  • Kevin on John 1 - 8 years ago
John 1:51 If Jesus is the Son of God then who is the Son of man?
  • Kevin on John 2 - 8 years ago
John 2:19 Since Jesus is talking about Himself, is He telling the Jews to destroy Him or did He mean "should I be destroyed"?
  • Servant of God on Luke 10 - 8 years ago
Who is this guy who came to earth and changed the paradigm of the world of religion. Even today, our beliefs are so diverse and contentious that we are willing to war over discrepancies, between Christians, Muslims, Jews. Oh Israel, who has heard from the Father himself in olden times and the prophets through out time, where are we as a nation of people, squabbling daily, at each others throats?
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
Freda (cont.) When we become immersed in the Scriptures, and want to really have that kind of heart worthy of our Lord and our God who so loved us and gave Himself for us; we start to feel how dead and unfeeling our hearts seem to be; and wish God would do something to make us different men (or women). Can we drink of His cup, and be baptized with His baptism? The Lord fulfill all thy petitions!
  • A disciple on Psalms 51 - 8 years ago
Dear Freda; How do you want to receive this broken heart? and what do you think will best work to give you a contrite spirit? In David's experience, like many of us since then; it was ugly terrible foul sinning without a cause against a good a wonderfully generous God; and the bitter tears of repentance. The troubled part of our life afterwards is filled with treachery and betrayal and sorrow.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
My doctrine is not mine; but His that sent me. If any man do His will, he shall know of the doctrine... If they receive not my words, neither will they receive your words. He that is of God hears the God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God. Every day they wrest my words. I am for peace, but when I speak they are for war. If I tell you the truth, why do you not believe?
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
Steve M; Do I know who keeps erasing Scripture as if it doesn't exist?
  • A disciple on Matthew 3 - 8 years ago
Anti-NWO; You say it quite accurately! With the advent of Rabbinic Judaism about 150 years (?) before; by the time John the Baptist began preaching and announcing the coming of the Saviour; it was a Country filled with Synagogues, zealots and sects; run by an extremely rich and powerful elite class, who were entrenched in a self-made system completely alienated and hostile to the Spirit of Christ.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
Steve Morrow; AMEN! But unless you finish your thought with me, how do I know whether you are using the Word to encourage and support me, or to cut me in pieces with it? I hope its for comfort and encouragement! What is the gist of my doctrine? By what Spirit do I frame my thoughts and try to bring out the sense and the meaning of the Scriptures? What does the Word mean to you? How do you read it?
  • A disciple on Daniel 12 - 8 years ago
Nathaniel Foster; where do you find Daniel having 14 chapters? I've seen in the German Martin Luther Bible that Malachi has 3 chapters instead of 4; but nothing was omitted. You may want to check to see if the entire Text is still there in Daniel, or if there's anything changed. The divisions of chapters and verses were not part of the Original Text anyway; but were added later for easy reference.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 38 - 8 years ago
"Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down." Which is easier, or which is impossible for God to do? to stop the clocks or turn back the entire ordinances of the stars and the heavens, or roll them back like a scroll at His Coming and the Day of the LORD?
  • A disciple on Nehemiah 5 - 8 years ago
"Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?" With regard for the practicality of the Apostles' statement, That we not bring the Gentile Believers under bondage to be circumcised and follow the ordinances of Moses; IT DOES NOT somehow preclude the good use of the Law as a teacher of love for God and men.
  • A disciple on Acts 15 - 8 years ago
God who knows the hearts has received us and purified our hearts by faith, giving us the Holy Ghost. "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?" The Holy Spirit is given to them that obey Him: does this one sentence then mean that we are not obliged to keep the commandments of God? What is the context?
  • Servant of God on Luke 8 - 8 years ago
What does it mean, Salvation, and why should one sweat it? Some think it's easy as accepting Jesus in your heart. Would that it was as easy as holding hands in a circle and feigning ecstasy! But it is about your human experience on earth, altogether. It is about deriving from the Word what God intends. And changing dramatically, resisting sin, as God, the Father has taught since Adam and Eve.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 15 - 8 years ago
Disciple,Do you now possess everlasting life, have all your sins been paid for?Is there anything to keep you from entering heaven? If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.John8:36
  • A disciple on Isaiah 38 - 8 years ago
Then what do you do with the Scripture that says, "He sits on the circle of the earth?" There is no conspiracy to make people think the earth is round; and the silly idea of a flat earth is really a funny thing that anyone should get distracted and upset over. The earth and the other planets revolving around the sun doesn't threaten the truth of Jesus and the Scriptures or our salvation at all!
  • K Patrick Gibson on Jude 1 - 8 years ago
    "Help"
Anyone...... Gen.6:1-4 and Jude:1-6.....can it be said that we are reffering to angels from Heaven coming down to earth ???????

  • Phil on Leviticus 11 - 8 years ago
V 2 Speak unto the children of Israel. are you of the people of Israel?
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
servant; "Victory over sin and death was accomplished only by Christ on the cross." AND, if then you be indeed a good planting of the Lord, you NECESSARILY WILL ALSO bear good fruit, won't you? If there really be that grace wrought in us; won't we reflect that same grace by His Spirit's working in our lives; whereby He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement? How else?
  • A disciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
YES, servant! as it is written; "Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" John 10:32; and "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10. Also: Matthew 5:16; 1 Timothy 5:10,25; 6:18; Titus 1:16; 3:8,14; Hebrews 10:24; 2 Timothy 3:17; James 3:13; etc.
  • Tanya Alexander on Luke 14 - 8 years ago
The salt of the Earth. Am I salty? And seasoning all around me? Dear Lord l pray that I am. I don't want to be cast out.
  • Bet on Hebrews 7 - 8 years ago

  • YOLANDA on Obadiah 1 - 8 years ago
"WE", as the people, "HEARD", as some people listen, "RUMOR", as some people talk about, "From The Lord!, as some people are revealed Wisdom! "an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle." - Now, Who Are The Heathen on Earth?
  • Eric on Job 1 - 8 years ago
How many times has God said, "have you considered my servant Eric"?

Then I fail God by sinning with my lips and more?

Thank God for Jesus who saves me from myself!
  • Eric on Job 8 - 8 years ago
Job's "friends" are judging him unrighteously. They are assuming that Job has committed some terrible sin, that he does not pray, or live a righteous life. How many times do we judge/accuse our friends or church brothers and sister wrongly?? John 7:24 "judge righteous judgment". One's circumstances are not how we should judge.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 66 - 8 years ago
False Teacher! "Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?" "Who is he that says, and it comes to pass, when the LORD commands it not?" Equally so; Who is he that says it will not be so! or, It is not that! when God said, Thus it shall be! Be not surprised when you see those who WILL NOT RECEIVE correction, that at one point they become full blown false teachers working AGAINST!
  • A disciple on Luke 4 - 8 years ago
servant; it didn't take much for that serpent to come out and expose itself! "He that denies the Son, the same HAS NOT the Father...Who is he that denies that the Son of God has come in the flesh if not Antichrist?" Jesus didn't learn Torah from the Rabbis but spoke it to His servant Moses in the holy mount: and is who was with God and is God and IS coming again in all His Divine power and glory!
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
Disciple,Victory over sin and death was accomplished only by Christ on the cross. We are saved by the grace of God.Do you now possess eternal life? Can you lose it?If you have it, and it is eternal, how can you then lose it?Evidence is in our confession of who Christ is/what he has done for us."with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"Rom10:10.I see you point others to works, not Christ.
  • Jared S. on Proverbs 10 - 8 years ago
