My husband is very keen on being "the watchman on the wall" like in ?Ezekiel or is that ?Micah... anyhow he is so keen on preaching what he knows to those around us... especially our grown up children that he doesn't want to go to church anymore and would prefer to 'study" at home... ie... study the right wing websites for what horrible things the world leaders are doing now and then exposing these on his Facebook page for all to look at in horror and wring their hands.... I'm kinda tired of living in a "henny penny, the sky is falling" way. I trust that what is happening is still under God's direction and control despite the badness. How can I help my husband see that all is not lost and that God is supreme? I feel strongly he and his cronies are very puffed up and prideful... my husband has said to me that I am "ignorant". I'm not. I just chose to see the good not the continual bad. (all that is good, perfect and acceptable.... dwell on these things.). I'm in need of spiritual help here!

My question is, how come Adam lived to 930 years when God told him he will die the day he eat of the tree? Please don't say Adam died spiritually because we should know the spirit don't die.

I am confused - Romans 16:7 says "Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners"

However, I thought Paul was at Corinth and then travelling to Jerusalem at the time this epistle was written - not yet a prisoner in Rome.

Maybe the explanation is "fellowprisoners" in Jesus Christ.

    Will someone please clarify? TIA.

  • Paul McDaris on Matthew 24 - 4 years ago
Two things. I'm a old man and young Christian with learning disabilities. Do you all have something to help someone like me to use to study with not leaving the actual King James Version of the Bible. Also is there a way to print out the Commentary so I can triple space because on line it is hard for me to read? Other than that you're the greatest study of the real Bible I've seen. God bless you and Keep you. Love in Christ, Paul

First of all, thank you all for your awesome site! I absolutely love it! Its taken me about 40 years to get to a point of having some understanding of God's word. It never ceases to amaze me.The Bible is a way more effective tool when we use it to verify situations, occurrences, and then refer back to the word with comparative principal. What this vlearly represents is a form of slavery that seems to have been around since the fall of man/angels in the "garden".

From angels fallen to mankind, and mankind falling to a beast commonly known to is todsy as "hu-man". Sons of God, to sons of man...and then sons of perdition. With our birth certificate created at our birth, they created a "CORPORATE FICTION"...An "Ens Legis. It is in all caps and has the capacity and status of a dead body...It is a corpus. The State captures the soles/souls on a document brfore our babies feet touch the ground and claim jurisdiction over them/us. If Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, then where was this battle in Heaven where Lucifer and his angels warred against Michael and Gods angels actually taking place? When God created Man in the Creation account in the beginning..It was an equal creation...Male and Female He created He them. But this garden story where you know who happened to be a third party and led the male and female to sin and to "fall" through what I have come to clearly understand through Gods Loving Mercy and Grace, is that the forbidden fruit was Sex.Out of wedlock. Which is the act of "reproduction" ,NOT "Procreation" which in turn made them something God did not intend on them being. The first/original estate is mentioned in the book of Enoch. It speaks of how the angels that fell turned away from what God wanted for them/us ,so they became manifestations of themselves and not Gods intended way. Once I was at the end of my rope, and surrendered ,then came understanding. I could go on and on. ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO THE FATHER! God bless you all!

    I was reading 2 Corinthians 3: 13-14

And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

I do not understand what this means. Could someone educate me please and thank you?

I have read the original 1611 King James Version Preface and there is a section in it down towards the bottom where the translators are referencing Saint Augustine "Therefore as St. Augustine saith, that variety of translations is profitable for the finding out of the sense of the Scriptures."

I am writing about the Parallel Bible option on this website www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/john-3-parallel-kjv-nasb/

I am wanting to know if you consider the certain Bibles you have as choices on your parallel Bible option comparing them to the King James Version to be good translations? I am not against that option of comparing Bibles but I'm just curious why those Bibles are listed as a choice on your website. I know some of those Bible choices are in the public domain.

Hi everyone ,i havent been posting on here for long but ive been reading the comments on here for quite a while now ,i have asked some questions that no one has tried to answer ,im not sure why not ,do some people think that im deliberately asking contentious questions in order to be a pain ? Are some people nervous to answer because they worry their answer is wrong or that they will offend me ? I ask questions because i like my brain to be provoked , im genuinely interested in what people think and believe ,not just one person ,i would like lots of different anwers from different people ,i may not agree with your answer but it may provoke my brain into thinking differently or looking something up that i hadnt thought of before ,this helps me to learn ! I want to be provoked into working harder and reading my Bible and seeing things that i hadnt noticed before ,as long as we are always polite to each other its not a problem to dissagree if when we dissagree we help each other to grow in understanding and patience with each other .
