  • A disciple on Leviticus 20 - 7 years ago
Something has to be said for the terrible uncleanness that permeates this evil generation. Why is it, that when you look up city data (when they even show that information) the places with the so-called highest rates of "religious" are the most FILLED with deviants, perverts and violence? To those who insist that the Law no longer applies, "because we are Christians;" look at the sins in this ch!
  • Ivan on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 7 years ago
Word. What do you think is withholding the man of sin from appearing? verses 6
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 12 - 7 years ago
Alex; Where do you get such unscriptural strange ideas? The Holy Ghost (notice carefully I don't abbreviate!) is the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ which is given into our hearts as an earnest or token of the Promise of our inheritance in the world to come; and for sanctifying and teaching us; and for using us to convict and teach the world about Christ. NOT TO REPLACE JEWS OR CHRISTIANS!
  • Rick Mathis on Psalms 118 - 7 years ago
Did you know? This verse is found at the very center of the Bible. Literally, it is the one central verse in God s word to us! Psalm 118:8. Not coincidental.
  • Servant of God on Matthew 4 - 7 years ago
Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. This is slso what Jonh the Bsptist spoke to begin his ministry. Why not? They grew up together being only 6 months difference in age. Was John the first to baptise? It was never spoken of in the Torah. What did John baptise his followers into? Repentance. To repent is to embsrk on a different path, having seen the error of your way.
  • A disciple on Philippians 1 - 7 years ago
    C. Frances Green; I don't understand your comment about African Americans. Are they African, or American? It is a snare for a Believer in Jesus to let himself be carried away with the causes of the world and to let himself be misled to run after the multitudes. In Christ there is neither bond nor free, male nor female, etc... and we are not to care about such things, except how we walk in truth.
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
"..How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" We may die or be killed for our faith in Jesus, without having yet received the promise of vengeance and righteousness upon those who inhabit the earth, who are guilty of our blood; But God waits for the whole number of us to be complete before He makes an end of the wicked.
  • Larry on Hosea 6 - 7 years ago
Hosea 6-2 is a part of the day of Jezreel prophecy from Hosea 1. In fact it seems the entire book of Hosea is just a part of that prophecy. A top level Leviticus curse to last 2000 years followed by the 1000 year "day of Jezreel". But what triggered it? Per Matthew 17 and Malachi 4 I think the event was the death of John the Baptist. Elijah according to Jesus Christ. His death triggered the curse.
  • A disciple on Luke 8 - 7 years ago
Steve Morrow and all; What kind of nature or disposition does the Spirit descend upon and stay, a Lamb, or a Tiger? Do you think that the Scriptures or for our salvation and comfort, but not also for light to expose and correction, in order for us to really and truly overcome all the tests and tribulations of life? Judge righteous judgment, and cease this envying and bitterness; or He will depart.
  • A disciple on Hebrews 5 - 7 years ago
What did Jesus ever do to provoke the hypocrites? He exposed their hypocrisy! And why not even from out of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? If you're about to be hauled before the Judge, don't you want to do everything to cooperate and seek lenience? Or when He has frankly forgiven you everything, BECAUSE you had nothing to pay; do you look for some fellow servant to take by the throat?
  • A disciple on Genesis 20 - 7 years ago
"And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing? And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake." Therefore one more great reason for us to be "More ready to hear, than to give the answer of fools." We are to be perfect toward all as our Father in heaven, and let God look on the hearts.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 7 years ago
Bill (cont.); My complaint is that you will not respond as a brother to me, not to ensure we're both right with each other, or even to explain better what I may have misunderstood. Instead you stand behind a stone wall of silence, except to attack out of the ambush! That's my perception. But what have I really written that you think is unscriptural or not of the Spirit's thoughts?
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 3 - 7 years ago
What was it in the case of Peter being rebuked? When it comes to taking the way of the cross, natural human affection and seeking to save one's own life IS a tactic of the devil to get us to despise the things of God and faith and obedience. Peter's love for Jesus was good; but his not understanding the insubordination of the flesh toward the Spirit of God moved him to lend his mouth unwittingly.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 3 - 7 years ago
"Every man's work shall be made manifest:.." (cont.); Where in all the Scriptures do we ever read that God talked down to people or patronized their inabilities? Nowhere! He always speaks in a language everyone can understand, so that it is entirely on the state of the individual's fear of God and whether he has a heart to know the truth that God either has mercy, or else hardens that one.
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 7 years ago
Bill; you know what else seems really inconsistent, is how whenever I talk about walking in truth with a good conscience and without hypocrisy, somehow you think that that makes me the subject of the LORD's scorn as one seeking my own glory or wise in my own eyes. If these things are really so strange to you, maybe its because you've never heard this at your church? Not my fault!
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 7 years ago
Bill; Saved by grace, but only having or walking in a speck??? If the fruit is rotten, its because the tree is bad. If we are truly in Christ, truly walking in the Spirit abiding in Him and His Word in us; what? WE BRING FORTH M U C H FRUIT! Now all this fake humility which can't help but sneak an attack against someone that's done YOU no harm, is not grace or humility or piety, but hypocrisy!
  • A disciple on Colossians 3 - 7 years ago
Sabrina; What are you confused about? This Epistle like all Epistles is about how to understand and put in practice the grace of God given to us in the Glad Tidings of Jesus Christ; and how to perform from the heart without hypocrisy what is good and well pleasing to God, in a world set to defy and contradict Him. Line by line, line by line, precept upon precept, as we walk in the Light we grow.
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 7 years ago
"O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah." The Lord Jesus Christ is the glory of the Father and the express image of His person. In the same way are we the glory of Christ insomuch as we are found in His image and likeness in truth on the inward parts. This is why His enemies despise Him, and hold rather to hypocrisy.
  • Rick on Genesis 3 - 7 years ago
My question is. In 3-23 who is “us” ??
  • Dee on 2 Timothy 3 - 7 years ago
Confused...if the Trinity is true...what about Hebrews 12:2....stating Jesus went up to sit at the right hand of the throne of God?
  • Jewels on Philippians 4 - 7 years ago
How is it you find peace through all your stuggles? We lost our only son for no reason. He was shot in the face for NO REASON 😩. I am lost w/o him.
  • A disciple on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
Maria; "..how can i make copies of the book of psalms..?" Write them out by hand! A great Saint gave some very sound advice about the Scriptures, which we would all be very wise to follow. He said, Write it down, pray it in, and work it out! In the Law also it is commanded the king, that he write out a copy of the Law for himself, and read therein every day. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet."
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 7 years ago
Gene; 1 John 3:12 "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous." Read again what is here written; "..Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD." Bringing an offering implies coming to give account of one's self; and that account must be centered in Christ's sacrifice.
  • Stephen Currie on Romans 8 - 7 years ago
Romans 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. His purpose? Romans 8:29-31 KJV For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? God Bless!
  • A disciple on Matthew 5 - 7 years ago
Daniel; isn't it like when we talk to one another; how if we start answering before we hear everything the other wants to say, that that's how misunderstandings get started? We want to hear the Word of God COMPLETELY THROUGH, in its entirety, to know the whole of what He is saying. So, yes, the whole; chapters 5 through 7; and not to pick out the things we like best, but for the whole Word.
  • Alex on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago

  • Daniel on Matthew 5 - 7 years ago
All of Matthew chapter 5? Or something more specific? It starts with the beautitudes, then different subjects. :)
  • A disciple on Revelation 14 - 7 years ago
Word; Yes, "the disobedient children go into captivity" is a part of the word here, but there is so much more that goes with it, which is for OUR LEARNING upon whom the end of the age is come. It is strongly advised that we DO NOT first run to the writings of Commentators, but to the LORD and ask Him to give us understanding, and then get quiet and wait. How else are we going to learn? 1 John 2:27
  • B.Good on Ephesians 1 - 7 years ago
Doesnt verse 13 prove that there is no way to lose salvation if you believed in Jesus atonement for our sin? No matter how great the sin, even if you believed then not believed later that the Holy Spirit is sealed up within you until the end? Or am I understanding this wrong?
  • Olivia Hrown Jr on Matthew 5 - 7 years ago
