Jude is a very powerful and sobering Epistle. This epistle reminds us to STRIVE to enter in at the Narrow Gate, which is Jesus Christ and His Salvation. Many will attempt to do so, and will be unable. Why? They gave themselves over to their sins, and the lustful ways of the flesh. "Let everyone that names the Name of Christ DEPART from iniquity." ( 2nd Timothy 2:19). Beware of false teachers!

I learn so much from these commentaries, I thank the lord daily and daily ask for forgiveness and to live a better life for Christ, Because we all will come under scrutiny and if found wanting will be cast into the lake of fire. Oh that people realize this and I pray that I can bring those around me to Christ, can you imagine waking up one day in front of the Lord and to be found guilty?

What is David referring to when he say they ROD and thy STAFF - What is the Rod and what is the Staff? Have wondered that for YEARS.

The New Jerusalem would teeter on a Globe earth. The 4 corners would be miles high from the ground using a 8" per Square mile calculation. Also, the Bottomless pit is mentioned 7 times in the Scriptures (Revelation). How do you have that on a Globe 🌍?????

I don't agree with the answer about the number of chariots that Pharaoh took to pursue the Israelites. Surely 600 is mentioned, but so are and all the chariots in Egypt. I believe there were more than 600. How many more the number is not given. Maybe the 600 were for war and all the rest were for travel or work.??? Look at 14:7 again and you should see the distinction. Special and normal.

49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? ....Fire on earth - Jesus clearly state HE came to send fire on earth (even though HE knew ‘a fire’ was already ‘kindled’ on earth) i.e, read ‘all’ of Revelation chapter 6 to better understand ‘this fire’.

Look at it this way. Do you understand what the verse is talking about even though the verse uses brake? If so, then just ignore it. Believe me I know. In Acts 13:19 I questioned why Canaan was spelled Chanaan. But eventually I thought, “I know what Paul is talking about.” So, I ignored it and just left it at that. Revelation chapter 10,verse 11. How can John prophesy in this verse if he is in prison?

Verse 16 says "There is a sin unto death", and later says we aren't to pray about that! What IS the sin he's speaking of? Any thoughts? Could it be blasphemy of the Holy Ghost? That is the only thing I have found that says there is no forgiveness for! ( Matthew 12:31)

Luke 1:13 Why did the angel sent by God to Zacharias tell him to call his coming son's name John which means "God's gift"? Why did the same angel who was sent by God to Mary tell her to call her coming son's name Jesus which means "savior" (1:31)? These names were prophetic. They were a message to us from God that he was going to give us a gift of our salvation through Jesus our Lord and savior.

It states that Levi (Matthew) is the son of Alphaeus. But in chapter 3, it states James is the son of Alphaeus. Can someone please clear this up?
