What is the Covenant about? How to understand it? Praise the Lord!

I've been told that there are books of the Bible that aren't actually in the Bible and I just would like to know exactly why. Like, I get that there's the whole 'works' and 'Christ' deal. But why aren't all of the books put into one big book anyways? I would really appreciate it if someone could answer this. If so, could you give references as to how I could obtain these other books? Please and thank you.

in Genesis 1:7 can you explain what is meant by the firmament and what or rather where did the water come from? I am having difficulty understanding where the firmament is and why did the waters have to be divided?

Why does this KJV call Noah "Noe" in verses 24:37 and 24:38. Can it be that 2 Timothy 3:16 is correct on correcting the scriptures of inspiration. My NKJV says his name is Noah, we all know the prophet Noah. What's up with Noe?

If God said that man will only live up to 120 years, why did Noah die at age 950?

I see a lot of people twist the verse, and say we are on the same level of God? We are on the same level and can do the same things as He? Were is that part of verse? Dear brother and sister it is a ability we dont have. Only God can call things into existence. If we say its ability we have we take scripture out of context. I have been studying on the subject of fasting. It is something I have never personally participated in nor fully comprehend. In reading Matthew 13:1-23 I have learned God wants to clear out the "rocks and weeds" in my life breaking up the hard soil. So my question is how? What must I do to take this next step in my spiritual walk? Is it structured or done during a certain month? I would appreciate any feedback, guidance, or further reading to be considered before moving forward.

Does God love us more than those who came before us? What is your opinion regarding the term "legion" as specified in this chapter. I have looked up the term and it states that a legion at the time was 5 to 6 thousand. I read here that 2 thousand swine perished in the sea. I have noticed this as many times as I have read this chapter that I firmly after reading it again, this poor man had at least 2000 demons in him. While that may seem impossible to some, why would so many have perished in the sea if the demons had not taken them there? It's not important in the over all scheme of things but I do find it an interesting discussion. thanks for your imput.
