Could someone explain verse 26 please? If you are a believer and you have an abortion are you still forgiven?
  • Anna on Isaiah 41:10 - 5 years ago
"The enemy is "like" a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour." Notice the Word of God says "like"; he has no teeth to devour God's children, but he does a good job keeping us in fear. The Word tells us "fear not!" Why? Because no darkness on the face of this whole earth can overcome a child of God! Why? Because God is with us! When everything looks like it will fall apart, hold on! When everyone seems to be against you, hold on! When those who should know you best are believing concocted lies of those who choose to be used of the enemy, HOLD ON! When it seems that there will be some catastrophic end to whatever it is we are facing, anchor yourself and H...O...L...D O...N!!! As I speak to you, I speak these truths to myself! There is a mighty God, my Father, Our Father, who is holding me/us!!! Don't give up, give in, wallow in self - pity or cower in fear!!! Our Father is faithful and I am a living testimony that He is! He's coming soon! Be encouraged! God bless.

What does he mean by "the Elder unto the elect lady? I know elect refers to Christians. Is John identifying himself as an "Elder" which he would be because you can't get any "Elder" than one of the original disciples. Or perhaps in that time, it was not proper to send a letter to a woman. Is it that? so he writes to an Elder to deliver it to her. Was John showing humility by identifying himself as an Elder but not as an original disciple of Christ? Is this simply a letter written to a Christian woman who has children and he heard how faithful she has been?

    Thanks

    Sincerely

    Spike

Know what? If we got a new video game we'd be awake 24/7, figuring out how to play it. Another 2 years trying to beat the game (including Time spent on YouTube watching cheats and tricks).

We're all over the place trying to Beat That Game!!!

Tell me why we don't go at the Bible the same way?? Dig, dig deeper, read commentaries on here, read commentaries on Google.

The Holy Spirit is your TEACHER. Ask Him. If you'll sit still long enough and be quiet, you will get answers.

    PRAY for a TEACHABLE spirit.

They're not cheats; but your Bible will start speaking to your spirit.

Get a Study Bible that has Center of Each page, reference columns: with the abc notes within the scriptures. Those send you to other scriptures that EXPAND the meanings or reveal a prophesy.

Back out of the room to the Search Box.

Put a scripture in it or just a word (like worms) hit the arrow. The search engine will pull up all verses with 'worms' in it.

Touch or click the verse and it will highlight yellow.

Scroll downward to the Commentary Box. Click that. It will show you what the scholars interpret that scripture to mean.

Questions answered. It makes studying fun and interesting.

    Be adventurous.

I was fooling around one day with the Search Engine on this website... typed in CHINA. Up pops 3 scriptures!! It gives locations you can use Bible maps with.

Pandemics are real. And we are going to see one after another. It's in the Bible.

There's a quickie link from KJV to Google to help you find a scripture you're unsure about. Like: "Jesus releasing prisoners from hell".

Learn to study! For yourselves. Share what you find, on here. IT IS FUN! God speaks to us through His Word.

When you sit down to study: pray: I HAVE THE SAME MIND OF CHRIST !! I receive it by faith right now. God watches over His Word To Perform it.

Habakkuk 2:2-4 find your identity in the Bible.

There was an old man and his wife at the car wash. After going through the wash a young man came to the car with his towels to wipe it off. As he finished, the old man angrily barked at the young worker "you missed a whole bunch of spots on the windshield!" The young man apologized, grabbed his towels and began to wipe the windshield again. As he finished the old man angrily said "what are you Blind? There are still spots all over my windshield." The young man again apologized and this time grabbed a fresh towel and proceeded to scrub the windshield. As he finished, the old man became irate but before he could bark at the young man his wife stopped him. She asked "Alfred, let me see your eye glasses. When is the last time you cleaned them?" As she investigated his glasses she noticed many spots all over the lenses.

Ask yourself; what is the moral to the story and how can I apply it to my own life and walk in Christ.

Let's get our lenses clean and help others to see better as well.

Where is the rapture in the Bible , we know the word is not but the event ?

Last time Mishel gave verses that where out of context and other things and then changed his view saying he did not know , well yes we already knew that !

So again where is this rapture event found in the Bible a second chance to prove you are not a false teacher ! Go for it !
  • Rob on Romans 8:16 - 5 years ago
I'm not concerned about people that do not understand the scriptures, what is chaff to the wheat ?

If anyone believes in the Rapture and all it's doctrines they have no clue on the Bible in general .

If you think you can sin , and expect to go to heaven you have believed a devils gospel .

Both of which M has taught .

    JOB 39:15

13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

    16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

  • Michelle on Hebrews 12:17 - 5 years ago
After reading Chapter 12 Hebrews, I'm more deeply convicted of my sin. I've been married for 35 years, 20 years without affection or sexual relations with my Husband. Many unfortunate types of manipulations and abuses, etc. And I stayed cause I wanted to triumph over this, honor my marriage, and God hates divorce. A few years passed, and I sought the Lord more diligently, more time, more prayer etc. The voice of the Holy Spirit was strong, although, my past Pastor didn't trust or believe when I reported a Jezzabel in the church and a witch oppressing prayers at that church.

Since then, I've sinned grievously and I can't hear the Holy Spirit anymore. The devil know us quite thoroughly, and there was only one person I would have been tempted with. OF course hindsight is 20/20. Good boundaries and no problems with this for my entire marriage. A happenstance of an old friend, we started speaking, and I began a relationship with him emotionally and physically. Now, I love him and want to be with this person. My character was not of someone that would do this, never would have thought I would ever do this. But here I am and sorrowful I've sinned against my Holy Heavenly Father.

I'm frightened that I may have given my Heavenly Home birthright away, and I'm destined for hell. Father God please No. Esau was sorrowful too. He grieved as I have, and I want to hear the Holy Spirit again. This chapter convicts me more- is there no hope for my salvation now? Is it lost forever? How do I know if I have fallen permanently from the Grace of God? Hell :'(

This man was divorced, but I am not. I have not had relations with my Husband for many years. Do I divorce my Husband and marry my Friend. (act of my sin, is like marriage)?

I've prayed to God for help, and have spoken of regret and help to know what to do. The last 6 weeks, my friend & home have scabies and I caught them. :'( Can I make this right by marrying my new love? Are the pests warnings and of what?

    HELP please
  • THE HOLINESS OF GOD on Psalms 80 - 5 years ago
From the writings of the Rev. Billy Graham

Admittedly it is hard to understand many things in Scripture, but it is not because Scripture is wrong; it is because mankind is made up of weak and imperfect people, unable to scarcely grasp the overwhelming perfection and holiness of God.

We have become so used to sin that we can't imagine anyone being absolutely perfect. But God is! Because God is holy, He never does wrong-ever.

God's holiness is righteous and pure. The Bible says, "Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing" ( Habakkuk 1:13). Certainly, God notices evil and condemns it. The passage is clarifying that He will NOT look upon evil and tolerate it. He will indeed judge sin, and doing evil is sin.

The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of God's glory ( Romans 3:23). We stand guilty and condemned before Him, worthy only of His judgment and condemnation.

Apart from Christ and His work on the cross, we have no hope of Heaven, because even one sin contaminates us and makes us unfit to come into God's presence. We must never take the holiness and judgment of God lightly, for it is the very essence of His character.

But God is also the God of love ( 1 John 4:8). This makes all the difference. Behind every dealing God has with us is His perfect love. It was love that caused Him to create us, and it was love that caused Him to send His Son to REDEEM US. His love pursues us and draws us to Himself, and His love will someday take those who believe in Him into His presence forever.

God says to us, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" ( Jeremiah 31:3).

Mishael: ought we not to accept so great

A salvation? I see the violence we do to each other, on the free news, and it's makes me feel sick that we are so capable of hurting each other; and not even thinking about it later.

The terror of it, is that the end will not come swiftly like a huge asteroid strike. It's going to happen like birth pains.

Man was made in the image of God . All agreed ?

So why does man not have 3 heads ? Or at least 3 distinct personalities?

It's obvious man is made in Gods image .
