Isaiah 59:1-3 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

James 4:7-10 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Isaiah 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Are we not seeing the beginning of sorrows? A sickness, even the death, now the surrounding of the house of stone! The freedom surrounded by a fence even unto Moab? What will be next? Will there be repentance, while we watch the Pope kneel before the prince of darkness! Or perhaps the same sickness will come forth in our seeds that give the nourishment of the corn and even the wine? Yes these are the beginning of sorrows! Turn and repent unto the God, oh Moab! So thou might be saved. Your redeemer lives! Their is salvation in none other!

    Seedtime and Harvest

    Charles E. Orr

    1861-?

For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not- Gal 6:9

As pilgrims and strangers we journey through life, Thro' sunshine and shadow thro' calm and strife, Each day we are scattering seed as we go; Someday 'twill be harvest- " we reap what we sow."

Tho' weary and warn and alone in your way, And storm clouds are gathering and dark is your day, Weep not, toiling one, neither faint as you go; The harvest is nearing- "we reap what we sow."

Tho' life may appear as a cold, barren waste, And comes no return of the bread you have cast, Continue to do loving deeds as you go; The harvest is nearing- "we reap what we sow."

We'll reap what we sow when the harvest is come, Someday we shall garner the deeds we have done, Then heed not the storm nor the cold winds that blow, Toil on till the harvest- "we reap what we sow."

    From Every Stormy Wind

    Hugh Stowell

    1799-1865

From every stormy wind that blows, From every swelling tide of woes, There is a calm , a sure retreat; Tis found beneath the mercy seat.

There is a place where Jesus sheds The oil of gladness on our heads, A place than all besides more sweet; It is the blood bought mercy seat.

There is a scene where spirits blend, Where friend holds fellowship with friend Tho' sundered far, by faith they meet A- round one common mercy seat.

Ah! whither could we flee for aid, When tempted, desolate, dismayed Or how the host of hell defeat, Had suffering had no mercy seat?

There, there on eagle wings we soar, And sin and sense molest no more; And heaven comes down our souls to greet, While glory crowns the mercy seat.

Rev Young said a prayer that overwhelmed me. He said on the Winning Walk TV show. I think it was March 1st broadcast, or perhaps February 22nd broadcast. I was truly inspired by this prayer and would like to have a copy so I can pray it.

Can you help me find it?

I'm confused. I thought Israelites were doing evil and God left them for their enemies. Now we have Israelites gathered to do good against Benjamin over unnamed Levite's lies about his concubine cut into pieces? The Bible is like a Quentin Tarantino film lol.

What will happen to those that lived and died before Christ's sacrifice? What will they do when they stand before God? How will they be saved, or will they? I'm sorry if I'm asking irrelevant questions, but I really would like to know the answer if anyone has one.

verse 13 says that he won't allow us to be tempted by anything we can't defeat and that he will show us a way out, ok that is for believers only ? 2, When God forgives me, am i still forgiven if I can't forgive myself sounds wrong but i come across lots of people who can't forgive themselves sometimes for a sin that has broken up families or causing shame or something just as destructive, who need to know they are still forgiven by God if they repented. Am i right in this.

Simple things like not spelling Jesus with an I when you are not supposed to because you do away with the spiritual reference and or physical reference ultimately taking away the secret he wants to share with those who are seeking.and enough with correcting the so called mistakes most are" eye dialect" or "homophones" ex: vp ...eye dialect teaches you how to read and helps bring letters and their sound into use.....poyson &poison are homophones .do the etymology on poy and son .it's. not a liquid.this work of art is not archaic it just bothered knowah webster.ei:preface to his 1833 bible.

I really want to know about baptism. Some church believe in three immersion "in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit" repeating all the three Person of the Trinity each time you are immersed in the water three times.

Others baptized only in the name of Jesus Christ ignoring the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Others also in the Trinity in one immersion.

So I want which is right and if all are right I will want to know. Thank you.

I've been hearing about a massive super hadron collider in the EU built underground that is 7 miles in diameter. It was designed to try to open another "parallel dimension" by slamming protons together at a very high rate of speed to 'create a big bang environment with a goal of sending something from ours into this other dimension, but also possibly bringing something from the other dimension into ours. It is called CERN. They have their "GOD" Shiva statue in the entryway and they also worship abbadon/appolyon. I feel like they are 'possibly' trying to open the "pit" (or they are the 'vehicle') to open the bottomless pit. Has anyone done any research into this? VERY strange to me.....
  • Alec Ford on 2 Corinthians 7 - 4 years ago
Godly sorrow leads to repentance it says, so you will not commit that sin again because you know it is wrong OK , but what if you are tempted to commit it again does that mean you did not repent of it? Or what if you did not hate it even though you knew it to be sinful and still did not repeat the sin, did you still repent of it..

Hi everyone ,im wondering if other Christians have similar feelings to me ,most of my friends and family are atheists ,they know im not ,ive tried over the years to bring God into conversation but no one is interested ,the problem i have is that i care very much about these people and my greatest wish is for them to know what i know but they dont want it and as time goes on some of them are getting quite old and actually dying, this gets me down a bit ,i want them all to live as long as possible so that they are still alive when Christ returns and hopefully they will very quickly realise whos has been loving them and who will continue to love them and they will follow Him ,anyone have similar thoughts ? feelings ? When some one i love dies without knowing Christ its much more painfull than when a commited Christian dies ,i thhink so any way .

I apologize for the misprint of my question.

This is how it should read: What is the turning point of man's relationship with God?

No opinions please. Biblical facts only. Specifically Chapter and Verse.

    Thank you!

  • Foinn Mac Cumhaill on Bel and the Dragon 1 - 4 years ago
Is this the same story of the Daniel and the Lion den in the main text? These are great stories..so someone decided to take this out, but why? Are all the facts, clues, and evidence pointing to it being truth? Who is giving account of this story? Are there other possible interpretations? Would most Christians agree it is a good thing, assuming of course it passes all previous tests?
