luke 18:8 poses the question ," When the Son of man comes, will he find on this earth anyone of faith?

it seems to me that 2 Esdras 5:1 answers this question:

"Nevertheless as coming the tokens, behold, the days shall come , that they which dwell upon earth shall be taken in great number, and the way of truth shall be hidden , and the land shall be barren of faith.

it seems like that last days will be a very dark time. Not many people will have any type of faith of knowledge of biblical teachings. It seems to me , that when this occurs, the arrival of the son of man, Jesus, will be close at hand.

there seems to be no comment on this scripture anywhere that I can find. I am speaking of Luke 18:8. what do you think or believe on this

  • What is apostasy on Matthew 26 - 5 years ago
    What is Apostasy?

    2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction

    Hebrews 3:12

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

    Galatians 1:8-9

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I SAY AGAIN, If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you (first) received, let him be accursed.

    2 Timothy 3:1-9

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

    1 Timothy 4:1-3

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of LIARS whose consciences are seared (burned), who forbid marriage and require abstinence from meats that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

    John 6:66

After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him (Jesus).

    HEBREWS 10

How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of Grace?

    Revelation 3:16

So, because you are lukewarm, and NEITHER hot nor cold, I will Spit you out of my mouth.

    JOEL 2

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your DAUGHTERS shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the HANDMAIDS in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible DAY OF THE LORD come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that

whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Hardly anyone Preaches on the Book of Joel these days, even tho it's clearly indicating The Day Of The Lord... which means about now.

Why are you so threatened by Female Preachers? Anyway.... we'll all, both sexes, will be present at the Bema Seat, together.

Verse 29 indicates a pouring out (soaking), not a droplet. In a time when men should be encouragers, you still relegate women to screened rooms so no one can see them.

On a personal level, men rarely participate in evening prayers or a quick Bible reading to women and children. Priestly duties.

Bema Seat= rewards or loss of rewards.

    Correction

We have had no distribution for the book 'A World Deceived' since 2008, not 2018 as reported earlier. Perhaps, one of your book distributors would be interested? We would sell them for $3.00 each (plus shipping), which would cover our original cost. If they can't afford it, we will ship them for free. Please let us know.

We also understand you fly around in an expensive private jet, paid for by the people you deceive, including the poor!

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

  • Alexander BarMikiel on Matthew 27:25 - 5 years ago
So question to get people thinking. "My God, My God why have you forsaken me"? Did God actually forsake Jesus? If so, does that make God a liar? Because He says in Deuteronomy 31:6 "...the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." He even repeats it in Hebrews 13:5. So does that mean that God loves us more than Jesus? His perfect son? The son who delighted in him? Well Psalm 147:11 disagrees with that. "the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love." So why did he forsake him? Is God a liar? Did he change his mind? no and no! "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine..." 2 Tim 3:16 and Hebrews 13:8, "Same yesterday, today, and forever."

So we have a problem, either the bible is wrong or we're wrong. The common argument to this is that, "God's wrath was so much, because sin was so bad." To which I reply, is God a god of wrath? or of Mercy? "The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love," Psalm 103:8. They say, well it was a long time, but time is nothing to God, "With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." 2 Pet 3:8. No, God wasn't so angry. There's something else here. When Jews memorized the bible, they didn't have verses, they memorized the first sentence in a chapter as it's name. And guess where that first sentence appears? Psalm 22, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Read the Psalm, whether Jesus said the whole psalm and it was recorded as just the title or not, doesn't matter, that is what he meant, and his disciples new it. This isn't a psalm of poor me, but of love, mercy and restitution! Jesus's last words were, "They will proclaim His righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it!" HE IS PRAISING GOD! Not crying out! He just recited the prophesy of his death, bones out of joint, pierced hands, flogging to show bones! God didn't forsake Jesus, Jesus praised God!
  • Which Baptism Works on Matthew 24:9 - 5 years ago
Even Jesus submitted to be baptized by John the Baptist. "So all righteousness would be fulfilled." It was the fulfillment of prophesy.

    Matthew Chapter 3

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

In the book of Acts, people were still being baptized by the disciples in water to repentance.

Even tho in John chapter 3, Jesus told Nicodemas he must be born again and baptized by the Holy Spirit.

Water baptism was not forbidden by Jesus. I chose to be baptized publically, to show the cast out demons that I belonged to Jesus.

Thank the Lord if you have never been oppressed by demons for meddling in the Occult: had one try to break your neck; restrain you so you cannot stand or speak; had one levitate your bed 6 ft off the floor; manifest to guests in other rooms , scaring them to pieces. Every single day, turn your paintings sideways. When you sit down in Church and the church prays corporately to cast the demons out of the building...the demons tell you that you "better get up and leave with them."

I confessed my past to a whole Church and was set free from the oppression finally.

If you don't know zip about spiritual warfare ; don't tell people it's heresy to be water baptized!! Few church's teach deliverance ministry. You sure don't teach it here. Be a disciple full bore.

Don't email me either unless you need deliverance from Pharisee-ism. Thank you. Mishael

If it was the Passover Seder, why did they think Judas was on his way to buy for the feast? Also, how can Jesus be the Passover Seder if he was killed the day after the Seder. Meaning this has to be the day before. Food for thought.

Is it a sin to have a mixed marriage between black and white People? I believe there are millions of Black Believers in the world also millions of White Believers. So, What is the answer that the question is seeking. I think its maybe. How to get beyond the problem of racial issues. With these two people groups. John 13:34-35. The Lord speaks of a new commandment he is bringing to Love your fellow man. In this chapter Jesus washes the disciples feet. He lets them know that what he was doing they would understand later. I say If they were to have foot washing services in your church as they are here in Jesus day, would you wash a black persons feet or a white persons feet? I believe he was showing how seriously he takes loving our fellowman. He says He is greater that we are and he is setting an example of how far love can go. and Should go. I would really ask myself, Would I? Could I? If asked or pushed how would I feel. How would I behave. Its flippant to say I love everybody and wish well for all which shows my love of all mankind? but is this true?

On HOMOSEXUALITY, SAN FRANCISCO AND GOD'S JUDGMENT

A Gallup pole of the 50 largest Metropolitan area's in the U.S. found that 6.2% of San Franciscans identify as LGBT; which is 2.6% higher than the national average. The survey was conducted between June 2012 and December 2014. The question now is: Would God be able to locate 10 people that are righteous in His eyes? We are afraid not, and please remember: he that is 'spiritual' judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man ( 1 Cor. 2:15).

We have served the true and living God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob since 1984 and during those days have learned that this whole world has beendeceived ( Rev. 12:9), and that it is a narrow road that leadeth unto 'Life' and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14). Also, that mankind prefers darkness over light ( John 3:19), as they serve after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It should be remembered that God's judgment will always prevail and therefore our message remains the same: Ye must Repent.

The phrase "full armor of God" comes from Ephesians 6:13-17: "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness (the righteousness of Jesus Christ) in place,

and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

The sword of the Spirit is all of the scriptures you have committed to memory.

  • Approaching Holidays or Holy Days on Ephesians 4:11 - 5 years ago
Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur comes 10 days after and is the Day of Atonement. Synagogues blast the shofar every day for a month leading up to the holiday, culminating with a sequence of 100 blasts during the Rosh Hashanah services, which take place this year on SEPTEMBER 20.

What is the meaning of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur?

Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of the world and marks the beginning of the Days of Awe:

A 10-day period of introspection and repentance that culminates in the Yom Kippur holiday, also known as the Day of Atonement. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are the two "High Holy Days" in the Jewish religion.

    >I was delivered from the occult; born again; and filled with the Holy Spirit; Yom Kippur 1985. I saw Jesus. Mishael

I had a question in regards to Matthew 18:21-22. Perhaps people have thought about this before in regards to forgiving your Brother or Sister 70 times 7 - or an unlimited number of times if they repent. Where is it that Christians draw the line between forgiving someone for their sins towards you an endless number of times verses simply being used as a doormat for a person who has no inward intention of turning around and walking in the opposite direction? When does a Christian forgive and when does a Believer withhold forgiveness when sins seem to go on and on and on ....?
  • Richard on Ephesians 4:11 - 5 years ago
    Hello brothers and sisters.

I just feel to post about how much discord I see among people on things between the OT and NT. Not really here. It seems many people are taking to follow old Jewish laws more seriously than what Christ came to teach. Some believe that to be following the Lord rather than that of producing good fruits of the Holy Spirit within us. Galatians 5:22-23. Some denounce the writings of Saul/Paul. Where there are many wonderful things in his books that surround the Lord.

It just saddens me to see some people focus on things before Jesus Christ came to us. Sticking to those things rather than what Christ and His apostles teach. I know there is much wisdom and the Word of God in the OT. We must all be careful. As, I have no interest in looking it up again, where I have read it is ok to kill a servant under certain circumstances. Would people really believe this was the Will of God? Or as when the people were going to stone the adulterous, under the law, and Jesus kept them from doing such a thing. Of coarse the pharisees and sadducees put Christ to death because they did not believe/agree with Him. As some of the hundreds of Jewish laws are good to abide by in my eyes. It is only a small percentage of the whole list. I do not condemn, or hate, anyone. It always makes me sad to see people argue, especially over things like this.

I believe what "Brother Dan" posted about Gods law being the Ten Commandments. And what Chris stated as in reply on Psalms 72. I truly pray for all to come to the Lord to see with His eyes, and hear with His ears, and to live for Gods Will and to glorify Him always. God Bless everyone!

Why would The Two Witnesses not be raptured when The Body of Christ is raptured? If a rapture happens PreTribulation then it has to be when The Two Witnesses get raptured. If Post Tribulation then it that rapture would br solely described of Matthew 24:40. Which means that only The Two Witnesses get raptured PreTribulation. Which means that those alive in Christ after The Two Witnesses get raptured up would have to live through the Anti-Christ Tribulation until Jesus Christ's Second Coming.
