I have a question. I always lean on the KJV to be an authoritative translation. Is this law referencing the "law" in God's heart instead of the actual law?

1 John 3:4 (KJV) 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1 John 3:4 (NKJV) 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

1Jn 3:4 The opposite of purifying oneself is found in verse four: "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness." The word commits is literally does (Gk., poieo). It is a matter of continual behavior, expressed by the present, continuous tense. It is possible to have sin even if there is no law. Sin was in the world between the time of Adam and Moses, but this was before God's law had been given. Thus it is not entirely accurate to say "that sin is a transgression of the law" (1611 KJV), but rather that sin is lawlessness. It is insubordination to God, wanting one's own way, and refusing to acknowledge the Lord as rightful Sovereign. In essence, it is placing one's own will above the will of God. It is opposition to a Living Person who has the right to be obeyed.

    Zechariah 7

    Verse 3 states:

"And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?"

Verse 4-6 state: 4 Then came the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying, 5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me? 6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

We are reminded here of parallel passages in Isaiah 58; verse 4 states "Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high."

Zechariah 7:9-10 goes on to say 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: 10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

Again in Isaiah 58:6-7 we see simiilar admonitions: 6Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

We can see here in the rest of this chapter in Zechariah the results which were the captivity; in the Isaiah passage the end of that chapter talks about blessings should they heed a correct fast in their worship. These are all things we should take into consideration if we find ourselves going through the motions of worship without putting our heart into it. Revelation 2:4 is a good warning for our example in this matter.

    Genealogy

What is the pedigree God desires when He said "Thou art my Son. This day have I begotten thee?" (Ps.2:7)

A clue to His will can be found in his creation account. "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth." Pedigree of a fruit tree yields after his kind." It is the law or decree that God established before he created man in 'our image.'

It is for this reason the Spirit writes about 'the generations of the heavens and of the earth' right after the creation account. (Ge.2:4) it is the pedigree of children of the light and of the darkness 'It concerns the genealogy of the Holy Family beginning with Seth. It was the divine Will Seth stepped into the breach made by Cain.

"And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth.(Ge.5:3)" After Seth he had sons and daughters which are not part of the pedigree the Spirit assembles. Compare this with that of Enoch," And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah/ And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters (Ge.5:21-22)"

Adam is the son of God. ( Luke 3:38)

Adam lived 130 years (100+30) before he begat Seth who is the double Jesus Christ, whose ministry began when he was thirty. (Three is the tag for the Son of God)

In the case of Enoch he lived 65 years (13x5) and after Methuselah he had many sons and daughters as Adam had. Significant point is that he walked with God. To indicate it the Spirit gives us this verse:" And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.(v.23)

3x100 explains it all beyond any doubt.

I'm just going to come right out and say it, it's silly to get caught up in which translation is the "true" translation. I will give everyone a different view; and, I'll do that by asking a question: Which gospel, (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) is the "real" gospel? You see, these gospels are subtly different, and one more so (John) yet logically, Christ only lived one life on this earth so "logically" there can only be one "true" gospel! The answer is, they are all the true gospel! So, which translation is the "true" translation; the answer to that lies in WHY Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are all the true gospel: Because God desires to speak to us All (humans). The same is true of the different translations, some "hear" Kjv best and some niv etc What is the holy bible but paper and ink? It's God The Holy Spirit who "SPEAKS" to us individually, and as individuals we are unique, therefore God speaks to EACH one of us in our own unique way!

    Priestly Garments

In the garments that God commanded Moses to make, for service, the Spirit gives qualities required under Levitical priesthood.

"And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it./ Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof./ And thou shalt set in it settings of stones,(Ex.28:16-17)

    Front and back

What is the significance of the foursquare being doubled? It has a front and back is it not?

When Moses requested God to reveal his face God would only reveal his 'backside' which gives us an insight into the narrative mode of the Spirit.

"Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live./ And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:/ And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:/ And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.(Ex.33:19-23)".

The breastplate is for glory and beauty. That is the front. Its real purpose is in matters where the high priest was called to mediate. It was the breastplate of judgment, because he wore it upon his breast when he went to ask counsel of the Lord, to give judgment in any particular case; as also when he sat as judge to teach the law, and to determine controversies. (Le.10:11;De.17:8-9). So backside held the key to his office. It relates to Christ the Mediator. Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ is the light of the knowledge, which is shed in our hearts. (2 Co.4:6)

    Upper Room (1 of 2)

In the Acts of the Apostles we have an incident where St Peter raised the dead woman. (Ac.9:37-41)The Spirit is particular to state he did so in the upper room. It is a space or the face, so heaven acts in tandem with the earth. Jesus had promised his disciples, "Whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt.18:18). All the promises of God in him are yea and Amen..

The Spirit uses the face as a tag. Upper room serves as the face to which the Spirit introduces the creation account thus, 'The Spirit of God moved upon the face of waters."

    We have several instances:

In the Lucan gospel we have a physical space earmarked where Jesus shared his last supper. "Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" '/Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.""( Luke 22:7-NKJV).

Later as commanded by the risen Christ the eleven disciples gathered together in an upper room in Jerusalem to choose a replacement for Judas who betrayed Jesus. They were there to keep the number twelve intact. It provided the command number 12 the doctrine of Christ, which established the spiritual credentials of the nascent church. The promise to them was,"if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven./ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."(Matt.18-19-20-NKJV)

    Cabul

King Solomon entered into an agreement with the king of Tyre for raising funds for building the Temple and his palace. He palmed off twenty cities in the land of Galilee, which were' good for nothing' and received a loan of six score talents of gold. When King Hiram came to visit the lands, he was displeased and called them Cabul meaning 'nothingness'.

In order to pay him back King Solomon however raised a levy. On "all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel."(1 Ki.9:29-30). This heavy burden creates a sequence events on which the kingdom would split as God had foreseen.

What made them 'the land of Cabul' but disobedience? (De.20:17) The disobedience of Israel was towards Jesus Christ is the heir of all things. The Spirit therefore uses the expression unto this day' 'And he (Hiram) called them the land of Cabul unto this day(v.12)'.

How wise was King Solomon? " For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." (1 Co.1:19) Have we not seen the movers and shakers of this world shortchange the rights of the marginalized people but what does Jesus say,"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"? (Matt.5:10)

Ark of Noah (2 of 2)

It took 120 days to construct the ark. We are to be conformed in the likeness of the Son. 40x3 where three is the command number for the Son. The ark was three stories high. Our body, soul and spirit are to be wholly circumscribed by the mind of the Son who obeyed his Father totally.

The ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits broad, 30 cubits high. Of the last point with regards to the height we have this line," Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail(Ge.8:20a)"

What does this tell us? We are living two worlds at the same time, world of the flesh and of the Spirit. Water level gave 15 cubits above, signifying each believer negotiated heaven and earth alike trusting in the Lord God.

Noah's Ark also serves to indicate the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ is in mid-air than on the earth. For this reason New Jerusalem descends from heaven, glory of which all earth shall see. "Every eye shall see him', even so, Amen. (Re.1:7)

Symbolism of body wherever the Spirit uses, is bound up with the Sovereignty of the Will. Thus symbolism of a Lamb and a stone 'cut not with hands' are within direct frame of reference to the Son.

1 John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

What is this sin that is unto death?

Zechariah 5 (Apparently I listed chapter 4 errantly earlier as chapter 3; sorry)

1Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

2And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

3Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

4I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

These verses are admittedly difficult to analize. Some have suggested this indicates the dimensions of a missile or some small scale nuclear warhead. It does show that the whole earth is somehow affected in particular the thief and those who "swear falsely". I would tend to think that may mean convenants such as marriages or other vows that are disregarded with God in particular. One could look at other demons in Revelation and the Book of Joel 2:9 for a similar invasion but there are some differences.

The rest of the chapter seems to indicate demonic religion taking root in the land of "Shinar" which is in ancient Mesopotamia or the area of Babylon (verse 11). This could certainly refer to the one world religion being prepared in Abu Dhabi and perhaps envisioned elsewere to bring about unity with all the Monotheistic religions; and or a new religion amalgamating mysticism from Eastern and Western faiths alike. We certainly see this as dominating the world in the first half of the Tribulation ( Rev. 17:3) before Satan overthrows it ( Rev. 17:16) and the subsequent destruction of the religious AND economic Babylon in Revelation 18.

    Ge.1:24-Ch.2:3 (2 of 3)

    Overview

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." (2.3)

The Spirit presents us with seven days indicating that we are looking the creation as willed in the mind of the Father. Seven is a tag for the whole perfect will of God. This can be broadly divided into two where Heaven covers first four days in which Day 3 points his Son in whom the Father was pleased. "And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him."(He.1:6) What occurs in heaven is made manifest on the earth. Thus we read passages where a voice from heaven is heard saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."(Matt.3:17)

God had established the Son as the first born of all creation. " Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature." (Col.1:15)

Days 4 to 6 refers to the Son as the Word become flesh, "Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee./ And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me."(He.2:12-13)

"I will declare thy name unto my brethren" makes every one called to join it. In other words we have this verse, "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." The three wise men saw the glory after their fashion and set out to worship his Son. The heavenly choir appeared to some shepherds likewise. Thus the will of God has been set in motion in manifold ways. So the second division of seven days is the preaching of the Word. Day Five as we discussed in the previous post was about man appointed as the steward of God, the Son was the firstborn of all creation.

What does Day Six signify? Is it not obedience to the call? "I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee." Without obeying the call what is he?

    Zechariah 3

1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

The accuser or the enemy of our souls was apparently in some sort of compromised state due to sin. The specific cause isn't there but his garments were filthy (see Revelation 3:4 the state of many in Sardis). To be able to be in God's presence we must be unspotted ( Eph. 5:27). Therefore; the Lord forgave the iniquity (verse 4) and gave him fresh garments and a mitre (v. 5).

6 And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

These verses show a sort of permanence to Joshua's ministry if he continues in God's path. The indication in the rest of the chapter is the Lord Himself has to ensure him as well as the rest of us that through His atonement. The later part of verse 7 probably indicates other heavenly angels or other saints that may be part of the "cloud of witnesses" perhaps alluding to Heb. 12:1-2?

    Genesis Ch.1 (2 of 2)

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (v.2)

The formlessness of the earth refers the body he 'hast prepared me.' In the fulness of times it shall be the new heaven and new earth. God is a Spirit moving upon the waters so what is knowable of God in the material world shall have understanding which is spontaneous. (Ro.1:20). Thus fire shall go out when the air is cut off. (Understanding in every atom in Cosmos is like a seed-"But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body."-1 Co.15:38)

Light and darkness are alike unto God. God gave understanding to lower parts so when the last trump sounds the dead shall hear. " In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."(1 Co.15:52)

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light./ And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." (vv.4-5)

We are considering here trinity. The Father, a Spirit, the Son body and the Word, which was God ( John 1:1) which is a voice and also a sign. Knowledge of the holy is set in terms of the gospel which is one. Light of the knowledge of the glory of God is set in terms of Jesus Christ.(2 Co.4:6) We shall put this relationship in terms of the light, as a quality in imparting understanding. God the Father of lights, the Son as the true Light. ( "the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."- John 1:9)

How do we separate the light from darkness in terms of Jesus Christ? Those who put on the mind of Christ shall see through his light. (Ps.36:9) It is also called the eye of faith. It is single in focus. "thy whole body shall be full of light."(Matt.6:22) Those who see the world and its traditions lies even in darkness. "And we know that we are of God," ( 1 John 5:19-21)

Study of Genesis (2 of 3)

How the mind of God and of the Son are set against each other by the Spirit can have only one conclusion. doing the will of God. So the writer t the Hebrews speak of Jesus, "Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:/ In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure./ Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God."(He.10:5-7). God had prepared a body, which spoke of the body of the Son. In perfecting the will while he was in human likeness, the cross must surely speak the death of a malefactor in the eyes of the world but it spelled fulness in the mind of God. So the mind of God teaches us a key to his holiness, which is patience. In the mind of Christ it was obedience. It was perfection truly personified in his single sacrifice. This we see in the Psalm 139, which is about the body of Jesus Christ.

Here is the quote: "My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth./ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."(Ps.139:15-16)

How does the Spirit refer to it in the creation account? "The earth was without form and void" Those who approached it literally would go on to make the most egregious conclusions so much so they would drag the whole nation into their foolishness. John Scopes 'monkey trial, Tennessee in 1925 ' was a natural conclusion. God does not err. Man errs because he applies reason where faith is required.

Let Darwin score his point but the Spirit wants those who wish to be part of the Body of Christ to be obedient as the Son was. Jesus knew who were his and who were not.

    Ps.78:5-8 (2 of 2)

    "Spirit steadfast with God"

What is the significance of the cloud of witnesses (He.12:1). They are positioned in the world of the Spirit while we witnessing in real time to the world. They are as real in the will of God as we are in real time struggling to keep ourselves steady in the midst a world running helter -skelter chasing 'a good life'. While we look to the cloud in our mind's eye do not they signify what we are? They are angels called to be saints, that in the divine Will is as real as the slain Lamb for an emblem. The eternal word (He.13:8) gives them a definite place ("Being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:/ That we should be to the praise of his glory, "-Ep.1:11-12) in the Salvation Plan of God. They are like stars and one third of them shall be cast down by the dragon.(Re. 12:4). One third refers to the Son signifying that they having been misled forfeit " all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."

The World of the Spirit earmarked us "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love"and the purpose is clear:"That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him/ In whom also we have obtained an inheritance," Political expediency of Constantine the great was merely an underhand swipe of the red dragon but once complacency sets in the Christian world, before they realized were part of a sequence that Satan had certainly engineered. Traditions of Mother Church create their own narrative. For this reason Jesus forewarned, For many are called but few are chosen.

    Ps.78:5-8 (1 of 2)

    Spirit Steadfast With God

"And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God."(v.8)

Here the Spirit is speaking of the Fellowship of God, a Spirit with Man. What holds them together which is what Law here signifies so testimony of Jacob is same as testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophesy. In the prayer of Jesus speaks, 'Sanctify them (his disciples) with truth; thy word is truth." ( John 17:17)

this Word is the truth, the Law basis for the kingdom of God. The Word became flesh and in his human likeness he made manifest Truth as doable. "I am the truth." Spirit of Christ before the Advent is what the Holy Spirit refers here. Speaking of the nation of Israel their fathers were a stubborn and rebellious generation as they would do to the man sent from God. They denied him, In short we see the rebellious spirit of disobedience evolving generations after generations along with this part of the creation account. "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,"(Ge.2:4) God separated light from darkness which creates generations after generations of children of wrath whose spirit was not steadfast with God. So in the Psalm what do their fathers ask? "Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?"(78:20). Now they want prosperity! Children want toys that rattle and that come with colors and shapes. Similarly babes in Christ want jingle of material wealth. These are 'other man's riches' as Jesus would say. ( Luke 16:11-12)

    Zechariah 2:1-2 state:

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

These verses seem similar to Revelation 11:1-2 but in this case the city itself is being measured; not just the Temple.

Verses 3-5 state: And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

This wall of fire seems to indicate conditions during the Millennium; but there are also some parallels to the conditions before the battle of Gog and Magog as Ezekiel 38:11 states "And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates..." Some question if this is one event or also is indicative of the event at the END of the Millennium in Revelation 20 (or perhaps both).

Verse 6 through 8 state: Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord. Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

This parallels verses such as Isaiah 49:12 "Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim." Starting in verse 9 of that chapter we see captives being released; again likely an event after the Tribulation.

    Bible Study :Re.19:9

    Write

"And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."

Blessed are they, which are called. This calling is one aspect of salvation. How does one receive it? what signifies preaching the word is all about hearing it well, loud and clear. St Paul advises Timothy of minding his calling. "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine." This is what gospel, the good news should sound to those whose hearts are right before God. How does the ear receive it? Faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God.(2 Ti.4:2-5-ESV;Ro.10:17). God fashioned all hearts alike but in the matter of hearing it is unequal. How so? St Paul warns Timothy in the same letter thus, "But having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, / and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. " "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you?"(Gal.3:1-3)

Jesus had warned, "For many are called, but few are chosen."(Matt.22:14)

On account of this split, -the ear hears the truth which however is garbled so as to believe in myths is disaster for many, which helps us to focus on the imperative of the written word. The eternal word settled in the heavens is called the testimony. For this reason we hear it in many passages. "These are the true sayings of God."

St John would have worshipped the angel but he reveals what he really is. He is one among the many witness thus called even as he is. This cloud in a manner of speaking is the body oof Christ on the make. "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God:: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (19:10).

    Parable of the Sower

    Matt.13:4

    Matt.13: 4

Parable of the Sower: The Wayside

"And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:"(

Jesus himself supplied its significance so we shall stick to what he has meant. He lays different emphasis than the one he said following this. In the Parable of the Tares the field is the world.(13:18) The sower refers to God who made all hearts alike but here the works of man have changed the terrain altogether. Pr.24:30-34. The sluggard has let it to rack and ruin so the fences are down. Of such Prophet Jeremiah qualified that their hearts were treacherous and desperately wicked.(Je.17:9) Their hearts, to all intent and purpose were no man's land. They were willing tools for any ill hatched scheme and served the causes of unclean spirits. In short the heart has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit"(Re.18:2-3) These spirits are birds that devoured the word sown in their hearts..

God formed all hearts alike and tries their work. As in-the case of the Parable of the Talents each of us shall give an account of our works. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways/and my thoughts than your thoughts"(Is.55:9). How miry clay made of the word of God these two millennia ,has shown that Jesus talk and activism arise from hearts desperately wicked. Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Without following him and abiding in him there is no way these two ways could be reconciled. As we see the false shepherds who have allied with state ,-whether it is pro-life or Anti- abortion it is contrary to everything that Jesus stood for and set an example. What concord has light with darkness?

It would seem Satan showed Constantine the great an easy way out and he took it, Satan ever since let out bilge beginning with heresis and concord with Belial etc.,

    Study on Ge.1:1-3

    The Worlds

'In the beginning' establishes it is the Will of God we are looking at: the heaven and the earth are the two worlds created and the Spirit from the outset informs us the Son was equally involved in the creation. "All things were made through him."( John 1:3) The logos aspect of the Son serves as the bookend while 'in the beginning' sets the other bookend. The Spirit picks up the role of the Son with the tag 'in the fullness of time' and it is to continue the salvation plan in the core will of the Father.

The Spirit annotated the v.1 in He.11:3 This explains the logos aspect,"the Word was God". Thus the worlds were framed by the word of God. "Darkness was upon the deep"and here we have the verse from John's Gospel to help us. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."( John 1:5) The Spirit obliquely touches upon the angelic revolt since it is not germane to the Salvation plan which is our focus. St Paul speaks "Or do you not know that the saints shall judge" the world and "do you not know that we are to judge angels?" (1 Co.6:2-3)This being the case all that's needful shall be before us so we may judge justly.

v.2 The earth was without form tells us that we are looking at the will and what were made to appear shall be grouped under seven days. "And the Spirit of God moved upon the waters"(KJV) can be put in terms of the two worlds: the worlds of the Spirit interfacing with that of the natural world. In this context we can follow the drive of the Spirit "Let there be light " and its effect we see in all creation. Glory of God is visible outcome of the wisdom and power principle on active mode."And there was light." is the effect.

What holds these worlds as one? Faith is one. Without faith no one shall please God. The world of the Spirit is the envelope of saints for whom death of their corporeal bodies is no matter. They have spiritual body that is called the body of Christ. (2 Co.5:1-3)

    Mark 4: ( 2of 2)

Jesus affirmed,"A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."(Matt.7:11) The Spirit introduced in the very outset to establish God as the First Cause and genealogies serve the purpose of creating a holy family from Seth onwards. It is thus predestination works. Many are called but few are chosen because the seed was not in those who did not make their election sure. (Matt.22:14)

Will of God as the cause and the Earth as the effect is neat but because of man's disobedience we have this question from Jesus. "Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" Satan has slipped in tares and what heresies we find in our midst owe to two parallel governances of God and Satan. God shall purge the earth of all tares. "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."(2 Pe.3:7)

The Spirit introduced in the creation account seven days, which are the seven pillars of the house that Wisdom has hewn. (Pr.9:1) Think of each pillar as the cause in the divine Will of the Father; each pillar is built up in a sequence,- cause alternating with effect and it shall be a continual process. The writer to the Hebrews speaks about the Son "And upholding all things by the word of his power." God rested from his labors and there is a continual process going on which no one shall ever know unless it is revealed to him. Hannah in her new song sings thus, "For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them."( 1 Sa. 2:8)

In John 6:15 we read that Jesus resisted those who wanted to install him as king by force. Jesus Christ would not want to be the king of the Jews under their terms. "How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?" (Matt.26:53-54-NKJV)

It allowed no room for compromise. Temporal powers like of Imperial Rome are 'tares slipped in by the enemy'.

    John 1:1

    The Word (2 of 2)

The Holy Spirit in organizing the God document gives us spiritual truths from the standpoint of God a Spirit and from the 'only begotten' Son. Fellowship of God is with Man and the latter is no ordinary man but the Word which was in the beginning with God. As John would refer to it," which is in the bosom of the Father"(1:18) we shall come to it anon.

The Spirit sets before us Truth in terms of the Father and from that of the Son. It is this Logos aspect whereby whosoever believes in the Son shall have the Father as well. Whoever has seen the Son has seen the Father as well.( John 14:9). "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son./ Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father."(1 John2:22-23)

Note that the above mentioned quote,-John14:9, it was Jesus of Nazareth who declared it, ie in his humanity. John in his Gospel introduces The Word which is the Law, is Sovereign so we see him as "the Man is the Message". As the Son was in the beginning with God every one of us having received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior was with him from the beginning: Jesus Christ the same yesterday , today and forever.(He.13:8)

It is thus we need study our position. This is graphically set before us in the inaugural vision of Jesus Christ. We are presented with the composite picture of Jesus Christ and the Ancient of days. There is nothing to indicate nail marks of crucifixion other than this:"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore." No more he dies and having perfected with one sacrifice the Word is now in its judgement aspect. "and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword." (Re.1:16-18) The Spirit is annotating the truth: The Word, the Father and the Son are one. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:"(Is.55:11a) This word points to what ' things which shall be hereafter.' This is what we find in Re.19:13-15

    John 1:1 (1 of 2)

    "The Word"

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God./ The same was in the beginning with God."

In the beginning is a tag by which the Spirit begins the creation account (Ge.1:1) on one part and 'in the beginning John 1:1-2 is the other part. Thus two narrative strands from God the Father and the Son are hinged as one by the tag,'In the beginning'. Similarly the night vision of Daniel (Dan.7:10-13-14) ties up with the inaugural vision of St John. These composite imagery of God and Man allows predestination to work. The same truth whether presented from God or Man is same because the Word which is the word of truth. It sanctifies everyone."They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world./ Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth"( John 17:16-17).

The word of truth, and it is what Jesus Christ as the Son of man revealed what was in the bosom of his Father and what are we if we merely treat it literally? Gospel is one but heresies are what man with carnal wisdom make of it. "You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matt.12:34)" A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.( Luke 6:45)

    Fulness of Christ (1of 2)

    1 Co.4:7

"For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?"

We are God's elect. When God framed the worlds by his word we were there in the divine Will. (He.11:3; Ro.8:33). God sent his Son to the world in the fulness of time he was in human likeness so each one of us may see him as in a glass. He was the visible image of God so in his divine will, we were given in his Son a place. This is one aspect of his fulness coming from his Being. He is holy so in terms of his name we have a name in his Son. God," who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ," called us "that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"(Ep.1:3-4)

Fulness of Christ is in terms of his obedience. He was his beloved Son in whom he was pleased. His holiness his brightness of glory clothed in a form so he felt hunger and thirst as everyone one of us, "but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." (He.4:15) We were of sinful flesh struggling under the law of Sin. But his perfection has had a great bearing on us past present and future. We who were condemned were justified or sanctified because of him. " For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified."(He.10:14;Ro.8:1)

His fulness is established by his resurrection, "after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;"(He.10;12). In all these God revealed his grace towards us. "According to the riches of his grace;/ Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;" So we walk in faith and not by sight. It is His fulness we may see the role of the word of his power with which we are built up daily, as St Paul says, "and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."(Ac.20:32; He.1:3)'
