From the cross Jesus said, " forgive them they don't know what they are doing." Where would we be now if He had not said that? Stephen said," lay not this sin to their charge." Did this act of forgiveness have any impact on Saul's (Paul) life? Where would we be now missing 13 books of the New Testament? God has already forgiven humanity, we need to forgive each other. If we don't forgive we put ourselves in bondage.

  • Mishael on Genesis Holy Spirit - 5 years ago
I was busy today. Got to babysit tomorrow :) I can't believe many of you spent all day tearing into Genesis and Revelation again. No one mentioned the LET US scriptures or Gen. 3:22 ONE OF US. The Godhead speaking to each other.

There are two Trees! The KNOWLEDGE of good and evil; and The Tree of Life (which refers to Jesus because he offers Eternal Life.

3:22. And the Lord God said Behold, the man is become as One of US, to know good and evil: and now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever.

God set a flaming sword to keep the Tree of Life. It's location now: Revelation 22:2

When Adam & Eve were created they were spiritually connected to God. When they disobeyed and ate the fruit, that connection was severed. How angry was God? In verse 21, He made them clothing.

God is the Alpha (beginning) and the Omega ( the ending). He knows everything. He doesn't cause pain and suffering. People bring it on themselves. Or they listen to the satanic I WILL, who at that moment had the deed to the earth. Adams failure in the garden as a son of God, put that responsibility on Jesus. He won the deed back on the Cross. Now he is a defeated foe awaiting the final battle as written in Revelation.

The only way we can be made spiritually alive to God is through His son, Jesus Christ! You must be born again and Receive the Holy Spirit; be sealed; be baptized!

Has anybody asked the Holy Spirit for a gift? 1 Corinthians 12:31: COVET EARNESTLY the BEST GIFTS.

    HOLY SPIRIT GIFTS:

Romans 11:29, 12: all of it.

1 Corinthians 12: all of it.

Your Life as a Christian will bloom when you are tight with the Holy Spirit; who is God and many other qualities. When you ask Him to come into your life & kick his shoes off... you will fall deeply and reverently, in love with Him. If you ask Him to search you and take out anything that is not like Jesus, you need to be serious and reverent.

Jesus die for our sins,so that we might have a chance at the tree of life. Jesus knew all of what was expected of him; that's why God sent his only begotten son to do what the first Adam couldn't do. Jesus couldn't lie, that why no guile was found in his mouth. Jesus is the truth then and forever. We murdered him because of the truth. And we still don't want to be told the truth, because we have itchy ears. How is it that we accept lies why do hurt us and not the truth?
  • Mishael ROMANS 11 on Psalms 8 - 5 years ago
    (Read it real real slow)

It was PROPHESY. It all happened as the Godhead Wrote it. Through Jesus's suffering He set the new Covenant in motion until the mystery be completed: until the fullness of the Gentiles.

Romans 11:11 ...have they stumbled that

they should fall? God forbid: but rather

    through their fall...salvation is come

unto the Gentiles (WHY?) for to provoke

    them (the JEWS) to jealousy.

For if the casting away from them be THE

RECONCILING of the WORLD...what shall be

the the RECEIVING of them be...but life

    from the dead?

Verse 26: AND SO ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED

Verse 27: For this is MY COVENANT unto them (Israel) , WHEN I shall take away their sins.

Verse 28: As concerning the gospel (birth, life, death, resurrection of Jesus) They are enemies (now) FOR YOUR SAKES (us).

BUT as touching the election, they are BELOVED for the fathers sakes (plural) Deuteronomy 9:5.

They're OUT now, and we are IN. God did that all by Himself. Didn't need any of us to debate the soundness of His Decision. Why indeed should any of us Gentiles shed a tear for millions of Jews who were murdered?

Well, they were on the OUTS so it's ok?

    Romans 11:8. According as it is written, God hath given them a spirit of slumber;

Eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear....unto THIS DAY.

Everyone is going to give an account for every idle word that has come out of the mouth.

Once more I will try: God is dealing with Israel. He doesn't need our help. We should be grateful, because us Gentiles are being blessed huge because God has Israel off in a corner wondering why so many Gentiles are in love with Jesus, and follow him around like a flock of sheep. That was a positive statement. They are jealous. They are OUT. We are IN.

Soon, God is going to bring them in again.

    Page 2.

And who is the Tree of Life? None other than Christ.

Yes, there is an element of symbolism, allegory and metaphor in Genesis 1-3. And the 2 Trees were representative of something other than trees. Likewise, the 24 hour a day creation is also misunderstood. Days are Phases, Stages of creation, not literal 24 hours. If all God did was say, let there be light, and poof, everything came into being, what did He do with the rest of the 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds? The element of literal hyperbole is indisputable. But most Christians are afraid to admit it. Read Heb 3-4 for a better understanding of the duration of the 7th Day.

With respect to the 7th Day, Heb 3-4 says God designated a time called 'Today' during which we have the opportunity to enter into God's Rest. And what is God's Rest? On the 7th Day God rested from His creative activity. Now it stands to reason, that if we are able to enter God's rest, He has not resumed His creative activity. But once Christ returns, that will be the end of God's rest. At that time, God will destroy the earth with fire, 1 Peter, and He will create a new heaven and a new earth.

So, if we are still in the 'Today' of the 7th Day, is the 7th Day a 24 hour period? Clearly not if God had resumed work on the 8th Day, since His rest would have been over. But God has designated this 'Today' a long today, so that He can Save as many as are written in the Book of Life. He is not willing that any should perish and for Christ to enter the world to accomplish that Purpose.

But if the 7th Day can be 6,000 years long, is it inconceivable that Day 1 could be 1, 2, 3 Billion years old. And the others? How long did it take for animals to procreate and trees to grow and streams to flow and the dry land to appear? How long between Adam and Eve? How long did they walk in the Garden with God? Symbolism in the Genesis account, doesn't mean Genesis is untrustworthy. It means God told the story using allegory and metaphor.
  • CARLOS RAMIREZ TREVINO on Psalms 8 - 5 years ago
Page 1. Chris, don't take things to the extreme. First, how many days (24 hours) did it take God to create the universe and man? How long did God rest? How long was the 7th Day? How long did it take for the trees to grow in the Garden? See Gen 2:1-9. What did God do on the day after the 7th Day?

The fact is that there is an element of allegory and metaphor in the Genesis creation account. Christians are afraid to admit that because they think it diminishes the account and credibility of the Bible as a whole. But a realistic approach to Genesis 1-3 does no such thing. From Gen 2, for example, we see that it took time for vegetation to grow and cover the Garden. Adam could not have identified and named every animal in the world Gen 2:19-20. That is a stretch. Six days doesn't begin to explain the 13 Billion years old universe we live in. Careful examination of Genesis shows that God does things in an orderly and deliberate manner, in time. If God didn't work that way, why is it taking so long for God to rescue us from sin? Why not just say, 'let there be no sin' and poof, sin disappears?

Now, I covered the matter of the 2 Trees in the Garden before. When God expelled Adam from the Garden He set pillars of fire to guard the Tree of Life. Is that to be taken literally? And what happened? Did the fire run out? Where are those pillars? Clearly the imagery is metaphorical. From Revelation 22 and we know what the 2 Trees represented. They were not 2 physical Trees. The fruit was not a physical fruit. And eating the fruit was a metaphor for taking part in something they should not have been doing. Psalm 1:3. Read all of Ezek 31 to see a full picture of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. Who is that Tree? It is non other than the devil.

And who is the Tree of Life? None other than Christ

Yes, there is an element of symbolism, allegory and metaphor in Genesis 1-3. And the 2 Trees were representative of something other than trees. Continued in page 2.

Chris, I find Scripture doesn't support the notion that God knows ahead of time what is going to happen, let's it happen then reacts to it. But you have misunderstood my description of events.

From my limited perspective and to simplify,

    1. God determined to create, Gen 1:26

    2. In His Omniscient understanding of Himself, He knew that all things He created, to include Angels, would be eventually afflicted with Cancer (corruption, moral and corporal - an indisputable fact given corruption has affected creation)

    3. He developed a Plan of creation, which of necessity included Christ (Bible says all things were created for Christ - which can only mean for His incarnation, death, resurrection, through which He would accomplish His Purpose for Creation)

    4. He created Angels, who eventually became corrupt (Jesus said, one of you is a devil and identified him. He knew Lucifer would be the one)

    5. God created Lucifer, who is the one who corrupted (God did not cause His corruption)

    6. He created mankind and a group of people He called Jews so Christ could be born through them

    7. He placed Adam and Eve in the Garden and decreed the first Law, Do Not Eat (It was Appointed for men to die once, Heb 9:26-28)

    8. Because God loves us and His creation, He implemented His Plan of Redemption through Christ, to Save as many as Believe, Titus 1:2

    8. Christ came to rid creation of corruption and establish eternal perfection (a fact expressed through the Bible, summarized in Dan 9:24)

    9. The rest is history, Rom 8-10

The Genesis account of Creation is clear. God created with a Plan. The Universe was created in stages in a well-organized, purposeful manner. God created with a Goal. That Goal, we are told in Rom 8:28-30, is Christ.

The fact remains, the Bible is clear on the sequence of and the reason for which everything is as it is. Do we understand it? No. Do we like it? No. But Christ is the All in everything, 1 Cor 15:28, Col 3:11.

Chris, It is true that God knows things. He is Omniscient. But God is not a reactionary God. That is, He does not sees or know that something is going to happen and then reacts to that event. He does not see man is going to sin, so He provides a Savior. The Bible gives us an image of a God that is active in His creation. He Plans, then acts. To limit God to merely responding to what He perceives is going to happen, limits His ability to act. He is not a passive observer of history. He is involved and He is engaged with us in daily and constant prayer.

When you say, "I see that God's Foreknowledge determined His Plan to accomplish His Purposes," are you saying, "He knows what is going to happen in the Future and He acts on that"? Or "Based on His knowledge and understanding, He determines what He is going to do and how to accomplish it"? Examples: 1. I know what an engine looks like, so I will build one. 2. Based on my knowledge of mechanics, I will design an engine. The first robs God of all creativity, since He is only copying what He sees. I believe the latter is more Biblical, because God is in control. But if we think of God's Foreknowledge as a reaction to what He knows will happen in the Future, based on His omniscience, we make Him a prisoner of the Future.

The perception that the Future exists as an observable or knowable entity is flawed. We can't travel into the Future, because it doesn't exist. And if it did, we wouldn't be able to change it. The same is true for the Past. If there were such a thing as the Future, it would be set. That is, what the Future is, it is. Not even God could change it. Think about it. The perception of some is that God, in a sense, is reading in a book everything that's going to happen and that's how He knows the future. He didn't Plan the coming of Christ, He simply knew that was what was going to happen. But that is not what the Bible says. The Bible tells us God is in Control of creation, History and the future.
  • CARLOS RAMIREZ TREVINO on John 19 - 5 years ago
Chris, I question that God just lets us go about our business without interfering. You say God created us and left us alone? But the Bible says otherwise. In Dan 11:29, the Angel tells Daniel that "at the Appointed Time" something will happen. That is a recurring theme throughout the Bible. Christ came at the Appointed Time. He will return at the Appointed Time. What does it mean to "appoint" something? Clearly, it is God who appoints. It is God who "Schedules". It is God who Plans and Determines the course of history. Isa 41:4, "Who has accomplished this? Who has determined the course of history from the beginning? I, the LORD, was there first, and I will be there to the end." (God's Word Translation). Isa 46:10, "I distinguish the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come...'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.'

In Gen 18:14, Abraham is asked, "Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the Appointed Time I will return to you-in about a year-and Sarah will have a son." Was Sarah having a baby something God knew about the Future or something He deliberately Planned and caused to happen? Did God just want Sarah to have a baby, or was there a Purpose behind it? Did God Plan the birth of Isaac with a Purpose?

We can say that God knows what is in the heart of man, but how does He know it? See John 2:25, "But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all men. He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man."

Let me interject, that while I have an opinion based on what is available, given my experience and studies, this is what I have concluded. But the fact is, I don't know. I could be wrong. You might be right. But this is how I see it.

Paul speaks of God's Pre-destination of our adoption, of being conformed to His image. Eph 1:11,'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure'. God is not just involved, He determines.
  • Mishael ON God39s Love on Revelation 7:9 - 5 years ago
    CARLOS:

God (The LET US) existed before Creation. He's the Alpha and the Omega.

Original language in Genesis, says: in Beginning. Not in the beginning.

He created TIME first. Everything on earth and in the universe, was going to be regulated on time and seasons.

Everything scientist seek to explain: Time, Force. Action, Matter; is explained in Genesis 1:1. One verse. What a mighty God we serve.

Yes he sees mankind all through history (HIS STORY). But he gave us free will.

After Satan was thrown to earth by Michael the Archangel, he was here also with his will. I call him the I will I will I will mess up Gods plans. There's a scripture that says God is at work within our will to help us align our will with His , for our life. I need a lot of that, so I ask for it.

So you can see that we are the owner operators of our will. Yes God sees what we may choose. If we're completely closed off to the Holy Spirit, we make huge mistakes at times. Sometimes we miss out on Gods best for us because we are frequently boneheads about choices. We spend the rest of our lives lamenting that we wish we had not chosen that disaster.

I absolutely love God for that. He had my devotion at hello, Yom Kippur 1985. I had this vision one time of flying with the clouds, and I'd inhale this air that was so Good. Couldn't inhale enough. The air of heaven is faith. We have so much to look forward to. All the Lord needs is a open heart that wants to be filled with love. God is Love.

He's not mean. His judgments are righteous. Instead of cross judging Him. We should wonder why? He will show us the answer. If we skim like ice skaters through the Bible, we miss important thought.

We often close our eyes to things we don't want to see. If we miss the mark.. it's sin.

That's why Jesus was willing to pay full price. It was decided before Time started ticking on earth. Open your hearts, not your minds.

In Matthew 9 vs 20-21 - The woman with the issue of blood. IN that time she was deemed unclean. By touching Jesus in an act of faith, desperate for healing is it safe to say that by touching Jesus she made Jesus unclean? Not unclean in the sense of physical Uncleaness or spiritual but in the sense that he took het uncleaness. Matthew 8 say he took our informities and bore our sicknesses
  • CARLOS RAMIREZ TREVINO on Revelation 1:8 - 5 years ago
In Daniel 10:21, Gabriel makes reference to the Book of Truth and what is written in it. Is what is written in the Book of Truth or Book of Life, as it is called in the NT, what God knew would happen or what God wrote He would do? Are the names written in the Book of Life those God knew would believe, or those God decided to save? Are the vessels of Rom 9 what God knew He was going to do, or what God determined to do? Are God's Plans, plans or things He knew would take place?

God created with a Purpose. He created with a Plan. Can an architect design a house without a Purpose? Can he build it without a Plan? To say that God only knew what was going to happen, make His statements about what He is going to do, meaningless. Did God just simply know the earth was going to be flooded and warned Noah? Or did God do it on Purpose? Did God promise not to destroy the earth again with a flood, because He knew that was what He was going to do? Is God a seer that merely reveals what He sees in the future?

There is a misconception that because God is eternal and not subject to time and space, He can observe past, present and future. And that therefore, He knows everything. Is He like the train hobbyist that builds a train set with hills and roads and stands over it observing everything that takes place. So, did God create the universe and mankind, or was it something He just happened to know would happen on its own?

If the Future has control, does God? I can be omniscient and know how everything functions, yet not know what I am going to do tomorrow. God is neither limited by His omniscience, nor by the Future. Have a look at Isa 23:8, "Who planned this against Tyre...? The LORD of Hosts planned it, to defile all its glorious beauty, to disgrace all the renowned of the earth." Not only is God telling us that He Planned it, He is telling us He Planned it with a Purpose.

Your thinking is that God created, then stepped back and let things happen. But is that the case?
  • Mishael on man39s Dominion over man on Psalms 8 - 5 years ago
People who race onward and do not carefully read each word on the creation of Adam and Eve, will miss out on the greater revelation.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord formed (mould) man of the DUST of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female. Genesis 2:22

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

GOD DID NOT give Adam dominion over OTHER men or women!

Just like everyone else that has lived prior and now, OUR COLOR came from the same dust.

Genesis 11:1-9 is the account of the Tower of Babel; which was for evil by Nimrod. God changed the language of the people from one to many. The Lord scattered them all over the earth. Nothing is said further about races or colors. It happened back in the dust God used. Adams name in original text means, RED. That doesn't mean Adam was Native American.

You have full cause to be at peace with the color your ancestors were. Who knows what color Moses was, but he married a woman from Midian, which was predominantly dark skinned. His sister Miriam made a protest about it and God afflicted her with leprosy for a while. Numbers chapter 12.

God hates racism of any kind.

Before God the creator, no one has ever had a right to persecute people of color. If they were reading the Bible rightly, they would know that; in their hearts.

Satan has used his WILL to enter in and pervert the truth. People bought into it and it's been this color versus that color ever since.

God is Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Spirit. Jesus is the Son of Man. (He has color)

Believe the Bible, pass it forward. I thank God we're not all the same color! :D
  • Mishael on Psalms 8 - 5 years ago
I think all you men are doing a great job of getting people to think about end time events! Also to pass it on to family and friends.

Jesus said for us to WATCH. Be looking for Him. Be ready. Be born again now. Lovingly witness to everyone you want " inside the Ark with you". Jesus IS the Ark. Every time someone came by & asked Noah what he was doing, he preached Salvation to them.

Only difference is that next time will be by Fire. We are supposed to preach these realities, that you know already.

The earth is readying. It's warming up. In Job you see that God has storehouses of hail stones. Every year we experience floods, huge forest fires, drought, wicked storms. If you watch the govt earthquake center, you will see places being rocked every day with size increased tremors. Especially in areas that are being fracked.

I'm praying that everyone is aware of these realities. There are people that think they can just "ride it out". Why not instead be ready to go with Jesus? Now.

1 Corinthians 12:31, 13:2, 14:1, 3, 5. I don't think it's useful to get bogged down in tongues again. Paul is saying that to PROPHESY (speak forth the Word of God) is more useful. The Holy Spirit watches over His Word.

You have a whole room in here with people dropping by to hear something from God. They have problems, they're frightened, they suspect that "this Bible stuff" may have some truth to it. These are Jesus's sheep and lambs! If you're not a shepherd, then you're a sheep. I remind myself often what Ezekiel was told in chapters 2 & 3. We are accountable for what we say or write. It's serious business. If you get unction to warn others...it is probably God. Habakkuk 2:2-3

I love the book of Genesis. You have to read it very slowly. Things in chapter 1 will be picked up again in 2 or 3, with additional information. Satan was a snake. Eve knew not to eat the fruit, but she wanted to have the knowledge. She was tempted with food.

    Like us sometimes.

There has been many different commentators explaining as to whether or not we will know each other in heaven. I am searching the truth, what the KJV scriptures of the Holy Bible says. As I understand it, we will not know each other. I want the truth according to what God/Jesus says in the Bible.
