I truly believe this passage goes beyond the gift of salvation, and the work of sanctification by the power of the Holy Spirit which by Grace is beautiful beyond measure. But the understanding comes from the last part of the verse understanding God's Purpose. It is so easy to say "All things work together for good to those who love God. But it is working through God's purposes for your life that takes greater faith, greater peace, greater joy, greater contentment in our circumstances, trials and testing that one can say God works all things for good according to His purposes for me, rather than to speak this passage up in the air as wishful thinking?

Yes, Jude 1;9 "The Lord Rebuke thee"... as believers we have been given authority; Galatians 1;20-22 we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of the Father...to rule and reign with Him, He is the head we are the body Gal 2; 5&6 Also Luke 10;19"Behold, I have given you all authority to tread on serpents and scorpions. I have given you authority over all the powers of the enemy, nothing shall by any means harm you. Also Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because Greater is He THAT IS WITHIN YOU, than he that is in the world. I John 4;4 ...So my question is When is it correct to say "The Lord rebuke thee"? Certainly Michael the archangel is more powerful (authority trumps power) than we are?? SO do we need to say the Lord rebuke thee.

    To Whom It May Concern:

Greetings to you all. I am conflicted. If the King James Bible should be the only Bible to use, why is that so if King James was a Freemason and God highly frowns upon the Masons because they ultimately worship Lucifer? Please advise.

by laying on the hands i was told BIG angel is standing with you! why would i be afraid? i ran out of the alter call to my pastor and i was afraid, my pastor at that time said to me, " wow! i like to have that spoken over me! I search God for the call on my life back in 2002. i am a messenger of God. i have seen the prophecy i done heard from the Spirit of God to go do this, say this, which i did, and yes it came to pass. i walked very close back then. i was wounded in church and i left the church but the holy spirit still gives me directions and knowledge today. what is it that got me now feeling stuck in a situation to do His will. i'm afraid that i've failed my call on my life. i was also told that the anointing on my life is very powerful but yet i'm afraid. how will you know if God has turned away from me?

    Chris, Adam, and everyone else:

The comments I have made are based on truth and on the Bible. If you don't want to believe what I have said, that is your choice. Jesus did die to save us from sin here on Earth. This means we don't continue to sin after we've been saved. Sinning christians will not go to Heaven. By the way, Christian is mentioned 3 times in the New Testament. The title saint is used more than that in the Bible. Yes one that is saved from sin by the applying of the blood of Jesus is a saint through repentance, even here on Earth now.

So look at it this way, if you are right that we cannot stop sinning until the Judgement Day, you and I both will make it to Heaven. If however I am right and you needed to be sin free after salvation, you cannot enter but I would. Why don't you ask God honestly and sincerely to reveal where you are with Him now? Your actions do count for or against you for where you end up eternally.

Final thought; what is the difference in one that never repents of sin and one that claims salvation but sins still? Actually God sees these 2 as being in the same spiritual condition...lost. That is why I said the Old Testament sacrifice is considered by you as the same as Jesus, because He supposedly cannot save you from sin.

The verse you listed but from many different bibles and beliefs did not all have the word "That" in it. This verse, in all the bibles listed quite simply says. " Dont tell lies to your brothers in order to cause fighting among them." We all know by the time we are in grade school that lying and gossiping is not a good thing. It spreads hate. And hate brings violence like bullying which we discourage greatly in our schools and always feel bad for the person being bullied as well as grateful if it is not our kids that are targeted by bullies. This includes cyber bullying.Which is deliberately trying to hurt someone by telling lies, spreading gossip, name calling etc.

and doing it with an audience which makes it a million times worse. Theres NEVER ANY GOOD REASON FOR ANYONE TO SPREAD LIES TO CAUSE HATE ANGER, VIOLENCE & BULLYING ." That's what God is saying. Being a Christian who ACTUALLY tries to always follow the rules of God & the bible I like to think about how Jesus would handle it. Could you see Jesus sitting on a laptop on social media typing out to the entire world lies or calling people names, delibertly bullying others. Do you see Jesus cheering anyone on that would do such a thing. I think not. Jesus had a crown of thorns pushed down upon his skull and nails hammered into his hands and feet & hung on a cross in the sweltering heat as people below called him names and heckled him. Can you imagine the incredable amount of physical as well as emotional pain he must have felt? Did jesus swear back at them? Did he call them names? True Christian's living a true existence according to Gods law should remember this next time they think it's ok to send discord about anyone even politicians through their face book messenger. Someday you will be judged. Not by Trump, but by our Powerful God who made each & every one of us in the entire universe. God Bless America and God Bless our World.

In the Pacific Ring cultures there is tale of mans earlier days when "The sky and the Earth were the same color, there was day and there was night but no Sunlight shown upon the Earth. (Catastrohpe results, sky was laden with dust/debris clouds for years) And a whole genration was born, lived, and died without ever seeing the sun. So the children of these past generations when one day the clouds finally began to dissipate, saw sunlight for the first time and believed they witnessed a new creation. "And God separated the heaveans from the Earth (made a firmamanet) and it was morning and it was night the first day". Make a bit more sense?

For God so Loved the World. What did He Do? He Gave His Only Begotten Son to die and suffer for our Sins. Your Sin is Repeated against God's Ten Commandments. Why? Do you hurt yourself so that you would take Satan's side, while on this Earth. You only push Jesus away from guiding you. What if you were to die today? Where would you go? Ask God now for forgiveness. Be able to face your Mighty Lord when He reads your Life in His Book. This is Life or Death to you once in Heaven. There is no turning back. Think...Now... Where are You???
