Answer: Although the Bible does not give the timeline of events during earlier chapters of Genesis it can be assumed that there were several years, perhaps even a hundred in which other births of Adam and Eve's who have grown up and knowing ALL of their siblings, it quite reasonable to see that Cain [may have] been concerned for their retaliating on behalf of Abel. Someone once mentioned to me that Jesus was not born into sin. But since Mary and Joseph were born into the world, they were born into sin, even if they never committed sinned. Doesn't that still mean that both Mary and Joseph were of a sinful nature? And wouldn't that mean that Jesus being born into the world, would be born into sin or born to have a sinful nature even though He is God?

I don't understand this, it must be abstract. There are new things made by man every day, it must mean that there are no new earth elements being made or no new things like wind, fire, water etc being made?

I have been taught ot for forgive, but never forget. As forgetting allows us to be hurt by the same things over and over. What is the true meaning of forgive and forget and is there such a thing?

If you forget wrongs done do you, but forgive, how do you know to protectyourself from the wrongs if you have forgotten?

John 10:29 in the KJB refers to..."my Father who gave them me..." yet, in the NIV it says..."my Father who gave them to me..."

Which is the correct translation...gave them me...or, gave them to me?

How does one get a clear conscience, I have repented and turned away from my past way of living study Gods word daily and try whenever I get the chance to talk to others about Jesus I know i cannot earn or work my way to heaven, but i do volunteer work to help others and when I have to make decisions I make them based on what I have read in the bible I was a backsliden christian who fell far from the Lord probably farther than most "drugs/alcohol and all that goes with it,am i looking at it the wrong way? Is it like when a man goes to jail guilty as charged but someone else paid for it so the judge says i am free to go, now even though the judge let me go and am not charged, I am still guilty. Is that how I should look at my life that even though i am saved I have to carry this weight on my back until i get to heaven? I was looking at things like when I was first saved when the guilt of past sins came upon me I knew i was forgiven and the weight of the past didn't have any effect on me, not so this time.
