Do you believe that this Babylon referred to in Rev. 18 is the United States/ New York ? It seems the only entity in the world that fits the description. Also it is not referred to in end times scenarios.

    Genesis 19:4-11

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Homosexuality is not a good thing, although so many in the world around us insist it is. They are deceived and their support for wickedness will not end well for them.

Yesterday near where I live a tornado was headed in my direction-a little beyond Round Rock Tx.

I started to weep because everyone in my complex is older/elderly. I prayed for the storm to go back up in the clouds.

It stopped 1 mile from our senior complex!! Went up in the clouds and came back down 10 miles east of us.

    And a rainbow appeared.

I went back in the house and wept because God is so good!! Ask for what you need.

    LOVE your neighbors.

    What is Christianity?

Question: "What is Christianity and what does God expect from Christians?"

    Bible Answers

There are two parts to Christianity. The first is the journey to becoming a Christian and the second is living the Christian life.

False Answers and false theological concepts because there is no such thing about unbiblical or unscriptural word "Christianity" literally found and written in the King James Version Holy Bible Edition 1611.

    Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJV)

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."

    Deuteronomy 12:32 (KJV)

"What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it."

    Proverbs 30:5-6 (KJV)

5 "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."

6 "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."

    Matthew 4:4

"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

    Revelation 22:18-19 (KJV)

18 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:"

19 "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

The unscriptural word "Christianity" is not the mouth of God even as it is neither the word of God that is contradicted to the unscriptural word theology that is still not literally found and written in the King James Version Holy Bible Edition 1611 Period

    How are you?

This is a great reading source of material and ought to be published widely so people can get the truth and read it thoroughly as in Holy Bible canonized scripture.

    MATTHEW 6:8

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

My question is are Father know what you need before praying about it.They when you pray for the things you need sometimes you receive it or never receive anything. I have prayed for thing as as single parent and no answer. I started questioning my Faith at times. I going through a question time now with adult child and still single.

yes To verse 20, Jeremiah 6,( I have a comment under this that said (when the Holy Scriptures are thrust aside, incense and burnt offerings become abominable to God. Placing faith in the ceremony instead of in what the ceremony represented, namely, Christ and Him Crucified, presents the wrong object of faith, which God can never accept.)

can someone please explain this statement Thank You very much. ? Dennis Kinyon,

Recently, I was reading Psalm 101:1 - "I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto Thee, O Lord, will I sing."

I would like to share Brother Charles Spurgeon's comments (in part) on the first part of this verse:

"David would extol both the love and severity, the sweets and the bitters, which the Lord had mingled in his experience; he would admire the justice and goodness of the Lord.......

Everything in God's dealings with us may fittingly become a theme of song, and we have not viewed it aright until we feel that we can sing about it.

We ought as much to bless the Lord for the judgment with which He chastens our sin, as for the mercy with which He forgives it; there is as much love in the blows of His hand as in the kisses of His mouth.

Upon a retrospect of their lives, instructed saints scarcely know which to be most grateful for -- the comforts which have cheered them, or the afflictions which have purged them."

How is it with us, dear brothers and sisters? Are we singing of BOTH the mercy AND the judgments of God in our lives? If yes - praise the Lord!

If not - let us be quickened by God's grace and Spirit to at once lift our hands and praise Him, acknowledging that He deals with us in kindness, intending to work ALL things for good for those who are the called according to His purposes!

    Selah!

    Blessings in Jesus!

Jesus said we are the light of the world. Does light speak or reveal?

Many Christians here in the US have known financial prosperity, both a blessing and possible peril. Our prosperity can make us less dependent on the fellowship of like minded believers and more dependent on continuing to establish an earthly kingdom. Our pilgrim and stranger status is forgotten while our earthly rights are enhanced by certain leadership choices. Do we not want in due time a peaceful departure into eternity? Do we want to leave behind an imbalanced witness of our profession of Jesus as the Lamb of God who saved our souls and gave us peace or our methods of operational worldly interests? What is the value of our salt? Can we be the quiet of the land? Can we by the grace of God be stewards of worldly goods as though we have them not, this kind of stewardship brings a peaceful way and a quiet and happy life even in tribulation.
