I am suffering but didn't Jesus Christ, as precious Emmanuelle, suffer also? I am undergoing tribulations, but doesn't this mean those eyes of unquenchable fire are upon me? I die daily to my flesh while Jesus gave up the ghost upon the cross, Heavenly Father's only begotten literally died but then was resurrected! I will honor this love, I will respect this power and even offer up my undeserved life to that which is greater than any indeed.

  • Carolyn on Matthew 2 - 5 years ago
The most tragic figures in Matthew's 2nd chapter are the mothers of the children slain by Herod. They would not be comforted because their children were no more. As the mother of a lost child, I can envision their grief and horror since it is not clear they had any real clue as to why their babies were dead. I am struggling with the question this brings up: if fulfilling God's plan meant allowing my child to be slain, could I do it? Who among us could? Yes, God the Father could, and did, allow his Son's death. What could I sacrifice?

What is the meaning of Psalms verse by verses?
  • 1 searching on 1 John 5 - 5 years ago
Verse 16 says not to pray for a sin that leads to death, I heard 2 different pastors say that this is when a christian keeps habitually sins and so God takes him/her out of this world to save their soul, such as the husband and wife who knowingly held back money after they sold property. So if the punishment for this sin is going to heaven, why should anyone fear it? Also is this another way to show that you cannot lose salvation once you are saved? Now I talked with a 3rd pastor who disagrees with that, he says John was speaking to Gnostic's who were living immoral lives with excuse that all flesh was evil and it led to spiritual death because it was unrepentant and continual sin and no one gets to heaven living like that. So 2 different explanations.

  • Patty Tozi on 2 Corinthians 12 - 5 years ago
What is Faith? Faith is doing what you know is true in Jesus Christ our Savior. To go after the impossible and search out new ways to accomplish the impossible thru His Blood to your Holy Father who watches and hears all our impossible prayers in Faith to come true. Never getting our mind off what we want or need. Healing is always close if you never give up believing in God's Strength and words. Always forcing on the impossible of it happening and making it happen for others even though you your self are suffering in a Illness. KEEP GOD'S STRENGTH...FOCUS ON HIS WORD....Nothing is impossible for those who believe. And keep the Faith!!!..........AMEN.....Keep the FAITH!!!

    MYSTERY OF THE NEPHILIM REVEALED

    Gen.6:4

    Scriptural Facts:

    1. Heavenly or Fallen Angels can not procreate according to biblical scripture. ( Matt. 22:30; Mark 12:25; Luke 20:34)

    2. There is no evidence from the dead sea scrolls on gen.6:4 that the Nephilim were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of men.

    3. The Nephilim were present before and after the sons of God and daughters of man had intercourse.

    4. Sons of God could mean holy Angels or holy men according to scripture. ( Job 1:6; 2:1), ( Psalm 82:6, Hos. 1:10; John 10:34-38, Matt. 5:9; Luke 3:38; Rom. 8:14)

    ******************************************

Knowing these facts; we can rule out that the sons of God are angels in gen 6:4 because they procreate.

Therefore, they must be men that had God's favor(Seth's lineage). The daughters of man would be women without God's favor(Cain's lineage). Their offspring would be human.

    What are these Nephilim?

Well, they can't be the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of man according to the facts stated above; because the nephilim were present when the sons of God lusted the daughters of man. How could the Nephilim be present when the sons of God first had sex with the daughters on man? Wouldn't they need to be born first?

The interpretation from a root word naphil of Nephilim means fallen ones.

Look at the similarities of seraphim and cherubim. Now look at Nephilim.

Seraphim and Cherubim are Holy Angels.

Doesn't it make since that the Nephilim would be Fallen angels?

The men of renown is another way of referring to famous biblical characters like Adam, seth, Enoch, and Noah.

How did the spies from moses know what the Nephilim looked like or were?

Stories told from generation to generation about them being frightening.

When the spies saw giant men, they were frightened and thought they were the Nephilim.

The Nephilim most likely tempted the sons of God and daughters of man.

The Nephilim were fallen Angels not human. Goliath was a man.

In a recent Bible study, there was topic brought up that Eve was enticed by Satan to have sex with him and then brought Adam into the beguilement. The thought was that this was the original sin and this brought about the knowledge between good and evil. Is there any research or thoughts on this?

Am I understanding, after King Jehu killed the worshippers of Baal, he did not serve the Lord?

1 Thessalonians 4:17 And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air

My question is; I was taught that when we die, someone is coming to get us. The saved will be escorted to heaven and all others, worse. And so - if this is the case, why would the earth be opened and those dead in Christ rise and meet the living in the air? And I assume the living refers to the spirits of those saved during the Rapture. They, in the ground, already have died and their souls dealt with at that time of death. They would have received their glorified bodies at the time of judgement. I never understood this meeting in the air with those previously dealt with by heaven when they died. The purpose of it all eludes me. Their bodies would be dust and the spirits long gone to heaven and judgement.

    Simple question. Thats it. Thanks

Tell me why we don't go at the Bible the same way?? Dig, dig deeper, read commentaries ON HERE or read commentaries on Google.

The Holy Spirit is your TEACHER. Ask Him. If you'll sit still long enough and be quiet, you will get answers.

    PRAY for a TEACHABLE spirit.

Get a KJV Study Bible that has Center of Each page, reference columns: with the abc notes imbedded within the scriptures. Those send you to other scriptures that EXPAND the meanings or reveal a prophesy.

Back Arrow out of this room to the Search Box. Go to the top.

Put a scripture in it or just a word (like worms) hit the arrow. The search engine will pull up ALL verses with 'worms' in it.

Touch or click the verse and it will highlight yellow.

Scroll downward to the Commentary Box. Click that. It will show you what the scholars interpret that scripture to mean. If there isn't one, then exit and do the same thing on GOOGLE. Type the scripture and spell out Commentary, or

    History, or

    Teaching

Questions answered. It makes studying fun and interesting.

You cannot get lost. Use the back arrow or just exit this site and come back in Again.

There's a quickie link from KJV to Google to help you find a scripture you're unsure about. Like: "Many are called but few are chosen."

Learn to study! For yourselves. Share what you find, on here. IT IS FUN! God speaks to us through His Word.

When you sit down to study: pray: I HAVE THE SAME MIND OF CHRIST !! I receive it by faith right now. God watches over His Word To Perform it.

Give that fine mind of yours To The Holy Spirit, stand back, and see what He will show you. Habakkuk 2:2-4.

You will find your Identity in the Bible.

You gotta get plugged into the Holy Spirit. Depend on Him. Pursue Him. Be quiet and Listen To Him.
