I just finished Ephesians, reading about the armor of God. The sword is the word of God. Here is where I get a little upset. I have read the Bible a few times, I am in my 60's with not a great memory. Some things stay with me but I forget so much. What if God needs me to fight but I can't remember verses. Now if you mention something in the Bible I can tell you all about it. I have prayed so hard on this. Any thoughts?

I am struggling to comprehend the context of the word 'defile' in Leviticus 21:1-3. I do not understand how a person can 'defile' their mother, father, brother, virgin sister which had no husband, son , or daughter. What does the scripture mean by allowing next of kin being able to defile the deceased relative? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Has anyone ever noticed,,, that not one time under the old or new covenant did anyone ever preach the Doctrine of the trinity ...! And what is the Name of the Father, or the HolyGhost, we know the name of the Son,,, his name is Jesus / we know that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost , then how dose that make him the ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER...HMMMMM. IS IT possible that there is only two in the Godhead and that the Holy Ghost is the spirit of the Father.? All through the scripture God the Father and his son Jesus are the only two that are consistently glorified Never the Holy Ghost in the same context. I think i need to reconsider and find the truth ...

Are we to be washed in the word (new testament) since Jesus died for our sins and we are saved by our faith and Gods' works, not by the works of water baptism? I have been told we no longer need to be water baptized, only faith and doing ministry.
  • S Spencer on Revelation 2 - 4 years ago
Here is God in us all,

    Ephesians 4:4-6 . There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One GOD AND FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS ABOVE ALL, AND THROUGH ALL, AND IN YOU ALL.,

"Now here is the Holyspirit and Christ in you and the Holyspirit is called the spirit of Christ"

Romans 8:9-10. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the

(((Spirit of God dwell in you)))

(((Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)))

    "Here is Christ in us"

(((And if Christ be in you))) the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

    "Again God in you"

1 Corinthians 3:16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

There is Lord and one Spirit, God is a spirit. What kind of spirit is God? "Holy"!!

Jesus was in the bosom of the Father and manifested in the flesh, How do a spirit have a bosom as we know a bosom? Revelation 1:8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, (((the Almighty)))

Here is that in the Greek Greek:

    Transliteration: pantokratr

    Pronunciation: pan-tok-rat'-ore

Definition: From G3956 and G2904; the all ruling that is God (as absolute and universal sovereign): - Almighty Omnipotent.

    KJV Usage: Almighty(9x), omnipotent(1x).

If i am reading Hebrews 10 vs 2 and Philippians 4 vs 7 correctly, why do I feel so guilty for past sins? Yes I have backslidden and have come back to the Lord. when i first came and was saved I knew I was forgiven without a doubt and never dwelt on past sins, but this time i do. Now I know I am saved no doubt but to often the peace of God escapes replaced by guilt and shame of ever leaving in the first place.
