If the Holy ghost is always with us or in us. What is the washing all about, and are we being regenerated every day? My question is coming from this portion of scripture in Titus 3:5 part (B) per say. Where it states He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. I want to add I really appreciate the help in understanding the scriptures.

I have wondered why only Luke mentions angels (men) talking to the disciples at the ascention of Jesus, and asking why they all stood there, looking up into the sky? Were all the disciples present at the Ascention? - why wasn't more written about this event by the others'?

Before I go lay down a few hours, I want to testify; to those who need to feel Gods love today.

After I was saved out of the occult and low living-I heard friends say, "There's no way God can ever forgive YOU !!!

It crushed my heart and spirit. I grieved for days.

Then I had a vision. I saw Jesus laying atop of His cross on the ground. His hands were still nailed. My mind remembered what those people said of me again. I knew I could make Jesus sorry he had ever chosen me. Rage exploded and loss.

I saw a rock and picked it up. I struck Jesus's hands with it, as I was looking in his eyes. He didn't wince. He said, I love you. I hit him again, I didn't deserve love. He said I love you. Everyone I tried to love betrayed me. I hit him over and over. He looked in my eyes and said I love you, each time.

I dropped the rock and fell on his chest. I cannot describe his voice and his arms around me. I felt all of the self-hate come out in tears. It changed my life forever.

Let Jesus love you. In Him is all of the love your heart and soul crave. One day we will be with Him.

Verse 12 chapter 1 Solomon. I'm unsure what to make of this. The error of your life. Seek not death understood but error of life what does this mean? In addition put not destruction with the works of your hands meaning don't harm, steal or use to hurt yourselves or others? Is this kind of what verse is trying to deliver to reader?

    Thank you,

  • USING THE SEARCH ENGINE on this website - 2 years ago
When you come into this website you're on the RED LINK PAGE.

Up at the top is the SEARCH BOX. Links for all books of the Bible is below that. for Bible subject only

    Example:

You can put the word 'Atonement' in the Search box and hit the arrow >

The engine will fetch every scripture that contains that word. You can sort the list; choose OT or NT only; and the engine places the list in book order.

With DATES OR HISTORY, you'll have to go on GOOGLE. Type it in like this:

    "Atonement, history".

You have to use ancient names from ancient maps.

By using all the search options, you'll learn some really awesome information. If search doesn't fetch anything try wording it differently.

If it fetches 5,000 verses; try wording it another way or just look at only OT or NT verses.

Look around on this whole website to see what's in it. If you get lost, just back out and come back in. Curious is good.

The location of the COMMENTARY BOX is below the search box. Touch a scripture and it will highlight Yellow. Scroll down slowly.

I like: BIBLEHUB on Google. It is many commentaries, to compare

    ***continued from previous post;

Who can tell who might say as many did on THE DAY OF PENTECOST/SHAVOUT In the 2nd chapter of the Book Of Acts "...what must we do to be saved?" Amen? AMEN!!!

BTW, remember sodom & gomorrah, & "the days of Noah"

again MARANATHA! & kol tuv (be well) etc .... in Jesus' Name!

u know folks, while listenning to 'uplifting' gospel music ["I feel your spirit" sung by Polish young people & "flash mob" videos ] i felt led to share some thoughts/scriptures with you concernig today's present world situation [i.e. spiritual warfare]. Paul here in this chapter vs.4-5 reminds us what our warfare & weapons are all about, especially if/when sin is in the/our camp, thru out the Bible (KJV) revival & victory is won/guaranteed when we put WORSHIPPERS IN FRONT/AHEAD OF EVERYTHING ELSE (did we forget again?), beginning with a return to the Word Of God! Remember Jericho? The Day Of Pentecost, Hezekiah's revival etc?

The scripture in Isaiah 58:1 says show *'My People' their transgressions & *'The House Of Jacob' their sins! A clear distinction of the two ("why call me LORD, LORD ....). Can you imagine what would/could happen if we put Judah (Praise/spiritual weapons) in front/before PEACEFUL patriotic truckers assemblies world wide, especially in CANADA & AMERICA? What could the people satan is using do "IN SUCH A TIME AS THIS" (REMEMBER QUEEN ESTHER)

"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US CAN/WILL PROSPER" Isaiah 54:17, no matter who seems to be in power! Stop following the enemies [followers of the devil (evil one)] naratives/talking points and do as little David did against his giant foe, Goliath! He used what worked for him, 'his weapon' (sling shot) and we all should know what followed!

So be encouraged to fight these situations with OUR WEAPONS WHICH ARE SPIRITUAL, and watch what happens, Game Over! "If my people who are called by My Name, would humble themselves & pray...."

"Doers & not hearers" of God's Word(s)! Amen? AMEN!!! Patriots everywhere need our support [try worship music at your events when possible; it will also attract & encourage our young people & others]

I'm your brother in Yeshua Hammachiah/Christ Jesus our Lord & Saviour; I am also a whosoever of whosoevers according to John 3:16.

God Bless & Stay Safe, i.e. kol tuv etc!

    MARANATHA!
  • GiGi on Exodus 12 - 2 years ago
    ....continued.

Pharaoh even had the gall to ask Moses to bless him. He must have feared for his own life. Even the Egyptian people told the Israelites to leave in haste because they feared they all would die if they remained. The Israelites did as instructed, asking the Egyptians for gold, silver, raiment, which the Egyptians gave willingly. And so it is said that in this way the Israelites plundered Egypt. So they must have left with quite a haul. The Israelites carried their kneading bowl on their shoulders and the dough they had made lacked leaven and they left Egypt, journeying as far as Succoth from Raamses(in Goshen). Where was this Succoth? EAst of Egypt between Raamses and Etham. Many other people exited Egypt with the Israelites. Their origins are not mentioned.

This chapter mentions that the length of the sojourn of Israelites was 430 years, as told to Abraham in Genesis.

So, as mentioned in several posts on this chapter, this account of the passover has many instances that point to Jesus. He was the "first born" who was slaughtered. He was the passover lamb that was sacrificed for God's people's deliverance from the plague of death. His blood was shed and spread over the doorway of our bodies, our hearts. He was the unleavened bread, without sin, broken for us. His bones were not broken just like the lambs'. He died so that His people can live. His blood marks us as His own people.

The Israelites needed to have faith that God would indeed spare them when he "saw" the blood on their doorways. The Israelites were to do all as Moses instructed them by faith that God's ways are right and he is faithful to His words to Moses. The Israelites were to leave on Moses' command and not even think about staying behind and by faith, believe that God would lead them to a land they did not know. The Israelites where then instructed to perpetuate this passover meal forever as a remembrance of God's deliverance of them from death, bondage, and the ways of Egypt.

Not sure you will see this but one question, it says they will be partakers of the Holy Spirit. Does this mean they have received the Holy Spirit? My assumption is yes. So they were believers? Thank you
