Wondering how to reconcile the years of man: in Gen 6 it's 120yrs but in Psalm 90 it's 70 yrs. And although some say it was pre-flood and post flood--do you have any other thoughts why?

    Thanks.

Hello my brothers and sisters. Hoping this is ok, here, as this is about prayer but not a prayer request. When prayer began to become part of my daily life. The our Father prayer was of coarse my foundation as it is a good, simple, prayer. As time went on it felt good to just add more details to the prayer to make it more personal, detailed, and unique. One thing that came to me was after looking up the definition of "us". As it states to be a plural form of "I" or "me" that, could, usually means more than one. But there's no real detail if you're saying the prayer for just yourself, or whose in your house, or what? The Lord said to me one night "pray for all". This was perfect. So as in the prayer lines like "give us, forgive us, or deliver us, etc" adding "all" after "us" felt great. The Lord Blessed me with this, as to pray for all people. As in the Word there are several sayings like Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:35, 2 Peter 3:9, along with many others showing Gods glorious mercy and love for everyone. It may be hard to see it at the point in life you are in, life's not easy, but He's with you. As I just felt to share with this with you all. In that it may help in any way.

I'm sure we all have our own relationship with God and Christ. It truly is special when we are intimate with our Perfect Father. Producing good fruit with His will. God Bless you all my brothers and sisters, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I thought this was suppose to be a discussion on Gen1. Most here are jumping around to other chapters of the bible. One thing that I noticed about Gen1 is that at first we and all animals were vegetians. We ate no meat yet.

1 John 5:6 what is meant by Jesus being born of water and blood? I recently heard a teacher use this verse to explain how heavenly bodies do not have blood. And that this is proof that Adam had water as his circulatory system before the fall and after he had blood which made him mortal. Is there any other verses that reference this topic?
  • William M Patterson on Revelation 2:10 - 5 years ago
hello, so in verse 17 where it reads "and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written"

does that mean we are given a new name?

or what is the new name he's referring too?
  • The Holy Spirit and the Body of Christ on Psalms 72 - 5 years ago
    Luke 11:13

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Comment: if we need help understanding scripture, their is no limit on asking the Holy Spirit to teach you what something means.

By all means, be reverent (honor Him).

If you study a lot; over time your relationship with the Holy Spirit will be free flowing, enjoyable, desirable. It will make your heart ache with love for Him.

He is part of the Godhead that created everything! And He wants to sit with You! And teach you what scripture means. Write it down. Don't allow the cares of life take away His words to you.

Jesus went to the Cross to bring salvation to us. He also gave us the Holy Spirit: who is the Spirit of Christ. Jesus.

Jesus is the HEAD of the Body of Christ. We are members of His Body. Which part are you? I used to listen to others guess the parts amongst us. Funny talk. One day a friend looked at me and said, you're a forefinger. That hurt me. That was 30 years ago. Be who God made you to be. You are unique. We are His Body on earth.

    Think about that.

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and the scriptural references we use serve as confirmation that it is not us that speak, but the Spirit of our Father that speaketh in us ( 2 Samuel 23:2; Matthew 10:20; Acts 4:8; 6:10).

Why do ye not understand me? Please read 1 Cor. 2:14 and John 8:43-45 and you will learn who erred.

We must now shake the dust of our feet and continue our communication with those where our work may be fruitful ( Matthew 10:14; Mark 6:11; Luke 9:5) and please remember: Ye must repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

In answer to your question: How would that edify?

Our message and the Word of God does not require any edification, as God's message never changes. It has not changed since the beginning of Creation. Perhaps you take issue with our postings!

Seek, and ye shall find find ( Matthew 7:7).

My comments about the babes and sucklings, MAT 21 KJV. it implies a birth of Christ being born in us. Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN,He is gonna multiply himself in humanity via his seed thus the babes and sucklings that results from our hearing his Words etc.Thats y the WORLD WILL GO INTO TRAVAIL AND BIRTH PAINS. Hearing his words results in a spritual pregnancy, Because i have spoken these words seeds sorrows have filled your hearts when a woman in travail she has SORROWS but her Sorrows ARE TURNED INTO JOY AFTER THE CHILD COMES, THE CHILD BEING A BABY CHRIST,The H.G. Thats y he says i will see you again he is the babe,Whosoever receives one such CHILD in MY NAME receives ME. In MY NAME implies he is the father of the child, The child being the H.G.. Even in the natural we name our children after the Father, The name implies who the father is. thats y ISAIAH CALLS HIM EVERLASTING FATHER.The H.G comes out of his loins, his seeds his words, his breath etc. Thus he is truly the father of the H.G. WHICH ARE THE BABES AND SUCKLINGS. Thats y he refers to the H.G. as the Promise. Christ has to be multiplied as the stars of heaven,Thats y the woman is in travail and birth pains. Unless ya receive the kingdom of God as a lil child you will in NO wise enter there in ( THE BABES AND SUCKLINGS ) After the woman give birth John refers to the child as Salvation and the kingdom of God has now come. Thus no real salvation or a kingdom till the WOMAN GIVES BIRTH. We be the WOMAN . We are gona birth the children remember Jesus said the good seed are the children of the Kingdom which are spirits that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats the H.G the children of the Kingdom we are the mother, who is my mother? Them that hear the word that good seed and keeps it then comes a birth of Christ in US, WE ARE JUST A JOINT HEIR THE REAL HEIR IS THE CHILD, THE H.G. We are just the ground where that good seed is gona be sown. Thank God for th babes and sucklings

Rev.9:15 NKJV cites that the four angels bound at The Euphrates River were prepared for the hour, day, month and year of killing one third of mankind.

Rev 9:15 KJV cites it like it could be a year, a month, a day, and an hour that The Battle of Armageddon could last that long.

Therefore, Rev.11:2 of the Gentiles treading under foot The Holy City for forty two months could happen after The Euphrates River dries up and after The Battle of Armageddon.

So The Two Witnesses could be revived and raptured up before The Battle of Armageddon.

Looking at all references to The Euphrates River and The Battle of Armageddon in The Book of Revelation, points to The Battle of Armageddon happening when Jesus Christ returns. Then comes the feast for the birds of the air to enjoy eating the dead which Jesus Christ conquered after He returns.

The main question is are we supposed to be looking for The Two Witnesses in Golgatha where Jesus Christ was crucified next? Or are we supposed to be looking for The Euphrates River to dry up and then The Battle of Armageddon and then The Two Witnesses of Elijah and Elisa in Golgatha.

I see it that the next event in line are The Two Witnesses, Elijah and Elisa. Therefore, The Euphrates River has to last until Jesus Christ returns. The Battle of Armageddon we will deal with it when Jesus Christ returns.
  • Sandra on Revelation 11 - 5 years ago
Rev. 16:12-16 Cite on The Battle of Armageddon and the Euphrates River dried up making a path for the kings from the east of The Euphrates River. Jesus Christ appears to be present too.

Rev.11:2 Gentiles treading foot in The Holy City for forty two months. Are these Gentiles of the Battle of Armageddon?
  • Sandra on Revelation 11 - 5 years ago
Rev. 9:15 cites that the four angels in the Euphrates River were loosed and prepared for a year, month, day, and hour to kill a third of mankind. Does this mean that The Battle of Armageddon lasts that long?
  • Sandra on Revelation 11 - 5 years ago
Does Revelation 11:2 happen after The Two Witnesses? The Gentiles tread under foot for forty and two months. Could this be after the Euphrates River dries up and these Gentiles of the east of it then take over the Holy City? Then Jesus Christ comes back? Then wins This Battle of Armageddon and the birds of the air enjoy their feast of these Gentiles?
  • Sandra on Revelation 11 - 5 years ago
The Rapture could happen when The Two Witnesses are taken up after they are revived.

The Battle of Armageddon happens when Jesus Christ returns. The Seven Trumpet blasts say this.

The nations are taken to the Battle site of Armageddon. This is after the nations give their authority to the anti christ.

Do the gentiles trample the outer courts before or after The Two Witnesses?
  • Walter K Prescott on Revelation 12:6 - 5 years ago
Question about Revelation 12:6, the woman in the wilderness. Is this not the Jew and Gentiles believers as well as he elect being placed in a place of safety just before the Great Tribulation? I find it out there is no mention of this in your discussions, since Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour does NOT come three times, only twice, meaning the so-called rapture invention is false, in my humble opinion. If and when people read the Holy Bible, they should also listen with the heart. God bless and thanks for all.
