how come no one is mentioning Romans 10:9-10...or even Acts16:29-31...we do have to be careful about false doctrines..what is repentance?? to turn away from the way we used to be...this is not to be seen in the carnal realm but in the spiritual!! Jesus said " the words i speak unto are spirit and are life!!Repentance starts in the Spiritual realm then is seen in the Carnal.

Jimmy (cont.); But the way we come to Jesus in the first place is holy and good in God's view! We seek forgiveness and reconciliation through the precious blood of Jesus, and God's great love and mercy for us. Is the blood of Christ not powerful enough to make reconciliation for us? Is the blood of Christ not powerful enough to purify the believing soul from every sin and repair all sin's damage?

"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." What makes people not love their neighbor or even their brother or sister in the Lord? If we are to love one another as Christ has loved us, then we must have the same character, nature and Spirit as Christ. Jesus said, that not understanding His speech is because of not being able to hear His word. That implies the need for a new creation, and having completely abandoned the old! That means a penitent and converted heart that henceforth longs for God and seeks His mercy, acceptance and blessing, and a mind no longer completely enthralled with self or the letcheries of its former life but being born anew, born from above, born of the Word and of the Spirit, TO BE THE CHILDREN, THE REPLICATIONS OF GOD! By this we know that we know God and keep His commandments, BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BRETHREN!

Dear Jimmy; Jesus Himself said, "Do not suppose that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I came not to abolish, but to completely make full." (literal translation). Also, isn't it the entire purpose of one's repentance and conversion to henceforth live a good and holy life of meekness and piety and bring forth good fruit to God? God has commanded that we should be holy as He is holy!

Jimmy; you may be mixing up some other part of Scripture here. The exact words which God spoke are: "Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten from the tree which I TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT?" That is DISOBEDIENCE! Not unbelief! And to make it even more to the point; Adam's reaction to shame for his sin means that he knew he had done wrong and wanted to hide it from God, and blamed the woman.

This book of Malachi is something else....it makes me jealous for Christ and the Father. This seems to be about the latter days and the heathen nations that , even now, seem to be praising Him and His Name more so than his own people do...Me? Guilty as charged.

this chapter is explaining Christ removed the Law and how we are to just trust in him and not in any rituals or doctrines of man..the goal of a christian life isnt trying to live holy but to total trust in Jesus..look at 2:6..as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him..so think.. how you received him..did you come with holiness or goodness? of course not..u believed on Jesus.

I thank God for Jesus and the sacrifices at calvary! Imagine what one man did for us all? He paid the price in full! We don't have to carry out the sacrifices on our own......... Thank you God for Jesus!

John1 for me is a deep book with extra ordinary deep insights.I was trying to relate it to a theory floating on the internet of the universal consciousness whose contention is that God is impersonal rather he is this cosmic mind that leaks our consciousness into our personalities upon birth?? They will argue that Isaiah 53 is discussing the nation of Israel as the suffering servant and not an individual. They will quote other scriptures showing that. However, Isaiah, clearly is speaking of an individual. An entire nation doesn’t have one soul; HE bare THEIR iniquity; no deceit was on HIS mouth - How can an entire nation of Jews have NO deceit? This and more is an individual. JESUS!

I believe Jesus was telling us how to pray , not saying repeat word for word every pray . I do believe we should always start with praising God and always for sure end with in Jesus name I pray . The only way to God is through Jesus so we should .
At ball games and such if I pray along I end with in Jesus name . They started closing by saying in his name we pray . Who’s name ? are they ashamed

Mega Churches filled to overflowing with misguided souls with itching ears and adulterous hearts looking for a Spectacle to excite them: this is what has substituted walking in holiness and truth and the way of the cross! While they look feverishly for Sign and Wonders they know not that they aren't even ready!

If it was an unworthy generation when Jesus was here, with all their hatred and hostility and contradiction against Him; what does THIS dried out old rotten tree think that God should care to give any of them a sign? What blindness!

Has no man seen God? Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

There are many things that can wear us down or catch us at a weak moment when we're weary or distressed. How do we let the furnace burn us all out and melt us, without "spontaneously combusting?" If we go back to the basics in the Sermon On The Mount for example , we do have a guiding principle to work toward but it will cost us everything we ever trusted in ourselves, to really have that wonderful grace living and working in us. We want to be the Blessed poor in spirit, those that mourn, the meek, etc but it is a gradual development through difficult training and many hard lessons to learn and there is a price! I wish more than anything that somehow by His great mercy and grace to really be that man after God's own heart, really and truly in His image and likeness and for ALL OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN JESUS LIKEWISE.

Jesus heals but only those worthy for he questions those,"believe ye that I am able to do this?" For we see that according to our faith are we healed. "Go and learn what that means. I call not the Righteous to repentance but the sinners!" And we are sinners here on earth without exception. Thankfully we have an advocate in heaven who speaks with the Father, impleeding him for mercy for us. Amen

David did not weep over the baby he lost due to his sin concerning Uriah the Hittite. (Even after fasting for a week). However, he wailed over Absalom. Why? Because he knew that little baby was with the Lord Jesus ( 2 Samuel 12:23 ) and he would see him again. And he also knew that Absalom was not a true believer in God. I noticed that in verse 25 that it mentions Mary wife of Cleophas. This is the only mention of her or Cleophas in the entire Bible. Who is she and who is Cleophas?

Matthew; Why then the mis-spelling? Canaan should then have been written, Kana-aniy(te) which would mean someone of Kana-an not cana-niy(te), or as in the Greek, Kananiy(te). The rest of my questions about the unlikelihood of Simon being a stranger, esp. a Canaanite, has to be considered in light of the separateness that every Jew was obliged to observe.
