Does anyone have an honest-to-goodness study (with Scripture backup) to compare and debate the views of Wesleyan Methodist (holiness) doctrines in comparison to that of other fundamental beliefs?

I've got an open mind, but I want to see how the Word answers this difference.

Which Jesus? A Jesus that authorized corporate sin of Sunday sacredness? If sin is transgression of the Law and we love Jesus we are supposed to stop sinning through the power of Christ's spirit in faith.. Unbelief has made his bloodshed for naught because we refuse to obey him.. The 4th commandment contains the identity of the law giver making the law valid to stand in the heavenly court.. The mark of the beast crisis will ensnare weak Christians not fortified with the wall of zion..gods very character of LOVE.( the 10 commandments also known as THE COMMANDMENT).. When international Sunday law gets enacted to stem global warming people will be left with 2 choices.. Obey God or obey the commandments of men..( the wine of babylon) a mixture of truth and error..if we follow Christ it shows in our love one for another .. Romans 13:10

    Parallel Verses

    King James Version

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

In the days of Moses or Biblical days were there 12 months in a year? How many days in a month were there in Biblical days? We celebrate Christ's birth in December of our calendar year but what would be the correct month according to the Biblical calendar year?

Everything was orchestrated by GOD - including the spies ending up in Rahab's home.

GOD is not predictable. If you were to guess who HE will preserve in the whole of Jericho, would you even remember Rahab?

And, if the family of Rahab had been told that it is the one that has been marked as the black sheep of the family that GOD will use to save them, wouldn't they have laughed the messenger to scorn?

GOD is not predictable. So, learn not to judge anything and anyone before their time.

Why did God give us a choice to accept or reject in Rev.22:17, esp since He is sovereign?

Is it because of his righteousness or because it is free?

Don't you just love the hymn, "Praise the Father, Praise the Son, Praise the Spirit every one; Praise the King of Glory, Praise Him for eternity"?

(Based on Psalm 24:8; Psalm 24:10)

Psalm 24:8-10 8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. (KJV)

    2 Peter 3:8

    New King James Version

I love the hymn, "Behold the Dying Savior"

    Hebrews 2:9; Luke 23:33

Ah, poor sinner, think of Calv'ry,

    Of the One who suffered there;

Do you know He died in mercy,

All your load of guilt to bear?

    Jesus-oh, that name so precious!-

    "Tasted death for every man,"

And His blood will purge thy conscience

    From the deepest crimson stain.

In The Old Testament we often see God killing babies and children, and much more besides.

    How can this be?

I know the New Testament puts a different a slant on truth and majors on love, but how does one come to terms with numerous instances of 'God telling others to slaughter....

I have noticed Bible teachers avoid these difficult O.T. passages and cannot give a straight answer.

    Best wishes, Cliff Kent

What was the cause of Adam and Eve sin in the garden of Eden?
  • D W L on Revelation 21 - 4 years ago
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (verse 7 Jesus said)- Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be born again.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.(Not because he is a Jew)

Galations 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

FAITH IS NOT WHO YOU ARE BLACK, WHITE, NATIONALITY HAS NO EFFECT ON BEING A HEIR WITH CHRIST BUT BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED BY/THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

What is mentioned about the law and gospel? How do they differ from each other, while at the same time complementing each other? Like you say Paul teaches concerning the things of the church, Peter describes the Christ to the Judaizer. What then is the overall message we need to hear and understand?

    Acts 9:4b

    OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

The response of Jesus Christ to Paul on his way to Damascus shows clearly our oneness with Him. Oneness with Him is the result of LOVE of GOD. You can't separate a believer with Christ (LOVE), ROMANS 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? WE ARE IDENTIFY WITH HIM IN ALL THINGS, Matthew 25:42For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' 44And they too will reply, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? our need is His need, our pain is HIS pain... absolute identity!
