and understanding in the way they changed their promise for a full payment of something vowed; a no no. God knew and nothing could be kept from Him. A person in real need would have offered half of what they owned to begin with if the rest was important to keep. WE could talk about the Pharisees and who they presumed Christ was and how the Messiah would behave that they had from portions of scripture they weren't fully enlightened on. May we be as Gideon and the angel when he was told that he was on the Lord's side; as God can chastise us by placing people against us due to stubborness; whether we are saved or not. By and large he won't bother with the unregenerate but of course we don't know who they are; at least at first.
Let me see the definition of presumption. Webster's online says: overstepping due bounds (as of propriety or courtesy) : taking liberties. Hmm. Let me ponder this a bit.
This is very short and also perhaps broader than I realize. I suppose it could apply to those who always have a dream; or vision as attempting to place it at the level of scripture; or women teaching in church; or anything else not permitted.
We have verses such as this: You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. ( Deut. 2:3) and
Joshua 7:10-12 (Message translation)
10-12 God said to Joshua, "Get up. Why are you groveling? Israel has sinned: They've broken the covenant I commanded them; they've taken forbidden plunder-stolen and then covered up the theft, hoarding it up with their own stuff. The People of Israel can no longer look their enemies in the eye-they themselves are plunder. I can't continue with you if you don't rid yourselves of the cursed things.
I used this because I like the word groveling. Here He says go so at times inaction is presumption.
I have known since the 70's that the IUD stops a newly created life from implanting in the uterus (a form of abortion). It causes the lining to be constantly irritated and inhospitable to the reception of a new life. Thus it is one of the most effective non-reversible forms of birth control. Also I have known since then that the birth control pill does not always prevent ovulation (the high dose of estrogen pills of the 60's) but the low-dose, mostly progestin only pill since then does little to prevent ovulation, instead it doesn't allow the uterine lining to properly build up in cycles to be receptive to a newly conceived life, thus being more of a form of abortion than prevention of conception. The abortions from the IUD and birth control pill are silent in that the user never really knows when one occurs. But I would estimate that it happens fairly often in women who have sexual relations in every cycle. Any cycle could end up with conception in such a case, but the pregnancy is aborted by these forms of birth control before the woman knows she is pregnant because she does not miss her menses.
The information on these methods have been out since I was a young adult, but are not openly talked about by may people. Most people do not go looking for this information because they want to use these birth control methods without guilt.
I agree with you that at times, sterilization is appropriate if the life or health of the mother or any baby conceived would be at great risk. That was my case. The risk was to any baby I would conceive (this was after my 3rd baby. I discovered at 29 weeks of this great risk. He was born healthy, but the risk remained to a high percentage to any future babies) for the remainder of my fertile years. With months of prayer and sadness, we followed the lead of the Holy Spirit with a tubal ligation. It was one of the worst days of my life as I come out of surgery and awakened, putting my hand on my belly--oops need more space
Job probably thought he was ready for God and seemed to justify his righteousness; but of course he had a one two smackdown then finally things were set straight. The book of Job isn't so much doing something without seeking God's counsel except of course for his friends who seemed to have all the answers without it would appear seeking God in prayer for wisdom. Basically it was the symptoms of Job that pushed him to be presumptious as to the cause from God and that this meant He no longer was with him. This of course could also carry to the example of Christ suffering on the cross; and the great prophets dying as martyrs. We therefore should never assume things will always continue as they are; and allow the comforts of this life to get in the way so that we can face even martyrdom if necessary; and certainly persecutions which we all are promised to suffer in some form.
Lack of trust in God causes a lot of problems. I mentioned a while back of Saul's rebellion in attempting to conduct a sacrifice when Samuel delayed and that is much like Aaron with the golden calf when Moses delayed. Now in this case it wasn't idolotry but this attitude made Saul lose the kingship when he was disobedient destroying all the men and animals he was commanded to in conquest. Thus came the famous verse "obedience is better than sacrifice" which encompassed both errors he made ( 1 Samuel 15:22). We see the same issue of course when the rout occured with the initial assault on AI. (not artificial intelligence) There was the case of disobedience and covetousness involved which would bring the death penalty. We also see how rebellion in the book of Numbers of the sons of Korah allowed for hell to literally swallow men whole; not a trivial matter. The Lord expects us to respect boundaries. We see that when Moses was given a hard time about his second wife he had to pray for Miriam so that her leprosy would be removed as punishment.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. ( Psalm 50:21)
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. ( Ecclesiastes 8:11)
When we go back to the garden; we have the first idea that presumption is at play. We see in Genesis 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. After this they continued briefly it seems until they heard the Lord; realizing it seems that their covering was insufficient. Then of course they were discovered and God had to give them a covering and they passed along blame down the line to Satan. In reality of course the serpent got the worst end of the deal; having to crawl on its belly in the dirt forevermore after the event; although things weren't exactly stellar for man either. Guess it was no skin off Satan's back in regard to the serpent's fate (if you get my drift).
Or; as the words to the song from what is said to be the band Squeeze
Tempted by the fruit of another
Tempted but the fruit was discovered.
Now of course that stanza is talking about infidelity; but in a sense they were spiritually acting that way with the fruit in the garden.
Anyway; my point is presuming things would be the same was a fool's errand and flopped from the onset. We move on to the book of Job (although I have examples starting in Genesis chronologically Job was said to be perhaps the oldest book in the Bible). Anyway; we see in Job 1 and 2 what was going down in the spirit realm with Satan and then the presumption or perhaps assumption that God was the cause of all his problems and of course his friends also with the presumption he must have done something to deserve his plight.

Pt. 2
And by the turn of the century, it became very difficult for most couples to survive on one income as was common prior to 1960. In those times, a single income could provide a comfortable middle class life. But, now, that is not very possible.
We, as a society have made our lives much more difficult financially as a result of this history. In the 70's - 90's the propaganda of "overpopulation" was pervasive and most couples had only a few children, with one or two being the "ideal". Now it is difficult for couples with both people working to afford having children.
This mindset is truly a form of insidious annihilation, just what Satan wants!
Therefore, it is important for us to heed Scripture, adopting the mindset for marriage and family life taught there and not from the world. Yet, young couples who wish to do so are caught between a rock and a hard place due to the road taken in our society back in Sanger's day and through the decades that followed. It is sad that so many family relationships are slowly being eliminated with couple not having children, or having only one or two. This trend results in eliminating relationships such as: having a brother and/or sister or even a sibling relationship at all; the elimination of children today having more than a few aunts/uncles, cousins or none. This is not God's design for family.
The revolution in values, sexual practices, drug use, and refection of authority that occurred with the 60's and 70's and onward has been so destructive to nations that God had blessed and prospered because they as a whole were of a Christian mindset. This departure from such a societal mindset swung open the door to outright paganism, humanism, and the secularization of society. We have much to repent of before God for how we have contributed do this whole modern u-turn from God and His holy ways and Word.
As believers, we need to keep praying for our society, communities, families, and those we know reject God.
So we may disagree in the case of stopping life as opposted to killing it; but I suppose that is another factor here not considered.
I will bring out also that it is actually better today in the sense that some single moms probably more than in the past will keep their baby rather than aborting or giving it away. The stigma also of biracial kids has in many ways reduced so again; something has improved as I see it.
All of this; of course goes to trusting God. Surely there should have been incentive for married people to have financial help as were the single moms in the same situation. But again the church I think fumbled the ball in subject to the self righteous who looked at the sin of ffornication and the disgrace due to pride rather than focusing on something God created in the process; a human soul. In some way even those who are purposeley invading our country from Islam state that since we won't have the kids they will if just to dominate in numbers.
Anyway; today I got the orders to avoid all the trigger foods for IBS which indeed it appears I have had for a long time. It won't be easy but worth it surely; although I guess that condition more women are supposed to have. PRobably all those antibiotics from younger years had some affect I would guess. Waiting to hopefully hear in the next week that electic is on in my retreat cabin so I can go check things out. Have been on the fence; if I think things are hopeful I will continue here as primary residence.
Again since you are one of the people reading my stuff who comments I will be open to suggestions or criticism
What you have quoted from Margaret Sanger, who adhered to the eugenics of the time, are true of her. She believed that white affluent people should have many children and that those who were "undesirable", the poor, immigrants, non-whites, should have less children in order to not just reduce their population but to eliminate their progeny and future generations. She was for sterilizing such people against their will, worked at distributing birth control and abortion in neighborhoods where these "undesirable" people lived. This is why so many abortion clinics are located in predominantly black communities.
She was for the elimination of such people. So, rather than being a "pioneer" of birth control and the freeing of couples from undesired pregnancies, she was quite evil minded.
I've known this about her and Planned Parenthood since my young adulthood (in the late 70's), being pro-life as a teen during the Row vs. Wade era in the early 70's.
The 60's and 70's, where we witnessed the radical changes to sexual, cultural, and marital mores, truly resulted from the embracing of population control of her day and the decades that followed where churches began deeming birth control acceptable for Christian couples. The rebellion of the 60's and 70's did not happen out of thin air. When our parents (the adults of the 30's-60's embraced limiting their family size to approximately half of what it would normally have been (4-5 children was very normal in these decades), women were able to enter the job market when their youngest was in school, which led to two income family wealth and the feminist push for women to seek careers outside of the home, denigrating motherhood, taking care of the family household. This led in just a few generations, to the eventual rise in cost of all things needed: housing, food, goods, etc. and by the time my children were growing up in the 80's and 90's it was more common for mothers to be employed than to stay home. Pt. 2
Sorry, I misunderstood. We sometimes overlook the simplicity of Christ and what Scripture is truly saying about what is to come. Not everyone who has lived has heard of the saving grace given in Jesus Christ. If those who are cast into the lake of fire and burn forever, they also have been given the gift of eternal life. Not so, they will perish.
God bless,

Justification is God's legal declaration that a sinner is righteous because of faith in Jesus Christ. It is the act where God credits Christ's righteousness to us, not because of our works, but by grace through faith. Romans 3:23-24 teaches that all have sinned but are justified freely by God's grace through Jesus. Romans 5:1 states that being justified brings peace with God and salvation. Justification secures our right standing with God and guarantees eternal life.
In summary: Reconciliation restores relationship, forgiveness removes sin's guilt, and justification legally declares us righteous and saves us through faith in Christ's work on the cross.
Believe in Jesus and the finished work of the cross, and all this belongs to you.
It really is just that simple
Don't confuse our sins being forgiven with being saved that is a totally separate issue. Yes our sins were forgiven at the cross, that does not mean we are sinless that would be contradictory to the scripture for we know that we are born in sin and shaping in an equity, it only means that our sins are not being held against us. Let's face it from a very young age through our entire life occasionally we will sin that's just how the flesh operates, but those sins have already been forgiven by the blood of Jesus on the cross See below.
Forgiveness at the cross is the specific act where God cancels the debt of our sins by Jesus' sacrifice. Forgiveness means our sins are wiped away and not held against us. Ephesians 1:7 says we have redemption and forgiveness through Jesus' blood. Colossians 2:13-14 shows that Jesus' death canceled the record of our sins. Forgiveness is a key part of reconciliation but focuses specifically on sin's penalty being removed.
I hope that helps.
God bless
"It is what we consider: his deep sleep and creation of Adam foreshadows the purpose for which God prepared the body. "
please read it as follows:
"It is what we consider: his deep sleep and creation of Eve foreshadows the purpose for which God prepared the body".
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." First A body for his Son. (Heb.10.5) God created man after our likeness so Adam was created as a double for his Son. The breath of God kickstarted the glorious body of man so he was not only after our image but also 'after his likeness.' It is what we consider: his deep sleep and creation of Adam foreshadows the purpose for which God prepared the body. It was the cumination of faith holding two worlds framed by the word of God. Definition of faith is the substance of the Fellowship of God with Man in which every believer is invited to enter and into the rest of God. Man and woman were naked but they were not ashamed. It was God's rest so the inner man is sign of the redemption of their soul, so to speak.
"for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground./ But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."(2.5-6) Besides the breathr of God the mist from the earth watering the garden speaks of the anointing from his Son because of whom the earth abides forever. In terms of the salvation how on earthy heresy has crept in. Once saved man is saved forever. A lie to be sure. Sin of disobedience sent Adam to work his way up from the ground from which he was taken. God clothed them with coats of skins foreshadowed a Saviour the lasy Adam who is spiritual, he is also the Lord from heaven would be required. Fallen Angels were merely a distraction because God presented his firstborn into the world w'worship ye him.' So God shall set up two witnesses on the earth as He did in the garden of Eden and the two great lights. We shall come to it.
Revelation 20:12-15.
PART ( 1)
My question in regard to verse
Revelation 20:12
How many books were opened?
Where is the reference to sins we have committed?
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
Malachi 3:18
"Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not."
I understand that the scriptures in
Malachi 3:16 and Matt. 25:33- refers to the RIGHT HAND PEOPLE.
Malachi 3:16
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name."King James Version (KJV)
They to whom he promised this reward mentioned in Matt. 25:34
Matthew 25:33
. "another book was opened which is the book of life," refers to the those who are judged by their works that
Jesus named in this Scripture:
"shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Matthew 25:34
"Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:"
(1) God will judge on what is written in those books. Including his Word to us by the Prophets and His Son. Our High Priest, Jesus Christ.
(2) GOD's judgement is based o
Luke 17:20-21 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Matthew 11:12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
John 14:12-14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
I have put a framework here; of several scriptures that no doubt are used by Dominionists and others of that persuasion to promote their agenda. What think ye?
Now a full Preterist may use the logic that Christ has already returned; hence this logic seems; well logical. Of course there would literally be no way when Antichrist appears they wouldn't know the difference. That is the main point if anything is here because everyone not written in the Book of Life worships him ( Rev. 13:8). For the Jews; of course in John 5:43 states
"I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."
And in regard to the wheat and tares: Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. ( Matt. 13:30).
I suspect the spirit of humanism will be revived along with other malevalent influence from the angel Apollyon rising from the pit
( Rev. 9:1-12). The Lord will rule and reign over the nations; and will judge rightly which humanists say they want; but also all the tares are burned.
I focused an earlier segment on 2 Peter 3:16 regarding twisting scripture that is complex; today I want to focus on another verse.
1 Timothy 6:3-5: "If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words."
At best a tare is someone who tolerates church; Bible reading and other Christian activities. One way or another they play church. As the Word says in Matthew 12:34
34 Brood[a] of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
I was thinking of the last part of the passage but in reality we see in the whole verse the true evil we are discussing here.
The Pharisees certainly were masters at form and ceremony for recognition. There are some tares in the church today that do this; if they aren't just sitting on the sidelines; they are likely to be endlessly conversing; oftentimes not about the Word I would surmise. When they are I would say 9 times out of 10 it is praising the Pastor for the message and delivery and people centered on those whose influence is most important to their own social circle of interest (likely business or for gossip purposes). Again as I have cautioned before someone can be immature in the faith who does this; and conversely more dangerously may appear in many more ways to do works that demonstrate genuine faith. Less often would that be focusing on prayer and other such activities outside church. I would say that this could be; as with my earlier posting be someone who is ultimately swayed by a political agenda; and that can be on either side of the spectrum. If we agree with the right for instance it should never be at the expense of idolizing anyone in power; or supporting excesses of power not in their authority to do.
The influence of Eastern religions began with the novelty of Yoga and various teachers of the craft that were popular; particularly during the 1970s with meditation and such. Once the Vietnam war ended; and society more or less prospered for the majority of Americans things focused more into self absorption so that by the 80s and beyond economic status and career aspirations took over as a primary factor driving the youth; and music itself was; in my opinion dumbed down significantly once the synthesizer and more artificial means of entertainment became the standard operating procedure. That has pretty much continued until recent years when certain movements have grown that are almost exclusively far leftist; and funded by rich oligarchs; unlike what was clearly a more spontaneous movement the generation before that had to be held down; today without the financiers nothing much seems to happen.
A basic facet here is the concept of freedom; for now I'll focus on what is considered rights that we fought and; at least theoretically died for that are in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. There used to be some acknowledgment and appreciation in that regard among some but since education on that subject is so sparce kids today don't normally even have the option to value such things. In general our country wants to remain free; which implies some basic elements of the laws still apply to justify this mindset even if most people haven't studied the details. But freedom leans dangerously to pride; and comfort in wanting to retain status no matter what means we come to a crossroads. We either adhere to the Biblical elements meant to accompany our independence; or we seek freedom any way possible; including anarchy and violence associated with it. We have therefore given rights to criminals and in the process the tares have found a way to justify dominion in this world by twisting Scripture.
In terms of the left giving aide for African Americans in a large part it brought dependency and as far as helping them with unwanted pregnancies; the truly Satanic agenda of Margaret Sanger is seen in this; one of many quotes (A to Z quotes)
The masses of N...particularly in the South, still breed carelessly and disasterously, with the result that the increase among N..., even more than among whites, is from that portion of the population least intelligent and fit.
Obviously I had to leave the one word out but you get the picture; many here are already aware how this whole abortion mill got started.
Case example #2 War
Humanism had anti war and establishment movements in the spirit of the age as popularized in much folk music at the time.
This would later extend to other venues but listening to things from that era you can sense the general spirit of the time.
Again; our history brings out many justifiable as well as reprehensible actions; and today for now we don't have the draft forcing people to fight against their will at times. Ignoring the evils of atheistic communism which apparently caused more deaths than those of religious persuasion of any sort in the last century or two should be sobering reminder that avoiding conflict at any cost can have bad consequences.
Case example #3 Free love The trashing of traditional family values was initiated; more or less by a move against hypocritial authority represented by the previous genration and perpetuated by the individual's own situation and agenda. Again; there are valid points here; but this rebellion and freedom to love anyway we wanted moved from general fornication to that of the alternative lifestyles; shall we say of same sex relationships to now what is defined in innumerable ways; all of which are profane in God's eyes.
Case example #4 Humanism's biggest element snuck in once we got to the influence of the Beatles in particular with Eastern
Religions.
The Word needs to be active as Ephesians 6 indicates. Internalizing the Word means more than just intellectual assent; or scripture memory but it is our default mode; as it were in life's difficulties. Learning to feed ourselves should be practiced along with seeking the counsel and prayer of others.
As I ended the last post; I wanted to state that those who know Christ don't mind exhortation and even if they are not in need of such they appreciate hearing the Word on the subject and the concern of a friend who is willing to press forth so as to help with growth for another brother or sister. As my post yesterday explained a love for the law isn't something foreign to us; even though living to attempt to attain perfection through all the O.T. laws will lead to exhaustion and failure in our own efforts.
I was thinking about humanism the other day and how that philosophy or rather religious spirit hijacked much of the church in the 60s and it hasn't been the same. The first issue as I mentioned before that bears repeating is the concept that man is basically good and governments in particular are bad. This mindset infected the church so that the social justice issue superceded scripture and proper protocol in many places.
Case study 1: Racism. In study of such a topic; we see that the situation was indeed more complex than the textbooks suggest; with many white people taken as slaves for a time in Europe; black slaveowners and those tied into profiteering; etc.
Whether in theory someone could be in such a position and treated humanely or not we obviously can't ignore the barbaric institution; whether the initial sale of people and transport like animals where many died before arriving here; or the beatings and untold other abuses that I don't have time to adequately explore here. If we claim to know Christ surely we should agree voting and wage rights were necessary issues to solve at that time. See next post.
The profound mystery is that all men are born once into this world but not all are born again by the Spirit of God.
Jesus said to the Pharisees what is also found in Isaiah 6:10 and numerous other scriptures namely:
Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."
Now what we do interpret with our five senses our minds can accept with sound impartial reasoning. Hebrews 11:1 says Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In John 10:38 Jesus responds to the Pharisees thusly:
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
This rationale apparently wasn't sufficient for those who would accuse Christ of blasphemy since only God could forgive sins; and this was the unforgiveable sin as the power Christ wielded such as healing the blind no man had been able to do even with God's power in the Old Testament. This is tantamount to Satan himself for he is going to seek worship of the whole world through his Antichrist beast and that has always been his ultimate goal. The enemy of our souls probably gets a perverse pleasure in damning other souls (although his oaths and bondage aren't sufficent to trap anyone God doesn't allow or is predestined for salvation). Since he's going to be suffering and only thinking of his own misery in judgment to come his real joy is seeing further rebellion against God and establishing his own kingdom with his powers and principalities working under him.
We might compare a tare; for instance to an AI of someone. Let me point out in the verse you shall know them by their fruits ( Matthew 7:16-20) means we should exhort one another. In general someone uninterested in challenges or suggestions for growth isn't producing fruit; and vice versa.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

But about works that are judged .
There is that judgement of the lost and the wicked which will be unto condemnation and each will find it " more tolerable" or less accordingly .
Hitler will find it exceedingly intolerable where another not so .
But all will like the man in he'll be in torment .
The saved and found in the book of life will also be judged but not unto condemnation but according to their works as to what sort they are . " hay wood or stubble " works of the flesh . Or spiritual of one sort and another .
Those who built of hay wood and stubble "will suffer loss as through fire" Lot comes to mind as an example .
Those who were more " careful what they built on the foundations" will be rewarded .
There are crowns to be won and there are crowns that can be lost . " be careful no one steals your crown ".
To " win the prize" says Paul we must run lawfully . That is not works of the law ( again) but according to the rules of the race so to speak . We if His are in the kingdom of God of Gods dear Son who is the King . There is the Law of sin and death and there is the Law of Christ and of Life . And again we have two very different things .
This perhaps is in some measure the understanding about " rightly dividing the Word ".
Like with like spiritual with spiritual .
When my son was born to my delight I saw my image in him . He bore my image because he came from me I was his father .
If I had not been his father hecwouid not have born my image but the image of his true father and I wouod have rejected him as my son.
A person who finds himself in hell will not be so much because he has sinned ,for who has not sinned? But because God couid not see His image in them . Why? Because they had rejected Jesus Christ the express image of the invisible God .
Another example how no 'works' of the flesh and of the Law cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear or turn leaf into gold .

1.1 God created heaven and the earth. Here the heaven represents the will of the Father and the earth as fulfilled by Son. As proof we have the substance or the body God has prepared for the Son. The will is complete and holy. Be ye holy, for I am holy does not come from God who changes as the Dispensationalists claim erroneously. The Father of all mercies and the grace of the Son are both sides of the coin. So to make an age of Law and an Age for grace is undercut the power and glory of God.
1.2 We have the generation of Jesus Christ. Jn.5.26-27 explains the quality of life. "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." Otherwise how shall he create?
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made./In him was life; and the life was the light of men."(Jn.1.3-4) The basis for the Covenant in seven days is the Word which was with God. Jesus Christ as the living word. The two witnesses in heaven we find repeated in the garden of Eden. This is set in the world of the Spirit neither in heaven per se nor on the earth. So with the fall of man he is sent back, " Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken."(Gen.3.23)
The Spirit thus sets three entities: God as the Father having a throne the earth as His footstool and the Son as a sign. Heaven or firmament refers to the Word which was with God. He declares the handiwork of God. He is also the brightness of his glory, the express image of His person.(Heb.1.3;Ps.19.1) God as the Father of all mercies, is associated with waters above the firmament. With the Advent of the Son grace was made manifest. Despite of these heresies still persist, Dispensationalism is certainly is printed from the devil's press.Be ye holy as God is holy, 'For I am holy' so is the Son since God gave him to have light in himself. As Word become flesh, he gave it a body as a template for all.

Your post is illuminating. The preconception of the meaning of a word makes the difference in how we hear the word of God. Where our mind goes when we hear the word works matters. When we see or hear that word, do we only see the works of the law? It becomes a scotoma, and we fail to see the true meaning of what Scripture, like the book of James, is saying. We all have preconceived ideas imprinted in our minds that we would benefit from taking a big broom and sweeping our minds clean.
Works are, as you refer to them, works of faith that produce fruit we are supposed to be doing and on which we will be judged. We see how many times Jesus spoke of the importance of producing fruit, and we should also not ignore the warnings about not producing fruit.
We see that mankind will be judged according to their works, whether they are good or evil. Many understand this is only for the lost, but is it?
Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
