The Prayer of an Aged Man
By: Robert A. Searles
"In thee,O Lord do I put my trust: Let me never be put to confusion.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape; incline thine ear unto me, and save me
Be thou my strong habitation; where unto I may continually resort:
thou hast given commandment to save me: for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man . For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth
By thee have I been holden up from the womb; thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge
Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day.Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together.
O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help. My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I know not the number thereof.
I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness even of thine only. Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God forsake me not until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation; and thy power to every one that is to come.
Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee! Thou which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the
earth." Psalm 71

While writing this I heard a large bang at my livingroom vindow, I went to see what it was. I bird had flown into my window and lied either deas or unconsious on my veranda. Hm, is this strange?
I will be very grateful for your answer.
Kind regards

Sometimes a little humor is good.
Today I pulled up behind a car at a red light, and had a good laugh. Its bumper sticker read, "Do you follow JESUS this closely?"

Pressing Forward
By: Robert A. Searles
This is the first day of the rest of our lives. Having come before our Lord this morning in prayer, and according to his faithfulness to cleanse and forgive; having received forgiveness and cleansing; let us begin at the place where we are at this moment, forgetting those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are before us.
We can do nothing about what has passed except to ask God to forgive us for our sins and short coming, but by God's grace and enabling power, we can if we will, take that which we have now and "Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3: 14.
What is the prize of the high calling of God? The prize of the high calling of God is: "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." Philippians 3 10.
The prize of the high calling of God is our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself." Philippians 3:-21.

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the Beast (unto the Beast of sea who was established by the dragon in Rome), and they worshipped the Beast (of sea), saying, Who is like unto the Beast? who is able to make war with him? ----> Michael is.
5 And there was given unto him(unto the Beast of sea that the dragon established it in Rome) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;
and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (the court will be given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months- Revelation 11:2- . JESUS warned: Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled- Luke 21:24)- Get ready
6 And he -the Beast of Rome - opened(will open) his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (the dragon will give to the Beast of Rome his power, and his seat-in JERUSALEM-, and great authority- Revelation 13:2.
Revelation 12:9-12
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth(Israel-the clay, the dry land) and of the sea!(the Gentile nations) for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Pray For Revival!
By: Robert A. Searles
"Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen."
My Father, I pray that you will rekindle and ignite the fire of revival in my heart. I pray that you will cleanse me from all my iniquity. Create in me O God, a clean heart and a pure mind, and renew a right spirit within me. I pray that you will create a new hunger and thirst for your word, and that I will desire more of your fellowship. I pray that I will have a greater love and concern for all the brethren and children of God. Restore to me, O Lord the joys of my salvation, and grant me a greater zeal for soul winning. Let me be all that you have meant for me to be and let me approve all things which are excellent which will bring honor and glory to your name. Teach me, O Lord to pray continually and without ceasing. Teach me to walk constantly with the blessed Holy Spirit, and open a door of utterance for me that I might make manifest your word as I ought to speak. Help me to walk in wisdom toward those that are without, redeeming the time. Let my speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that I may know how I might answer every man.
This must be the sincere prayer of all of us if we are to preserve our homes and our country. My friend, will this be your prayer?

Psalm 26: 7
.....................................................................................................................................
Resharing.
Matthew 27:46
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken Me?
Psalms 22:1
(To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.) My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
John 19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and he bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.
Psalms 22:31
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."
Gospel of prosperity? No thanks, I will not have any.
There was a question posted few weeks, regarding The Gift of The Holy Spirit.
Part 1
-I believe Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God and He died on the Cross for my sins, and He was buried and rose on the third Day and He is sited at the right hand of the father, and He is our high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
-Brethren bear this in mind that God is the same and He does not change.
As it is written Malachi 3:6, kjv
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
-As God spoke by the prophets in time past in these days, these last hours ( John 1:18) He speaks to us by His beloved son in whom we have been qualified to be saints in the inheritance in the light by His blood at the cross By repentance. ( Colossians 1:12-14,KJV)
-And if you have repented at the cross and received salvation which is by grace and faith alone none of any of our works then we receive gifts according to His will which He gives for the edifying of the ministry (body of Christ For He is the Head of the Church Colossians 1:18, KJV.)
As it written in Ephesians 4:7-8, KJV
7.But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
-And in time past ( Hebrews 1:1, KJV) They the prophets healed the sick, raised the dead and provided provisions and all according to the will of God and not mans will.
-Therefore, we serve the same Living God who has been in the beginning and Does not Change and Was manifest unto us as a child, but He was there from the begging as a Son given unto us as a Son Mighty God, everlasting Father. (Isiah 6:9 KJV)
As it is written in 1 timothy 3:16, KJV.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Part 2 next.
I wonder if any of the gospel critics have given this incident any serious consideration?
( Mt 26:64) .. "Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven".
Jesus said He will be ((coming in the clouds)) in context!
( Rev 1:7) "Behold, he ((cometh with clouds)); and every eye shall see him"...
He cometh with clouds in context!
( 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) v15 "the coming of the Lord".
v16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout"...
v17 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them ((in the clouds)), to meet the Lord in the air"...
We meet the Lord in the clouds in context!
( Mt 24:29-31) v29 "Immediately after the tribulation"...
v30 ".."and they shall see the Son of man ((coming in the clouds)) of heaven with power and great glory".
v31 "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds"...
The Lord ((coming in the clouds)) in context, Is Immediately after the tribulation!
The return of Jesus riding a white horse in ( Rev 19:11-16) says nothing about coming in the clouds. But v11 does say "he doth judge and make war". So this return is coming (to the earth) not in the clouds. v15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should (smite the nations): and he shall (rule them with a rod of iron): and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God". This is not the return in the clouds in context.
This should be clear to all who seek the Truth, the return on the white horse ( Rev 19:11-16) and the return ((in the clouds)) in ( Mt 24:29-31) are not even close to being the same event!
Is says earth, most cases referring to the ground we walk on. Did God divide the earth as in the continents or placed them in land already separated (continents) as they are today? Like the world, 5 Hebrew translations, 3 Greek. Earth though all refer to the ground, dirt, soil in all three translations.
1 Chronicles 1:19 - And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.
Genesis 10:25
"And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan."
Genesis 10:32 - These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
Genesis 11:16-19 - And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
Deuteronomy 32:8 - When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
Luke 3:35-36 - Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,
Acts 17:26 - And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
( 2 Tim 3:16) "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". ALL ((TRUE)) scripture is given by Inspiration of God. Inspiration is #2315; it means divinely breathed in. All True scripture is God breathed.
The KJB says in ( Jn 7:8) "Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up ((yet)) unto this feast; for my time is not full come".
In the KJB Jesus said "I go not up yet"
The Nasb bible says "I am not going up to this feast".
The Niv bible says "I am not going up to this festival".
The Nlt bible says "I'm not going to this festival".
The Esv bible says "I am not going up to this feast".
The Gnt bible says "I am not going to this festival".
In all these versions in v10 Jesus goes to the feast.
All modern version bibles say the same thing, Jesus said "I am not going" Then In v10 Jesus went to the feast!
All modern version bibles have (changed the words) and are saying Jesus lied!! ( Jer 23:36) The word (perverted) is #2015; it means to turn about or over, by implying (to change), pervert. They change or pervert the words of the living God and they show Jesus to be a liar!
Would that be God breathed?
Or would that be ( 1 Tim 4:1) .."doctrines of devils"?
( 2 Tim 3:16) Would saying Jesus is a liar be "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"?
( Mt 4:4) .. "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by (every word) that proceedeth out of the mouth of God".
EVERY WORD! (KJB Jn 7:8) "I go not up (yet)" EVERY WORD!
The words of the LORD are pure words ( Ps 12:6-7) v7 preserved for ever.
( Proverbs 30:5-6) v5 "(Every word) of God is pure" v6 "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar".
The KJB is the scripture that's given by Inspiration of God, the pure words preserved from this generation for ever.
"Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife."
1 Cor 7:35,
"And this(about staying unmarried) I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction."
Well, when I was young and unmarried and I firstly read those verses, I used to think that people like Paul who devote themselves to the Lord completely tend sometimes to go to extremes. After spending 22 years as a married man and going through all those hardships and trials (and fights!!!) that married couples go through when they spend their lives together and also when facing all those troubles in raising a kid (I have one, just think of those who have many), then I conclude that Paul might have been right.
Have a blessed day or night.
"10And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart ( the grk say "separate") from her husband: 11But and if she depart , let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife."
Firstly lets pay attention to that " I command, yet not I, but the Lord", clearly a Lord's command.
What does the above verse say? It says that if a woman(or man) separates the other then she SHOULD stay unmarried (or go back). So I am really surprised that some christians are always trying to go around such a clear statement. It couldn't be any clearer than that.
1 Cor 7:12-15,
"12But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away
.....
13And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
15But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace."
Points of attention:
1. It is Paul's suggestion, not Lord's. Yes but in verse 40 he says "yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful"
1. Paul's suggestion is that the believer should not separate the other if the other is willing to stay together. If the other wants to separate, let them separate. Those verses in no case allow a believer to separate a non believer. But once the non believer wants to separate let them separate. So can the believer remmary? Here the verses 10-11 are valid. No, they cannot, the verse says " let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband".
2. Now lets go to that "A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases" in verse 15. The grk says precisely : "ou dedoulotai o adelphos en tois toioutois" which means "the brother is not enslaved inside (or in) these". The latter has many interpretations which I will not go through now.
what does Charity mean in this context because if one bestow his or her goods to feed the poor, its considered as charity
Rev.5:10-And has made us unto our GOD kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth.
How can the meek inherit the earth?
Zechariah 4:1-6
1-And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a MAN that is wakened out of his sleep.
2-And said unto me,What seest thou?I have looked,and behold
(1)a candlestick all of gold
(2)with a bowl upon the top of it, and
(3)his seven lamps thereon, and
(4)seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3-And two olive trees by it,one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
Interpreting the above Scriptures:
1-Candlestick is the Church(Rev.1:19)of the LORD-His body;
2-with a bowl upon the top of it:-the bowl is for storing and conserving the oil produced by the two olive trees to the Candlestick-that is for the anointed Church of the LORD;
3-and his seven lamps thereon:the seven lamps are the seven Spirits of GOD-Rev.4:5;
4-and seven pipes to the seven lamps which are upon the top thereof(the 7 lamps are 7 spirits of GOD-they are placed on the top of the pipes to enlighten the Church of the LORD,mainly in this time of Apocalypse-END of the times, and establishment of GOD's Kingdom: but NOT by might, nor by power(not by human power),but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts,as is written in Mat.5:5 combined with Rev.5:10)
4-So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying,What are these,my lord?
5-Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me,Knowest thou not what these be?And I said,No,my lord.
6-Then he answered and spake unto me,saying,This is the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying,Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Revelation 11:15-18
15And the seventh angel sounded;and there were great voices in heaven, saying,The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;and he shall reign for ever and ever.
"Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen (relatives), and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me."
So Paul had relatives who were in Christ before him. I believe that they were certainly praying for him. I believe that God answered their prayers and saved Paul.
In Galatians 1:15-16 Paul writes, "15 But when it pleased God, who separated me(Paul) from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen..."
Here Paul claims that God had chosen him from his mother's womb to send him to preach about Christ.
SO which one is true? Was Paul saved because some people were praying for him OR because that was God's plan before Paul was born?
The answer is, both.
Lets examine it. It was Jesus who appeared to Paul on his way to Damascus. Later God called him to go and preach to the gentiles together with Barnabas, and led them to all the places He intented them to go ( Acts 13:2-4).
So one expects that God gave them His grace to complete their ministry, doesn't he?
But lets read Ephessians 6:19, "And (pray) for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel," Somewhere else Paul asks for prayers for him to be freed from his enemies.
So the question is. Why is Paul asking his fellow christians to pray for him to be given words of preaching? Wasn't God who sent him to preach? Wasn't God going to give him words to do what He asked him for?
Yes it was God who sent him BUT God is expecting us to cooperate with Him. God will not do anything unless we cooperate with Him. He asks for our cooperation, whatever that is, prayers, testimonies, preachings, helping others, ...
Lets not expect for God to do all things on His own while we are laying lazely on our couches. HE WILL NOT. He demands our cooperation, the offering of ourselves for His purposes. And prayers are very significant. So... lets go.
A question for you: Why do think God took my brother at age 10, which caused my mother and me to live a life full of sorrow, suffering, and grief; without any real healing? My mother was a devout Christian, and from what I was told, my brother was
a very loving and sweet child. As I mentioned to you before (I think), I was 3 years old, and I'm left with very few memories of him. Sadly, the one that is predominant is witnessing his death and my mother's frantic but futile attempt to revive him. I still cry over her pain.
I realize this is probably a difficult question to answer.
One more question, not directly related to the above: Should a Christian feel responsible and guilty and remain in that mode, for the crucifxion of Jesus? How SHOULD I feel?
Please, please be assured, I am not being contentious with these questions. If anyone else wants to chime in, I welcome that.
Peace be with you
VII. True it is, They that are born of the flesh, hate and persecute them that are born of the spirit, who are the circumcision in heart. It seems they cannot own nor worship God after her inventions, methods, and prescriptions, nor receive for doctrine her vain traditions, any more than they can comply with her corrupt fashions and customs in their conversation. The case being thus, from an apostate she becomes a persecutor. It is not enough that she herself declines from ancient purity, others must do so too. She will give them no rest that will not partake with her in that degeneracy, or receive her mark. Are any wiser than she, than mother church? No, no: nor can any make war with the beast she rides upon, those worldly powers that protect her, and vow their maintenance against the cries of her dissenters. Apostasy and superstition are ever proud and impatient of dissent: all must conform or perish. Therefore the slain witnesses, and blood of the souls under the altar, Rev6:9 are found within the walls of this mystical Babylon, this great city of false Christians, and are charged upon her, by the Holy Ghost in the Revelation. Nor is it strange that she should slay the servants who first crucified the Lord: but strange and barbarous too, that she should kill her husband and murder her Saviour; titles she seems so fond of, and that have been so profitable to her; and that she would recommend herself by, though without all justice. But her children are reduced so entirely under the dominion of darkness, by means of their continued disobedience to the manifestation of the divine light in their souls, that they forget what man once was, or they should now be; and know not true and pure Christianity when they meet it; yet pride themselves upon professing it. Their measures are so carnal and false about salvation, they call good evil, and evil good; they make a devil a Christian, and a saint a devil.

with the whole powers of soul and sense. What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we wear? And how shall we pass away our time? Which[3] way may we gather wealth, increase our power, enlarge our territories, and dignify and perpetuate our names and families in the earth? Which base sensuality is most pathetically expressed and comprised by the beloved Apostle John, in these words: "The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life," which, says he, "are not of the Father, but of the world, that lieth in wickedness." (1 John, ii. 16.)
III. It is a mournful reflection, but a truth no confidence can be great enough to deny, that these worldly lusts fill up the study, care, and conversation of wretched Christendom! and, which aggravates the misery, they have grown with time. For as the world is older, it is worse; and the examples of former lewd ages, and their miserable conclusions, have not deterred, but excited ours; so that the people of this seem improvers of the old stock of impiety, and have carried it so much further than example, that instead of advancing in virtue upon better times, they are scandalously fallen below the life of heathens. Their high-mindedness, lasciviousness, uncleanness, drunkenness, swearing, lying, envy, backbiting, cruelty, treachery, covetousness, injustice, and oppression, are so common, and committed with such invention and excess, that they have stumbled and embittered infidels to a degree of scorning that holy religion, to which their good example should have won their affections.
to be continue.....
The KJB says in ( Col 1:14) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins".
The KJB says we have redemption ((THROUGH HIS BLOOD)) Wouldn't that be a TRUE statement?
The Nasb says "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". The Nasb removes the words (through his blood).
The Niv says "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". The Niv removes the words (through his blood).
The Esv says "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins". The Esv removes the words (through his blood).
The Nlt says "who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins". The Nlt removes the words (through his blood).
The Gnt says "by whom we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven". The Gnt removes the words (through his blood).
Should I go on? I really could!
Who would put their trust in a bible that removes the blood of Jesus Christ from this verse?
This is the 3rd post that is without a doubt Biblical proof that modern version bibles are corrupt, and not Inspired by God!
The KJB has again proven itself to be the Inspired Word of God!
( Luke 22:20) Jesus says "Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you".
The word (blood) is #129; it means (the atoning blood of Christ) by implying bloodshed.
Would someone with good intentions remove those words in all those modern version bibles?
Or do you think those bibles are what we are warned about in ( Jer 23:36) and ( 2 Tim 4:3-4)? And maybe even ( 1 Tim 4:1)?
Anybody want to answer those questions?
Truth matters!
