I agree with S Spencer about all the end-time speculations on things we will not know the answer to until things start to happen. All these pointing fingers at different nations. Did Daniel know Rome would be the fourth beast? No. He was not told.
Hopefully, this will be enough information and with some study, the truth can be seen.
End time prophecy can be like a ring, both ends touch and we can get caught up in this ring that has no beginning or end with the answers just out of reach and if we are not careful we can be deceived, the meaning of deceived is to be taken out of the way. This is not speculation about the end times and not to create division, it is about a prophecy that has already been fulfilled. It will be in 3 parts, sorry for the length but I feel it needs to be said. I will post in reverse so hopefully, it can be read from part one to part three.

Trying to give " Mystery Babylon " a location and actually locate it is like arguing the location of sun light.
This is where fastening on what's that far ahead could be as bad as Lots wife looking back If all of this is just a hobby to you that has become an obsession.
ASK YOURSELF, WILL FOLLOWING YOU IN THESE VIEWS SAVE LIVES!!
If not when Christ comes and all you ever did is debate eschatology in vain you may be found sleeping!!
It's like going to the airport and waiting for your flight starring at your ticket in the
concourse and mis your plane.
Yes! I believe we will be raptured up before all these events take place. What should we be doing in the meantime?
The apostles laid the foundation with the Lord as the chief corner stone, How are we to build upon it? Spend your entire life on eschatology and condemn everyone that doesn't agree with you?, NO!
1 Peter 2:5-6. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
( Do your zeal for ministry mirror this?)
2 Peter 3:14. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Matthew 24:45-46. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
God bless.
(But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.)
1 John 2:1
(My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:)
1 Thessalonians 4:17
(Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.) Any time we need an uplifting, we should always go to the Word of God, that is where we will find peace, comfort, and the answer to everything that is important. Prayers for all.
Why does the KJV translate the last half of Job 17:6 in the past tense, but, other translations in the present?
If you use the past tense, then, Job is referring to how the people previously viewed and treated him.
If you use the present tense, then, it seems that Job is referring to how they treat him now.
Which is correct?
Thank you.
To pray for our loved ones we need to come against the enemy and pray that they would receive the truth. To come against the enemy, we need to first know what our power and authority is in Jesus.
Behold, I give unto you authority to tread over ALL the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you ( Luke 10:19). Authority is delegated power.
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick ( Luke 9:1, 2).
For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants ( Mark 13:34).
In my name shall they cast out devils ( Mark 16:17).
What power and authority do these four verses say that Christ gave us? He gave us "All power and authority" over the enemy. Christ has given us His power and authority over Satan and his kingdom. However, it only works if we believe in faith and command in faith through Christ. When we come against Satan in faith, in the name of Jesus, Satan must obey. If you do not believe, if you have little faith, Satan knows, and will not listen to you. While Satan may not obey us, he must obey the authority of Jesus that we have been given and that we are operating in.
And who are we that Christ should give us such authority? you are a son (daughter); and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir ( Gal 4:7).
Comment: it is the authority Christ imparted to us, that we use to subdue enemies and cast their invisible selves into dry places of outer darkness. Never to return! Ephesians 6.
At 87 my eyesight is not as good as it used to be.
What did Jesus mean by: let THE DEAD bury their dead"? Did he mean the Spiritually-dead,
(the unsaved)???
thank you much.
