Sleep -- dead no man can repent of their sin. Life is full of hard choices, be wise follow Jesus, stay in the word , let God led you and guide you
In context, the sweetest thing heard by BI was written previously by KingsleyJim.
The preparation of the soil for the seed was not gentle drops of kindness, but instead the turmoil of turning by the plow. In plain words, God only, prepares souls for the word/seed to flourish, not a plan by other people, saved or otherwise. The plowing is sometimes where the shallows are revealed, and also where nearby everpresent thorns take root. The over abundance of seed/word is evident and no "good ground" is missed. Despite the fowls, enough seed is fruitful, and thus harvested.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22&23 Salvation by good works is iniquity.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 To remember, we must first know God's name/character, and recognize his sovereignty in salvation, specifically ours, and also towards others. Believers serve God, only because he first saved us, not because we "deserve". But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Romans 5:20 The seed/word of God and grace, the inexhaustable expressions of God. Grace is never servient to a formula.
Obviously, there is power in the Name of Jesus. When I pray I generally end with, "...in Jesus Name, but I don't know why. I would appreciate comments from the community about this very important topic. Thank you.
So, have apostle Paul sinned by saying this, and is in danger of hellfire?
Do you believe Jesus is Gods Son come in the flesh ? Yes or no ?
Add to or subtract To Jesus and it's a no .
My problem is that I came across the Hebrews 10:26-31 and had thoughts that christ blood is unclean. So now I have thoughts that i regarded Christ's blood unclean and it will not be forgiven me. I am concerned what if I did that. I want Jesus in my life and don't want to be outside of God's grace. So i worry if I regarded such a thing. Do you have a advice, what do you think about it?
I have just woken up, and read Those precious inspirational verses and I thank God and His Beloved Son Jesus Christ. I am inspired by your diligence and commitment to the verse of the day. Let me begin with stating I am a welder by trade non the less I read God's word and study as best as I can.i pray for God's Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth.my question is this when the Heavens and the earth were created in 6 days God created the Heavens and the earth and on the 7 the day God rested from His work
..can you even try to imagine or fathom how God did creat the Heavens and the earth and specifically put aside one day ."The 7 th day Sabbath try to imagine the awesome event and the Adam and Eve were created and they were commanded to do the same to rest on the Sabbath day.now I cannot even try to explain the importance of the 7th day Sabbath .A simple analogy ,when a person is born can he change his birthdate to another day and if so why would he do so in the first place ? Fact is it can't be done and has never been done. So the same with creation .so why would God authorise the ,7th day to be substituted with the first day of the week as the IST day Sabbath the day of rest.there a verse in the Bible God says not one dot or tittle shall be changed in the Bible. Could you please give me your view point on the Sabbath. ,and may I ask further questions regarding the 7 the day Sabbath.

This is a wonderful
Passage in the NT that fully agrees with the Old Testament on who is the Lord God .
And Jesus is teaching it and the scribe verified Jesus teaching and Jesus said he was not far from the kingdom of God .
It's so important to understand who God is , if this knowledge is distorted then a person is going after another god .
Study closely these verses and ask your self Do I know the right God ?
There are many deceiving today , making claims that are not in the bible .
The context of this directive is that of the Disciples living in egalitarian service to one another, vss 1-5. The example for such is the mind which "was" in Christ Jesus.
It is not possible for any human being to replicate the mind of service and love which "was" in Christ. Jesus' level of understanding of Love, His perceptive abilities upon all needs of the Disciples, and His impeccable delivery of loving service were far beyond our understanding and ability to do.
If you, whoever you are, state rather it indeed doing such can be done, then describe to me how you in fact personally exhibit the Mind of Christ in service to fellow Believers. Do not waste my time and your position there with constructing some widely gathered perspective containing divergent comments, by which you then avoid answering the issue I just stated about your own actions to serve. Just speak the facts of what you do to serve as you supposedly have the Mind of Christ for service to fellow Believers.
Remember, no place in Scripture either instructs or even narrates how we should "do our best to try" to obey the righteous imperatives and commands of Scripture. Either we do or do not comply.
Have I clearly communicated here?

I have long believed, even before I married, that I as a Christian bachelor the Lord would bring me a woman to marry. I based this on
Genesis 2:22, "And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man."
And it happened almost this way. As a bachelor and single pastor of a small Bible church in southeast Wisconsin, I would take our youth group to a Friday night "Lighthouse" gathering to enjoy music, food, and fellowship with a mixed group of teens and young adults. I played the guitar upfront and my wife-to-be, Phyllis, played the piano. She was good; they called her "Piano Phyllis."
That's where we met and eventually married. I asked the highly respected matron of "The Lighthouse" (formerly, "The Stained Glass Window," both meeting in 2 different churches) if this prospective bride would make a good wife. She said "yes." And the rest is history. I now have a wonderful wife!
